Hi, Emoxi there are a lot of benefits that an employee is looking when it gets a new job, and I think the best one is the health care insurance, but of course, there is also the 401(k) plan, retirement plan. These two are the most important ones, but the salary and the paid vacation are important as well.

Yes Health care insurance is the best benefit this would be a great plan. Also in addition the best is pension which is already applied nowadays in some countries and in specific kind of job. All the retired employee should be treated well because of what they have done to help improve somehow an organization or a workplace. They deserve lots of benefits as a change of taking care of their responsibilities for how many years and for noticing their good service.

Healthcare for 100% sure. If your works offers completely paid health care you can attach another $20+ a hour to whatever you're making. In some cases a employer may be paying more to healthcare then you bring home every week!

Yes absolutely this is the best benefit in employment because whats very important at the very end is your health. This healthcare benefit should cover all the surgical or any meditation done in the hospital in whatever reasons. We must understand the sacrifices of every individual. Aside from this benefit we should not focus only in health benefits. There are some helpful benefits after retirement of an employer that could help them so much in their lives.

Your right, health care insurance is one of the best benefit an employee could have, considering how expensive it is to get sick. And a good retirement plan is one of the benefits that the company should have. It's the best thing they can give to employees who serve them most of their lives. The other benefits that other company don't have including the company i've been to is the separation pay for the regular employees. I experience working as a regular employee for a company for six years, and when i decided to resign because i felt that i can't experience growth and have to level up. I haven't receive anything. They don't have separation pay and only my last salary that i've worked for is what they gave me. Which i felt that i really did the right decision in leaving the company with only a few benefits and don't know how to take care of their employees. Other good companies have other benefits not only the 13th month bonus. They have bonus during the start of school year. And also before the year ends.

Yup! Healthcare is my best pick for employee benefit. Most of them cover checkups, surgeries, and medicines to ensure the wellness of their employees. If you see your self working with the same company until you retire, the retirement plan sure is the best partner of healthcare benefits. With these two employee benefits, the employee will surely love to help your business succeed. What do you think is the best Employee Benefit?

I agree health care is very important and you need the retirement plan to ensure your future after retirement. Investing into a business would be good after retirement or just simply enjoy life with your love ones.

I think in many countries it has now made mandatory. For giving the healthcare to the users. And they seem to be forcing otherwise there seems to be penalty for the business. So it all depends on the employed people there. That being said, this does take time some time for business and that's where the govt. healthcare comes in.

Agreed. Health care should be the top priority and if possible, it should be level-up, not just some basic health cover. I also hope that there would be the 14th-month pay and stress allowance. Of course, that would be impossible as those company wants to take more from themselves than give to their employees.

Same here, thats the benefits that I wish I could have in my present job because having a health care benefits makes you comfortable in whatever may happen to you during in your tenure.

Yes that's right. Those two are the most important things. The previous company that I used to work at was offering free health checkup at least once a year for all employees. This made me feel that my employer cared for my well being and instilled some kind of motivation in me. Nowadays health care insurance is very important. If I want to receive the best health treatments in my country then I have to make sure that I have health insurance. Luckily many companies provide this to their employees.

Benefits like health care insurance and dental plans are so incredibly important in the United States especially. The healthcare we have in America is some of the most atrocious in the entire world, and we are laughed at by many Western countries for our conditions. A company that provides adequate medical/dental care is an absolute gem. Retirement plans are also incredibly important given that it would seem most Americans have lost the ability to save their money. Over 50% of Americans don't have a single dollar in their savings account. Being a freelancer I don't have such benefits so I have to keep myself disciplined and save my own money.

Hi. Its been six years when Ill be in my present job right now but none of these benefits you say will I have. These kind of benefits seems like to be a good benefits you need for you to be in the long run in the company but in my country which is the Philippines there are just 3 common benefits that company will give that itll be the sss, philhealth and the pag ibig benefits.

