What's your favorite name for a girl?

Hi. I know this is a bit random but I was just talking to someone about names for a girl as my friend is expecting to have a baby girl. And I said a name that I would name my own child (if it was a girl) and she was like, oh wow that's a nice name I think I'll call her this. I was like, okay, steal my baby name much! Just joking about of course. But the name I like the most is "Natalia".

I think it's a really pretty name. Little does she know, this name was inspired by the little Natalia Korda in the Resident Evil game and movie LOL

Anyway, what are some of your favorite names for a girl that you like the most?

Tell me some nice names. What

Thanks!

Me and my boyfriend were talking about girls names a while back. I asked him what girls names he likes and he asked me what girls names I liked. I have always had a list of girls names I have always loved. Samantha is one of them, that is also my middle name but if I ever had a baby and it was a girl I would consider using the name Samantha. Another name I really like for a girl is Chloe which would be considered if I chose not to use Samantha.

I love Stella and Dianne. I don't know but I find them really cute and I feel like they are not widely used unlike other names. There is a good way to get cool names whether it's a girl or boy - use game character names! What Well since I am a gamer, I would definitely suggest that. But if you are into something aside from gaming, and you feel like that character or name is unique, why not give it a shot.

I love godly names for my kids because some sweet names like Linda,Belinda etc has scary meaning.

in my country we believe there's more to a name that just what we call.A name should be a blessing than something else.

So I like biblical names like Mary,Martha,Miriam,Blessing, love etc.

Well that is also your opinion and we should respect that too. It's just a matter of what your beliefs are in regards to names. It is rare for me to really believe on what the name means or something. I mean, I can name my kid Maleficent or Nosferatu and I think it's cool. We live in a modern era now and we shouldn't really mind what the name means in terms of it's scary meanings or something. ;d

It's hard for me to think one but if I'm going to choose where I will get names, it is the names of the anime girl characters. I am a fan of anime so maybe I'll go for Sakura of Naruto Shippuden and Asuna of Sword Art Online. There names for me symbolizes strength and love because like for Sakura, she wants Sasuke but Sasuke leaves the town and later on he became the enemy of their town. Sakura did not give up on believing that Sasuke will comeback soon. For Asuna, even in a virtual game, she shows her love to Kirito on what she feel and it is not fake. The love she feels is not only for virtual world but also in real world.

Not any favorite one, but for sure I wouldn't choose any name that is already on my family. Also, I don't like those names where parents make a "creative" combination of 2-3 different names, or they name all the family members starting on a certain letter. I would say I'm more classic, so a short easy to write name is good for me. Something like Emma, Ava, Lydia seems perfectly fine.

There's a lot of a girl's name in this world. And it hard to pick one as one of your favorite name for a girl. I'm also in this kind of dilemma before, when I I was busy night dreaming of my future children if ever I get married, I was hardly thinking of a name, and I decided to pick Xenian out of the hundred list of the name. I feel like it's kinda unique.

I would say the name Angel would definitely fit a girl’s name. When you hear this kind of name it just gives you the good vibes, blue skies and heaven. I once heard someone told the other parents that it’s really a nice name, simple yet angelic name.

I cannot place a hand on giving a particular name to a girl child but names such as Prisca, Maryann and Angelina are wonderful names I would give to my daughters simply because I like those names. However, I am certain to name my first daughter, Queeneth which is the name of the first lady I ever fell in love with. I think all female names are just cute though we've got preferences about them.

I prefer the name Margaux. It's very cool name for a girl and powerful. I suggest you put two names so that your daughter never have the same name. My problem with my name is that I've been hit at NBI, meaning someone does have the same name as me who has a case. It will give you a hard time to clear your name and get an NBI clearance. It's just my two cents.

I told myself that if I'm going to have my first daughter, I will name her Aliah or Althea. As of now, I am still single so I dont know if I will be able to use those names.

I have no specific favorites but I usually like any name that's exotic. I have never been a fan of plain names that you've heard a hundred times before. I think a girl with a unique name, an interesting name, will bless her to do different and interesting things in the future with her life. I am a big believer that names set or chart a course for a persons future. The more unique the name, the higher the chances of the person being a leader, an 'individual...' and not a clone or follower.

I love classic and exotic names. In as much as I would love the name to sound pretty, I also want it to mean something beautiful.

I have got this app where I search for pretty names, there's a whole lot of cute names but I haven't been able to come up with one except for "Benazir " it means unique.

The best name for a girl for me is "Aiko" is a Japanese name which means "little loved one". I like the sound of the name and also where it has meaning of being loved. Names are very important to people because it is one of things that make people differ from one another. I hope I would be able to give this name to a baby with a loving heart and always takes care of the people who loves the him/her.

Choosing my favorite name for a girl is pretty like choosing a name for your baby girl. My favorite girl name is Lily. The name for me resembles cuteness of those who possess it. I also like its figurative manifestation. Lily is a flower that inhabits on a lake with the use of its pads. It strongly suggests independence and uniqueness. Its beauty is emphasized because of its solitude which makes lily visually outstanding. Independence, uniqueness and outstanding comprised the kind of woman I really admire. So my answer's Lily.

My first girlfriends name is "Abbey". Though we are not together anymore. I think i'd keep my daughters name "Abbey". And that's the name I would say would be good. Not sure about the future. But for now it does not seem to be much issue with the name. My current girlfriend is not into kids. Otherwise I'd have had that name for my daughter. Let's say what happens. Things may surely change and who knows I may be able to use that name.

I like that, because it is how it’s spelled for the Beatles album. If I ever have kids, I would like to give them names that have some significance to the Beatles. I also love the name Rita, and that is in a song from their “Sgt. Pepper’s...” album (“Lovely Rita”).

Sounds like a good idea. I never thought about beatles reference. I remember Abba group reference and also john wayne's songs reference in some of the kids names. But that could be intentional in some cases.

I like many names but to pick one I'd have to check the meaning behind them and if it's not only a "fashionable" name. My name is quite popular but at school there weren't many other girls with the same name and I think that's the best situation. I don't like names that are too common,

I like naming a child Esther because of her life and legacy in the bible. Esther happened to be a Jew who suffered so much and was rejected and dejected without anyone to assist or help out. Esther was such a female child who came from a poor background and couldn't put food on the table, but God vindicated her at last. When it was time for her to step up in life, God took her to the palace to become a queen. Esther, a miserable child became a queen in the palace. That's why I love to name a child Esther, though I haven't been able to give birth to a female child.

Jackline is also a nice name. Evelyne, Becky, Loice and maybe Juliet. But Mildred will always be my favorite. Mildred means gentle strength. I admit I love it because it is my name but all females called Mildred are humble girls.

I was lucky enough that my wife liked the name that I wanted for our daughter, and we really lucked out that a lot of celebrities with the same name as hers got really famous after we named our child Zoe. Zoe Saldana is the bomb and Zooey Deschanel had her good run at superstardom. Next up will be Zoe Kravitz, yes Lenny's daughter.

My favorite baby names of all times are Jasmine, Karla, Madison and Eva. I simply adore these names. It's amazing how each name has its own meaning, and can even be somehow linked to the way we perceive the world, the way we act, the way we think, imagine and dream. I know a lot of names have spiritual meanings behind them, especially those related to various religions from around the world. Some baby names can be used for girls, some can be used for boys and some can be used for both. Kind of like the name, Sam or Ashley that can work both for parents trying for a girl or a boy. They can be both boy names and girl names.
