Who makes better burgers Burger King or McDonald's?

Both Burger King and McDonald's have fed us for a long time. Depending on which part you are from you may be better acquainted with one or the other.
One of them still has to hold the title of the best take out burger if not the world at least where you live.
I personally prefer Burgers from Burger King, It being a burger chain gives it a bit of an edge over McD. They are more experienced and have a larger menu.
Let us know in the discussion where you draw your line when it comes to the best burger in town.

I prefer Burger King because of the smokiness taste of the patty and it is big than McDonalds burger. don't get me wrong, I like also McDonalds but I must say Burger King is the best for me.

I prefer McDonalds burger for several reasons. In my country, McDonald burger is slightly larger compared to the burgers sold at Burger King.McDonalds burger has better sauces in my opinion. I feel that Burger King has good patties but the overall flavor loses to McDonalds. I also love the 'special' burgers offered by McDonald burger. My favourite has to be the Prosperity Burger. I love the peppery sauce on the patty. The twister fries together with the excellent burger makes it an awesome meal for me.

I hate eating a hamburger from McDonalds ! Burger King has MUCH better burgers, in my opinion. The ones from McDonalds are dry, and have barely any mayonnaise on them, if any at all. Burger King puts more condiments on the hamburgers, plus they use a much better quality of beef as well. Usually, they also have more condiments, like ketchup and mustard set out; so you can get more if you need ot for your burger or for fries, and they will always give you more mayo if you need that, too.
Actually, my favorite hamburger is made by Hardee's. It is larger, thicker, and just has a delicious flavor. Hardee's has good specials, too; so this is actually where we usually go when we want a good hamburger.

I agree with you, Burger King is better than Mc Donalds burger. I think because the Burger King use mozzarella cheese to their burger plus the patty is juicy, a little bit salty and a little bit spicy. Like you, I have also a restaurant that we usually visit because of their delicious burger and it's better than Burger King. I happy we have "Don Paquitos Restaurante" here serving the best burger in town.

BK for sure! they have better combos, they send promotion coupons to your mail, and their patties are way more delicious than MD. They have this grill taste, like smokey flavor, I really like. In my country, they are a little bit more expensive than MD, but is some kind of investment, because you are having a better meal.

To be fair, neither of them make the best burgers. There are hundreds of places that make much better burgers than Burger King and McDonald's. But out of the two, I have to say that Burger King makes the better burgers. Their patties just taste a lot better and like said above they always send me promotional coupons which make their burgers extremely cheap as well. I usually go to McDonald's for the McFlurry's or their wraps which are absolutely amazing. Which is quite funny actually, I don't go to McDonald's for the burgers anymore

I'll go for McDonald's burger. Here in our country, you would only see few Burger King branches, and unluckily we don't have a Burger King in our area so I only taste McDonald's burger. But I heard from my friends who have tasted Burger King they say it's better than what is in McDonald, but I really can't identify as to which is which. Maybe in the future, if I get to travel to other cities maybe I need to check out the burgers in Burger King.

I guess this is all about the decision made based on the one that you have tasted. To me, Burger King is really sweet and fulfilling when I take it not that McDonald's burger ain't good as well. It is also based on the way that I enjoy eating always. The whole scenario is all about what you have been eating and the one that you enjoy taking on a daily basis.

Well, to be sincere with you, i prefer Burger-king's burger to that of McDonald, but when it comes to comparison branding matters When someone says McDonald’s, what comes to mind? It is the golden arches? Maybe Ronald McDonald? How about the Big Mac? Yep, MickeyD’s is loaded with brand images that are embedded into the souls of Americans from a very early age, and the company’s influence has been profound.
Now let’s try it for BK. When someone says ‘Burger King’, what do you think of? Personally, I think of that freaky looking ‘King’ guy that appears to belong on some Rated-R movie. Seriously, who the heck designed that guy? Let’s put it like this, who would your child rather approach—Ronald McDonald or Freaky Burger King guy?.
Just like the Apple and some android devices, many android devices are better and more powerful than Iphones but branding matters. and Apple has it.

For me, they both offers a great burger! The only difference is Burger King focuses truly on selling burgers and McDonald's have many foods to offer to the customers. I'll try both of their burgers and if I'm giving them rate, I will give both of them a 10 rating. Both of this restaurant always satisfy my cravings for burgers and they never failed me even once. You should try both of them for you to know what I mean.