Definitely, being provided health care by the company is one of the best benefits that employees can get, and a solid retirement package is a great bonus as well.

I think the best employee benefits would be a very good retirement plan. There is nothing as nice as reaping what you sow with hard labor over the years.

In my country retirees have to protest for their pension which is very pitiful after having to work the most years of your life.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

anor0428
Sorry about that. It is really sad to see when workers need to protest for what they have worked for.
Those kind of benefits should always be given without the need of protests. After all, every workers have their own contribution to the company, and they should always consider that. Without their workers/employees, their company would be nothing.

I agree with you 100%. If you have put in the hard work for your entire life, then you should be rewarded once you reach your golden years. I think that companies and governments should respect that and give people proper pensions when they grow old and leave the work force, however it doesn't seem that it is always guaranteed. That is why I personally don't leave that responsibility up to the anyone else but myself. Ever since I started working as a young adult I've been putting money into my savings every year, because I don't have the utmost confidence in the government.

The best employee benefit would probably be a good retirement plan, but access to exclusive places or services are great if you can find them. For instance, I live in a town with a big university. Lots of people I know get maintenance or food service jobs at the university so that they (or their children) can take classes for free. It's a pretty sweet deal.

Free food and drink. Facebook and Google offer this and it's probably one of the best employee benefits that you can get. Think about how much money you can save since you don't have to buy snacks or lunch when you are in the office. Facebook actually offers a lot more, they even offer free sticks of gum that you can take whenever. I know that because my work experience place from a couple of years actually took me to an event at Facebook.

Wow this is great. I think big companies are like this right? I know an international pharmaceutical company who provides free drinks and snacks to the employees. I've had my training there and this is really great. Unlimited snacks are provided to employees who are giving their best efforts for the company.

Although I don't think that this is the MOST important benefit that a job can offer, I do think that this is an awesome perk. I think this is a great way to boost employee morale, and it is also a good way to show your employees that you care, even if that is just an illusion. This would save me a lot of money in terms of lunches and food costs, to be sure, but I would take a good healthcare plan over this any day. I wonder if the food they serve is healthy as well?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

anor0428
Bright idea. I have never seen a company that offers free foods for employees. Maybe they can also add the transportation fee for the whole package. I guess this is why some of the employee prefers home based jobs instead of going to the office because they can save much if they work at home. But if this kind of benefits will be given to the employee, many will be encouraged to work outside.

This is actually a good benefit, like as you said you can save money from this thing. And also for me the benefit that I'm currently looking for is the benefit that your boss and other co-workers will treat you as equally as possible like there are no ranks or anything even if you're on the same level they still need to show some love and respect to you.

The kind of employee benefits a company offers is often an indication of how much the company values its members of staff. In my opinion, the more a company wants to retain talent, the more benefits it offers.

The best benefits, I have witnessed so far are childcare which allows mother or father to come in with their child and take them to the creche. They can visit them on their breaks or in case of any problem. This allows the parents to concentrate on their work and to be more productive, as they don't keep worrying about their child and finding childcare.

Another benefit that I like, is a membership to a health club, either on the premises or at a gym. Most companies never think about their staff welfare in that way. But a healthy workforce makes a productive workforce.

It will be a good idea to give employees incentives and rewards. They can be a loyal asset of the company if you give them rewards, it maybe incentives or salary increase. For sure they will be very happy to recieve this kind of benefits.

In my opinion the best benefit is the discount on some of the products or services that the company provides. Even a small one is great. Paying less than average customers is pleasant evrytime. What´s more, by working there the employee knows the quality and exact information about it, which is oftentimes one of the crucial factors. This can be occasionally useful for others when used as a gift from the employee.

Incentives and Bonus are the most common benefits for employees in our country. I'm hoping that other company would prioritize more in security and assurance benefits, since it is the most important benefits for employees. Benefits like insurance, healthcare, childcare, educational program and good retirement plan for their employees.

