My partner is currently pregnant so we won't be able to do traveling and some things so i decided to cook the best dish and her own favorite with an extra kick. Simple but the best because not only it tastes so good but she is also she is craving for it because of pregnant things.

I'm currently single so I thankfully don't have to worry about finding the perfect gift this year, haha. In years gone by when I actually was in relationships, I would always try to make the gifts something fairly original. None of that clichéd bouquet of roses or heart shaped box of chocolates stuff. The way I looked at it was that for the price of a bouquet of roses, I could buy my partner something they actually wanted and won't wither away in a couple of days.

I would typically keep in mind what my partners were interested in and had mentioned throughout the year, and I save the ideas for the occasion. Sure I might wrap it in a Valentine's Day themed gift wrap or bag, but I never felt that Valentine's Day gifts necessarily had to be themed for the holiday.

Nothing planned to be honest. Because not much into this type of the commercial festivals. At the most people are going to be going outside. And I may join in. And most likely family won't be there. But yeah whatever may work out. I'd seee if I can enjoy the day with all the people around with office.

I'll go traditional this year and go with flowers since I have more time and money to prepare. I don't give flowers yearly to keep the element of surprise and I also love to arrange my own bouquet to make it more personal.

Every Valentine's Day, we usually think of chocolates and flowers as gifts but for me for your partner to appreciate you even more we should show them our effort in making the most out of this special day. If you are creative you can do an improvised photo album of you and your partner, for him or her to reminisce the best parts of you being together. Have a quality time with your partner. Go to a place where you think would be romantic, where no smartphones or laptops allowed so that both of you can have a deeper conversation for a stronger relationship. One place I can recommend to you is a private beach or do mountain hiking.
You can date him or her out, go on a food trip if both of you are really into eating and spend your time on the things that make you both happy.

My hubby and I plan to go out and watch a movie together. We are not really fond of buying extravagant gifts. Instead, we spend our time doing something that we love and that would be watching movies. We both are inclined to watching different movie genre.

Same, we're planning on watching Black Panther as we both love Marvel movies. It's a really good way to spend the time as you'll have more things to discuss after the movie aside from the usual work and family stuff.

oh that is a wonderful plan, a movie to watch. I have not watch a movie with my hubby for years, well, 22 years already. My teen is an adult now, my boy is still a school age, so, Valentine's day is alike a thing of a past now. What we did was having dinner together with kids and my kids wishing me Happy Valentine's Day instead of my hubby!

I look forward to the day that my Valentine day will be like yours. Simply spending time with the family that I build. I would love to hear my children greet me on that special day.

Only if I have enough money to buy what my loved ones want, I am very much willing to do so. However, I'm broke enough not able to do that huhuhu. Anyways, for this question, I will give my time to them. Cliche yeah but aside from material thing that I can give, I will give them my time. To my mama, I will go out with her during valentine and go window shopping and somehow eat in a food restau which is cheap enough but worth it.

My boyfriend and I were planning to celebrate on weekend instead of going out on the exact date. We want to visit both our parents, give a simple present. We both want to watch a movie and have a dinner after. Simple plans are still the best for me.

So far I have bus tickets for two going to beach, but the personal thing or gifts, I can't decide yet, or maybe I don't need that anymore, having her in a beach, I think is enough. It's really hard for me to choose the best gift or even not best, just a simple gift. I'm not good in that thing.

Today is the Valentine's Day. I am a married man with a 10 months old child. If some one had asked me about valentine's day gift 5 years ago, I would have said I will buy jewelry for my girlfriend. If the same question was asked 3 years ago, I would have said I will buy a dress for my wife, if you ask me now, do not have an answer. Maybe I will buy things that she wants, for instance some home improvement thing, kitchen wares etc.

My girlfriend and I are planning to go watch some movies together. We're gonna take a romantic dinner, a very memorable one. But, she doesn't know that I've prepared a gift for her. I bought a brand new guitar which she loved to have. I'm pretty sure she would be as happy as she could be. I can't wait to see and witness her priceless reaction.
I really want to make her happy.

My partner is very simple and grateful type of person, each others presence and a simple food to share with would just be enough. Today is also Ash Wednesday so we will go to the church toattend the mass definitely. Maybe we’ll go eat out have a sumptious meal to end the day and head back home to rest.

