Have you being cheated by a seller?

Buying and selling is something that always happen on a daily basis and in different platforms. When I talk of being cheated in business, I am talking about when you buy products or pay for services at a price that is outrageous.

Have you had this experience?

This is something always happens in any business. Last year, I decided to buy a laptop from a friend, and he made feel so bad, to an extent of hating him up to date.

He sold me an HP laptop very costly, and I only realized it some defects after two days. Unfortunately, the guy could not accept, and that cost me some extra cash to repair. Up to date, I feel he cheated me because it only worked for a short time.

I think so. I have many experiences of this. But it is a lesson that you will not go back to that seller.

I have sold online and established my credibility by building a strong reputation that can be trusted. I have actually returned cash to my customers when the parts they bought failed to be the right ones and this is something which is rare in the industry.

I think that it is all about looking out for the greater good which is building a business that will be resilient for time which can only be supported by customers and customers get loyal after being shown care, respect and concern amongst other things.

Thats good of you, if we can have people do exactly what you do then we can have little trust on business or buying and selling relationship.

Good sellers are honest people. You will feel good if you are honest sellers. you will find great happiness if you are honest in your dealings.

Cheating is not okay. It is okay in the eyes of God. His eyes are upon every place beholding the evil and the good.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yea thats true but the most annoying part of it is that he bought it from a friend, some people are just self centered.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jayjaydimson
Yes, same here, once I feel that I was cheated by the specific seller, I won't but to them as well, same goes to the other people that they will be cheating with.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

That is so sad. I pray that the friend of yours will be convicted of what he has done to you. I hope that he will not do it again and to others also.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Conviction is act of God. Only the Holy Spirit can convict us. That is the work of the precious Holy Spirit in our lives.

I remember the movie "Flywheel" because of this discussion. It was a Christian movie and the story is about a dishonest car dealer who cheated everyone with his car dealings. But one day God deals with his life and that person became a faithful and honest Christian.

Wow, the fact thet he was your friend is so messed up. I've always thought that buyinh things from your friend is more safe than to those people that you don't know.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iambeth
I agree. That's why I don't do business with friends. It's hard to go back to where you were as friends if the deal goes bad.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Jeane
Same here.

I bought a PC from someone I thought was a friend. At time I didn't know much about computers. As long as I could get on the net it was good enough for me. That's how I got this old machine. The specs? RAM 189 MB. Storage 15 GB. Processor 1Ghz.

I realized too late that I'd have got a more powerful machine for the money I'd spent on the one sold to me by someone I trusted. It's the last time I ever bought used electronics.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

focusedwriter10
I am sorry. After my bad experience, I also realized I could have bought a brand new laptop with the I spent, but I learned the lesson. I cannot buy second-hand electronics. I decided that was the last in my life.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

esteban123
It is not really a good option to buy some second hand electronics since we are not sure about its quality and reliability of its service. We cannot guarantee that it will perform more and can last for a longer period of time that is why much better to have the brand new one if we have the money so that we will not regret later on.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
Well, I am also not a fan of buying second hand item. I have bought a second hand mobile twice and both I had a pretty bad experience. No, the sellers did not cheat me, however, I had to buy those used items because I did not have money to buy the new ones or better once. I was expecting that the devices will work for a long time, and it was my mistake.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Jeane
For someone who wants to buy electronics at a discount I'd suggest seeking those that have some minor cosmetic damage. It could be a scratch or a dent somewhere. Nothing that will affect how the device you are buying will work.

They are usually sold at a lower price, someone who wants to save a little money can buy them.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

rlpzbeermoney
Buying used electronics without any knowledge of the standard specs is a killer one. I'm selling my laptop to someone in a few days and I make sure he is aware of the specs and everything wrong with the unit beforehand. I think morally it's wrong to take advantage of the lack of knowledge of people but it's being done everytime we buy something. Not everyone is a techie.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Jeane
I think morally it's wrong to take advantage of the lack of knowledge of people but it's being done every time we buy something.

Many people forget that they are putting their reputation on the line anytime they are selling something which they know is faulty, defective or on the low end spec-wise to customers who might implicitly trust them.

