How do you react to seeing your work copied and posted in other forums?

Copying and pasting of one's original content is a cancer to freelance writing and it's going to be very hard to stop it entirely. Some people don't react well when they witness their work being copied.

Personally, I don't do much but laugh and move on knowing fully well I'm always going to be better than the copycat. Some would report such copycats immediately.

Well, I don't react to that thing that much, as long as you know to yourself that you didn't copy anyone's work. As long as you know to your self that you did not do anything rude, it's fine with me.

Some freelance writers aren't cool headed when it comes to seeing their content being abused by other writers as someone told me in the past.

It takes a lot of maturity to ignore such act of wrong and it's only a handful of people who are can look over it easily.

I started writing on the internet as a career in 2010. I had to work for two years to receive my first payment. My articles have been copied an published elsewhere on other's name many times. In the beginning, I used to contact the thief, ask him to remove, if he did not remove the content, I used to file DMCA. The while process was tedious. These days I no longer care who copies my content. In fact I even get a satisfaction. I am good that's why they are copying. How do you react to seeing your work copied and posted in other forums?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jayjaydimson
Yeah exactly, being matured on the things that you see is the key for you to make yourself calm seeing those kinds of comments or posts.

If you work online, you should understand that you are prone to content theft. people will steal your contents, your designs and your images. There are ways to protect your contents, for instance you can disable right click to stop people from copying your articles and use water marks to stop people from stealing your designs and images, yet, people always find ways to steal your content.

I agree with you. I would also laugh at it. That means your work is good to be copied by others. I would take it positively than be angry about it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, same here. I don't take that kind of thing so seriously, I would rather be happy because my article has been copied, tho that's only my opinion.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

It is also fine with me. Its just a minor problem. Just take it positively. People copy or emulate someone because he or she is worth copying.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Well, after all arguments and all, it's down to ignoring the culprit and moving on even though they are making money online off your effort without giving you any credit for it.

If you start now and lament till next year, I don't think that they are going to be deterred from the act.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

You have a point. But what if that content or work is very important to you? And you lose all credit to it due to someone copying it. Will you still be this calm?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I agree with your opinion, it doesn't what people do to you as long as you didn't do anything bad to others. I just always think this phrase "Don't do unto others what you don't want to do unto you". Karma is real and there is a right time to hit them.

I would be mad of course. I work hard for it, so it should be credited to me and not to other people.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

In all fairness, it hurts seriously when you see someone else take the glory for your hard work by simply copying your work without any notice or go ahead from you.

This is actually why some people don't hold back and report such error writers immediately and see punishment melted to them.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jaybee19
Exactly. Seeing your hard work being used by others without your consent while benefiting from it effortlessly is totally exasperating. That's why when someone did this to me, I immediately reported the offense so that the copycat won't be able to do the same to others especially that it's very hard to control plagiarism nowadays.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Exactly. I have seen people working harder on YouTube. And then video stealing happens all the time. And that is one more reason I prefer to report such type of the users. because they affect the quality of the forum. And something like that needs to be changed.

I have seen people working harder on YouTube. And then video stealing happens all the time.

I watch a lot of sports videos on the net and from time to time I'll find some of the video posted on other sites. It is disgusting. They don't even inform their site visitors that the video is on youtube.

It's disheartening that when some people steal videos they don't make, they may make more money from those videos than the people who actually made the video. If only there was a way to stop the thieves!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes people in fact steal the work of many channels and artists. And they think there is nothing wrong with it. Like say many cartoons getting stolen despite mentioned that those are owned by artists. But stealers want to make money. And they do it without thinking about hard work done on that. So I think video stealers need to be deleted for sure.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Some sketchy file sharing sites encourage this sort of thing. They offer to share the money made from downloads and ads displayed when a subscriber downloads any of the files this content thief uploaded.

If only there was a way to make it a lot harder for such people to make money from stolen content, we'd see less of this plagiarism and piracy.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, I agree with you as well, tho I don't take it so personally, as long as we know to yourself that we are the one who owns that article, tho if it has credits then I can consider.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes, credit or some financial compensation is one thing. But those who steal with the malicious intention. They can surely be using the forum in that case. I personally make use of copyscape to check who is stealing the content. For some sites it can be useful in many other context as well.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
I'm very much aware that using copyscape would expose some writers who are copying some of my work but what can I really do to get them stop doing such?