I also would like to agree that retirement plan should be the best employee benefits which huge pension plan, because if you have money you can
survive and when you retire you can plan what you should do to earn for a
living and also your family future. The pension feature offered by retirement plans acts as an adequate source of income, thereby helping you sustain your current lifestyle even without a day job.

Healthcare and bonuses based on productivity. The healthcare is nice in case something happens. Especially in jobs involving manual labor. Bonuses based on work are great because it gives employees something to strive for and keeps the creative juices flowing. Staves off apathy and monotony. I hear google does that a lot.

For me personally, healthcare would probably come at the top as well. We never know how much healthcare actually costs until we have some problems or issues and a good healthcare plan/benefits is extremely important for anybody. More so, in certain professions.

And who doesn't love bonuses? Everybody does. I fully believe that bonuses stimulate people to work even harder and produce better things.

I have to say that Healthcare Insurance and Retirement Plan Insurance are 2 of the most important benefits a company should give to their employees, however there are some companies and employers that do not comply to the law. These companies should be punished for it's inhuman practices toward it's employees who are the soul and flesh of their business. I personally believe also that companies should give incentives and rewards based on the performance of their employees to inspire them to become the most efficient and effective assets of their businesses.

I think health insurance is still the most sought after type of benefit in employment. I know some people who would love to leave their jobs but can't do it because they don't want to lose their security, and understandably so. Aside from this, I guess among secondary type of perks, anything free could be great too such as getting free meals, housing, or even just getting a company car could also be very enticing to potential employees and current ones. Ultimately, however, I think being able to get along with your bosses is the best perk for employees, as people are more likely to stick around if they feel as though their leader is worth being loyal to.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think that will be health insurance and retirement benefits. These benefits will boost your employees potential and to be loyal to the company because they know that they are secured and cared. So I think these are good to give in your employees.

Good retirement plan that covers health insurance. After years of being loyal to the company, I think employee deserves this kind of benifits so they wont have to worry about what will they do after retirement. This will motivate the employees to work harder for the company.

I think most of the government jobs around the world offer that benefit. Any other job than this requires you to do this on your own. I have not seen anyone going with the private job for these benefits in my country. Maybe some MNC offer enough salary that we can fund this on our own. But it seems like a good option for many who wants to be expecting the health insurance. It's worth going forward for as well.

I also think that health insurance and the employee retirement benefit schemes are some of the best packages to have in a company. An attractive pension will likely motivate the employees to work hard and stay loyal to the company. That will in turn boost productivity and sales. Those who have invested in the company will likely gain something, for example, a higher dividend payout.

I think paying for the health insurance is the best benefit for the employees. And it can be surely good for those who want to save a lot on the money. I have noticed that some of the time such type of benefit can be good enough in many ways. You just have to work with the employer and get them to work on these things for you. I have learned that health insurance and paid leaves are good for the workers to keep them with company. And in such case you don't have to push much for the employer benefit.

For me the best employee benefits are first, health insurance. So we can monitor what's happening in our body. Second is bonus. It is the best of the best for me especially if you have high bonus. Lastly is monthly 1 sack of rice. We need it and remember this is a necessity.

Definitively a good retirement plan. You should see the long lines and bureaucratic issues the third age has to deal with in my country. I mean, you spend literally your whole life, doing a job for a company, and when you retire you have nothing? or at least something decent to live with. Also, governments don't help on this one, they have forgotten that when you are old enough, you can't even help yourself sometimes. So, anything that supports health and comfort during your working time and after you leave, that is the best benefit you can have.

What do you think about "rewards"?

I think offering rewards (obviously rewards that are good, not just free gifts, haha) to employees for good work is a great way to recognize them. Employees who are happy with their jobs are more likely to show better results in their jobs.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Rewards came by way of promotions and double increments in the salary slabs. We used to be called for appraisal of our performance and after that session bosses made their recommendations. Some were even demoted.
And yes. There was medical insurance too.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Medical insurance is also a good option but depending on how much your salary is the discount can be a little salty and end up compromising other bills that you need to pay.

