Coconut Oil Good For Your Teeth...Oil Pulling...?

COCONUT OIL CAN BE USED TO HELP WITH YOUR TEETH PROBELMS AND SAVE YOU MONEY!!!

Oh man....I wish I would have know all of this sooner. I have super sensitive teeth and my husband and I do not have dental insurance and definitely cannot afford to just walk into a dentist and get some work done! LOL I have always had coconut oil in my house since my second daughter was born because I used it for diaper rashes (although she didn't have any really but you cant use diaper rash creams with cloth diapers, it ruins them)

OK, so let me tell you how to do this whole oil pulling thing....you take a teaspoon or 2 of coconut oil and swish it around in your mouth for 15-20 minutes and then spit it out! DON'T SWALLOW IT! LOL (be sure to spit it out in the trash rather than the sink because it can cause plumbing issues) And that's it, this oil pulling helps with cavities, bad breath, and gum disease.

Oil Pulling detoxes the body and also helps heal mouth ailments that you may have! The oil pulls the bacteria from between your teeth, which is one of the main reasons for plaque buildup and tooth decay. It helps whiten your teeth also, less than a week of doing this and you will have a whiter smile! Coconut oil not only helps with preventing from new cavities forming but it also helps heal the cavities you already have!! Sounds like I don't even need a dentist!!! HAHA

Would you guys do this? I'm actually really tempted to try this, since i have this on hand!! Who has done oil pulling before? Anyone have any feedback?

Thanks for reading guys and enjoy!!

I've never tried oil pulling with coconut oil or even heard about it before. I am very interested since although I have medical insurance I detest going to the dentist. I put it off for as long as possible each and every time.

This method sounds a lot more appealing to me. Plus the teeth whitening aspect. Being a recovering alcoholic and drug addict my teeth are not in the best condition. I also smoked cigarettes for 22 years so my teeth are nicotine stained. I was thinking of looking into some type of teeth whitening service but I wasn't sure where to start.

I am up for trying this for sure!

This tip is perfect for my family, they do need coffee to keep themselves going, but of course yellow teeth are always there. I will let them know, so they can try it and compare with some other methods. My friend uses baking soda and Listerine, and so far she has a nice smile, the only bad issue is that you can't use it every day, because they can hurt your gum, so maybe every 2 days may work fine.

Wow! That's great Ermini2 !!

I am a great fan of oil pulling. Some years back, I had came across an article, which explains in brief about oil pulling. I was quite impressed. So, I thought to give it a try, and it worked very well for me.

After 2 weeks of oil pulling, I found my teeth had became a bit whiter than it was before. I also noticed that my sensitivity issue has reduced a lot.

In addition to all its oral cavity benefits, oil pulling also works like a mini- detox. It helps to get rid of toxic substances from our body.

Really??OMG when you discover this thing? I mean this is great. In my country it is easy to have or to get a coconut oil so if this can do good in my teeth then I will do it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding to this matter anyway, it will be a good help.

I knew coconut oil to be good for almost but for teeth, I know about soda which could keep the teeth clean which I try to use more often than not.I grow up with painful cavities which made me also live in the dentist home but I have to learned the natural way of coping with it.Will try this out and see which is better.

I have been using organic coconut oil for some time now. I apply them to my unruly hair very often and the oil always makes my skin feel so soft. I have heard about Coconut oil pulling before but I have never tried it. This can help those who have problems with their teeth. I think it is worth giving this a try.

For real, it is more affordable to buy coconut oil than going to the dentist. I heard that you can brush your teeth with it in order to improve oral health. However, it doesn't mean that you can give up on regular tooth paste. Also, if you have serious dental problems, like I do, you better go for regular dental checkups. My dentist works in one of the best dentistry in Bay Village, and he's totally against natural remedies for teeth. Still, he advised me to use coconut oil periodically to prevent gum disease. Thus, you better use it with prudence.