I simply conclude that they are the empty brains types who can't think of anything else to write about other than copy other's work.

They are a disgrace to freelance writing.

I will confront the copycat and talk to him/her and warn her about plagiarism. I would talk to him/calmly as possible.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
Seriously, I don't think that talking to the person will have any effect in getting him or her to acknowledge his or her fault. Some would even deny the fact that they copied your work. The silly ones would argue that they were the first one to publish the work.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

It may not always be possible to contact someone who has plagiarized your content. Could be they do not provide any contact information on their website. Assuming that you actually send them a message and they read it, they may simply not respond.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't do anything when somebody plagiarizes your work. Contact that person. If that yields no positive results file a DMCA takedown notice and hope for the best.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Please, I would like to know how to go about this filing for a DMCA takedown. What are the procedures and requirements needed to move forward to this position? If it's something that would yield a positive result, I think that it's definitely worth giving a shot.

Honestly to me it's highly annoying. They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery but to me it's the highest form of frustration. It's definitely something that I think a lot of us have to contend with when we have our content online - it's as simple as copying and pasting, and using that content elsewhere...and most of the time (sadly) no one is any the wiser.

It really ticks me off too if someone is getting paid off simply recycling my work, when I know the time and effort it took to get it done in the first place. Oooh...makes my blood boil!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
It is of course annoying when you see your contents being copied whether it s just a forum post or a full length article. There was a time when I used to report when I saw copied contents on a forum. This was very necessary to maintain the standards of the forum. However, I have stopped doing that because I no longer care what other people are doing, all I care is about following the standards myself.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

amelia88
That's true, it can be hard to enforce everyone else's behavior out there, and if you reported every piece of plagiarism you saw you'd probably be working around the clock.

I think that's really all many of us can do. Be honest ourselves in our work and our dealings with people, and hope that others follow suit.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
You cannot be self proclaimed police and monitor everything. What you should care is to follow the rules. One of the interesting things that I have noticed about content theft is related to the images. Many people are using images created by other people and they do not even realize that they are stealing others work.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

amelia88
Do you mean in cases where people use pictures for things like avatars, or people literally copying images off websites and using them on their own site? I'm curious about what you see as the biggest cases of image theft out there. It sounds like it happens a lot.

Do you think people should watermark all their images online, or does that not really help? I imagine if someone's really intent on stealing your stuff they could just crop out the watermark, too.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

It's indeed frustrating because it would seem like you are the fool who works your butt off to create a new work while another person would just wait for you to publish your work and went straight away and copy it making money off of your sweat without being acknowledged.

I'd only be mad if it was a post that I worked on for 1 to 2 hours. If it was just a post like this, I wouldn't be mad. It's fine by me if they don't even credit me in the post, as long as the post isn't being used in a wrong way.

That true, if it is something that you spent days and efforts of research on, i don't think i will love to see it claimed by someone else without giving me a shout out or something better. A post i spent days on that am not credited for is really annoying to me and i seriously will react.

Those who copy comments are just confused in life. I don't even have spare time to waste for anyone who copied my comments.

It's only having my fully written article on any subject matter being copied and posted to other sites that gives me no joy.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have this kind of experience but not in forums. My first attempt to write something was on 2014. I wrote about my struggles, my life and what I experienced from working, and my eagerness to achieve my goals in life. One of my friends on facebook copied a portion of what I have wrote that talks about courage in facing great challenges in life and post it on his wall as if he wrote it by himself. He did not ask my permission or even just give a little credit to me. At first I was sad but thinking that if that will help that person to become courageous to achieve his dreams, that will also make me happy.

My forum posts have been copied, my blog comments have been copied, my images have been stolen, my entire articles have been copied. Your contents are your intellectual property and no one has rights to copy and use without your permission. However, in the world wide web stealing has become so common that you can no longer stop people from copying your cotent.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vhinz
Exactly, everything we put on the web can be copied by other people and use it on their content. This is really a big problem for content writers. Sometimes the product that they are selling are being distributed on the internet by those who bought it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
If you received upfront payment for the content that is stolen and is being distributed across internet, you do not have anything to lose. However, if the content that is still earning you income has been stolen there will be a loss in your revenue. For instance, you lose more of your article is stolen than when your forum post is stolen.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vhinz
Maybe this is the reason why other authors still published their work on hardbound. While other authors just created a subscription website where a member can view the contents inside the paid account but the download is disabled.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
Since world wide web is a free source of information, I do not think that you will generate traffic if you have enabled subscription of paid features. You need to provide your contents free in order to attract readers and generate revenue. When your content is stole, you do not lose much because your original content will always rank higher than the stolen content. Your stolen content might even blocked from the searches.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Some people have no respect or regard for their fellow freelance writers by going to any extent to discredit their hard work and claim glory off it.

