Homemade craft: DIY FOAM PAINT 3 INGREDIENTS!!

I'm sure most kids like mine get bored of doing the same thing or same kind of crafts, so i decided to look up something we have never done before that was different. I came across a do it yourself foam paint recipe, which is really cool! The kids can paint things on paper and its like 3D!

So heres what you'll need:
1. shaving cream
2. glue
3. food coloring
4. zip lock baggie

Mix equal parts shaving cream and glue into a ziplock bag, add the food coloring and then, with the bag closed, squish the bag together until all your ingredients are nicely mixed together. Have your little ones get their layout for their design (i would suggest something thick so the foam paint doesnt soak up regular paper) and when they’re ready for the foam cut off a corner at the bottom of the bag and use it like you’re piping icing! Thats it and let you little artists come to life!!!! =]

yes any of kind of cardboard! cereal boxes would probably be great to use!

Oh poops... sorry I remember now you already said you don't have a bath tub! In one of our bathrooms we have a lovely huge corner bath so bath time for the kids is always a special occasion. And a chance for mommy to relax LOL.

We recently bought homemade soap bath crayons and those were such a hit with my kids. I want to research how to make these ourselves. This would also probably be a great seller for moms to make!

sorry, i do all of my posting from my phone and for some reason it nevers gives me an option to add pictures. like i never get any of those buttons above the text box but once we do this again i can post pictures!

This is one we just have to try! I love that it is thick and chunky so yes cardboard would most likely be best for this right? Like old cereal boxes?

Something that we did with shaving cream and food coloring which was great fun is mix together and give it to them in the bath with a paint brush...foam bath paint! Way fun for them and because of the shaving cream it just dissolves and washes away when you rinse the bath.

Yes i agree with mike we need some pictures here! I have never heard of foam paint, this is the first time for me. the only downside to this recipe is that you should not make this with younger children. The shaving cream has chemicals in it that if ingested will make them sick. All of these DIY hacks that you have been posting are awesome! Parents from all over the world poor or rich can benefit from these. Thanks for sharing Ermini!

Since i was a kid we have this project about making foam paint and i bought it and it cost me money but my mother pays for it so no worries. but i found this one which is more fun to do. specially making foam paint using the ingredient above is more exciting.

Foam paint, that would be great for my kids, I have just saved this page to try it out.I have almost tried out most of the art and craft tutorial posted here.It amazing how my kids redo them without having to look at my device for the method the second time.I know they'll love this as well.The good thing about the tutorials on here is that the materials and ingredients for each recipe are always accessible.
