Online job for college students?

PinkTurtle

Hi there! It would be nice to know what are you studying to recommend you something that suit you best. Also what skills do you have? how many hours a day are you trying to work? Do you have any experience at freelancing?

These are probably the basic questions that you you have to ask yourself if you wish to find a part time job online. Although some don't have recommended hours of work which is your best option probably. There are small and micro jobs such as posting on forums or doing surveys and stuff and I've heard a lot of good things about those kind of online opportunities.

I also live here in the Philippines, and it's really hard to budget your allowance for all the school expenses. I studied in one of the top university and it wasn't easy. I studied hard to get scholarship and luckily, I was chosen as one. We're not rich just like my other classmates so I started to think the same as yours, since I was too busy for looking websites, I chose online selling. I started my online selling back 2014. It was hard for me at first but you just have to be tough to survive. And luckily, my business is still growing and I graduated.

I think it will augur well with you if you register with most paid to post sites, though the cash is small but you can still make pocket money by the side.

You have already started with this platform, you can head over to mylot, forumcoin, forumwheel paid post program signup and start working.

if you're good with English then you can get to gather content and Fiverr.

It's good that you're asking about freelancing, because I was going to mention that given the stipulations they've laid down, I think that freelancing would probably be one of the only options for them.

If someone doesn't have the time to commit themselves to a full time or part time job, then freelancing is really the only other option. And that's because freelancing has the perk of only choosing and doing jobs when you feel like it or have the time to do so.

Any other sort of work is usually fairly unreliable if you're looking for some sort of decent, steady income.

I would suggest going for data entry or anything related to editing documents, or you can be a writer, or maybe an online English teacher. Those types of jobs are very flexible and don't require workers to be online at all times. So you can definitely work on your spare time and you are in control of your income.

I don't mean to be rude but it's best if he doesn't try to become an online English teacher because there were quite a few grammatical mistakes in his first post. Data entry is a good job if you are looking for online work initially but it can become extremely tiring and boring after a while. The pay for data entry isn't always good either.

Website testing tasks are usually found on the micro sites but you also mentioned typing. Can you understand English well? If yes, then you might enjoy in doing some transcription. There are many companies on the internet constantly looking for new transcribers.

It is completely up to you how much you work as well. There isn't any sort of schedule or minimum requirement. However, do note that majority of the jobs will first have a test you must pass.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

galegatling

Yeah. I used to do online micro tasks such as those that pay .05$ to 5$ depending on how heavy and intense the assigned tasks are. I mostly do the social network sharing and blog commenting and reviews. It won't be 100% fluent and smooth, I'll tell you that right now. You may experience unpaid and poor ratings from random clients even if you do their tasks correctly. I've had that and after I reached my goal cash, I immediately cashed out and never went back again.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have been interested in being a transcriber because I heard that companies actually pay well for these kind of work. How did you learn how to it? Did you attend any seminar or workshops, or you just learned on your own? I tried applying for one but since I had no idea about how it' supposed to look like or the techniques on how to understand those audios easily, I wasn't able to pass for the job. Also, where's the best place to apply when you're just a beginner?

Usually online jobs take a lot of time, so if you have a tight schedule, maybe an online job is not a good idea. Now, if you do have some time, then try to check Humanatic, it requires you to listen and understand English really well. You will be payed on cents depending on the kind of calls you work with, and you can link a paypal account to get your payment. Another way is to do some transcriptions, specially if you work in a certain area, like engineering, medical, communications.

I am not sure if you are familiar with Amazon Mturk, but they do offer a wide variety of tasks and jobs that are available to their users. They have typing jobs and the best part is the fact that you do not need to have any experience and the work is fun and not too difficult. As a former college student I understand the hard work and dedication that one must have. But I also understand needing to have extra income.

I think Amazon Turk has a way to earn. But you know it pays extremely low. And that's not something many among us want to be making use of. And for this reason alone I'd say that it's better to get some other freelance skills. And that can earn some reasonably good earning in due time too. I'd not waste time on Mturk type of the jobs.

There are numerous online jobs that you can do during your spare time. One comment suggested Postloop and it is a passive income earner wherein you will post on forums and get paid when you reach your quota. There are also several sites where in you will test a webstie, record your audio while testing it and then you get paid with that. I suggest you search Youtube and look for tutorials made by a fellow Filipino so that you will get reliable websites to work for. There are numerous videos in Youtube that are teaching and confirming that the site is a legitimate and trustworthy site to work. Good luck on your upcoming graduation and happy hunting for online jobs.

