One of the good things about Christmas is all the Christmas party games you get to play that you might not play at any other time of the year. And the better thing is, once you learn about these games and how to play them, you can play them at any time of the year either at home or at work in the office or out with your friends.
And rather than put the full list of games in one thread, I thought it would be better to post one game a day for the run up to Christmas seeing as there's only about 2 weeks left! Actually seeing as there is only about 14 days until Christmas day. And you'll probably want to play these leading up to it. I'll post a few a day if I can.
Some of these Christmas party games you may already know, some you might never have heard of before. One things for sure, all of them will be sure to bring lots of laughter and cheer all round whether you play them at home with friends or family or work in the office with your colleagues!
Okay these first ones are going to be more for kids and more art & craft related fun you can have with your kids or your nephews, nieces and cousins and all young ones!
1. Build a Snowman Game
The way that Build a Snowman game works is you have to dress someone up like a snowman and the winner is whoever's snowman looks the best! For this you'll need several rolls of white toilet paper, the soft kind is best. And some black and orange crafting paper for the eyes and carrot shaped noise of course! Then someone brave must choose to be a snowman and someone else has to turn them into one by wrapping them up in toilet paper and sticking on the eyes and the carrot nose.
2. Snowman Bowling
Snowmen make great characters to have a lot of fun with! And that includes when you make them into a bowling game. All you need is some small boxes. Shoe boxes would do. Then wrap them in white paper or paint them white. Make sure to include a carrot shaped nose and some eyes and some black circles for his buttons. You can add a hat or a scarf and even stick some twigs on it him for his arms. Then you can just stack him up and then have kids roll tennis balls or some soft white snowball like balls at him and see who can topple him over completely first!
You could also make 6 mini sized snowman made out of the toilet roll cardboard tubes that are left over from playing the Build a Snowman game and pin them up like skittles!
3. Remember the Bells
Remember the Bells is a simple and great fun family Christmas game to play where you have cute little bells which all have letters written on them. And the aim is to remember which letter is under which bell from the 2 choices you can make. The person to correctly remember all letters and clear all the bells is the winner! You can make these bells from silver wrapped Hershey kisses or those little bells you hang on the tree or even some tin foil wrapped around an old penny or something.
4. Tree in a Row
Tree in a Row is of course, the classic game of 3 in a row. Or naughts and crosses. Only you can play with Christmas trees instead. Or, even make tiny little reindeers from some old wine corks. Then just paint 4 of them white and then you can play three tree or three reindeer in a row. The first person puts their color down first and whoever is first to get three in a row is the winner!
