Do you create your own decorations for Easter?

I am not someone who decorates for Easter however I know a few people that do and a lot of the time they use decorations that they create themselves and some of them are quite amazing, they are definitely not something I could create myself.

Things such as Easter Egg buntin and even Easter Bunny buntin are ones I have seen used in friends homes for Easter and they look great when they are put up.

Do you decorate for Easter? Would you ever consider creating your own decorations or have you created your own decorations?

Homemade crafts and decorations are always preferable to anything you can buy in the store as they are made with love. And, home crafting gives you a chance to get your children involved in the artsy side, rather than the candy consuming side of the holidays. I love homemade crafts but haven't been able to craft in a while due to time constraints. At one point, I was really into crochet and decoupage. Not really sure what you can make with those crafts that are Easter related. Maybe Crochet bunnies and chickens? I bet those would be really nice sellers at craft fairs and even online just before Easter time. I might consider that for future holidays.

While I haven't really been into creating my own decorations for most of my life, I've picked up on the hobby ever since I moved into a rural home. I suppose that rustic living changes a person. It used to be that I would only paint eggs with simple colors for Easter, but recently I've started painting many intricate designs on them, and have thought about maybe making wooden ones that can be put out each Easter. A lot of my friends and family have asked me to paint some for them as well, so maybe I could even start selling them at some point.

In our home we do not celebrate or decorate for Easter, but in my classroom I decorate for every holiday that I can, including Easter. I like to use a combination of store bought and handmade decorations, no matter what the occasion. I don't like to spend a lot of money on the decorations, so I generally pick up a few new things at either the Dollar Tree or local thrift stores. Another strategy is I wait until the holiday has ended, then I scour stores for deeply discounted leftovers. These three options also help supply me with things I can use for homemade decorations. A variety of knick-knacks can be combined together to make a lovely wreath or wall display.

l and the kids like decorating our home, it not necessarily for events or celebration.it could be weekends or if their friends will be coming over.I love my home to always look and feel warm and cozy.

For easter and Christmas celebration,we take the decoration a notch higher with all the decorative pieces and art.The kids wouldn't rest until everything is settled. it always fun during decorative session.

My wife is always decorating for Easter, and the decoration items are made by her and our son. They color eggs, and create paintings with rabbits and eggs, they make our house to look nice and full with colors. Napkins with rabbits or eggs, baskets made by hand, lights, and songs are all making our Easter a happy holiday!

Not a very gifted person for Easter, and honestly my country doesn't celebrate it in a very commercial way, but I have a small group of kids studying English with me, so we make some craft work eventually. They have made some decorations for Halloween and Christmas, and last year we colored eggs for Easter season, honestly not our best job, but for sure we had fun with it.

Shortie861,
Like you I don't prepare decoration or let we say I don't really celebrate Easter Day. It's a long weekend vacation before Easter so I am busy spending my vacation somewhere else with my family. That long holiday is the only chance that I have to relax. However, If we go to place where there are people celebrating Easter, my kids join egg hunting for fun.

I am not working on decoration for easter at home since we're not really celebrating it that much but I'm glad to it because it's a holiday. However, I'm always helping in my class preparing decoration in the classroom. We are coloring eggs, putting designs on walls and other things for easter. We also enjoy joining egg hunting.

Myself and my children love all of the holidays and there is no exceptions when it comes to the Easter holiday. Making our own decorations is how we spend time and have fun enjoying each other. I make sure that we spend a great deal of time making our own decorations for most holidays. I think that it makes all of the holidays much better.

I so happen to be one decorating lady. I love making do it yourself crafts that are unique and inexpensive. I usually decorate our house for the creativity and happiness it affects my little boy. I love to decorate our garden with stuffs I've taken from movies I've seen. Usually at easter, we decorate our yard because it is such a good weather during these days and I made sure that when I do the decorations, it is environmentally friendly and can be reused again and again.

Since egg hunting is pretty upbeat in our town, We are really looking forward about it every Easter. I usually colored the eggs but I realized it might be dangerous if eaten. The chemicals might seep in from the shell. So instead of painting it, I now cover it with any colorful materials like magazines, colored papers and plastics. We do it with kids in the neighborhood it is really fun.

It's always nice having to decorate your home on celebration times especially Easters and Christmas. The feeling of actually beautifying your home by yourself, making use of your own creativity is very satisfying.

Personally, I enjoy decorating my home by myself during festive periods like Easters and Christmas. The reason for this is that doing it myself saves me cost of paying others to do it for me and also it helps to sharpen my creativity, so I always try as much as I can to improve on it by carrying out these decoration myself.

Yes. In our school, we try to limit our expenses and still try to cope up with our activities. One way of doing it is making handmade decorations using recycled raw materials. There are used colored paper, excess glues, and other waste stuffs that can be transformed to something useful through imagination and creativity. All of the decorations except the colored eggs are done using this method.

I really like to make D.I.Y decorative items. If I am not too busy for Easter then I usually make my own decorations. There are so many tutorials available online now and it can be quite easy to make. The only drawback is that it can be time consuming. I also make D.I.Y cards for Christmas. People love it when you give them personalized cards.

I would prefer to pay an interior decorator to decorate my home during Easter holiday instead of having to do so since I've not mastered the act of decorating homes at the moment.

No. We don't really celebrate this kind of event here in our household. A get together is always enough. We would only decorate when Christmas or New Year, even birthdays we don't do decorations. We are not just focused on the decorations but rather to the food and the people around us because at the end of the day we would always interact with each other and somehow nevermind the decorations.

I usually do the easy DIY glitter easter decoration. All you need for this dazzling project are eggs, glitter, white glue, washi tape, and toothpicks. Blow out the inside of brown or white eggs and let dry. Dip the eggs in the glue and sprinkle with glitter. For fun stripes and patterns, try masking the eggs with washi tape. Let's not also forget what Easter is all about. It's a great moment to gather together with your family members and be grateful to God for everything that we have in our lives. At my place, we gather every year in the kitchen where the only witness we have is the mirror splashback I bought from https://www.diysplashbacks.co.uk/mirror-splashback a few years ago. I hope we will be able to continue this tradition next year and keep it going, no matter what.

Creating your own decorations is something interesting and unique. I had some trouble decorating my kids room and I've found a really interesting idea a home planetarium. It's very cool my kids like it a lot, it brings to your room so much light and color that is fascinating. Sega Toys Homestar Flux is a very cool tool for you and for your family. I am using it for a while now and I can say it's a very interesting solution in decorating your house or room. Hope you will find my message useful and someone will use this tool for his house