To be able to get any really worthwhile job online, even part-time, you really need to be able to put time into it, so you are probably better off by getting a regular part-time job instead. I understand that it's not what you're asking for, but there really is nothing you can just jump onboard and start making any real money right off the bat. I've been working fully online for the past five years, and even still I'm just growing up and the first year or two I really had to struggle with it - and I was doing full-time!

You can try micro tasks on websites like Rapidworkers or Picoworkers. Other online jobs require more time, something you may not be able to afford. At Rapidworkers for example, you get paid after completing many tasks that take less than five minutes. The more tasks you complete, the more you earn. Microworkers is also another website similar to Picoworkers and Rapidworkers. You can also get hired at Microworkers to complete a given task that can take up to six months.

Microworkers is legit and pays better than some other sites offering the same micro tasks. I have not tried it out myself. I just checked it out a week ago to see what they are offering and how much they pay per task. I do micro tasks at Rapidworkers instead.

With regards to the feedback, getting paid take weeks sometimes. So it doesn't look like a good place for those expecting to be paid within a short period of time.

You could check out some freelance sites and just find some of the less specialized projects like becoming a virtual assistant or finding some work in data entry. I have no experience with these but considering I've always seen lots of listings of these types of tasks whenever I'm looking for my graphic design freelance jobs, I imagine they are good sources of income for some people and have a stable enough supply of projects that you could potentially do it regularly and earn a good enough amount from it.

Writing articles at iWriter is also a good option. You just need to make sure that you write high quality articles that consistently get higher ratings. The higher your rating is, the more you earn per article. You can also invest to get a higher pay per article. There is a program for that at iWriter. So if you are serious enough, you can possibly make up to $100 a day or even more at iWriter.

Try to look for data entry jobs. Being in the 4th year college will be hard since there might be too many requirements that you'll need to handle so you should look for jobs that are not that heavy and does not take too much of your time. Search for GoTranscript, it is a job wherein you will be transcribing audios or videos into text.

From my experience , you can definitely try the sites posted above namely fiverr and upwork. I know that they are real and are legit paying site. You will just sell your service for people and you can earn. If you didn't want selling your service, I can also recommend to you trying Postloop. Fiverr and freelancer are the only two options. The freelancer website has the genuine jobs. And they have much higher paying options. And if you were to be payable at that time. And at some point you have to get higher.

Hi there! My company is accepting part-timers and they do not require college diplomas as long as you are able to speak English fluently. I think you already have the clue about what the nature of the job is. Yes, it is online teaching! The school is not very strict when it comes to internet connection and in fact, the only means that you can conduct your classes is through your smartphone, IOS or Android devices. The lessons are quite easy since there are only a few PPTs in the app, you could also have free talking classes for some students. Anyway, I can discuss more on this if you are interested in applying. Feel free to give me a response here or send me a private message.

Anyone interested as well could also contact me. Feel free! I will try my best to get back to you as soon as I can. All the best!

I believe that really depends on the skills and knowledge you have really, you know, just like any jobs out there. What do you think are you good at? Then search for online jobs that needs those kind of skills. You have to start with that really, because we can recommend here and all that but it my not suit your taste, or you don't know anything about it. Online jobs range from ppc ads, writing in forums, bloggings, SEO, etc. Plus, you should also consider the amount of extra time you have for having any kind of jobs since you are a graduating student after all.

If you can write in English, you can begin forum posting. Forum posting is the easiest and one of the rewarding jobs you can find online. Try paid to post forum gateways such as Postloop or the forum wheel. In order to join these sites, you will have to do test work, upon approval, you will get access to numerous forums. By posting on the forums available through postloop and the forum wheel, you can easily earn around $5 every day, which will be $150 in a month, based on the conversion rate in your home country, you will be making 7634.40 Philippine Peso in a month, which I guess is not very bad.

How did you find your first client with the article writing. I have noticed that forum posting is something which I found out through mylot and other communities. But it seems like other forums were not much into article writing. I have yet to earn 150$ a month from the forum posting and other jobs.