I have to agree, I think if McDonald's actually focused on their burgers they would sell well and they would probably taste extremely well. McDonald's have started to focus on differentiating their product so that they don't have to rely on burgers and I think that is a pretty good strategy. What I do when I go to McDonald's is just purchase their wrap meal and then buy one of their 99p burgers just in case I am still hungry after the meal. I can't remember the last time I bought a burger as the main meal at a McDonald's.

I like burgers by burger king because its their specialty from their name says it all. Burgers by mcdonalds is not that special but they sell more cause of the kids who love toys coupled with meals. Taste wise i recommend burger king.

I think its the Burger King because when i try it it tastes good and taste like grilled.Athough Mc Donald's is good to, but the grilled taste of patty of Burger King it makes me to love its burger.The sauces that they have is the best to, everytime i buy a burger there is always a bbq sauce on it.That makes my burger more delicious.

I would say that my favorite is McDonald's. I've been eating there since I was a kid (not often) but I can count the times that I have been to BK with one hand. McDonald's has my favorite burger that is the quarter pounder cheese burger, And I think that everybody knows that McDonald's has the best fries and their milkshakes are top-notch too.

Yes Mcdonalds is the best still in making Burgers. But i never tasted in my life Burger King i want to compare it. I am really curios because most commented Burger King as their best choice. Why i love Mcdonalds? Because they serve the tasty and yummylicious burger and as far as i know they have the largest number of burger eaters in their way how it is made. Mcdonalds will be still the best among all burgers i tasted and they have the quality that captivates customers to love them not only by their burgers but all of their foods.

Cheers to Burger king quarter pound burger. These baby can beat McDonald burger in every single way not to mention the size, weight, sauce and cheese. On the other hand, if Burger is combined with our favorite fries then it is another topic to talk about. McDonald fries are simply the best fries at affordable rate. Every serving in McDonald is better if served with fries if you ask me and make double extra large fries please. But what if Burger king quarter pound burger is served with McDonald fries will surely will make a good combination.

I prefer Burguer king, it's a expensiver than Mc Donald but the taste it's better, they are bigger and they actually look like in the picture, You go to MD and the real Burguer it's not even similar to the picture you are seeing. I prefer the fries in MD but the burguer has to be from BK.

Burger king is better. You can easily see the difference by the patties cause it's meatier. And the taste is better too. Though mcdonalds have their unique taste i think it's patties can't be compared to burger king.

I love both but I prefer Burger King burgers because they are so much bigger and yummies. The meat from Burger King is thicker than the meat from Mcdonald's. Also, the french fries are so much better and bigger. Burger King might be more expensive but it is worth it. I prefer to pay something expensive but I know I am going to be satisfied rather than buying something cheaper and at the end, it is not going to be what I was expecting.

It's Burger King off course. They focus on their burgers, concentrating all their efforts to make it more tasty and affordable. Just from the name itself, BK has already won. Well, you can't blame in choosing sides with them, because I tried McDonald's burger for many times, that's why for me, I can really say that BK is better. I can't also blame McDonald for trying to develop more products to be offered for their customers, it's a good business strategy but that is also why their attention is divided and leads to stagnancy of their burgers. In terms of quality, their at the same level for me, but I always go for the taste, and BK has a lot more to offer now and probably until the end of their days

I might be a little too bias on this since I am not a McDonald lover.I love having a Burger from the Burger King. For me, they serve the best burgers. its the taste of smokiness and the meatiness is incomparable to McDonald's. I find McDonalds too commercialized. Patties are too thing whereas Burger King is oozing with meatiness, side dishes are generously served. Though a little bit pricey but it's definitely worth it.

I think Burger King is better than McDonald's & other burger chain in terms of burgers. It is a little bit more pricey than other burger chain, but it's all worth it. Their burgers are specialized , more meaty and tasty. I think the brand name itself deserved it to be called Burger Kings.

Burger King, grilled their burgers making it to remove the extra fats on it. That is really good. Sometimes the burger from McDonalds are very salty. I find it very unhealthy.

Many of my friends prefer Burguer King, but I just don't know why. I always and take some of their food when they buy from there but I feel like Mcdonalds is just much better. Maybe it's because there wasn't a BK in my town, and all we had to eat was McDonald's and I'm just used to it, but I feel like their burguers are tastier.

McDonalds for awhile was beating Burger King in the Burger wars. They had a pretty strong selection from the Quarter Pounder with cheese, the Big Mac, the Big and Tasty burger, and their line of Angus Third Pounder burgers. Burger King had The Whopper and Whopper Jr. The Whopper is good, but at some point you need to expand the menu. Burger King also had a terribly dry chicken sandwich and fish sandwich. NOW though, like these days? Burger King OWNS McDonalds when it comes to burgers. They've added the Bacon King and Mushroom swiss King (both very delicious). Also they've improved their fish and chicken sandwiches and added the Chicken Parmesan King burger.

