    This animal won't drink water till death

    This animal Koala never ever drink water. It fulfills it's water consumption by eating Eucalyptus leaves. This is so strange.

    They eat up to 400 grams of leaves in a day spread over in four to six times eating session.

    Do you like the koala or what do you know about it?

    I have always had a fasincation with koalas but I will admit that I have never seen one in person. I do like the koala yes and I find it a very interesting and fascinating animal, I did not know that it doesn't drink any water and only relies on Eucalyptus leaves which is again very interesting. I can see where they would get there water consumption from through those though. I'd love to be able to go and see a koala in person but right now I am living in the wrong Country to be able to do so. It may be something I add to my list of things to do!

    It always amazes me how animals are able to adapt to their environment to survive. This reminds me of the panda so much, eating bamboo, an almost inedible plant. And, so low calorie! And, yet by eating massive quantities, they can survive. I guess it's adapt or die in the animal world. You don't really have that with humans as there is usually always someone there to hand out or hand up and help that person. With animals, they just duct tape life together as they go along.

    Koalas look cute but they are pretty aggressive somehow. I have seen people getting injured because they tried to tease a koala. Always respect and handle animals with care with a professional in tow to reduce the risk of getting injured. You cannot predict what an animal would do anyway.

    how strange! koala never drinks water!! I am learning many intresting facts in this site. My goodness! I'hve found this site at the right time.

    koala is very so cute. I never saw a koala in our my local zoo, located in our town. But, I always wish to see them. I heard that they are quite aggressive, anyways they won't harm us until we tease them or try to harm them.

    Even I was unaware about this fact. This is amazing indeed. I have always loved koalas but never seen one. I would love to see one. I have watched many documentaries about koalas.

    Their cute but not much i like it.They are mamals a herbivores and their lifespan is 20 years.Koala is a nocturnal animal they sleep 18 to 20 hours because they need more energy to digest what they eat.Sleeping is the best way to conserve energy.They can eat 1kilo of leaves a day and they can select the most nutritious leaves.Koala has a very sharp claw and teeth so that they are very harmful if they are on attack.They have a pouch like kangaroo and their new born baby is in their pouch.They are cute animals and so lovable to see.

    I've always known that koalas only eat eucalyptus leaves but I didn't know koalas don't drink water. Also, koalas spend almost all day sleeping and they only wake up for eating or finding a mate to pair and if they couldn't find a mate they go to sleep again.

    That's really strange animal. Though, I don't really pay attention to our environment, especially the biology of every animal we have today. I always admire, every animal existed today, because researcher keep studying them, as long as, they won't be hurt, and to understand the way of their life.

    I find koala, as cute animal, although not recommend to pet them. They are hairy animals, which is also more suited to the place of tropical area. These animals always stayed on the tree, as also to protect themselves from predators.

    I didn't know they don't drink water, what I do know is that they love to sleep a lot they even could sleep 18 to 22 hours a day. They usually eat at nights and don't drink much water their hydration comes from the Leafs. They hug each other to regulate their temperature. I am not a fan of this animals but I think it is very curious their capacity to sleep now, I understand why people make jokes about it.

    Nice! I don't know the koala doesn't drink water, thats interesting fact. Unlike us humans, we need to drink water 8 glass a day for maximum intake for our body to replenish and to avoid dehydration especially in hot days. The wonders of nature never seize to amaze me.

    My mouth was wide open as I read that there is an animal that won't enjoy taking water till death. That is to show that there are mysteries of the world we don't really have to question. God did everything the way he likes.

    That is what exactly what I'm thinking. We never know what are nature's wonder unless God make it known to man. An animal who doesn't drink water till death is such a marvelous feat.

    I really like koalas, but unfortunately, I don't know much about them. Thank you for your post, it inspired me to learn more about koalas. And it's amazing to me that they don't drink water. It seems to me that no living creature can live more than 3 days without water. By the way, as an animal and bird lover, I want to share my story with you. To be honest, this pandemic situation has made me sad and anxious. But when I found this blog https://www.faunafeeders.com/, I found out about a great idea that made my life better. So I installed a bird feeder in my yard and watch the beautiful birds while they eat my treat.
