But with a lot of options for the kind of businesses, choosing the right one is something that you need to deal with. You will have a question of what type of business to start.     I would like to open up a cafe in which you'll be able to make your own coffee or order one from the counter. It is my dream to have my own coffee shop that as much as possible I will make it affordable as it could be so that students won't have to worry about paying for a coffee in a higher price. That is the first goal I have by the time I'll be able to save enough money to invest in that. I'll make the interior design unique so that it can attract more customers and on the same time, I'll be doing what I love to, doing interior designing.

    When I was a studying in college, I also often dreamed about having a coffee shop. The coffee shop especially meant for artistic people like musicians, writers, artists. The coffee shop would be a kind of workshop for creative people. However, when I was ready for a business, I gave up that dream and opened a restaurant.

    I am a coffee lover and your idea of having a cafe is great! It is amazing for the customers if they will be able to make their own coffee. And I think the location that surrounds by BPO companies is a good place to start a coffee shop. I've worked in the BPO and I know that a lot of people there love coffee.

    I agree with you. I also worked in a BPO company before and I could say that people working there take coffee as their necessity. I am planning to target a collaboration with some BPO companies that could help me with my dream business. I am also planning to provide some relaxation areas wherein people could sleep, chat and talk about small things in their lives. I really hope that one day I'll be able to make my own signature coffee with my company brand. ????

    That's a good idea, coffee is very in demand from morning to night so the only thing you need to do is create an advertising plan to make your costumers go for your services. Interior designing your shop is a great idea so that your place will be unique and interesting.

    I have also often contemplated on having a coffee plantation. There is a lot of money in coffee business, not only selling coffee, but also growing and processing coffee. I have a coffee tree in my backyard. I sometimes drink the coffee I collect from this tree. Since I do not have processing equipment, the raw coffee does not taste good.

    I liked that idea to teach people how to grow and cultivate some coffee plants. Sharing knowledge on how to process and make good coffee with other people is really a thing. I would like to give people a chance to learn and make their own signature coffee.

    I would like to open a big mall. I will buy a spacious place for it. There will be car parks. I would like to build condominium connected to it. I will plant many trees surrounding it.

    A big city mall is a good business. You will have billions of money to do it. Many people are given jobs. Many people could also sell their products inside the mall. Its a great place to shop.

    That is a great business idea and I believe that you will need to have a lot of partners in this kind of business since it will require a big amount of money. Let me share my fantasy when I was a kid. When I was a kid, my dream was to have my own mall. I used to build my own toy which is a mini-mall that was made of cardboard and a box of shoes. And then I created different kinds of stuff like clothes, accessories, etc. I divided the mini-mall that I made into many sections. And that was how I built my mini-mall. When I grew up, I learned that a mall is not a simple business to have.

    That sounds amazing. I would also love to own my own coffee shop. I'm sure many are able to level the playing field between Starbucks and their own businesses. It seems that students prefer the more affordable coffee without compromising on quality. It also helps to have free wifi and cool air conditioning.

    I also have the same aspiration. However, I am thinking if it is better to franchise a café rather than starting from scratch. Franchising a business involves outlaying more cash than creating your own café. On a positive note, franchising a business has the advantages of stability and marketing strategies.

    I really want to open up a bakery in our area right now. At the moment there is only one bakery in our place and there are no any bakery that offers bread when that bakery is not operating. People in my country loves bread. It is one of our usual meal in the morning. It has a really good market so starting a bakery right now will not be a bad idea.

I love a different kind of bread and I like how a baker becomes creative when it comes to discovering a new flavor and style of bread. I have a favorite bake shop that I would always want to visit and they offer a lot of delicious bread.

    For me I would like to open an internet cafe business because I see that it is very indemand in our place. Especially that we are now in the modern age of technology where everything is made possible by the internet. Many students are making a research and do some paper works at the internet cafe since it is now required that all of the research and other documents must be computerized. I see that I can earn will in this type of business if I only have the capital to start with. This is really a great business for everyone.

