Do you read personal blogs?

Do you read personal blogs?

I noticed that some blogs are personal blogs where the writers are writing blogs alike a daily journal. I do read personal blogs that are related to marriage, parenthood and children-parent problems where these blogs provide a wide range of criteria that Asian and Western parenting hood are almost alike.

Do you read personal blogs or prefer to read blogs that are related to your interest?

I don't read any personal blogs. I don't really have any interest in these type of blogs because I just don't see the point of reading about someone else's life because I could just do some much more things that will actually interest me during that time.

I know what you mean. There are a few times that I would say I was interested enough with someone else's life enough to want to read about them but for the most part I'm more interested in the content they will bring because of that life. For some blogs it may be travel or may be just their thoughts or things they find, which all ultimately connects in some way to their everyday life and habits, but I'm only interested in their lives as a supplement and the main content I want from them is the other stuff.

Maybe it's just me who is very empathic on other people's cares since I do waste some of my time reading personal blogs. But It's like once in a month I guess, or there's really something in the story that touched the hearts of millions.

I agree with this as well. It's similar to how I never really understood the concept of vlogging on YouTube. Why would I want to know the daily activities of some random person/family on the internet that I not only know nothing about but have no reason to care about them. And yet these people make an absolute killing on YouTube. I don't understand the psychology behind it. It's as if most people's lives are seemingly so boring that they have to feel like they're included in someone else's (more interesting) life.

I'm not sure about personal blogs. But with vlogs, what you said is exactly why they are so popular - "It's as if most people's lives are seemingly so boring that they have to feel like they're included in someone else's (more interesting) life.". Most people will watch vlogs because it gives them an insight into a life or an event that they may not be able to ever experience or attend.

I don't read them it doesn't mean that I wouldnt I just don't have any that I have put on my personal to do list to read. It might be a good idea to do it, I just don't. I think it would be something that I would be interested perhaps in doing sometime though.

I agree with you. I don't see the point in spending my time reading what other people spent their time doing. I have no interests at all in the personal lives of people on the internet. I see it as a complete waste of time. I could be doing more things that would benefit my own personal life.

I personally don't read personal blogs as they're too personal for me, lol. I enjoy when people are professional in their field, that's why I read not blogs, but captivating articles on reliable sources. Besides, the latest article-news I've read was https://news.amomama.com/198779-me...years-their.html . It's about Amy Carlson and her nice family. I like that there are described all interesting details and her experience in general. Don't know why, but this kind of articles is so inspiring for me, they give me a full image of how nice family may look like and I believe that I'll meet someone in future who will be able to give me this desired warmness and light.

I read personal blogs, as well as other blogs.most of my friends on Facebook, have a personal blog which they write about their journey in life. Some write about their weight loss journey, money making journey, marital journey and stuff like this.I read them when once the link is shared and I take notice of it.It worthwhile because one gets to learn about how to tackle some problems if they're confronted with through reading these blogs.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, reading personal blogs is a way to learn from the blogger's experience on different matters of life. It's not that we get the best information, but reading them is good to learn.

I also agree that reading personal blogs helps us learn from the blogger's experience. Although some might give too much personal information, we can still identify with some of their experiences and feel that we are not alone.

Everything one reads online definitely teaches one thing or another to the individual. It is not just from blogs that one gets to learn from the writer's experience, anything posted online, be it on blogs, forums, websites and all social media contains a message that would be beneficial in one way or another.

I try as much as possible that I could to read wide and amass a great deal of knowledge from those that started life before myself.

I do read personal blogs every now and then. Reading personal blogs of people all around the world helps us to learn about their cultures and traditions. There are many people who have shared their travelling and cooking experiences and many other stuffs. The main problem with personal blogs is that it may be difficult for you to drive traffic to your blog.

I think personal blogs have lot of things to teach others. And on that note I'd say not a lot of things are shared due to personal nature. I have learned that personal blogs require our attention on things for this to properly work around. But I guess we should not stress when writing the personal blog.

I think the beauty with personal blogs is their honesty. You get to see the person behind the screen. You find out about their life and personal experiences. You understand their likes and dislikes. In short, you get to know who they are. What could be better than that?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, blogs can give you insight on things that you've never experienced before, and reading your friend's blogs makes you understand the things happening in their lives so you won't have to wonder why they act a certain way on some days.