You can get away with it initially but eventually complications will arise and this person who bought the device or some other product from you will find an "expert" who'll inform them that person whom they bought the product from swindled them. That is how many businesses lose customers.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
Sorry to hear that. I know it was very upsetting. Many people did that actually because they believe that business is business and all about money. They dont care if he was your friend anymore. That was really sad. They chose to betray you over money.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

theresajane
That's a terrible experience. One the other hand, that's a great way to end a friendship, if there is. Nowadays, even the people whom you think will not out you down will really cheat when circumstances leave them no choice.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
The best thing is to end it. The friends like that is not treating you as a friend. It is really hard to find a genuine friend nowadays.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

The cheating guy may think he has really succeeded in cheating you but he is cheating himself. Soon he will lose customers. Honesty is the best policy. What happened to after-sale services?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Jeane
There are some people who create accounts on sites like ebay with the intention of selling something they don't need anymore. It could be a phone, an old computer, etc.

Odds are after they sell whatever they want to get rid of, they won't be selling anything else for a long time. That's why some of them will sell something they know is defective. They don't stand to lose much whatever the outcome is. Win-Win for them.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

menchuuy58
I know how it feels to be cheated by a cheater. It really feels awful and sad. I pray that those doing it will get convicted by their wrongdoings.

There is a feeling of satisfaction that also comes from doing a deal in an honest manner as you are assured that in future you have built a credible reputation which is the best asset any enterpreneur can ever have.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

That was a bad experience from a friend. I think it is not really good to buy second-hand devices from someone. I never tried purchasing second-devices from anyone or anywhere. I just feel that these devices are not really in good condition that is why they sell them. I would rather spend money on a brand new one be the first to use it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Jeane
I never tried purchasing second-devices from anyone or anywhere. I just feel that these devices are not really in good condition that is why they sell them.

Mostly, yes, those selling the devices are actually trying to get rid of them and profit from the sale somehow. Many sell the devices because they want to upgrade which means you'll be getting older generation devices. Technically you wouldn't have saved much money because in a few years you'd also be forced to upgrade.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes, I agree with you, I had that experience as well, they will only tell you the positive look on the product that they are selling but they will not tell you the negative which is the defects on the specific products.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

ElectorAlexande
Yea, they won't tell you the defects of the gadget because they don't want you to change your mind and they will still charge you the rate at which you can as well buy that product from black market and it's working fine.

One time I bought a shirt from an online store and the shirt didn't fit even tho it was in my size it seems that they have smaller sizes. I tried returning it but the seller has a no exchange policy, so yes, I felt that I've been cheated that time. That's why I don't buy clothes online anymore.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Horrible experiences sometimes are inevitable. We are living in an imperfect world. There are good and bad persons on this world.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Oh my gosh...that really is terrible. I don't know what country you're in, but it's part of why I always try to pay for things with credit cards for business transactions rather than cash. In my country, you could contact your bank if you paid with credit card, and dispute the transaction because you didn't receive the goods. Then they investigate it as fraud.

When you pay with cash it can be so much harder for anyone to investigate.

I experienced in the past that someone offered me to buy a mobile phone which is costly and having some issues regarding in its operating system, I just realized that there was something wrong about the mobile phone on the next day. He said that it was just 3 months from him and doesn't have issues and he just need some money that is why he is willing to sell the item. I just saw in his post that he is selling the said mobile phone and because it looks good and attractive I grab his offer. But when I tried to call his number it was already cannot be reached and he even block me at Facebook which is really annoying, I feel cheated about it and I was not anymore able to recover my money and just pay for the repair which is costly but after few months it was not anymore working which is really disappointing.

I am sorry to hear about your story. Fraudsters will really try their best to get money from people. May we will all be vigilant that this will not happen again. Thanks for sharing your story.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

esteban123
Yes you are right on that, fraudster will really do everything just to make money even in unfair practices which is not really good. I learned from that experience that we should not really trust immediately those people who do not know very well especially in the online world because it is easy to make some stories just to make us belief into certain things.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
Do not trust anyone. The more you trust someone the more they will make you fool. Trusting is so easy for us because they knew them but in the end, our trust would make things worst.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

esteban123
Yes that is true because I already got my lesson and I will be very careful now in dealing online and trusting some people out there because I don't want anymore to have a bad experience. I will first make an extensive study before going out for a deal so that I can say tat it will not scam me.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Our society is very different compared before. It keeps on changing and people do change too.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

amelia88
Thankfully I've never had an experience like that in the business world. I tend to do quite a lot of research when it comes to organizing services, so I try and opt for reasonable prices but quality output.