    I think it only depends on a certain place, if the people in your area rich and can buy a laptop and Wi-Fi then cyber cafes would not exist since you have a purchasing power which is just limited in my place. Not all people have the capacity to buy gadgets such as laptop in my country that is why cyber cafes still exists in some places.

    I definitely agree with you. This will only depend on the location of the internet cafe. If you want this kind of business, you need to target the right place like public school or universities. Not all the students here have smartphones. I am sure that they will need to rent a computer for some projects and have them printed out with the help of the internet cafe.

    There was a time when on every nook and corner of the street used to have cybercafes in our locality. However, these days cybercafes have vanished. they are a rare sight. Smartphones and the mobile internet on these devices have ruined the cybercafe business. Free wifi can be found almost every where.

    With a lot of incoming holidays, I think the homemade products even the processed food will be in demand and with the help of social media and other platform, I think it's easy to sell it online. Being a seller online and the affiliating program might be good source of income.

    In my case, I would want to start my business with relates to my field which is art so basically it would fall into some arts crafts, souvenirs, t shirt printing or any printing businesses or paintings. I can't decide it yet but one of my first choice is the t shirt and and mugs printing and invitation cards and souvenirs.

    If I have some capital then I might plan to establish a bar business since many people in my locality love the night life. It would be a great business since people who would want to relax will just go there and have some fun. I think it would also give employment to my countrymen which is the good thing here.     Bar business is really good but it needs high capital. You should have at least a family member or friends to share the expenses like a joint corporation. The location should be in the Urban area. It is good to put it near in the business district wherein many people would see it and possible to come over and have a good time in your bar.

    I would have to agree with you that bar business is indeed a great venture. If you have not too big capital at hand, then it is not the right business for you because a big capital is truly needed for this. Basically, it also needs to be extra cautious with the safety of the customers.

    That is one thing that needs to be consider first,the safety of each and every customers in the bar. Having this kind of business is not easy to put. Needs a huge amount of capital and working for many certifications and business permits from the local government.

    One of my friend started her bar business a couple of years ago. It is a very good business. But it has its downlows to. She said, the spends a large chunk of her profit for big tax. Not just big tax but very expensive tax. Tax for liquor is very expensive. She also spends a lot for security. It is not a joke when you put up a bar business. You should always consider making that place a safe place for party goers.

    I am more in to business that doesn't require big capital just to gain profit. But I do agree that Bar business is a good business. Especially today that it is very timely. Many "yuppies" or young professionals would appreciate this kind of business. Also I would advice of your business would be "instagrammable". That is the "thing" nowadays. One of the consideration of choosing a place to spend time is that it must be instagrammable.

If you are a trained professional like example a teacher, a dentist, a photographer, luckily your business is definitely revolve into your professional services you can provide. If you are not a trained professional, for you to decide which is the best for you is try searching where your real talent lies and what you enjoy most doing. Therefore, you have to remember that no matter what business you want to start up, you will definitely be involved in sales,

    Fourthly, you have to ask yourself if it is a store front or a non-store front type of business. Considering you want to sell products, therefore you will be needing a store front type of business specifically however you can also consider having a non-store front business by posting your products in some social media platforms. If you want to offer services, then a non-store front is much more advisable.

    If I would open up a new venture, I would prefer a water refilling station located outside the city. Why water? It is because everybody needs water to drink. People can't live without water and imagine this, people spend money to have clean drinking water everyday because our body needs it. Having a start-up business outside the city is best for me because the station rental fee is not that pricey compared in the city and not a lot of competitors as well.

If ever I will start one, I will start with something that I am passionate about. I will work from there and slowly build my business overtime.     I agree with you. Starting a business can be risky. You need to have a lot of money to secure your business. Everything can happen. You might earn and grow your business or fail. But if you have a lot of money to support your business, you can survive whatever risks your business has to deal with. And if you can easily identify the risks involve and know how to approach them, the chance of your business going bankrupt is low.

    I have a brick and mortar business as well as online business. My brick and mortar business is a tire shop. I sell all kinds of vehicle tires, from bicycle tire to bulldozer tires.