The most annoying thing is that there is no way of getting to dish out proper punishment to such offenders and this makes them still doing this evil act.

Depending on the way it was copied, some may copy my work and acknowledge me at the end o the work which i don't have a problem with but without at least appreciating me is very bad, i will personally chat the person up and ask or an edit on the work but i don't think its nice to do that, even if someone has to do it at least with a little editing so it wont look very much alike.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
It would be great to get acknowledged by someone who copied your and edited it just to add a little bit of difference to the original writer's work.

Once the individual sees it fit to acknowledge you the original writer, your respect is intact. It's very painful when your work gets copied without getting any acknowledgement from anyone.

I will try to contact the one who posted it and confront that he or she is copying my work or artwork. If he or she renewed my design and its kind of different from the original design, it will be okay for me but copying the whole thing is a big no no for me. I will remind that person about plagiarism.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Some of these people don't care about plagiarism when it comes to the work that was copied being published online, they would just treat the work as any other work done online which is not fair. If the original work is changed in a way to make it differ from how it was at the initial stage, then it's all good in my opinion.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

If it was copied word for word then I would ask the person who posted it about it but if not then I wouldn't be bothered. I would just presume that we think alike. Maybe we thought of the same idea and expressed it in the same manner with the same words.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Ture, I understand your point about two different people having the same idea about one topic, so it's not really to have two different similar opinions on one topic but it's very rare for the words used to express their thoughts to be the same.

I feel so good realising that my work is worthy of copy pasting. It is good when somebody gives me that honour. I know copy pasting and plagiarism are bad but other people do copy. I just forgive them

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

amelia88
You are a way more calm person than I am! I hear what you're saying that it's flattering that someone takes your work and thinks it's worthy of copying it, but I just think it's unethical. It's like stealing, to me. I wouldn't just steal someone's phone because I thought it was a good phone...I wouldn't steal a car because it was a fancy, nice car. So I wouldn't steal someone's work, either. It just doesn't sit well with me from an honesty standpoint.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

By stealing contents and distributing on your own name you are harming your own reputation. You will be sooner or latter banned from the site where you publish stolen content. I have reported may sites in the past that published my stolen contents and they were removed by Google.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

It's good to know that Google actually acted upon the advice you gave them about sites that were publishing stolen stuff. I guess that's reassuring that there's at least some justice that comes about from people stealing your content.

It is good to know that sites like Google gets involved with issues like this. This will surely prevent violations in the future.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Although, in a way it feels good getting to know and see how your work is being copied and pasted in other sites. When you look at the act from the angle of not being aggrieved, you would just see it as your work being worthy to be copied.

Well, depending on how the work is used is going to determine how I'm most likely going to react to it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think if my content was copied but then it was improved I think I will not be mad at it as long as it will not be word for word because otherwise it is already not a good work but an insult for me. Sometimes it is hard to stop those people who are just copying contents to other people and cannot make it to have their own since maybe they think that that particular content is very great and awesome which is why they are copying such content.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think what you are referring to is when your work has been used for reference and the new writer has not plagiarised anything that you wrote. In that case, I do not think that there is any reason to be mad but one should also be included in the references page.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

"... I think if my content was copied but then it was improved... "

Well, if this happens to be the case with having one's work copied, then in my opinion there should be no cause for any alarm because the copycat actually improved and made the work better.

It only get awkward and annoying when the work is copied with being improved in any way whatsoever. Some would even go to the extent of down writing the work and making it look worse.

I agree, I once saw some of my topics being posted in another forum. What's worst is that they also copied the topic description word for word. I guess some people doesn't really know how to write, I mean copying topics and comments word for word without even editing it is a new low.