Yes, I do. I have a few favorite personal bloggers--I really enjoy the blog of a poet I know, Jamie Iredell, and I also frequent other writers and their blogs as well to learn about their process and their daily lives which focus on the act of writing and on always being open to the creative or writing experience. I really do appreciate good writing, even if it is about someone's daily life--if the writer can transcend the ego and make his or her daily life into something bigger or about all of us, then I think that he or she has really succeeded in a triumph in the genre of personal blogging. It is not always easy to do this when we are talking just about "ourselves", but it is possible to make a cultural and viable artifact out of a personal blog if the content is up to snuff.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Oh, I have never heard of him. You said that he is a poet? Does he only write poetry based blogs or just more general personal ones as well such as the things that he learned, that he does in daily life, etc.? I have many writer friends. I have subscribed to their blogs. There was a time when I used to read almost every post published by these writer friends. However, these days I hardly read their posts. It's not that I lose interest, it is because I am very busy and cannot find time to read each and every entry. I think personal post gives a great enjoyment because you get to know the person behind the words. You can identify the writer's pain and suffering, as well as pleasure and joy.

It is quite difficult to continue reading your friends' blogs. However, you also need to make sure that you are reading your friends' blog. Reading your friends' blog is a two-way process, you read theirs, and they will read yours. However, you don't have time to read their posts every week, and they will also not be reading your posts every week.

I used to have that during the bubblews and squidoo days. Lot of interesting data was posted on the sites. And those sites collapsed. It was very good experience learning from them. Many of them were farmers and used to document their experience. So there are lot of things to learn from personal blogs.

I began interacting with my fellow writers since my days in Helium. I had made few friends there, however, these friends were limited to Helium. When I joined Hubpages and Squidoo, the friends I made on this site also became my friends on facebook and twitter. About 70 percent friends I have on facebook are my fellow writers from hubpages. Interaction with these friends honed my writing and marketing skills.

Yes helium was one good site. But it was not meant to sustain at the rate they were going. I hope they stayed online. But it seems like there are not going to be much sites who are going to sustain with this model. And hoping that in future things may change though.

Right now? Not really but a while back I used to love to read this guy's personal blog. He was one of the CEO's for a really promising technology-based company and his blogs were absolutely amazing. It was so fun reading all of the different stories, obstacles and things that he had to go through to get his business off the ground. Sadly, he stopped blogging due to lack of time and that's when I stopped with the personal blogs.

I currently prefer reading just more general based blogs that talk about my interests.

I find that I'm in a similar scenario currently. When I was in my mid-teens I used to enjoy both reading personal blogs and watching my favorite YouTubers vlog. These days I wouldn't be caught dead doing either one. I looked back to some of the vlogs I used to watch and for the life of me cannot figure out why or how I found them entertaining. Now I just like to read/watch stuff that I can learn from as opposed to just reading people's experiences.

I am also reading a personal blog about stock trading. The author started as a beginner and is now among the best and most famous stock traders in my country. He is now the leader of his group and is teaching stock trading to those who want to earn money from it. It's fun and informative to read on how he evolved from a beginner to a master.

There is no big deal about reading such blogs for some of them have loads of useful information that can help one develop better in life. So, I think following some of those blogs is worth it.

It's quite true that most of these blog types have very useless information (it's just something to fill the authors' own ego in displaying something) and these types of blogs I always avoid. But some blogs are pretty cool mainly in the matter of the approach / writing of the subjects.

I was never interested in reading personal stories until I began publishing on Bubblews, that was back in 2014. On Bubblews, posts on personal stories excelled than informative contents. In 2015, I launched my first website, a personal blog. On this blog, I published my personal stories (also some informative contents). However, later I lost traction and stopped updating the blog. recently, I published few posts after a long time, I am trying to revive the blog again.

It is actually depends. Sometimes, I read personal blogs but most of the time, I read random blogs that interest me. I read personal blogs of celebrities maybe because its either I am a fan or just curious of what they are writing about. It is not really that serious though because I just read them if I happen to see them. Unlike, blogs that really catch my attention and interest me. I tend to spend more time reading them and most of the time, leave comment or response unto it. Somehow that gives me enjoyment and satisfaction afterwards. Do you read personal blogs?

