Most annoying part of winter?

The most annoying part of winter for me is the cold weather and how it dries out my skin. I don't like dry skin or red cheeks. Other than the cold weather, the bleak ground is also very depressing to look at. I just want to feel the sunshine on my skin and see green grass on the lawn.

The cold weather gives me headaches, especially if I forget to wear my slippers on the cold floor. Also, my teeth hurt more in the winter time.

We only get snow once every few years and then it's a beautiful white bliss all over the lawn for a few days. Very lovely!

You should be where I live if you like snow. We got so much this year that a friend had to climb out her 2nd story window just to get out of her house. Everyone got buried in snow here. It's the middle of April and I still can't find my sportscar in the driveway except for a small bit of yellow sticking out of the white stuff it's buried under. Yuck.

I wish there were a good part of winter. Maybe the only part I can think of would be the crisp weather. I like standing on my porch and breathing the cold morning air. That is so easy to breath. Not like summer time where it's too hot and muggy and hard to breath, even outdoors.

Dry, cracked lips. And, nothing I do makes it any better. I am not happy when it's winter and my skin and lips chap in that way.

It's the cold that drives me nuts, it bothers me so much that I really can't sleep. I have serious problem falling asleep or sleeping well in cold weather.

I would shiver all throughout the night, the only thing that would help me out to sleep during such high cold is a good long cuddle and sex.

Winter is coming. I am from Nepal. Nepal is a country where world tallest mountains are situated. Eight of the 14 world tallest mountains are in Nepal, including Everest and Annapurna. However, in Nepal I live in the southern belt where it does not snow in the winter and the Summer average temperature is around 34 degree Celsius. It does not snow in my place, however, in the winter my place is prone to cold wave. Cold wave is a situation when sun does not shine for days, it is foggy and misty.

Well, my country in Africa is great with a good weather, so we hardly experience with winter apart from rainy season and a bit of Hamathan.It always cold then but it always under control.When once one takes hot tea and wears warm clothes then one is good to go.I just love our climatic condition the weather is very friendly.

There are no winter season in our country. But as I see some news about the countries that have winter season, for me, the most annoying part is when there are a lot of snow everywhere. Cars can use and houses are surrounded by snow. Just think the struggles of it. But snow have some fun sides also like making some snowman.

Black ice. For those unaware of what Black ice is - it gets its name from being unnoticed by pedestrians and drivers during or after snowstorms. When it snows, the temperature normally drops and causes the snow to freeze or any rain or wet snow that came before to freeze. As the snow accumulates it covers up the frozen precipitation. Hence the term Black ice. People walking down the street won't see the frozen areas and are subject to having horrible slips and falls. Drivers meanwhile will spin out or even worse while they're driving - after coming across this unseen threat beneath their wheels.

Personally, I hate the winter, and the worst part of the winter is when it starts to snow for the first time that is the time when the season is changing and the cold weather install itself.