Have you tried a pay to post forum called Digital Global? About 80 percent user generated contents are just a copy from other forums. sadly, the site owner has failed to notice the copied contents. The forum will surely fail because of duplicate and stolen contents.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Wow. That is too obvious and a violation already. I think it's possible to report that to the moderator or the owner of the site.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Personally, I don't mind getting my topic being copied. There is no way to claim ownership or the original scripter of any particular topic.

It's the content of the topic that matters most because they are your diction and you have a right of ownership and claim to it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Shocked obviously if I have not been given the appropriate credits or payment for that matter. There are various periods when you can find that you were paid via agencies who broker online content and you delivered an incredible job which has now been published for others to see and it can make you proud. When you do not have any knowledge of such however it feels like theft.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
What can one do about it other than report. Definitely, as a human being, you are supposed to feel bad and actually curse the person but anything other than that is farfetched.

I have only contacted one person who copied one of my favorite articles on sports and he actually owned up to doing it and I had to let go without reporting the issue.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think It does affect me because I worked hard on that. And the person who copied it need to be punished in one way or the other. Internet has free content does not mean one should steal other peoples content for their own gain. That sort of mentality and behavior needs to stop. That is why many people are struggling in life.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

You cannot stop people from stealing your forum posts, however, if your entire article has been stolen you can report to the site and ask the stolen content to be removed. You can also file DMCA and block the stolen content from search, When the content does not appear on the search, the thief will gain nothing. In the past when my contents were republished on blogger, I reported to Google and the blogs were deleted.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

In case of forum posting being stolen if found. You can report that user and get him banned. I mean that much can be done. But the thing is that often many forum owners don't do anything. So those type of cases don't get solved for sure.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

In my experience, most of the forum owners do not bother such thing. Unless the user steals and post the content on the same forum, I do not see forum owners acting. When the poster steals from one forum and posts on other forum, the owners do not care much because the need content provider and activity on their site.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Can it be stopped? For now, I don't think that it's going to be possible because there aren't any strict rules and punishment against such act.

The highest punishment would be the banning of the said writer and he or she can still open a new account and resume from where he or she stopped.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Plagiarism is not compliment nor insult. But it's more like robbery. It's not something to feel good about or bad about it. It's kind of an event which hurts. So same there. With plagiarism however your survival and often growth is affected.

If you are worried about your content being stolen, you can add plugin they disables the right click. When right click is disabled your content cannot be easily copied. Intellectual theft is a crime just like stealing of commodity.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Disabling right click does not work if people scrape the site content through bot. Bots can not be stopped by right click disable plugin. Because that way many sites are being ripped and being sold through other sites for information. So plugins like that don't solve issues.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

@vinaya, thank you for your wealth of knowledge about this stuff. I never knew that disabling the right click option was something that could be done - any steps that can help prevent plagiarism are useful, so thank you again!!

another way to stop people from stealing your content is by publishing as images and using slideshow to display contents. However, if you are using Google Ads, this might be consider as not having enough content.

I don't think disabling the right click would prevent people from copying your content, because they can always go to the settings and turn off the JavaScript. But, I like you idea, since not everyone knows about it, it lessens the risk of your work being posted on another site without your permission.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Depending on how my work was copied would determine whether it's an insult or a compliment.

If the work is improved on upon being copied and posted in another forum, it's not really a bad thing but when the work wasn't improved at all in any way but rather it was downgraded, then it's a huge slap on the face.

I would be pissed obviously, just seeing someone's work gets copied already makes me angry. The same reaction of getting robbed, it is illegal to copy someone's work. We have a law and copying someone would be plagiarism, it is illegal and wrong, only a low life is capable of such acts.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

There is no doubt about whether it's wrong or not because it's very obvious that it's not a good thing to do. It's just as you used the act of robbery to picture exactly how it feels when one's work is stolen - copied and used without his permission.

Bad thing will never stop existing in the world of freelancing till tomorrow. We just have to deal with it the way we see it.

I haven't had anything I have written copied yet but if someone were to copy it then I'd have to inform the site admin that plagiarized content has been posted on their site. Whether they take action against the culprit or not will be entirely up to them.

I've heard that copied content can't outrank the original which was indexed first so to be honest since that article won't draw much search traffic it wouldn't bother me that much.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Letting the site admin know about such is a good moves to make as well depending on how you feel that they can react. I just can't really see the need for people to have the mindset to copy the works of others without even making reference to them.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I just can't really see the need for people to have the mindset to copy the works of others without even making reference to them.

