    Do Use Youtube To Promote Your Business?

    Whether it is an online business or a brick or mortar store, it is possible to use youtube to get more sales. For those who already have a blog and have seen it drive your sales up you can use what you already have to get even more sales because youtube users may not even know your blog exists. 

    How to do it?

    It's rather simple. Re-purpose all articles that are of informative nature into tutorials of sorts. Many people would rather watch a video showing them how something is done rather than read about how it is done. 

    Now promote your youtube channel all over the net, and as your audience grows, you'll start asking people to visit your blog for more information about something - anything relevant will do -  and once they land there, get them to buy something!

    Same. I only use YouTube for entertainment purposes and for informative stuff like tutorials and documentaries. Never thought of it as a platform for selling tho. But for big companies with brands, I believe they're using prominent vloggers to promote their products by giving them samplers to try and give reactions to.

    True. Although it needs a bigger capital especially when you're sponsoring a video or a vlogger. However, I have heard of those wise businesses that only send freebies to vloggers for them to create reviews and to also have a content, so it's basically a win-win situation for both the seller and the vlogger. However, you can't do the same thing with prominent vloggers because they will definitely give honest opinions may it be good or bad especially if you just only give them freebies (but not all, I believe).

    Yes, true. Big companies like e-commerce or online shops used this platform to promote there services. Not only these kind of businesses, in filming also that promote their advertisements and movies in Youtube. Sometimes they use trailers to tease audience and that makes them have more viewers.

    True. A lot of films nowadays especially the independent ones do not advertise on mainstream TV channels nowadays but instead they release their trailers on YouTube. However, the sad part is only those films created by mainstream film companies are able to advertise their trailers while independent films and some small and medium film companies only rely to the shares or the word of mouth of the viewers, although it's not that very possible specially if the movie is not that very catchy or does not offer anything special.

    Yes this is sad true. We can't do anything about that as its the reality but yeah its not possible though. Small businesses or those companies who just started their small business used to rely on shares while big ones, they pay large amount since it's already existed long time.

That's why small companies tend to focus more on getting loyal customers and potential investors instead of expanding their horizons so that they can gather more funds to advertise themselves on the mainstream media such as social media sites like YouTube. However, I actually think that sometimes it's useless to advertise on YouTube especially if your ad could be skipped because a lot of viewers nowadays tend to skip ads instead of watching it.

    Yeah you are right. People tend to skip those advertisement but I have seen some advertisement that can't be skip but it only takes 3 to 5 seconds duration. I think that ad is kind of expensive.

    Yes, there's at least 3 ads that are non skip-able for every 10 ads on a YouTube video and they are definitely short and expensive because it's kind of actually taking away the rights of the users to have an option (the same rights that made YouTube a major preference for the majority of the population than watching on TV with so many ads). However, I still think that paying more for those ads are useless because you actually still have a choice to skip them by going back to the previous page and then click the same video again just to avoid the ads.

    Yes, you can share your talent by showing it to them. For example, if your an artist, it doesn't mean you're promoting yourself so that people will come to buy or offer you some services but no. It depends on you if you want it that way but there are some folks who just want to share their talent like sharing their artwork to social media thru groups or pages they owned.

    Exactly. YouTube has become too strict because of the influx of vloggers and other YouTubers in the past year and on this year. That's why they changed a lot of their policies like the number of subscribers that a YouTube vlogger should reach before earning monetization and also the number of streaming hours. Furthermore, YouTube has become too large that it's kind of a hassle to search for other channels besides the ones that you always watch.

    Definitely. It depends on you and what is comfortble to use. Having a decent social media platform is enough for promoting something. For example Pinterest if you want to showcase your photography.

    It most definitely can. I've seen some low quality videos on youtube that were made to advertise games. The channels have numerous subscribers and I'm sure that though the quality of the videos isn't that great, a number of the gamers who learn about new games may click on the link provided by the vlogger and . . .

    At the very least you could make some money from ads as long as your videos get lots of views.

    It's why everybody should try making some videos about products they sell.

    Making a video about a product make generate more click on your link than just making any animation video because people wants to see who they are buying the product from and ask questions on comments which needs urgent answers.

    Same. I haven't heard of any online sellers who tried selling their products on YouTube but this is a great idea. A lot of the online sellers I know also use Facebook and Instagram to promote their products. I guess I'll have to inform them about this idea.

    I have actually came across those YouTubers that does promote their affiliate links but I never thought that that could also be a form of selling something/product. But yes, promoting links is definitely a good strategy but I don't think this will work for other products especially that almost all of the affiliate links I've come across with are all about links that will also help viewers to gain income like for cryptocurrency mining bots and etc.