    I was earning well with my ofline work, however, I stated working online in order to generate more income. I was going well with freelancing sites and writing sites, however, I started my blogs to maximize my earning. IN order to live a better life, you need multiple income sources.     I think tire shop on the highway usually sells very well. Also depending on how you manage the other accessories in the shop. That can earn some good amount of money. I'd say if the things are good then there is definitely some good amount of profit to consider. I don't know much about motors but accessories do sell well.

    Well, I'm not sure if it sells well, but those shops in the highway are a salvation. They are equipped with a lot of things that you always forget at home, and they really help you out if your car get issues in the middle of the road. What I'm pretty sure of, is that they make money every single day, because everybody stops at least once in those shops, and you don't leave there without getting anything.

    Yes most of the tire and the repair shops in the highway have that need. I think lot of people don't understand that it can be a good revenue source. Most of the people just focus on other things instead. I guess business on highway only need manpower to handle various types of the services.

    I would like to start my own print/photocopy/bind shop. There are many school here in our place. I can see that there is a good potential for those kind of business.
    If it will flourish, I will add a school supply store besides itm offering wholesalae and retail.

    I would love to start my own food business. As a hospitality industry graduate, my dream is to have my own cafe or restaurant. I have this passion in cooking food because it somehow makes people happy. But I know that putting up your own business is not an easy thing to do and have a lot of things to consider.

    In putting up your own business, you should be financially capable. We all know that money is one of the essentials in almost everything. You must have sufficient amount in order to support all of your needs in starting your business. Another thing to consider is the location. We personally live in the city which I find very convenient because every establishment is very easy to access. That's why when I start my own, I plan to put it in a strategic location in the city specially near schools and malls.

    Most importantly, one must be ready with all the requirements needed and must be capable to handle all the consequences that could possibly happen along the way. I find that starting my own food business have a lot of things to do. But when my business was successful, I know that all the hardwork I have done will be all worthy.

    I would like to start a design firm in the future. I'm an architecture graduate and it seems as though only the top dogs get to do this. I'd like this firm to be recognized in the country, not just a small firm in the vast sea of small firms around here. Architecture is a dying profession in the Philippines with Civil Engineers taking up the jobs which Architects should have. The Philippines needs more Architects and Urban Planners and not more Civil Engineers. Look at the current state of Metro Manila for example. Certainly it was not an Architect who planned that development.

    I am currently checking and gaining all the information I need with regards to school transport business. I think that that's always on demand and also franchising. I wanted to enter something that's long been tested and proven instead of taking too much risk investing on something really new and I really have to build from scratch. These are the ones that I know that doesn't really require a hefty amount of money. I wanted to go into real estate but I don't think it's a good fit for me.

    If money or capital isn't a barrier to me in any way, then it's only one business that I have in my right now and it's exportation business specifically the exportation of charcoal. I was actually introduced to the business some years back but the capital to venture into the business wasn't forthcoming, so I had to give up on trying. Charcoal is a very hot product of exportation here and should I accidentally have the means to funds to join the business, I wouldn't bath an eye for one second.

    I think there are many business models out there. And some of the business models are simply hard to work with. The reason being some of them are just burning money. I want to start business that has less burning of the expenses per month. And I want to focus on the money that I can regularly invest into the business and the profit can be handled. I know it is kind of hard to find such business but I am hoping to work around such business and hopefully that may work around.

    I would like to start an Internet Cafe business but I don't think it would be successful today. It was very profitable years ago because many kids and students like playing video games. Now, most kids have their own console, PC, or mobile phone to play within the comfort of their home.     How about integrating a small coffee shop/milk tea place inside the actual net cafe? It already has the cafe in it. Think of it as a library with Starbucks. Sure it will cost more money than just setting up an internet cafe but it will attract more customers and make them spend more time using the computers. Rather than targeting the youth mindlessly spending their time playing games on the computer, with this concept you target more of the general audience more like the casual person who just wants to check on his emails or students who want to do their homework in the cafe.

    I'd also advise not to buy a franchise for that milk tea/coffee shop. Establish your own. With a franchise, they have all these promises of year to return but almost always it doesn't happen. You can't predict when you'll actually get your investment back. Plus you'll pay them a royalty fee for the rest of the business's life.