Away from that though, with things I've bought online, I've had experiences where sellers have misrepresented items and I've had to try and get the money back for purchases via my bank. It's a pain and I do wish people would just be honest, but I guess it's just the world we live in these days.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
Exactly! If you don't want to get cheated in any business transaction which you want to get into, whether it's online or offline business that involves buying or selling, it's very important to carry out all the detailed necessary research on the business and have all the information at your disposal in order to be in the best place to make good decisions.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
That is right. Do your own research about the background of the seller. In that way you will find out if they are legit seller or what. It is really hard to trust nowadays because of that such kind of thing. We need to be careful to whom we are dealing for.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

esteban123
Yes that right I should have been researching first before doing any deal. I should not have been cheated if I was not so excited. It is now a lesson for me that I should not be so eager to take something that I really want so that I will not have a problem later on.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
Good to hear that. I usually do the same. I always check the its profile first as well as the reviews of their buyers so that I have an idea.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

esteban123
Yes that is a good strategy and I am sure it will really guide as well and have an idea if a particular item that we will buy is worth or not and if that particular seller is telling the truth or maybe a scammer. It really helps because it gives us the feeling of security and confidence as well.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
Some sellers take advantage of the ignorance of most buyers to impose heavy prices on their products and services. Once the buyers have no clue as to what the real market price sells, they will fall victim to the sellers. Actually, this is not so wrong when it comes to buying and selling in my opinion.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

nrnlss
I agree with you, that's why if I saw a product. I do some research first before buying it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Seriously, some people are actually just too lazy when it comes to getting all the necessary information about the prices of any products that they desire to purchase and later they blame the seller for cheating them when they could have prevented the whole situation from taking place.

With just a few Google searches for the items in online store, they would have the best price information at hand.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
I believe you on that. Many buyers are premature in online shopping and many seller take advantage on that. We should be alert from that kind of seller.

I've been. cheated once. I bought something from amazon, it was a pouch but when it was sent to me, it was not the same design and they gave me a note about how that design is out of stock. They should have email me and gave me an option if I want it or my money refunded.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

amelia88
If that ever happens again, contact amazon directly! It sounds like it may have been a third party seller on their site who sent you a different product. Amazon are usually pretty good (and fast) about rectifying customer complaints, especially if you didn’t get the right item you ordered.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

edencaga
Well, thankfully I still haven't encountered it yet. Before I really buy or order a product, I always check and I make sure if the seller is legit. Those reviews I check I think were real as there are both positive and negative feedback but the negative feed backs were just minimal.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jeffreyjose48

Hopefully it will not happen as I really look forward to use the product that I really like but then if I find out that they cheated on me, I will really report the seller especially if the product is pricey or expensive. It's really disgusting if ever it happens to me but hopefully not.

I experienc d being cheated by a seller last year. I bought liptints from an online shopping site and was happy that I got it on time. I was so foolish that I didn't check the expiration date. Only to find out after 2 months that when I received the package, I only had 1 month before the products expires. I was so really upset at that time when I found out about it later. But, I was also relieved that I only tried it like within 1 week after I received it on the mail.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
That's not that bad. I see that as a situation where the seller is trying to sell off a product that is expiring in a few months time. I believe that for the product to have arrived that early enabled you to use it before the expiry date as well.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I once bought something defined as vintage, however it turned into not. A few components of it might have been vintage. It's far pretty possible that the seller did not recognise, though, due to the fact many authentic sellers have little information of the specific type of item. I've regularly seen those items, physically and in pictures assembled the incorrect way.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

amelia88
I feel like vintage is one of those “buzzwords” that people often use in their listings when selling things - but they don’t really understand what defines vintage. I think that’s something that needs to be addressed on online sales sites, so that products aren’t falsely labeled as something they’re not.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Nowadays, a lot of services may seemed overprice at first. Knowing the extent of services covered, knowing the materials used and the products you are purchasing could more or less save you from being scammed. This extends to well established businesses that would not seem to overcharge you for "quality" products when the truth is that they just charge you for their name and brand but you do not actually the promised quality service.