Utilizing social media platforms is a must these days, and it’s a reason why so many big businesses constantly ask to “like us on Facebook,” or “follow us on Twitter,” and all that other social media jargon.

    Sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are more useful for promoting businesses because content is more shareable. People still do share content on YouTube, but not nearly to the degree that it’s done on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

    If you have the time, could you elaborate particularly on how Twitter helped you promote your business/content? I’m not asking for any other reason besides the fact that I’ve personally never used Twitter, so I’m not all that familiar with the ins and outs, and why it would be particularly more effective than something like Facebook or Instagram.

    I know that it’s a great platform for sharing things but I’d like to know the technicalities of why you think it was more effective for you than say Facebook.

Business owners should really have to take advantage of this media in order to attract more potential customers.     I agree that providing content on youtube is much difficult compared to an ordinary blog because it is not enough that you have just captured your video. You have to do some video editing which take lots of time before publishing it to your channel. Unlike a blog that you can finish a content in just a couple of hours, in videos sometimes it is necessary to go outside to shoot in a location that will suit to your topic.

    You should try to venture into it. One thing that I have also understood is that once your channel is popular, many people will get to read about it and want to get better with it. It is something that is pretty nice and good to try out when you are looking at having more sales through this method.

    I have not used youtube for promoting the services and products. You can see that promoting the business through the videos is a good start. But the people on the receiving end needs to be seeing things with keyword too. I think business promotion needs to be done through the right channels though. And you have to use influencer in that case.

    Video marketing via youtube is very effective, however, in order to to that you need to have a of subscribers and gain a lot of views. If you are not an influencer, it is difficult to get views. Video marketing is very effective, however, like you I am yet to start youtube video marketing. In order to create videos, you need to have video making skills or can pay the people to create videos for you.Both options are not available to me at the moment.

    Yes it seems like so. But my computer can't handle the video production and effects. At the most I can record some of the videos through the youtube channel for say streaming games or so. But effects and stuff with something like filmora app is not easy.

    You can also use facebook for video marketing and I think it is easier to reach the wide audience through your video on facebook compared to youtube. Youtube off course get tons of traffic, however, diverting that traffic to your video is quite difficult. However, on facebook you are promote your video through boost feature an reach the wide audience.

    Well, I think Youtube promotions can be very useful particularly for the online business of any kind. However, for small-scale offline business, I am not sure how effective and useful Youtube can be to market them. First of all the owner must be able to create a professional video Marketing his business which I guess will be the first and the biggest hurdle in this regard.     I never tried. I think it will be lucrative to advertise products on youtube. A lot of people watch youtube now. Before buting cosmetics I actually look at reviews of the vloggers. I think sponsoring a vlogger can be helpful to a business. One business can also start a YouTube channel so they can shoe the efficacy of their products.

    I agree. Sponsoring a youtube channel could also be a great idea. They will be the one to promote your site and you can just send out some items that they could use for their videos or maybe pay them in terms of money. On that way, you can have your site promoted with those channels who already have a lot of subscribers.

    It's just that many people as yet aren't sure they can sell anything on youtube. It doesn't need one to be that good at persuading people to buy what they are selling.

    I've seen many youtubers ask those who've watched their videos to subscribe - that is marketing.

    So why not ask the viewers to visit the site where you are selling something they could buy? It could appear like you won't get a response but the only way to find out is by actually doing it.

    I actually tried it before but I ran out of materials. I guess that is a downside if you made your channel do a specific thing. Plus I find it too time consuming so I haven't made new videos recently. But I do agree that they do boost your sales as it widens your market.

    This is a good strategy to get more traffic for your blog. Another good thing here is that you can connect more to your audience as youtube now offers a live video streaming. You could use that to promote more of your blog and answer questions from them making them feel connected to you. You can also incorporate your youtube video to your blog by sharing the link in your blog and vice versa. On that way, when you already have reached the minimum requirements of Youtube to be able to get paid, you can have another platform that you could use to earn money. It is like promoting yourself by using other sites.

    You know, I haven't gone down that route so far, but I feel like it's ultimately the way of the future when it comes to promoting oneself or a business. You only have to look at the success of YouTube influencers to see there's a big market there - with plenty of space for everyone.

    Well, while I currently don’t own any sort of business, this is definitely a strategy I would use to promote it.

    I actually have a plan to make a business out of a blog I’m working on, and I intend to use YouTube in order to help promote the content. A lot of websites these days feature written articles, but they also have videos to accompany the content, so that is exactly what I intend on doing myself.