Did you know that on Valentines Day, it is estimated that the spending of people in the United States will be roughly $18 billion? That's according to NRF (National Retail Federation). That should mean that it is roughly around $137 per person. Amazing isn't it? I wonder what's the world's estimated spending?

But to answer your question, we didn't really planned something extravagant for tonight (it's Vday here already) but just a good family dinner since it's a school/work night so we just carry on and spend it all just by being together. I told my husband not to bother me bringing flowers too. He knows I love my succulent collections more and cut flowers aren't just for me now.

So The Americans are spending $18 billion just for Valentine's Day?
Every day is a love day and I can gift my wife whenever I want. Therefore, I do not look forward to make Valentine's Day special. If I am in mood, I will take my wife to a dinner or outing any time, I do not have to wait for 14 th feb.
BY the way VD was an average working day for me. I did not buy any gifts, I did not receive any gifts.

That's how the majority of the world perceives the day, a day of spending. What I hate about this Valentine's Day is we got late to go home because of traffic. There's so many people/vehicles on the streets and the traffic build up is over! Much more over than last Christmas. It's like a glimpse of the upcoming holy week too.

Well I am currently single so i don't have to worry about it this year. But if I was in a relationship I think I'd plan something new and challenging to do with my partner, something that we would never forget. Even though I'm not a big fan of this commercial love that is showed off all around us on Valentine's Day, I think about it as a day that celebrates the purest feeling in the world : love. So if you have a loved one in your life, this day is all about you and the feeling that united you two.

I have always noticed my fiance asking about a blue dress that she saw on an online store and in as much as the clothes was expensive, I tried all I could to get it for her today being Valentine. Watching the shock in her eyes and the way she hugged me made me come alive. I would have to admit that this is one of the best Valentine ever. We really had a good time today talking and bonding.

My Valentines was amazing. In my very humble opinion valentine is about love. I celebrate loving me, myself and I in the words of the popular singer Beyonce. I take the day off and I treat myself, buy myself nice expensive chocolates, go to the spa. However I also buy my loved ones champagne and chocolates. I don't get offended if no one buys me anything because I've got myself covered and gifts are so overrated!

It's really good to love yourself. Loving oneself is the core character that is missing in the lives of many around us and that has made it quite difficult for those invloved to even love others. During my Valentine day celebration, I got a nice gown for my fiance and in as much as she didn't buy any thing for me, I felt that there is need to celebrate every moment I've been with her.

My girlfriend and I are not huge on Valentine's Day, and we agreed not to get each other anything. She calls it a "Hallmark Holiday", just meant serve commercial purposes. She told me yesterday, "if you really love someone, shouldn't you celebrate that every day instead of just one day out of the year?"

So we didn't get each other anything. We just spent a nice evening together and enjoyed each other's company, which was very nice.

I'm alone now, and I don't feel like I should be in a relationship. I am a student andValentine's Day I received beautiful messages but also a chocolate and a letter from a girl who likes me! I just sympathize with her and I appreciate her for everything she does! Gifts are not so important, they are just for attention, the feelings and thoughts that you express matter!

I surprised my partner on Valentines day for a dinner date since it was already quite for some time now that we do not see each other because we are both busy in our respective works. I set up a certain dinner in a particular restaurant and I've made it exclusively for us so that she will be touched and be surprised. I maybe spending some huge money from it but I think it is really worth it since we both enjoy the date and it was really a very special day for her. I was been planning that date last year and I am happy that I successfully made it and really make her happy even in a single day. It is also a way to show my love and gratitude for my partner who had been with me through thick and thin.

I've always baked a cake for Valentine's Day for my husband. I also try to cook something special assuming I'm not too busy. That has pretty much always been our way to celebrate the day. If my husband has the day off, he has cooked for me instead. This year he picked up a bottle of Japanese plum wine for me because I had mentioned something about it a few days prior. It's just a day to do something nice to show the people you love that you're tnking about them. No need for anything fancy, though once in a while it can be nice.

