Which one of your family members buys the best gifts?

We all have that one family memeber who has always been very generous. Mostly but not restricted to grandmas usually spoil us the most. I wouldn't know about you but my grandmother spoils us the most. In my younger years I remember me and my brothers would literally steal my dads phone just to call her to come by. We know she would never forget to come with something for her grandons.
Being the lastborn, I was obviously the most spoilt of all my older brothers. She would call me her younger husband because I was named after and looked like my grandfather who passed years before I was born.
In light with this, therein exists that one stingy uncle, who is perpetually broke. They usually buy the worst kind of gifts if any and tend to eat the most food and drink the most when visiting.
So which one of your family members, when you think of em you get that buzz a small child gets when they hear grandma is comin to visit?

i think moms are the best in buying gifts. Because she deals with all the members in the family, even to extended family. Moms are great thinker, listener and observer. in any family gatherings, even if she is talking to a cousin perhaps, her eyes is looking to dad or to the eldest. The family members' gestures, like when they feel happy or awful about something, these are kept in mom's memory box, that when their special day comes and calling for gifts ideas, she recalls to it.

I think my mom buys the best gift for us. She buys me clothes. She gave gifts that we exactly desire from our hearts. She bought a gift for the birthday of my daughter that I could not buy. Its because its too expensive or costly for me.

My daughter have been asking me to buy that toy. I was also able to buy her toys but not what my daughter really desired. She just came from a vacation. She gave me money to buy that particular gift for my daughter.

In my case, the family member who buys the best gift is definitely my aunt. She's older than me by around 15 years but she's pretty in trend with fashionable gifts. She is a techie so she makes a point to find out great and useful gadgets to gift us. I am always pleasantly surprised by her gifts. She's a person who always pay attention to the smallest details. She remembers what things we like and dislike and is also familiar with our needs. I am thankful for her generosity and try to gift her something thoughtful and practical too.

I would say that my uncle is the best one that gives me the best gifts ever. We aren't seeing each other often, but if we do, he will surely give me surprise gifts specially on important occasions such as my birthday. On my previous birthday, he even gave me a new mountain bike. I somehow upgraded some of it's stock parts though but I never would have thought that he'd give me one. <3

As a child, yup it was definitely my grandma that gave the best presents. However, I think that was because she really honed in on the whole "letter to Santa Claus" thing. I remember each year a month of two before Christmas, she'd give us a JC Penny catalogue and tell us to pick out our favorite ten things, then to write a letter to Santa to tell him what we wanted. Of course, as a kid it made sense, of course we should write to tell Santa what we wanted, that's what all the songs and movies said to do. Plus, it was awesome that Santa seemed to listen each year and get us a few of the things from our list, while grandma got us a few other things from the list. Now as an adult, I'm very glad to say that my husband gives me the most wonderful presents. I never really think he listens or particularly knows what things I like, but every year for the holidays and my birthday he always surprises me! He gives me fun, creative presents. He even tracks down toys that I cherished in my childhood and gives me those sometimes. I'm really lucky and so I try to do as well for him and give him presents that are really special.

Actually, not my mom... she really doesn't know what to give us, unless we tell her some hints. I would go with my younger sister, she really pays attention to our favorite things, or she notices something we are needing, or she just has that sense that makes her know what we want. She doesn't give the more fancy gifts, or expensive stuff, but she does know exactly the perfect gift. If we are talking about expensive, I would go with a friend of my mom, but she is the perfect example that sometimes the most expensive gift, is not the one you wanted.

My Uncle tho, well the fact is that almost all my relatives buy me gifts except my uncle. Man too stingy, even if he decides to buy it will be once in a blue moon, and that really annoys me, whenever he gets home to come and sleep at our house and i will be like "Nigga just get tf outta here" lol.
But my beautiful grandma will always remember to buy me gifts, whenever she is coming, she never forgets, it's like that's how she has been programmed, even when she runs out of money. she will squeeze out some few bucks to buy gifts no matter what.