Yes, the first time I buy a shirt for my son online is hilarious. I didn't expect the shirt I saw in a picture and in person is totally different. The shirt that arrives is like a mess that I cannot afford to use it in my son, the money and the effort to go to remittance to paid for it is just a waste of my time. It took me months to overcome the scared that it will happen again when I order online. But now I realize that not online seller is like that and I have to move on in that experience.

Yes, I had an experience like this two years ago. I bought a headphone with a noise cancelling feature online so that i could use it for my application as an ESL teacher. However, when it arrived, the noise cancelling feature didn't work but instead it caught up all the background noise outside of my room. It wasn't actually very expensive, but I still believe that even inexpensive products should be sold and delivered with good quality as promised by the sellers.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think that you should always do your own shopping, before you buy from one place. If a seller has cheated you, I'm afraid that it is your fault. Everyone has their own price so you need to shop around and find a price that works for you. I think that people set the price according to their expenses. So I would advise people to shop around first.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have been so many times and can share a way on how to get rid of it. Don't pay something that you are not sure so you won't get fool.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Trying to avoid making payments for items when you have not compared the price the seller told you with what others are selling is a good way to handle things. Ensure that you are paying for something that may not make you to regret in the future the reason you did so.

I’ve never been cheated by a seller but I’ve definitely had sellers try to cheat me. Funnily enough, I actually have an example which happened to me this very morning.

So, since the winter months are shortly upon us, I’ve been in the market for an oil heater to supplement my current heating system. A seller I know mentioned to me that he had an oil heater that he was willing to sell for 1,700RSD, which would be something like $17. He gave me all the details, and I figured if it’s the way he says it is, I’ll come over to check it out and probably buy it because $17 is a steal. He wanted to ship it to me right away but he isn't far away from me, so I figured I'd see it in person first.

So I come over and take a look, and the freakin’ thing looks like it went through World War II. Sure it had all the features he promoted but the piece of junk looked like it got ran over by a tank and then a bomb dropped onto it. I told him no way and backed right out of the deal. Wouldn’t have taken that thing even if it were free.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

iambeth
So that's the reason why he was eager to deliver it. Good thing you went to see it personally. I have not experienced being cheated by a seller. Maybe because I'm stingy.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

DenisP
Yeah, he insisted on “making it convenient” for both us and sending it through our local delivery service after I’ve made the payment. I know that some people just like to provide good customer service, but most aren’t so incredibly insistent about it, which is what tipped me off to the idea that his product might not exactly be what he advertised.

Strong insistence and the desire to rush a deal is usually a bad sign when doing business with someone, so I’d always be suspicious in such a scenario.

Yes. I once bought this imported item from a famous and supposedly trustworthy seller online. Her page had a lot of following, and she seemed legitimate, and so I trusted her. Little did I know that she was a scammer. I did receive the item I ordered, but it was not authentic. It was such a hassle getting the item too. Ever since then, I became more cautious in buying from sellers online.

Seriously, some people always never seize to amaze with all the troubles they pass through just to scam people of their hard earned money.

Social media sites have made the act of scamming very easy at the moment because the supposed seller can set up fake accounts and use them to give lies as good reviews.

I once had a terrible experience buying online. I was shocked and disappointed as I opened the package. The seller packed something that is not what I actually ordered. I had checked the receipt from what I ordered online and what was delivered. The details were exact but they put a different product inside the package. And it doesn't have an equal value to the price I have paid. I regret it. Now I am really careful and still doubting to try buying again online.

Something that I have noticed is that when we see problems, we should work towards solving such and I think that having your online stores is a way to show that you can offer better services to the people out there.