I prepared a special dish on Valentines Day this year and my boyfriend praised my cooking. I love to give my closed ones personalized gifts and this year I made a card for my boyfriend. I also gifted him a shirt which he wanted to buy for a very long time and he was surprised when he received it. I am glad that he loved those gifts. After dinner, we went to the beach and we had a nice time there. I am glad that we were finally able to spend some time together.

This year was easy for me to buy a gift for my wife on Valentines Day. Her cell phone broke and I bought her another one, it is a Huawei P Lite, she could not believe I bought her a new phone, I was so proud to see the happiness on her face.
Of course, I bought her some flowers too.

Last Valentine's I gave myself a treat because no one did. You mentioned loved ones and I love myself. Hahaha. But really, I gave my best friend some chocolates and my mom a Valentine card and again, chocolates. To be honest, the chocolates that I gave them was the extras that I bought for myself. But no one no knows that except for me and you, the person reading this.

Well, I kinda surprised her this time. After I fetched her from work, I told her that we would go to our place. As we were heading there, I acted that I inputted the wrong address on waze and that we were lost. So I told her that let's just go anywhere. Little did she know, I planned this all along. I told her that we'll just eat at the nearest place available but it was actually one of the high rated resto in our country. As we sat to this place, I already talked to the waiters that once we sit, they would bring flowers to her. As she received the flowers, she cried. LOL. After we ate, I instructed the band to sing our favorite song. It was the most romantic moment in my life.

Last year the valentines gift that I give to my partner was a gold necklace with a perfect partner of a gold ring. I just want to make her happy during those times because i know that it was a very especial day to her. I am trying my best to make my partner happy even in just simple ways. I know that women really loves to receive such gift that is why I save a lot of penny just to have those precious gift to her, and I saw that she was very happy to have those gifts. I cant really imagine how happy she was on that day.

I am happy single here. I don't have boyfriend and I don't have valentines gift during Valentines day but I can give my heart to the man who have been part of my life for 9 years. He is my family friend but I am still waiting for him until he finish studying but I am afraid to and still want to decide if I still wait for him or not. I am afraid because after he graduate, he will gonna have another responsibility for our country. Being in a military is not easy so I'm in doubt.

I think I would start saving today for my next Valentine's Day Present. I'm thinking of buying a jewelry set for my wife, I haven't given her any jewelry since we got married so I think next Valentine's I'm going to surprise her with a nice and expensive set. And along with the kids will just eat out.

Unfortunately, my guy and I were apart this Valentine's day. Due to job issues, we were in different states. Anyway, I found a way to make it, and sent him a gift. He loves some specific cupcakes from a very specific place, just from the state where he's from, so I had to make the magic worked, ordered a very cute box full of those delicious cupcakes, decorated with his favorite designs, and made them get to his door. His surprise face was gargantuan!

I haven't date any guy for this year instead I just focus my attention to myself and of course to my family. They served as my inspiration and with that I would really love to do an effort for them by creating diy gifts and crafts. I remember last time I gave them a bouquet of paper roses and I also bought some cakes from red ribbon. They appreciate what I did for them and I was so happy because they loved the flowers I created.

My valentines gift for my boyfriend is a small pig stuff toy which I bought two pieces for just a dollar. I saw them on a street and it caught my attention. It is cute and adorable. My boyfriend used to call me a pig not because I am fat but because I really love to eat. That is why I decided to buy it. From a small budget, I also created a small valentine card with a hand written letter inside. And I saw how happy he was, that eventhough it is some kind of cheap stuff, he appreciated it. I'm so lucky to have a guy who appreciates my small effort with lesser amount to spend.

speaking of gifts, this valentines was extraordinary. I mean, I made actually fantastic gifts, for instance, my mother has always wanted to fly to Europe and visit all historical places, I gave her that opportunity. My daddy has always wanted to receive huge gifts, which are designed well and are massive, so I got him a basket full of beer from jetgiftbaskets alongside their trip with mommy to Europe. He was so excited and full of emotions, it was one of his dreams as he has birthday exactly on valentines, which is really special for him. So, I guess, I impressed them and gave them one of the most emotious celebrations ever!

To guess with a gift, it is very important to learn more about the desires and interests of your significant other. My husband and I love live music and new emotions. Therefore, concert tickets are one of the most successful gifts