    I have the writing skills necessary, but also the filming and editing skills as well, so it’s just a matter of putting in the time and work. Thanks to my experience I don’t really need to invest much money, just time.

    It looks like it is easy to earn money from youtube but nowadays earning subscribers is hard. The competition is too tight and the algorithm is getting complex and complex by the day. Also I can observe that youtube nowadays is hard for individual and small channels. Youtube tends to support big networks and corporation than individual channels. However, I will still promote my business via youtube because it is still a good platform to expand my business horizon.

    Not yet but it is a possibility taht I cannot rule out. I always belief that a business should go to teh extreme lengths when trying to maximizetheir productivity and growth which includes having to rely on online platforms of marketing.

    Youtube advertisement is another good avenue one can engage to market or promote one's blog, ware or product. I believe it is more engaging compared to other traditional ways of advertising as audiences can read, listen, give comments and most importantly can repeat the message many times. If the content is of interest to the readers, I usually post a link to my blog or website below the video in the comment section or directly in the video. That can generate more traffic to my blog.

    Sometimes in the past I would just include some promotions or simple short adverts as well as links to my YouTube comments but if you mean promoting my business in my own YouTube channel, the answer is no. I don't have a YouTube channel yet but I'm planning to put up one soon.

    This is an avenue I am seriously considering for my books. I have done Facebook Live for other things and found it fairly easy to make a presentable video. It could be a very good addition to my publicity campaign for the singles book if I ever get it formatted.

    I agree that most people would rather watch content then read it. This is because, you can watch a video on something while relaxing. The problem I have with using Youtube is that , it is difficult to get your videos watched. They are many tutorials on how to do this. It may be more difficult then Facebook or Instagram. Remember Youtube is like a search engine, we all know how hard it is to get ranked on Google. I don't like paid ads but if you want Youtube to work for you, this is what you may have to do.

    I think that the only advantage when advertising at YouTube our business is that we can gain worldwide recognition because of being popular of the site all over the world. We can easily make a lot of traffics on our business if we will just be providing better products and services compare to our competitor so that will make other people more motivated to have and patronize our business.

    In promoting your business in Youtube, you just have to do it the most indirect way as possible. Most people will just get turned off once they know what your intentions are truly are. Making video tutorials is just one way of doing so another way is also making a third person review of products or services that is somehow connectes to your business.

    I think if we don't have much knowledge on promoting our business at YouTube then I think we should hire someone to do that for us. It is mainly because not all people are able to advertise correctly their business to YouTube because it really needs a lot of work and patience to do it.

    Platforms like Youtube, Instagram and Facebook (and maybe twitter) is a great place to promote your business. I believe it has a great factor on having new potential customers. One of my friend spends a good amount of money per month for Facebook and he still earns much more than. He is now considering Youtube as well, which I think will boost sales as well.

    If you're going to advertise your brand or business on YouTube through a video or commercial, you have to have the logistics worked out. Who's going to produce, design and make the commercial? Will it be animated or feature real people? If it's the latter - will that person be you or a hired actor? Lots of things to figure out first.

    I don't have a business to promote on Youtube but I think Youtube is a good way to introduce your business. With millions of people who watch Youtube videos, increasing your sales is possible. You just need to have a good strategy so that a lot of people will be able to watch your video. The higher number of views the higher chance of getting sales.

    I think any social platform could be used for promoting businesses as long as it is allowed. Youtube is one of the most famous platform. The thing with Youtube is that it already has it's viewers and most of the people know how to navigate and use this platform. Even a kid could ask his/her mom for a toy he/she just saw on Youtube so I believe it is a great way to promote whatever kind of business you are trying to offer. Aside from that the site is available almost anywhere in the world not only locally so it is a really good choice.

    Although it is not easy to make a video much more a video about your business, I have to agree that video promotion is now getting popular in the internet. Even in blogging there is the thing called vlogging that instead of the written text you just use the video. We have an issue with Adsense because our Youtube channel has not reached the minimum number of required subscribers for now that maybe when we start earning again we may use our Youtube channel for the video promotion of the business.

    This is a very good idea, thank you for sharing. To be honest, I didn't think that YouTube videos could promote my business before. I actually have a business page on Instagram, but I think if I shoot a few YouTube videos and put a link on my Instagram page, my clients will like it.     Hahaha. The moment someone asks a genuine question about any type of promotion, Indians selling fake views, likes, comments is in the comments. If someone considers buying it- just know it will get your channel shadowbanned or banned. You can achieve way more with free tolls like tags tool for youtube . Take a look, it's almost all you need.