My mom is the best when it comes to choosing and buying gifts. Though my mom rarely gives gifts, however, if she does it would really be beautiful, useful and very much meaningful. My mom has this special kind way of giving gifts, but most of the times it's handmade. I even remember receiving a gift from her, it's a handkerchief with my name written on it. I was really touched because it comes with a letter and it states the reason why she chooses to give that kind of gift to me.

In the past, my mom bought the best gifts for Christmas day and birthdays. She would ask in advance what gifts we wanted and bought them with our knowledge. She doesn't keep gifts as secrets or surprises. Mom is the best, she would try to find money to buy those gifts. Once, she brought us to Singapore just to buy a wooden piano that I had wanted for my birthday because I was so jealous that my neighbor had one. Mom was unique and determined to make everyone happy. However, she had stroke and couldn't do those things anymore.

In my case, my grandfather is the peron who buys me best gifts. He is totally amazing, always surprises me with his unique gifts. Last time he bought me a neem sapling. I was totally amazed. We planted the sapling with love and joy in our hearts. I wish one day the neem tree will go bigger and we enjoy chatting about our past life under its shadow.

My father knows my taste very well. He knows what I like from music, to clothes, to food and drinks. He always gives me the best every year from my birthday presents to Christmas. There was even this one time that we went to a show of my favorite band on a weekend and he really surprised me because I didn't have the money to buy the tickets to it.

I think it is the same for most families to be fair, the mum is always the best at buying gifts because they always tend to know what their kids want. It's just one of those things that they can do. They always tend to buy the presents on time as well, with dads known to always want to do things last minute and just ending up buying whatever they can get their hands on Which one of your family members buys the best gifts?

Even now that I have grown that much above 20, my grand mum is still that virtuous woman that does not spare in spoiling us with gifts and goodies especially during festive periods like Easter and Christmas. She will prepare special local food such as pounded yam and egusi soup, our local soup, with meats in it. I enjoy visiting grand mum and never went to her place without she doing something for me
.

I am hoping to be buying much for her when I become fully financially independent for she is a generous person indeed. I love her so much for being there for us!

I think it would be my elder sister. She picks the right gift and I do not know how she did that most of the time. She has a good eye on great buys and what even more envying is that she buys its at a very cheaper price! Whenever she gives me something I would always ask her where did she purchased the item. Contrary to the other responses, my mom is one horrible gift giver of all time. But anyway, after all its the thought that counts!

Actually most of us give gifts to each other. I just had a hard time picking up a gift for my older brother and my dad. Most of time they already have the stuff that they like, so I can't buy it anymore.

My Father was the best giver for me. He does not gift me always not like my mom, who always gives what I want, but my father pick the best gifts for me. For me, even if its not so expensive I appreciate the value of the gift from him. You can rarely see father giving gifts to son. My father only give gifts if he's proud to what I've done. I felt like I did something good that made him proud, that's why my father give me sort of rewards. My father it's not showy type of person and I'm happy that at least once a year I received gifts from him.

I am a daddy's boy and he really makes up in his mind, he must have something to give on us every special day or event like birthdays and holidays. Even it is not so expensive, he always try his effort and we really appreciate it. I can't wait to have my permanent a job and pay them back in their sacrifices for us.

My dad is the best gift giver. What I really like about my dad, when he is planing to buy gifts he eventually investigate first to make it sure that the one who will received gifts from him would be very happy. When I was seven years old I always wanted to have a doll house but my mom won't buy it for me because it was too expensive but my dad save money for it and he bought it as present for my birthday. When I graduated from grade school he knew that I love music so he give me a gift and it was a guitar from Cebu Philippines. My dad don't really care if it's expensive as long as he can assure that it will make me happy.

As for me, it's my cousin brother, he has always been the second person that has been there for me after my parents. His generosity and kindness towards the members of our house is what makes him special amongst all of my relatives.