    I have started my business 2 years ago and it giving me a good income. I rented a space in the mall and let the others rented on me. I like this business because the amount of money that you profiting into is stable and you have no worries that they would not pay you. It is policy in the mall that they have to pay on time every end of the month and they signed for the contract. This is a good business,less headaches.

When you buy a franchise, you are buying an established idea or brand that has already proved to be successful, owning a franchise is great because it allows you to go into business independently but its like you are not on your own because you represent the brand of the franchise that had already survived for a long time so it's like you have the full support from the company itself.

    Well, when you buy a franchise, you have somehow a guarantee, because people already know the products, and they will go to get exactly what they want from there. He said that you will not earn a lot by having one outlet since you need to pay for advertising etc... You can only earn a lot from this if you have more than two franchise outlet.

    For now I would like to try the piggery business because according to one of my friends, it is a profitable business since you can easily earn a big money out of it.     I can’t really say that I’ve ever seriously thought about opening any sort of business. I’ve had several family members try to do so and it didn’t end up going well for any of them. Due to their experiences, it’s kind of left a poor image in my mind.

    The only sort of businesses I even remotely gave any consideration were perhaps opening a tea or noodle shop. It would be cool to have a small shop where people can just enjoy a relaxed environment, buy some tea, or perhaps order a cup and drink it there.

    I’m also somewhat enthusiastic about noodle/soup making so it would be cool to share that with people.

    I agree that business is a good investment. Your hard-earned money will not be stagnant unlike if you will just keeping it in banks. Putting up a business is also a risk that's why we have to plan it properly and strategically so that there's a high probability of success. A lot of factors should also be considered when starting a business such as financial, interest, location, and time.

    For financial, of course, we need enough amount of capital to start our chosen business. It is better if the money will not come from a loan with interest. If yes, that would be very risky.

    There's a big chance for our business to grow successfully if it's based on our interest and passion. It would be easy for us to focus because our heart is in there.

    Location plays a big role in business. We need to do a research if where is the perfect area to put up our business and are there a lot of people in that place who could turn out as our customers.

    Let's not take for granted "time". For a business to grow in all aspects, we need to dedicate our time. Time to look after our business, time to be patient because our business might not grow that fast, and time for our self and family too because this is also essential.

    My family has currently started a beach resort business and all the factors mentioned above were taken into consideration. As part of the family, I also have the obligation to help it grow and I'm hoping that we would succeed in the future.

    I'm the kind of person whom, unfortunately, couldn't find his niche. I can say that I'm a master of none, but I'm a fast learner and if I learned sometging I make sure to be good at it. So having a broad spectrum of choice doesn't really help much when it comes to decision making. Thankfully, I was able to learn how to operate a photo booth service, from finding prospective clients, posting ads on different platforms to operating the equipment. After a year of saving up, I was able to buy the equipment I needed for my own business. However, as a newbie, there will always be problems that may face our directions, that's how new stage of learning process occurs. Like fixing the broken equipment and learning when to not revive the broken equipment and buy a new one.

    I can say that if you're like me, a person who's having yhe hardest time deciding on what business to invest to, don't stop learning new things. You might find something that would make you a rich man. Good luck!

    A few years ago I was asked to start up a cafe from scratch for a friend. They chose the wrong venue in the wrong place and the project was doomed for failure from the start. I would like the chance to start another one in a better area and with good footfall. I could then use my experience gained first time around.     I have two I would like to have. In a previous post, i described how I set up and ran a failed cafe for a friend with no business sense. Having done that, I would love to set my own up in a viable place, using all the experience I gained. The other thing I would love to do, has been proven to be a bad idea. This is why I doubt I will ever do it. I want to set up something like the now defunct "Bubblews" and find an algorithm that means I could pay people what they used to before they went crashing to the wall in a spectacular fashion. Really, a place for people to write and get paid that paid me via it advertising would be a dream come true.

