Did you see Luke Cage on Netflix? What do you think about the special effects?

Im not sure if you guys have heard about Luke Cage on Netflix. I you have not heard about it you need to get it on Netflix as soon as possible. It's about a character who lands himself in jail the twist is the jail is no ordinary jail they do scientific testing on the inmates. Basically he breaks out of jail and finds refuge in Harlem New York. Than shortly after things get interesting. I don't want to reveal to much about the story but i will say this its one of the best series i have seen yet from marvel. The episodes where so good that it actually made Netflix Crash because so many people wanted to stream it at the same time. If you have seen it i would like to know what you think if not get on Netflix and watch it. The special effects are insane i wonder how they accomplished this and what editing tools they used for video. Do you think they used green screens or what? When you edit videos what program do you use and why? I Like to use Final Cut Pro if you get familiar with IMovie its really easy to learn.

I am watching Luke Cage but not on Netflix, I'm a cheap bastard and I downloaded from torrent and watch it on my tv. I watch it up to episode No. 5 and by now I am captivated. I don't really want to rush because the winter is coming and I have to save something for it.

What I can tell you is that besides the story and the fact that he is a Superhero, i really really like the soundtracks. I mean, the guy that handles the music in the series deserves all the respect that he can get.

Regarding the series itself, I would place it somewhere along with Daredevil and Jessica Jones although Jessica is a badass and much more good looking than Cage. It has a nice action and I will definitely recommend it to my friends even though they don't really enjoy tv series.

I agree don't rush it like i did i finished it in 2 days lol! I recommend you take it in doses and reflect back and really take the time to soak it in. Cheap or not its all good boss as long as you get to see it. Daredevil is a different breed of hero and he is not bullet proof. Luke Cage is one of the best shows out and even if your friends don't watch TV series i have a feeling they will be happy if they make the exception for this one. Oooh I can't get access to Netflix in South Africa, not unless I have a VPN anyway... I haven't heard of Luke Cage but I will see if I can get hold of it to check it out.

i have only caught bits and pieces of a few epidosdes. i think they did a super good job from what i saw on the graphics and special affects. i was so surprised to see online that netflix was actually crashing because of so many viewers, thats pretty insane if you ask me! thanks for sharing jkeyz!!

I have watched Luke Cage to the very end and I can boldly say that it's an interesting series, thinking of how he was set up and ended up in jail was tense. Then being used by the wadern to make his own extra cash in the cage fight, Luke was quite a force to reckon with until he messed with the warden and got really beat up by Shade and some other inmates.

After that, Luke almost died from the beating until his friend psychologist in the prison whom he had several session with made the prison doctor to try one their experiments on him and things went side way as the wadern interrupted the process but eventually Luke had been affected by that experiment which turned him into am indestructible human being.

He definitely tried to use his new power to do good in his town Harlem but there was lots of people gunning for him but at the end he was quite successful to a reasonable extent. The movie was a nice one.

i didn't see all the episode but i can say that the graphics animation is great and the background sounds is nice i stop watching this whole episode due to some heavy work load no time to watch but this coming holidays i am planning to finish this series.