I wish to have target of around 200$ a month through article writing. But the conversion of the jobs and getting regular work is something I find lot harder. I wonder how the college students would be able to get into the article writing projects and able to earn consistent.

Searching jobs online is quite hard nowadays since some of the employers are looking for a 4 star or a 5 star employee. They hire those freelancers who are more experienced. But don't loose hope cause there are a lot of unexperienced people who get hired. Just be patient and try to improve your skills a little bit. That is what I did.

When I was in college, I always so desperate to look some side line job, an ideal job such as this online works. I always tend to gather information to my other friends, and to settle my financial status. Back then in my college life, financial status is so difficult to achieve, unless I am in privilege status. I am not interested in college study back then, because I believed it does not guarantee our future success.

Though, it was true that having graduated in college doesn't necessarily guarantee success in real life situation. atleast it will give us option to match jobs, whenever we apply on it. So, back to the topic; you should do the necessary things, if you feel you wanted to find job. try to be blogger in here.

The fact that your college schedule takes up a full day is a bit of a problem. Because you need to get some proper sleep if you want to do well in college so you can't stay up late doing a job either. The best thing is to probably do some freelancing on the side. You could even try paid posting on the side but I'm not sure what type of money you are looking to earn.

I would recommend that you first take some training as I am doing, on this website http://learn.samaschool.org/courses/take/how-to-succeed-as-an-online-freelancer so that you can have the basics at your finger tips. After that, I believe you shall have a more clear approach. You can try some sites like upwork, freelancer, dot writer, among others, but I would recommend that you have at least a side skill to offer such as tutoring. Hope it helps.

Well, as a college student I would recommend you go acquire a skill during your free time, because without a skill, I don't think you will be able to earn a sustainable income online. So first of all go and acquire a digital skill that you can wrap your head around with. I would recommend programming or graphic design, so you can freelance. Then use your free time to do micro jobs online.

All the recommended online job site mentioned above me are legit, but here is my opinion. First, you've said that you are a college student. Before doing any online job consider this, as a college student do you have enough time? Can you work online until midnight? Do you have skills in graphic designs? How was the speed of your typing skills?. Are you sure it will not affects your studies?. Is your internet connection excellent?

You are on your 4th year so I assume you have thesis in school, I suggest give priority to your studies first. Now lets discuss about possible online job that you may need. The Upwork is great website there are thousands of jobs posted there but the possibility that you may hired is only 10%. There are numerous experienced freelancer registered in that site and I reckon you are just starting learning online job like me. I see most of the hiring job in Upwork are Virtual Artist, Data Encoders, Book Keepers, Project Managers and Accountant.

If you are excellent in English most specially in grammar I suggest transcription job. Anyway postloop is a good start and this online job is not bad at all. Try your best to post quality post in forum and aimed to get high ratings so you can open other forums and focused on this site for a while. If you can be able to post 100 post in one day that is $5 and its not a bad start. I also recommend Usertesting for you they pay $10 in every test. Do not overworked yourself in online job my dear it's not worth the pay if you failed in school.

Hi there! I had the same problem with you, studying and well trying to earn some cash for school. It will be really hard but I recommend using survey's website or online forum that pays , you can teach english or do some freelance job like transcribing. Selling online is great too, the income is good and it's very profitable though first time's will not be easy.Good luck!

Bro, earning money online won't give you that much specially if you don't have the luxury of time to focus. If you want to earn a decent pay to support your studies, you gotta find a part-time job that suits your skills. There are so many people out there I know who are working students like you, but most of them needs to work in fast food chains and some regular offices to get a good pay enough to support their studies. Life is hard bro, so Goodluck and hope you find what you are looking for.

Many of my friends in college do english tutorial services online, From what I know there are several kinds of this. There's one where you will have to personally teach a student thru webcam, and there is also another one where you just haveto talk to the student in straight english either thru chat or calls, it doesn't have to be a formal discussion, it can just be casual.

If you have the time and skills in doing freelancing there are different websites you can join in and find a freelance job which has actually have a high price of income. But if you don't have enough time to do a project you can earn in websites that you can earn per posts. It is easier where you just give your opinions on things. But if you prefer the easiest way where you don't have to do much work you can join on websites with jobs like captcha typing, pay per click advertisement, pay for every video you watch and others. just use the google and google will provide all the information you need. Just be careful on websites that are scams so your hard work and time will not be wasted. Hope I have helped you.