I think these people are lazy. I am sure they know that it isn't right to copy someone else's work verbatim but they don't care. IMO, the least they can do if they feel they just have to use what you've written, is to do a simple re-write or even paraphrase the whole thing. It isn't that hard after all.

This is why I suppose some blog owners still use content spinners to create content for their blogs. They need content but are just too lazy to write anything themselves.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
Those who steal contents and publish on their own name are not going to benefit from it because they will not receive search traffic because stolen content will be blocked from search. Ad network also banns account for publishing stolen contents. There was ways to tackle these issues, however, it might not work always.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

"... I'd have to inform the site admin... "

I believe that this is the most easiest thing to do with getting one's work copied and posted in another site. It's all up to the site administrator to take any further steps in making sure that doesn't happen again in his site. It's very true what you just mentioned about a copied work not adding any value to one's site because the first time it was published, it would be immediately indexed on Google and any copy and pasting of the same content would have no value at all to the site it was published again.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jpk0007
Well, I don't know whether anyone has copied any of the work that I have done online. I think it is better to ignore such people if it is not seriously impacting you financially. However, if such copycats are causing you a considerable loss financially then it's better to report about them to the concerned sites and also personally warn these copycats about the consequences of there actions.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
I don't normally ignore as long as I am working on a blog where such my content is being posted. You can't just do that and expect me to relax and watch you keep stealing my contents. This is the mindset that we should have instead of letting those people go.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
The issue is that some site owners do not react or punish such copycats harshly when they mess up others works with copying and pasting.

Personally, if every site they try such rubbish bans them immediately without the consideration of lifting the ban, I'm sure that it's not going to take long and all available sites would have them all banned so we have peace with our work not getting copied again.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

First I would be unhappy for that because for me copying my own post is like stealing thought and ideas. Secondly I would ignore it. I dont want to cause any tension and I would like to be professionals here. So I dont care if they copied it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I'm not usually confrontational either but I think that a big part of being professional is being honest. If someone was plagiarizing my stuff and I caught them, I don't think that I'd feel right not saying something. Well, we can't do much about them since copycats are like Hydras, when you cut off one head, two more will sprout. But, I always feel bad for writers who get their written works being copied. Nothing is more disrespectful for a writer than making your own work a laughing stock, and copying it and taking credit for it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I don't understand people who feel proud that their work has copied. when I put printer paper or fingers to keyboard I give it to my all. When I'm writing an article, I spend hours and hours researching, I spent hours and hours worrying about sentence structure ,my grammar, how interesting the article is etc. I put a lot of effort into the article. For me writing is not an ego trip. I take my work really seriously. I think it's unfair for people to copy your work, and to make money off it. I think google is trying to deal with this problem and I hope it does.

Honestly, I still don't really understand the need for people to copy the works of others without even adding a bit of creativity to it. As a writer, I believe that an idea is enough for me to make contents on my own without having to copy the works of others. I see such people as lazy writers.

Honestly, I would feel both flattered and robbed. I would feel robbed as every article or literary piece that I write, I try to do my best and do my best to be as original as I can. In a way, I pride on my articles because writing is my passion. And to see your efforts be used by someone else, with as much effort as just copy pasting, well that sucks--that culture sucks. So I think what I would do is confront the culprit. I won't ask him to take down the article but instead just ask him to credit accordingly. If a part was just stolen, then at least credit my article as the source. But if the whole article was taken, I would oblige him disown. Not because something wrong is a norm, that it makes it right.

It happened to me once actually and I felt robbed to be honest and what I did was I reported the issue immediately to the admin. However, I didn't report the copycat because of how I felt, I reported the copycat because I wanted him to know his mistake and that he shouldn't do it again. I kind of actually understood the copycat's eagerness to gain something from doing what he did, however I don't think such crimes should be ignored because they might just think it's okay to do it every time when it's really not.

Well, the first thing we will feel by nature is disappointment. Some may get easily mad at the person and some are just chill. But personally, if it happens to me, I will message the person privately and I will try to let him/her tell me that it's true when he/she copied it. Then I'd ask him/her a reason why did he/she do that. I can forgive and let it pass if he/she will promise to remove it. If he/she denied everything when there's a concrete proof, then reporting him/her is the best way.