However, I think health is always in the first place, so... This discount wouldn't be exactly a problem for me.

I think the best benefits are Health care, commissions and holiday pays. I would definitely be satisfied with a health benefit, since workers gets sick from time to time.

I would say that, for me, the most important employee benefit would have to be health insurance, overall. Healthcare is so crazy and expensive here in the states, and having a good medical plan, much less a good retirement plan, is terribly essential. I love vacations with pay, bonuses, perks, etc., but nothing beats good and reliable healthcare when you get sick, especially when it covers the costs of surgeries or other major procedures.

For me at my age, I will vote for the Health Insurance that also includes my family members. it's because health is the most important thing for me and for my parents. I mean food, rent, tuition, and other basic commodities are endurable but if there will be a sudden health problems for any members of our family, it will be really hard for us because hospital bills are really expensive plus the medicines that will be needed is also expensive that will really hurt our budget for each month. So I think this is the most important benefits nowadays.

I enjoy the perks of having free dental check up and monthly clothing allowance. However, I think the best benefit an employee can get is a retirement benefit. It was one of the reasons I quit my previous job. Some BPO companies offer retirement benefit which one can get as early as five years or he can choose to get it once he leaves the company. I've stayed with my company for over five years and it made me think. Had I worked for a company that offers retirement benefits, I could have availed it already on my fifth year. Instead, I left the company getting nothing but my pre-calculated 13th month pay and some unused leave credits.

Wow, free clothing allowance? That sounds good to me! I am working on a company without uniform, so daily clothing is an everyday challenge. With clothing allowance, I can make sure that I won't get tired of thinking what to wear every day because I can buy new one with this allowance. Really helpful! I just hope our company has this though What do you think is the best Employee Benefit?

The most benefits should be retirement plan or benefits.Nothing is as wrong as getting old and you have nothing to fall back on in one's old age.So even if the employee was paid billion and no retirement plan in place, it becomes devastating for the retiree at old age.

Health and dental care benefits definitely. Personally, I feel that it should come first before anything else since health is the main driving force behind excellent performance. Of course you also have to factor in attitude and determination in there but if your health is screwed up, it won't really matter much as your physically limited.

First is self fulfilling since being the best really feels good and will boost your enthusiasm to do your work. I think this will really help you in being more positive in life and have a game face on. This will also make your name appealing to your boss and your co-worker. You will be like an instant celebrity in your work. Off course, there will be supporters and bashers of you. And I think, you can have some financial benefit also.

For me I think the Best employee benefits that we can get offered by the company would be having above average salary with good health insurance benefits , 13th month pay and having a paid leave. Because some company deduct their employee salary for absent and it really hurts the pocket.

Yes, I agree with you. My daughter works in a big company that provides a good range of worker benefits and allowances. The company does not deduct employee salary if he is late for work. Just replace the hours on other days to compensate it. Workers had to work according to the specified hours in a month. 13 month pay and bonus helps to maintain the workers confidence in the company

No deductions if they have late? This is the first time I learn about this! I would love to be in a company who doesn't deduct for late hours. I hope my company has this benefit someday. What do you think is the best Employee Benefit?

Compensation in excess of salary is, of course, good, but just giving money to all employees can have a bad effect on business. If an employee is paid compensation, it should be clearly understood why. If an employee has overworked or suffered during work, then of course compensation is justified. I have been running my business for about a year now, and I have taken a number of measures to maximize the productivity of my employees. Of course, I had to search for a solution to this issue for a long time, but I successfully found a way out of the situation. The solution turned out to be very simple, it was enough just to enter a report card for employees at https://tracktime24.com/Free-Employee-Schedule-Template and make sure that employees do their job exactly and any processing is also immediately visible. Now my system is so fine-tuned that I do not even worry about a decline in productivity since it will definitely not happen