McDonalds meanwhile their burgers have stayed the same or gone downhill in the last few years. I still like some of their burgers (Quarter pounder for example), but when it comes to size and taste it's Burger King way ahead for now. Burger King burgers always tasted better due to being flame broiled but they were just missing more burgers than just the Whopper, and like I said those terrible fish and chicken sandwiches. Now they've improved on those 3 issues. McDonald's has even lost their edge on the McChicken sandwich which is of terrible quality these days. I still like McDonalds filet o fish sandwiches though.

I like both McDonalds and Burger king burgers, but I do prefer one over the other. I like the Burger King burgers only because McDonalds patties are so salty. I wish they would tone it down on the salt because their burgers would be way better than the ones that you get at Burger King. But I can say that no burger joint can beat the McDonalds french fries or their amazing breakfast.

I like the burger in burger king. It's satisfy my tonge and my tummy. Obviosly it is more tastier and meatier than mcdonalds. But if im in hurry i prefer Mcdonalds because they can serve the meals emmediately.

I love how Burger King beef more they grilled their burgers making it to remove the extra fats on it. They also make it a point to place fresh vegetables alongside with it, which is very healthy. They make sure that the meal is very balance.

I like burger king a lot more than mc Donalds mostly because the burgers are bigger and the drinks are plenty. We can also get a refill around here so it's a real good deal Mc Donalds burgers are always small and expensive.

Burger King all the way! Mc Donalds is not bad, however the food they offer is like typical commercial burgers, fries etc. While for Burger King King, the patties are juicy, it smells good, the fries are crispy, and I really love their onion rings. Though in my country Burger King is far expensive than Mc Donalds, but it's really worth it.

As for my experience, Zark's Burger serves the better burger but since it is not included in the situation or in the topic, I would go to burger king. Burgers in mcdonalds is like dry,they even put more sauce for you to enjoy eating it and it has common flavor that almost all of the past food have. And in burger king,I must admit that they have much better burgers because it has a lot flavors and toppings like cheese.I love 4 cheese whooper anyway.

I like the both burgers but I will vote for Burger king. Burgers in Burger King is more delicious than Mcdonald's burgers. Burgers in Mcdonalds are quite pricey also compare with the Burger King, they have great values.

I would go for Burger King! I guess its name says it all. In the Philippines, the price of Burger King is so much cheaper now than before. It is already competing with the price range of McDonald's although there are more McDonald's stores in each town so McDonald's is still more popular to people. But when it comes to the quality of the burgers, I give 10 stars to Burger King and 5 stars for Mcdonald's!

Haven't tried a burger from Burger King yet but will definitely have one, one of these days as I definitely love burgers especially the one with cheese and partner with a hot sauce. What's really famous here in the Philippines is the chain of fast food burger stalls of Angel's Burger and I think it will definitely be called the national go-to burger stands here in the near future as it offer affordably cheap but so tasty and delicious burgers. Can't remember how many times I bought already since its inception.

I think that McDonald's makes the best burgers, in fact, I like all that comes from McDonald's, especially their fried potatoes that have a taste that you will not find it somewhere else. My family favorite junk food is McDonald's from all point of view.

I love them both! And I can say they make delicious and mouth watering burgers here in town. They have different taste of burger, and price range but it's worth it. I love the cheese on McDonald's burger, while on burger king, the combination of the veggies, patty and sauce are really perfect and definitely make you full and satisfied. It's hard to choose which is better because both of them really
taste good.

Between the two I would prefer McDonald's because my tongue loves the taste of it. For me, burger king is like any other burgers that I could buy anywhere. One of the reasons is also because I love eating chicken than a beef patty. Mcdonald's serve this preference in which I am loving. It's been years that I haven't tried Burger King but I don't regret it all. Its taste is just not distinguishable from others since it tastes like any other burgers, but McDonald's has its own taste that captivates me more.

Like the majority of people, I'll say Burger King. I have done quite a bit of travelling, and I have never quite found a burger, like burger kings especially the whopper Burger. Their fries are divine, quite crispy. Mcdonalds burgers are just simply burgers no flair, no originality and they taste a bit stale. All this is reflected in the price, as they say, you get what you pay for. Most people opt for Mcdonals because of the price and convenience, not necessarily the quality.

