Haha. A very funny question, but anyways, let me answer it since I used to work on sales. Selling in general, may take time because you maybe selling something, but you are pitching it to the wrong person, or the price is to high, or the thing you are trying to sell is really not that in demand. But what I could share with you is how to make a successful pitch.

Describe the product and tell the benefits of having it.
Know what your customer wants and what they need.
Let them know the selling points of a product.

Are you trying to sell your products on Facebook or are you just trying to advertise your website/products on Facebook so that more people see it? If it is the first then I would stop immediately. Facebook is awful for selling anything other than concert tickets. The people on their own marketplace always try to haggle the price down even further. And when you do, they say that they are uninterested. You could have something for 10p and they will try to bring down the price.

If you are using a platform like eBay or Amazon then that makes your job a lot easier because you don't have to worry too much about advertising and marketing. But if you are using your own site then you will need to focus on advertising and marketing to try to sell your products quickly. And try to choose products to sell that are already popular. It is easier to sell a well-known product quickly.

That is very simple my friend, maybe what I'm doing now may help you. I am selling apparel and beauty products so I decided to make my own facebook page for my online business only. so I post all my apparel for sale and beauty products and I encourage my friend to like my page so that every time I have new item to post it will notify them. I also join facebook groups like buy and sell groups and post my items there. Honestly, I gain a lot of buyers just doing these simple things and I'm really earning fast. Let me give you an advice. Whatever it is you are selling, or going to sell, be sure to use social media. My sister started from nothing, she just decided to make a very small business of her own, then one day she posted it on Facebook, another friend suggested to use Instagram, and that way she was posting here and there, getting friends a followers, those guys sent the info to their followers too, and that's it. Now, she is using all kind of social sites, she is very into it, very good clients, and is working really great.

It's like when a video goes viral, just simply let it roll with the people. Not even my sis could believe the impact of social media. The bad part is that you will have all kind of followers, including the annoying ones, so make some kind of rules for your clients, like internal policies. Find something people need and then make a service out of it. And get people to sign up and work on it. That's something you'd be able to sell some gigs. You can apply this formula here or anywhere else. Find what sales the most. And see if you can get the skill. That way you'd be able to sell it online. That's something even I am trying to do online. Post post post! It doesn't matter which site you need to post it. Just post it on many selling sites. Amazon and Lazada is good place to start though. Make a honest review about your item for sale. It would be better if you make a video out of it. Take good pictures of the item for sale. See to it that the item has a photo for it in different angles and the item seen in different views. Also have a good user review of course.

Very vague question, but I'll chime in with my two bits. You can sell locally with flyers advertising your website. Use a pc or laptop to whip up a flyer, print, hang, and wait. Craigslist is great for face to face selling, but beware all the con men and fakes you will encounter. Your best bet is to network the crap out of yourself and your products. Use Facebook with links to products. Offer contest to generate buzz and get the word out. Reddit is a great place to network world wide and have a ton of fun meeting new people. It really depends on the product and what you are willing to do to generate income you need. Hope this helps.

For me, It depends on what are you selling and what and where are your target market is. If you're selling a bunch of physical stuff "Shopify" by far is the easiest and most intuitive to use (and the fastest). However if you're in to online selling you will only have the product, price and promotion. You have to consider those things and meet the customers expectations. I know that it is not easy because I, too, have gone selling but not online selling. I have to go and market my product. You need to have an open mind and patience to increase your sales. I would recommend you to drive traffic to your shop or the one you're selling online by using the Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and many more. Making ads with those drive trafficking site can sell your ball-pen in just a second or even minute. I remember selling something for my shop and I need to really get like millions of audience and what would I do is I would go to Facebook and start creating ads for my product but I would highly recommend you to use Influencers rather than Facebook ads because it's more effective in term of driving traffic to your site.

If I'm not mistaken, for every sale you make of an item listed on their site, they will get a percentage commission. I can be that good in ' online selling ' business, but it's not my kind of love.

Like one of the comments above, I find it odd to be thinking of selling fast. Are you getting married next month that you want to earn big money that quick? Seriously though you have to find a supplier that will allow you to sell his products for a big profit. In finding the buyers you can do it in social media especially if you have an active account in Facebook and Twitter. Good luck to your selling business and I hope your wedding will proceed as planned.
