OH this is exactly the type of thing I am looking for! This is such a lovely and unique gift to give to people.

It is pretty, and useful. I can't wait to get something like this made.

We have a lovely neighbourhood where everyone knows everyone else and often we exchange gifts with people in our road. This will be the perfect gift for that.

It is such a thoughtful gift and really who doesn't like cookies right?

I can see my little girl would love this too, she is only 5 years old but she loves cooking. This will make it so easy for her to make cookies almost on her own.

This looks so beautiful and yummy. My sister always keeps the empty jars of mayo and sauces, so all those jars and cookies will do really fine with this idea. Thanks so much for the tip, looks like a nice way to send some Christmas greetings for the next holidays. Also, you can add some Xmas ornaments, card, or messages. Really really nice.

Those look yummy, I have all the other ingredients in my store apart from the oats, will need to check my store for that.yeah, I got a new snack to try out and I'm sure my kids would be happy to try this out.The preparation seems a bit similar to buttered cookies apart from having them in the jar, it almost same method.I have bookmarked this to try out.

Thanks for the recipe, I haven't tried making Cowboy Cookies yet and I've made a lot of different kinds of cookies since I was 12 years old. Some of my faves are butter cookies, chocolate peanut butter cookies and sugar raisin cookies.

Yes, this is a great gift idea. But I am thoroughly convinced that almost anything in a mason jar will make a great gift! My friend said that her husband bought her a dozen red roses and when he brought he put them in a mason jar with water. She was very pleased and he was rewarded for his extra efforts. LOL.