As a student, you might notice that it's hard to be a freelancer because clients prefer to buy the services pf those who have a degree and many experience, so you might want to cross out Upwork, Fiverr or any service selling sites because you will just waste your effort there. I also don't recommend doing micorworks or something like that. Doing so many task with small pay and a very large quota which will devour your time for nothing. Before you reach the minimum withdrawal requirement, you will loose interest in that sites because its really hard. However, I can recommend for you to try using paid to post sites, since posting something like your personal experience for example, will be paid by points and you can trade that points to cash. The minimum requirement of point is also very low so it's easy to reach. Try postloop, mylot, forum wheel and if you have another. Pait to post jobs are the best suited for students like us.

So far, PostLoop has been the most effective and handy online job platform for me. But, I also have UpWork and I have to wait for the client to approve my proposal to get the job and so far, it's a mischief.

I feel you. It's very hard to get some client in Upwork, since the competition is very high. You need to have good background and experience to convince some client.

Have you tried visiting some paid to post site? Like in those mentioned above, it is the perfect online job for students because it doesn't consume much of your time and the task is very light and easy for you to do. You can post anything that is related to a topic and in just sharing your ideas, you can earn extra income. Try the paid to post sites given by people above and try to have your college online job.

There are lots of sites that you can work on and earn money that can assist you both on your academics and on other personal welfare. The only down side is that working online can be stressful and might even take some of your academics time if you're not careful. That I to say that time management can be an important tool you should have if you really want to make it online for there are many works that you can do online and make money.

I think those that have commented before I did have gave enough sites that can pay you while you work, so it is time for you to take action by registering on those sites.

From my point of view, an affiliate marketing seemsto be a good option. This would provide you with several skills you would need such as learning how to write a blog, creating and managing a website, developing a catchy writing style, the right language, dealing with your free time and so forth. Additionally, you would find out how to promote a product, which would come handy in the future if you decided to start your own business!

There are some jobs that a college student can do online. Like selling things online. It is the basic online job that a student can do. Be an affiliate marketer. Promoting other products so that you don't need to find what you are going to sell. These are the common but there are lots of online jobs in the internet. You can browse it anytime you want.

Try transcribing sites. I know everyone has capable to finish jobs in transcription sites. You just need to listen carefully and study their guidelines. And once you are expert in transcribing, you can apply as editor. Editors earn more than transcribers.

There's a lot of online jobs out there for college students. You can try signing up to freelance jobs or you can go take surveys probably. You can be a virtual assistant as well. Go and try to search for online jobs you will see the result.

It's already an established fact that college life and studies can be very stressful and time consuming because you have a lot of things to cover, books to read, test to pass through, all these requires lot of commitment in order to come out with good grades.

But we all know that in all tight schedule, there is always a leisure time, so it's very nice if you convert some time of these leisure into making little money in freelancing. I can really guarantee that it's going to worth you a while. You can write on forums, if you are an excellent writer, definitely you are going to enjoy it.

I'd say maybe copy editing? Something involving writing or perhaps social media management. Many brands and companies or start ups could use someone to manage their social media for them. Another good idea would be proof reading for companies and billers.

There are lots of online jobs that you can apply to. The question is what can you contribute to those employers looking for freelancers online. Make an assessment on what skills you have. Upwork.com is one of the websites for freelancers who want to work online. If you are good and confident both in writing and speaking English, you can work as a Virtual Assistant. You could also be a blogger/copywriter/content writer. If you are proficient in web development, there are lots of employers looking the right person to work with their projects. If you are knowledgeable in SEO, this will also give you decent income. You could also try data encoding but I you are busy, I think it is not the best option. You could also teach English speaking or other foreign languages if you know some.

I would suggest that you look for freelance jobs that can be useful in your studies. Article writing or forum posting jobs will do. Such jobs can help you enhance English skills which can be used in English classes or in your thesis. This also means retention in your part since you keep on doing this everyday. Make sure you start looking for freelance jobs as soon as you start your vacation. It's not easy to find freelance jobs and once you found one, it won't pay you high right away. You earn slow and little since your first few weeks serve as your learning stage and adjustment period. Article writing and forum posting jobs are fun to do. You get to enhance and retain your writing skills with article writing jobs, while getting paid for doing so plus you get paid for your opinion as well if you also do forum posting. You earn while you apply your skills both in your freelance job and in your English subject. It's a win-win situation for you.