If anything - I really try and avoid personal blogs. I don't enjoy reading peoples dirty laundry or personal problems. They have a right to air any grievances or issues they may have. But I also have a right to scroll on by. Occasionally - I run into a personal blog that someone posted that intrigues me. But once I am done reading this leaves me with a secondary problem - which is that I don't particularly like to give people advice. Lend some helpful knowledge? Sure - but not advice.

Sometimes when I read some personal blogs, I understand what they say because I've been in that situation. So I relate myself as the blogger. So I comment and make sympathy on his/her blog. I hope that it helps the blogger a lot.

I often read personal blogs because this helps to detect common errors in some blog posts and fix them in order to receive rankings. Personal blog posts should be checked from time to time so that common errors won't bring about setbacks to search engine rankings.

Search engines consider lots of parameters other than the number of posts you have made to your blog. Other parameters search engines consider before ranking you include grammatical accuracy of your blog posts, the length of each of your posts and the likes.

I read personal blogs and do this regularly. Your personal blog needs to be monitored from time to time and that can really help your blog get site rankings on time. It's not easy at all getting search engine rankings these days if you don't have enough time to watch and work on your blog performance at all times. As a new blog owner, you must have tools enabled that will help you track your blog performance and check its sitemap performances.

I used to, but now not so much anymore as it has become a lot more mainstream and I feel like a lot of the blogs that do this have certain expectations and exude a certain vibe that the previous generations didn't have. However, it's not like I was really that much of a fan of personal blogs in the past either anyway, so I would say I wasn't really their core audience to begin with. I mostly frequent blogs that talk about other things and only connect to the author's life in minor way if at all instead of being the main focus.

I tend to visit personal blogs, when they talk about specific themes I'm really into. One of my big passions is to travel, so the best way to find an opinion about places, recommendations, tips, directions, and pictures, is by checking out the blog of an experienced traveler. Also, I do like bloggers that comment back on their followers, so that way you can have a good feedback.

This is exactly why I like personal blogs, because people share their own experiences and you can meet some very interesting people this way and even learn from them. I read some personal blogs but depending on the topic. Parenting can be interesting and handling a strong marriage. They maybe personal but we sometimes get ideas and information that can be very useful in our day to day living. Most of them are not common issues and topics that you can simply read in other books or blogs. What makes it unique and interesting is that it is sometimes delivered at a very convenient and comfortable manner that suites my interest. So I am encouraging others to try reading some personal blogs it might fit to your standards and will be interested to read more about it.

I'm much the same as this. There are some personal blogs that I really enjoy because they give me insight into how people handle similar life situations to ones that I am in. I generally prefer to read blogs that are specifically about a topic rather than someone's personal day to day life.

Personal blogs are what I termed as opinion blogs because no one gets to attach the owner that much, I feel personal blogs have helped the life of people more than commercially placed blogs, one thing I also like about commercial blogs is the way the and manner the owners conduct it, they ways have time to discuss and respond to other peoples comments more than a commercially inclined blog.

I think reading personal blogs is fine if the person who operates the blog is sharing something constructive or positive. But blogs where people are always trafficking in the negative, slanderous, mean-spirited or downright threatening and insulting - aren't my cup of tea. I often read personal blogs that are about their own travel and food. I like how they present and showcase all the good things in one particular country that they've just visited. I also love how they introduce us to those local cuisines that really look delicious. I do enjoy reading personal blogs for as long as it's about travel and food. I do also sometimes read their reviews about a certain product that they've tested and recommend. You can learn lots of things from other's experiences in life.

I read personal blogs when they are about something interesting. I follow many blogs about people's experiences travelling or living abroad. It can also be a blog about daily boring life but it should be written interestingly. There's definitely a big market for personal blogs because people like to read about others.

I would love to read personal blog if there are any permission if it is allowable to read kind of personal blog. But if that is prohibited so I should respect that because they are the one who made that personal blog and I have no right to read it if they don't want it.

There are too many interesting ones, I love travelling blogs, offroad blogs and many others that are related with nature and happiness. Moreover there are guys that are taking pictures professionally and it looks more than amazing, I love to watch and to read interesting things and facts about different places. I decided to do the same thing, but I need to finish some formalities with my previous work. I already have a website and guys from https://www.justseo.co.nz/wellington-seo-services/ will promote me for a very good price. So I hope that everything will be fine.
