The Importance of Customer Satisfaction

Looking through a number of articles about kdp I noticed that Amazon does not sell nor accept products which their customers will find disappointing. By the way I did buy an ebook once and wasn't impressed when I learned that it was only 10 pages long. It was the last time I bought something on that site.

What we can learn from Amazon is simple. To retain customers you must provide a product that will meet the needs or exceed the expectations of whoever buys it. For online marketers who promote products, don't just sell anything to your site visitors because it will make you money, ensure what you are selling won't disappoint those who buy it. Why? Because it might take a long time to fix a bad reputation.

What are some ways, a businessman can improve customer satisfaction?

I think that sticking to what the product is good for would lead to customer satisfaction. With the bloom of online selling, most sellers tend to present their products in a "too good for an affordable price". It is a good way of marketing, but I think it's better if we don't over do it. At best, we should be able to present the quality of each product so that the customer would know that we aren't just ripping-off. Set such standards will get you customer with standards.

I agree with you. If the product is of good quality and at a cheaper price, I believe customers will be satisfied. Its a good way of marketing.

Exactly. As an online shopper myself, I've seen so many products who are presented as "too good for an affordable price" but are not worth their price. They also mostly get a lot of negative ratings from buyers which products who are presented just right and honest don't get because they receive more positive ratings.

I strongly agree with you. Customer satisfaction is a must in order to be successful in business whatever it may be. Word of mouth is a wonderful way of advertisement if the customers are satisfied with your product or services.

I agree with you. Costumer is always right. As it only gives you credit if you satisfy the costumer. You'll refered in their friends.

I agree with you. Nothing gives joy to a customer than having a product of good or high quality and being able to have it in the price favorable for them.

Quality standards of a product is always the biggest factor to customer satisfaction. Though there's a lot of seller out there giving us crazy deals for a cheaper price, we must never forget that you can't buy good quality at a bargain price. You have to pay the price.

In my opinion , you have to present to your customers the mindset of "Grander than life" . In the world of business a customer is giving his/her hard earned money to live , to experience life and to buy almost everything he/she needs. So for someone to actually buy your product they need to make sure in their mind that it's exactly as promised (or advertised) and that they absolutely will not get scammed. So you as a seller are obligated to go out of your way to present your product in a sincere way and also to offer more than you actually promised.

For example , you are selling a card (of any sort) , and you will be shipping it through mail. The customer doesn't know of your intentions or if you are going to actually send it, or even if something happens on the way that you will not disappear with their money. You need to be as friendly as possible and if someone is not satisfied with their product, immediately refund them. Don't let a bad product infect your whole selling career! In the long run your role is to advertise sincerely (that includes any flaws of your product they the customer needs to know) and then be there at every step to ensure that everything is going according to plan. A good idea is to also get in the shoes of the buyer and actually think how you would like to be treated in any transaction. Don't keep them waiting for no good reason and have a "giving" mindset and you will succeed.

The businessman should sell in good faith. Trust, just like in a relationship is important also in any business. In order for your customer to patronize whatever you sell, you should gain the trust of your customers. Do not just sell your products for money. This will give you a big profit at first, but what will be lost is your customer's trust. They might not come back to buy more, or worst, their bad experience of buying with you will be known by his friends, and his friend's friends. A word of mouth is powerful.

If you are into selling beauty products and a pregnant woman is willing to buy for her use. A business man in good faith should warn his customer that the products he is selling might be harmful for pregnant women or for a breastfeeding moms.

Providing the right information about your product or service is very important. You need to set your customer's expectations and do not tell lies about your products so that you will never disappoint your customer. In this way, customers will only get what they expect from your products and they won't assume anything.

For me costumers’ satifaction is important. The costumer who would deem your product satisfactory will always come back. As a reseller or dropshipper(?) should always check the quality of the product. They should check their procduct or test it first.

Consumer satisfaction is essential to a business because satisfied clients generally tend to make repeat purchases. A few essential metrics to remember are customer lifetime value, referral ratio, and client retention rate. customer lifetime value is essentially the dollar value of a customer relationship. A excessive customer lifetime value allows businesses to see the lengthy-time period effect of their movements on their typical earnings.

I agree with you. It is true that when you satisfy the customer, she will come back and trust your product. I myself am a customer and I can attest to that.

Customer satisfaction is one of the most important things which will determine the success or failure of any sort of business, in the long run. If a customer is satisfied with the product or services that you offer then it is very likely that he or she will always come back to you for your services. Customer satisfaction is very important to create a group of buyers who will always prefer you over the others. This loyalty of customers will make the business successful in the long run, if however, your customer is dissatisfied with your product or services then he will never come back to you and search for other options

They say customer is always right. This is one of the main mantras to succeed in business. If you can satisfy your customers, you will obviously succeed. However, sometimes it is difficult to satisfy customers. Some people are always hard to satisfy. I once had a client, who bought a web designing service. he was satisfied and bought the service again. This time he asked to increase the price (can you believe the buyer is asking to increase the price of service). Then I have also sold to a customer, who rejected the job without explaining anything.