There are many ways through which you can earn online. You can earn by posting on forums like Postloop and the Forum Wheel. If you have a YouTube channel then you can enable it for monetization. You can also join survey sites but it might be difficult to earn on some of them. You can equally try to join micro tasking sites. If you like writing then you can start a blog. I know some people who earn a decent amount from blogging. Earning online is not really that easy. It requires hard work and dedication.

Hello. Try these: www.swagbucks.com/refer/vm5x5 listen to music, watch videos, refer others, cash back on shopping and
more! I have received
$150 PayPal, $ 25 each time. It would be higher, but there's also
sweepstakes and charities. Gift cards up to $100 or more. Sometimes earn
double on offers! Just a few minutes a day!

https://today.yougov.com/refer/3oh3cwSIg23GsmVuD6sf7w
Share your unique referral link below and when your friends join YouGov
we'll know you sent them. As soon as they’ve completed 4 surveys
(including Welcome Survey), you'll receive 2,000 points and they'll
receive 2,000 points. Easy as that.

I got a $50 gift card. I have photo proof below, letter with $50
visa gift card, it's only of my second one. I didn't take a picture of
my first gift card. Different gift cards up to $100. I got a third $50
gift card.

You will be able to take surveys unlike most sites where you have to qualify to take surveys. You can pick just 1 brand for a quick and easy survey. Maybe a minute for a survey. Sometimes earn double points!

The only thing that is actually going to do something for you is freelancing. You're going to have to learn a skill and use it so you can earn some money, it's not easy at all, but it is profitable. You should start with some videos, e-books and so on. If you have no idea what kind of skills you have, pick something at random and follow it.

I would suggest selling stuffs you want to discard online. You can post about it and wait until someone buys. Another thing is user testing where you get to tests sites and sit and talk for about 20-30 minutes and you will get paid for about $10 per test. I think it is a good way to have some extra allowance since it doesn't require much effort in doing. You can also go affiliate marketing which I always see being suggested in online job sites. I personally have not tried it yet but I would like to in the near future.

You can transcribe online. There are companies that pay weekly for that service. There's also this company wherein all you have to do is listen to calls and audit them. Pay is also weekly for a minimum of $10. Blogging is one of my favorite jobs as a freelancer. You can also try to be a chat operator. They pay bigger and it's more stable since you'll be working directly with the company.

There are many online jobs that college students can do as part-time like web-design, video editing, transcription, online tutoring, blogging and much more. But you do however need to be skilled in order to succeed and earn a sufficient amount of money. So first, know what your skills are and then decide what to pick.

You could also try getting some passive income. There are a lot that pays for surveys that usually takes about 15-30 mins in average so it won't take much of your time. Well the downside is that there may be times that you are screened out of a survey, and the pay is actually small. That is why it is considered passive. An example of this is GlobalTestMarket.com.

Now work online is just at the peak of its popularity, so this is a very relevant post, thank you. However, the most relevant profession at the moment is medical professionals. In order to be able to help others and be useful to society, I chose to work as a nurse. I know that in some countries, they are trying to introduce this profession in an online format(for example, simple consultations on routine issues). Think about the fact that this work is well paid(make sure by looking here https://www.cnaclasses101.com/salary/) and help other employees who miss you so much

Hey, Cromate! Good to hear that you're looking for an online job! Unfortunately, back in 2001, when I was a student, there weren't many opportunities for undergraduates to have an online job. Nowadays, if you choose a job well, it can be paid well, and without doubt, it can set you on a successful career path. What is great is that you can choose whichever job position you like, be it a search engine evaluator, a social media manager, or a freelance writer. It's really up to what you're interested in, and what you're keen on doing. I would strongly recommend getting in touch with vacancycentre.com. This is a very good recruitment agency that will help you find the most suitable online student-friendly job. Take care and good luck!

Hi, before recommending any job, you need to know what skills and abilities. Maybe you have some experience in some online earning. But I would say that online earning takes a lot of time too. I also tried to find an online part-time job and got a job with a company. They sent me to add courses after showing myself on the good side. Completion in 9 or 10 months of my online courses, and I am quite a good specialist. At the moment you can find a lot of proposals with online earnings, the main thing is that it was to your liking and you have shown yourself on the good side.