Actually, my wife is the person from our family who buys the best and more expensive gifts. She always tries to find out what people wish for Christmas and even if they want something expensive it doesn't matter for her, she buys exactly what people wish to receive.

In my life the best buyer of gift is my dad he knows what we like every Christmas and he give us our favorite gifts with extra cash, i love him for that. there is a time that i want to have a mountain bike but he didn't give it to me on my birthday so i think its okay because maybe we don't have enough budget to buy mountain bike but surprisingly he gave it to me on Christmas i was so happy that time it was a memorable experience gift that i received from my dad.

It will probably be my mom because she's the one that we've grown to. She definitely knows what each of us wants. I remember she did buy me a game boy which is my first ever console and this is the treasured gift I've ever had and I will keep it forever. She's just the best.

In our family, my elder sister gives the best gifts. She gives us not just one gift but many when you open the present. That's why it's exciting to know this year what she'll have for us. Another one is my Godmother. Every birthday, Chrismas, New year, or just any occasion she would literally ask me about what I want. Well in my childhood years, I would go for anything from foods to towels. LOL. She gave me everything and even money even if I don't ask.

It depends on who feels like buying them and for whom. We aren't making any constriction that a particular person must buy the gifts. I believe gifts comes from the heart, if it's forced them it's not no longer a gift but mandatory act.

MY father and mother always bring me a very surprising and awesome gift. I just remembered the time when they bought me my own motor service for my school which is one of my needs in life. They never betrayed me during special occasions in my life. I never demand a thing they just give it in surprise but even no gifts on special days will be okay for me whats important is we are happy together and lives in a wonderful life.

My mum always buys the best gifts and I can say that she has a great taste. She always gets us the nicest gifts whether it is for our birthdays or for Christmas. My mum seems to know about our choices very well and I am very happy about that. So my mum always ends up buying something useful for us. There have been instances when I received weird gifts for Christmas from my friends and relatives. I have not yet used any of those gifts.

My mom actually is the best at giving gifts during Christmas. She's actually the Godmother of all. We are also the host during the Christmas. My mom also prepares most of the meals and they're very delicious. All of my aunt, uncle, cousins come here during Christmas to celebrate and we even conduct a lot of games with prizes so it's really fun. At, 12 midnight of the Christmas Eve, that's the time that we open the presents and each family will also give their own presents to the kids and others. Christmas is coming and I'm sure, it's gonna be a colorful and unique Christmas again! Which one of your family members buys the best gifts?

I think it has to be my mum. She knows others very well and she has the most free time so it is easier to go shopping and spend much time looking for the perfect present. If you have the time to plan and think what to buy you can choose the best option for both you and the person you are going to give the gift too.

Probably my mom and grandma I would say. When we get together during the holidays, they always have a great group of gifts for me. I like to think I'm a great gift giver too because I mostly give family cash and gift cards at the holidays. Can't go wrong with those!

A family member that buys the best gifts is my elder brother. This included gifts he buys yearly at Christmas, and other ceremonial occasions. He buys other gifts like home appliances and shares with us sometimes. He is such a ceremonious person and can spend lavishly on gifts that entice him in the market.

Usually, it used to be my aunt. But after a few year, I lost interest in books and her presence seemed a bit blander. Nowadays I only get money for present so it's only a matter of who gives me more currency

My grandmom when she was alive, used to be the best gift giver especially food treats. Her food treats were to die for! Now my dad gives the best gifts. He gives very expensive electronics, he gives holidays to different tropical destinations. I've gotten holidays to Dubai, to Mauritius, and to South Africa. He is really kind. I would also like to be that kind of a person. I think giving makes you happy. For birthdays I only get people cake. In future, I plan to get bigger gifts. Oprah Winfrey is a good person to emulate. Do you remember the time she got everyone in her audience a car? Goals!