You must not doubt your customers. Don't even out a single shade of doubt in your tone while talking toto them, especially if they want to return an item because of some reasons. You must accomodate them well and make them feel that they are always welcome once they shop again with us. Of couse, I agree with you that keeping the quality of the product as a highlight of the job is important, because once a customer is not satisfied. He will look for another seller/business/site etc.

Customer Satisfaction is very important in any business. A good quality service makes customers satisfied and will surely afford for the service again. Also, a satisfied customer may help a business by referrals. More customers means more revenue, and this is what business is all about. So the real question is how do we provide a remarkable service to gain customer's satisfaction? It is simply by the way of always remembering to consistently do the things you do just like the first time. In this way, nothing could possibly go wrong.

It's very important, because you need to know the feesback of your customers so that you will know on what to improve or what to stop.

It's admirable for Amazon to set such standard. Customers definitely choose brands they can trust. And if consumers know that a distributor consistently provides products or services with a high level of quality then they will prefer to buy from such establishment.

I think customer satisfaction has many benefits especially if you want to get recurring clients. I have learned that some of the time clients being satisfied in their job or service helps out as well. I am sure if you are planning for the customer feedback in your business, that should give you an idea how much you have to work in the process to get new clients. So this process becomes relevant eventually.

I have learned that if we don't take carevof our customers, somebody else will. So for me the best way to retain customers is to be commited in the quality of your goods and services. Building a good relationship with your consumers is essential to the success of your business.

Customer satisfaction is very important to the extent that the results of everything you do will depend on it. It will prolong your relationship with the customer. Having a good rating means a higher satisfaction. Higher satisfaction means more service that the customer would need from you, then your earnings will rise automatically. Very easy to say but it's really kind of hard to sustain. You have to put yourself in their shoes. For example, trending today doesn't mean is would be a trend for tomorrow. What I mean is that you have to always adjust on the needs of your customers in real time as possible. This way you'll have higher chances for them to be satisfied of your service.

I agree with you. It's so satisfying to know that you have a long time customer who's been a loyal user of your product. In order to achieve this, you must build a good impression on your customer.

Hello there!

I agree with you, customer satisfaction is very important. Many companies don't take care of that and eventually lose their audience.
What they don't understand, that a satisfied customer may come more than just once, and moreover, bring other people he knows. It's like affiliation.

It's common sense, a customer would only come back to buy more if he is satisfied on his previous purchase. Why would a customer buy again in the same store if he wasn't satisfied in the first place? So basically sell crap and you'll get no customers, sell quality products and all your customers would be happy and will come again to buy another day.

An eBook that was only 10 pages long? What an absolute rip-off. I don’t understand how people can bring themselves to conning someone like that. Don’t they understand that once you betray someone’s trust that way, it’s going to be nearly impossible to earn it back?

I think the most important part with regards to customer satisfaction is to be honest with the buyer. To put it colloquially, don’t try to sugar coat...you know what, sugar honey iced tea. Give the customer what you claim to be selling, because if you do not meet their expectations, then they’re not likely to come back.

Costumer satisfaction will reflect on how good or bad our service is. That's why costumers remarks and comments are very crucial when are on business because the success of our business depends on their satisfaction.

In order to answer the question, my take is to think of ways to make the customer unsatisfied. When you have made a list of items that can annoy or make the customer not satisfied with your product or service then you have come to the solution on how to make the customer satisfied. It is imperative for a businessman to satisfy the customers because the customer is the lifeblood of the business. When satisfied, the customer will become a real customer who will come back for more and who may also spread the good business that you have.

"Customer satisfaction" is very important because that will make them buy your products and services again. If the customer is not happy with what he or she got from you, he or she will never return to you again. Your main goal should be "Repeat Customers" because that's where your stable income will come from. Happy customers and clients can also share it to others and recommend you to their friends and acquaintances so "Customer satisfaction" is very important.

Amazon has been improving all the time. The company is simply obsessed with customer focus. So, it was Amazon who first introduced such an option as customer reviews of a product. Even negative ones. Interestingly, the manufacturers at first were very opposed to the introduction of this function. They felt that the introduction of such an option could negatively affect sales in the presence of a large number of negative reviews, you can also reach them out at https://amazon.pissedconsumer.com/review.html. Somehow, Bezos managed to convince them. And for good reason. Practice has shown that reviews only increase sales. The most popular feature of the site is that customers can leave reviews of purchased items and rate them. This helps to choose the right thing of good quality.

Keeping your existing customers happy should always be a priority. Customer satisfaction is important because it hugely increases the chances of a customer returning to do more business. Customer loyalty won't come easy if you're not focused on pleasing your base.