That is a very RIGHTFUL way of talking it out with the one who plagiarized. Well, it would be good if they'll just take the post down and apologize, some however, would never do that.

As long as the other people are not making money off my work I really do not mind. If someone views my content as good enough to steal I see that as a weird form of compliment. Though if they did it over and over I might try to do something about it.

That's very nice of you. If that were me, I would really be disappointed to see other people taking credit of my work.

I may have mixed reactions. I will feel bad for the one who copied because copying other works make one a liar or a thief. Plagiarism is an offense. Doing so diminishes the value and integrity of the plagiarist. Positively, I will feel a bit good about myself because my work is something valuable that the plagiarist was tempted to copy.

Terrible, It feels very awful. You will sense cheated and helpless. People will make cash and benefit popularity along with your work and you'll just become some other spectator. You may not accept as true with in karma. In case you assume that only some people do it, then you definitely incorrect, huge names do it, often.

If it was just reposted as a quote of my original post then it is only fine. But if the person who posted it is claiming to be the one who wrote it then I will definitely take steps to have it removed. I can send the person a message to ask him to remove it or inform the admin of the forum of the violation. It is hard for me to ignore copying especially if I work hard for it then other person will claim the credits.

I think that copying contents nowadays are very rampant, if it cannot be avoided I think we should learn how to rephrase or improved some words or contents in a particular article so that it would still looks fine and original. We need to make certain efforts and creativity not just focus on copying some contents since it might put us some problems laterr on.

If it wasn't credited to me, of course, I would be mad. The hard work and effort I put into that article are priceless. I would not let my emotions control me so I would email the person and ask nicely to turn it down or just put some credits to me. We need to be mature enough to control things like this.

I’ve actually never seen any of my content copied and posted to any other sites, but I’d say that’s probably because either: A. I don’t really browse a large enough variety of sites to find my work in other places, or B. People just don’t care to copy my work, haha.

That being said, if I did see someone copy my work, I’d obviously be angry and ask them to either remove it or credit me, but I’d also be slightly flattered.

While I haven’t seen anyone blatantly copy my work, I’ve seen some people take my words and just slightly spin them around while doing paid forum posting. It’s really obvious because they make the same exact points in the same way right after I’ve made my post.

I would be very annoyed, disappointed, and angry. No one else has the right to my own work except for myself. These online offenders feel brave because they hide under usernames and VPNs, but they should know the consequences of their actions. Theft is and will never be a laughing matter.

I think you may feel flattered if someone uses your work. It means that your work is amazing. But if this will affect your job with your clients then this needs to be stopped. I don't think anyone has the right to copy your work without your permission or giving you a credit.

My purpose is to share inspiration and encouragement through my works. So if they copy-paste my work, it's a good thing for me because they keep the ball rolling. However, there are certain things that are not to be used nor shared without the consent of the owner. Plagiarism is a problem that doesn't solved easily because of various reasons.

Well depending on the situation. I some copy my works and he / she did not give some credits to me then I would probably be mad. It is your fruit of you hard work and then somebody would just snatch it out from you. It would be definitely unfair. He/she can copy my work but he/she have to paraphrase from it. I mean you should give some respect to the one who originally make right?

If I see my work being used in a site that I didn't give permission to then I'll definitely be upset. What I'll do is try and contact the site owner and ask to at least credit me on the post or take it down. It's not easy researching and writing an article, even composing poems and writing stories are hard! Give credit where credit is due, that's the rule.

How do you react to seeing your work copied and posted in other forums: Maybe it depends in the situation. If it just an opinion that it was okay for me but if that work is a fruit of my hard work after how many days of making it then I will surely be mad. I may contact the one who copy it and make him/her know the mistake and make sure it won't happen again.

It’s sad when a writer’s work is discounted, and someone presents his work as his own. Ever since the time of training, there have been many problems with this when writing essays. Therefore, I trusted this task only to this service https://essaysadvisor.com/

Hi. I am against plagiarism, because it destroys all science, which is why I do not do it at all, and if I cannot write an essay on the topic myself, I just buy it. Fortunately I was able to find superiorpapers reviews recently, there are very favorable conditions for the purchase of essays, you can see this personally by reading the review.