    I am a complete Foodie. I like to taste new dishes and try new recipes all the time. Cooking is my passion and so I obviously would love to start my own Restaurant someday. Actually I would love to start a chain of restaurants in the future.I know its a very big dreambut I am very passionate about it. It may take a lot of time ,and will require a lot of patience to make it happen but I am ready for the challenge.

    Since I was a kid, I've always wanted to own a pastry shop, so now that I am ab adult I am trying my best to save money to start a pastry business. However, I'll start with online business first, since building a pastry shop is really costly.

    I want to start up a restaurant or maybe a mini cafe. I love cooking. I enjoy preparing meals for my family. I used to be a pharmacy student but working or starting a drugstore is just to stressful. While cooking for me is a stress reliever. And also food business never go out of style. Food is a basic necessity so people will always look for it. Right now I’m still saving up so hopefully in the future i’ll have my restaurant up.

    I have considered many types of businesses to begin with , some realistic and some not so (without having the right funds to create them at least) but one that is more approachable right now would be crafting and selling Nordic-Celtic themed jewels. Things like rings, necklaces or bracelets with authentic runes and carved writings on them (I'm already thinking about different designs I am writing this ). Anyone can go down that road as long as you have the right inspiration , knowledge and a theme that represents you best.

    For that type of business you just need a small workshop (in a basement maybe) and that's where most of the work will be done. The next part is correct marketing. That's the reason you have to be familiar with the audience that you want to sell to , or even better be a part of that audience. I find that doing that type of business , along with the creative part and the marketing would be ideal as a place to start.

    I would like to open something that I used to like. A coffee shop is one of my dream business that someday hopefully will happen, I drink coffee everywhere I go it makes me relax and comfortable that's why I want to have a coffee shop on my own. A Pizza House is also best for me. kids and adult usually enjoyed eating pizza, a group of friends loves to eat pizza together and family gatherings are also good bonding for them. Aside from that girl's boutique is also my favorite, shoes, bags, dresses, and accessories i love to have it all.

    I don't want to start a business. But I consider the work that I do from home is a sort of home business project. Right now I just want to find work to do where I can make money from my online activity. It has taken me years to start generating consistent income but things are starting to look up. Finally!! LOL.

    I think I would like to start an app-developing business. Today's generation can't almost go without their phones. and almost everyone owns a smart phone. With that being said, you may say that one can already have a vast market if one could make a successful and helpful apps.

    I would like to open a coffee shop since I love coffee. But then again I am only good at planning without doing things to make it work. Aside from coffee shop, I want to put a business where I have make recyclable materials out of the plastic garbage just to help lessen our environment's phenomena.

    Hi!

    It's a tough question, as there are tons of options nowadays, and all can be succesful. Personally I'd prefer a smaller income business that I enjoy, rather than one I'd dislike.
    I'd say I'll invest in production of some sort. Maybe a cafe for the entire family to work there. If it will work then I'll open up a network afterwards.

    I am really fan of making music. So if I would have money and to build a business, it would be a recording studio. It would be amazing earning money while doing what you want right? Imagine playing instruments, singing, and having it recorded on your own studio. That would be extraordinary.

    My dream business is a food business like a small eatery that will cater to the residents of our village. It's not really for the earnings but more for the socializing. I have seen how the owner of the parlor here have acquired many friends because of her business. But for me a food business will always be patronized because people eat all the time. When I retire from my office job it is a good livelihood in terms of earnings and also with the socializing element that I can connect with the neighbors and the community in general.

    I honestly would like to start something like an online store. I know that in this time and day there are a lot of people who actually do it for a living and I also know that there is a lot of work. I have to say I am still thinking about it but with the pandemic it seems like something that is not possible at the moment. I did talk to some people who are in the business and they did give me a few pointers. I am more worried though about the financial aspect of things so I have been doing a lot of research regarding that. I know that a new business is not the idealist candidate when it comes to loans so you need to have the best game plan there is. I have been reading a lot about loans on this really cool website.     I know how it feels to have such problems at the beginning, because I also faced them. The plan of the business almost always seems to be good enough, but then the problems come from where you don’t expect them to. I tried one more time but I bought a business with the help of these documents for buying a business. They are also good for selling one.
