Is selling of second hand books allowed here?

I have loads of second hand books, some fiction and loads of text books.

The text book are the prescribed text books for UNISA (University of South Africa) for BCom and LLB.

All the books are in a good condition.

If I am allowed to sell those second hand books on ListingDock I suppose I would have to make a new listing for each one?

Or possibly I could group a few textbooks together based on the subjects they are for?

I could maybe do the same for the fictional books since alone they wouldn't fetch much of a price?

Has anyone sold any second hand goods here?

Hi Lynne - I have checked on this issue and to the best of my knowledge you have permission to sell used books. All other applicable TOS and rules apply even to sale of physical/used products as they would digital services/downloads. Thank you Beverly, yes I had a read through all the TOS and I didn't see anything saying I couldn't sell any second hand goods.

I will see how I can work that!

That's great news that we are allowed to sell used books here!

There's a really neat bookstore nearby that offers tons books at discounted prices. I can get books for $0.25 and resell them online for more. However, there is an issue of who exactly wants the books? I tried to resell books on eBay, and other alternatives but had no success so I just quit. I wonder what is the popular niche in regards to book sales? Probably vampire books? Who knows! Also, the other issue is shipping. Sometimes the shipping can cost more than the book is worth, so you have to be very clever on how to proceed.

Yes Everett that is the problem I am sitting with, the shipping. Books are heavy which is a problem.

Oh my gosh you have a second hand bookshop where you can get books for $0.25.. I would love that!

We are sitting with loads of text books right now and I have been trying to sell them for ages but the problem is that we are in a small town so it is not likely there will be loads of people needing those specific books.

I managed to sell a few but not many.

I have seen so many people selling second hand items here and I don't actually see the reason why you can't sell second hand items in here. This place is also good for selling stuffs, like anything from awesome to weird or even the gnarliest thing, as long as it is a good stuff and people here would totally love it.

I think it allowed here for anyone to sell second physical stuff and I think books are inclusive, so you can go ahead and list them you can also try eBay as well .you can also sell old physical stuff there.

Wait a second, you mean I can also sell physical things here like comic books, manga, graphic novels, jewelry and other items????

All this time i thought this site was only for digital items.