I guess these big companies vary their products from the countries they're in. I had the privilege to taste the burgers of both these burger chains here in the Philippines and in Ireland. They differ firstly, in size, next is in the taste. If I would choose between the two, tasting for two different countries, I'd go for burger king.

Here in America taste also varies from location to location, or from franchise to franchise. One McDonald's restaurant might have food that tastes average. But the one 6 blocks over? Their menu items could be much better. It's like that with Pizza chains also. Some customers are actually getting the food you see in commercials on television. Others? Are getting a poorly cooked and prepared version of it. All depends on where you are located.

Burger king definitely makes better burgers. I find McDonalds burgers to be dry and a bit flavorless compared to Burger King. Burger Kings french fries are also much better than the McDonals one. McDonalds burgers are definitely cheaper but they are definitely not as good as the foods from Burger Kings.

@ AmieBotella, I'm completely in agreement. Both companies have outlets worldwide. Each country's products taste different because some of the ingredients are sourced locally.

I think the bread meat, chicken, chips are made locally. The seasoning is what remains the same. I also lived in England for a number of years. Wherever I travel to in the world, I never quite find the same burgers.

The same with KFC which came to my country last month. Here it tastes like cardboard. In England it was heaven.

Well if we're being completely transparent here, neither of them are that great at making burgers. The best burgers you'll ever eat are the ones you make at home.

But if I absolutely had to chose one out of the two, I think I would probably go with McDonald's. Growing up, I've always enjoyed ordering the Big Mac, because I found the Special Sauce to be particularly delicious. It was also always the most filling item on the menu for me.

On the other hand, I've been to a Burger King maybe a total of four times in my life. I simply never found anything about Burger King enjoyable. Their fries were always atrocious compared to McDonald's fries, and the burgers left a lot to be desired.

In the end, to each his own.

It is like asking me to choose between my children. You simply cannot compare McDonald's and Burger, except in a superficial way. Sure, McDonald's fries are the best. But, the Big Mac and the Whopper are two very difference sandwiches, in my opinion.

I actually wanted to point this out as well, so I agree with your opinion. The thing is that both sandwiches are inherently different. By design, they're practically nothing alike besides sharing the common ingredients of a hamburger. The whopper is more in line with what you'd imagine a standard, American hamburger to be, while the Big Mac is a newer take on the classic concept. Both are unique and popular for their own individual characteristics.

I haven't tried the Burger King but what I heard about my friends and cousins is that they prefer the burger in Burger King than other restaurants. I think I have to go with Burger King since a lot of my friends and cousins chose this even if I haven't tried this before but I like also the burger of Mcdo. What I like about Mcdo is their fries and icecream. It really gives me crave when it comes to fries and sunday and it really satisfies me whenever I eat their icecream with oreo. I forgot the name of that Icecream.

Burger King is the king of burgers. Whopper is just pretty good and healthy because of some veggies. McDonald's are unhealthier than BK because most ingredients are processed and preserved.

Both Burger King and McDonald's burger are good depending on what you look out for when enjoying your burger. To me, I want a burger that has got enough of the nutrients and that is what Burger King offers me. Someone told me that it is as a result of the fact that Burger King are Keen to take over the market that is making it look so and I kind of agree. They are doing well when it comes to making burgers.

I'd say Mcdonalds, the meat in their burgers are so beefy and juicy, I also like Burger King but I think I'd go with Mcdonalds. This question is difficult to answer since both fast food chain offers so many different types of burgers that even comes with unique names like whopper and Big Mac. But I'll compare my favorite burger in Mcdonalds which is the Big Mac and 4 cheese whopper in Burger King. The 4 cheese whopper is extremely appetizing, it contains 4 different types of cheese and when combined you get that sticky cheesy situation that almost all consumers want, the patty and the buns go all well together what I don't like about it is that it could get messy and might even stain what I'm wearing. And now the Big Mac, what I love about it is it's two sandwiches together, there are a lot of ingredients like pickles and veggies, the secret sauce really tastes great. Although the Big Mac is difficult to eat, it's to big for the average mouth and results to a mess, the veggies keeps falling out of place and the sauce goes everywhere. I like the Big Mac better because it's more flavorful than the 4 cheese whopper.

Well, I like both, However, if I have to choose one, then I will choose MacDonalds. Although I also like Burger King, MacDonalds has always been a part of my life since my childhood. Once you get used to a particular taste and quality, it is very difficult to go away from it. Eating at the MacDonalds has almost become a habit now and therefore my first choice will always be MacDonalds