I remember making a logo from fiverr. And there was one artists who did the revisions for the logo art. And it was not a good design. For five dollar it was definitely the worst design if you ask me. I stopped doing the logo art on the fiverr. Instead I moved to some of the private sellers. Hopefully that in near future I can change things with the budget and get better logo in the process.

I have this kind of experience. The price is not that high for the items that I bought only, actually it's on sale. It was an electronic item and it was not properly working. I did not return the product because it will take time and will cost addition amount on my part. I just left a negative comment and rating on the seller's page.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

The issue is that some of these sellers may not have tested that product before sending it out to the buyer and this is where the issue of buying which product will come up. I think that there is need for them to keep testing such products that they sell to be sure that they are selling the ones that are good and okay.

Well yes, I guess most of us will have the experience of being cheated by a seller at some point or the other in our life. I also remember once when I had ordered an item online which had a discount offer with an extra free item which was to be delivered along with the product that I had purchased. although I got the product I did not get the free item which was promised with that. I have had many experiences of being cheated by a seller, but this was the most recent of them.

This is really bad of the seller and a bad marketing tactics for him to use. It would have been respectful for them to tell that the freebies has finished instead of having to cheat you on this kind of situation.

So far I haven't been cheated by a seller but I am aware that this can happen to anyone. I just hope that it doesn't happen to me and if ever it did, well, I hope the damaged won't be that huge. What did you do? Did you ask the seller for an explanation or just posted a bad review?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jpk0007
Well, I did try to contact the seller but did not get any response from him. I did also launch a complaint with the online site from where I had made the purchase but didn't have the time to follow it up. In any case, there was no substantial loss for me in the deal but I guess it was very unprofessional on the part of the seller and also the online site. I did post a negative review but I don't think that posting such reviews can make a lot of difference in such cases.

Here's the example of how the seller cheats on you, like for example if you will see the product that they are selling is on 50% off, even if the original price of the product itself is the same as price as if it was not on sale.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, some of the times that I see this kind of discount, I don't really get swayed by them. I try to know the price of such products few months ago and use that to judge if the seller is really honest with me.

Offline, a lot of times. Sometimes when I buy things from market or street vendors, I would be shortchanged but not in a significant amount. I would only realized that I lost some money whenever I get home. That's why nowadays whenever I'm buying something from street and market vendors I bring along a lot of change.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yes that is right since I have also encountered such problem before when I buy to some stores in some public places wherein it was been their habit already of some vendor to shortchange their customers in minimal amount to make an additional earnings since they think that customers will not realized it. Cheating is already a disease because it is very rampant nowadays and I think we must do something to stop these unlawful activities as much as possible.

I can relate, these things happen to me too when I use public transport, usually from taxi drivers. Like, let's say my bill is for $3.80, and I pay $4, most of the time I don't get my change, and they say can you give this to me as a tip for their services.

I have not experienced being cheated by a seller yet. None that I am aware of. But I think I have experienced being cheated by a repair service shop. I brought them my phone for repair. It was previously checked before I brought it to them so I am aware of what needs to be replaced and repaired. However when it was with them, they said that they need to changed several parts and needs to charge me higher that what we agreed. These are parts that I know are not meant to be changed because I am not having problems with it. So I ended up buying a new phone instead of spending it for repair.

I'm not sure. Probably not. I once bought a product I thought was good. It turned out to be awful. I wanted to blame it on the seller. But he didn't do anything wrong. It was the real product. Just not as good a quality as I'd hoped. So it's best to do your research before buying stuff online.

That way, you'll know what to expect when you receive the product.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, I know that there are some products that when you buy them, they will develop issues under your care and in those cases, I don't think blaming the sellers is the right thing to do.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Ensuring that you research about the products that you are buying is one of the ways that you can avoid being cheated. Also, understanding the seller and how they do business is something that is essential as well.

Until now I have not been cheated by a seller, online or offline. However, I have couple of times received damaged item. When that happened, the seller replaced the item or even refunded. When I want to buy something I always go to a trusted seller. While buying online I always buy from the seller who accepts paypal payment. Since paypal offers buyers protection, I use paypal to buy things online.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think that most people that buy things from the internet are always falling victim of being cheated as in most cases, you are not able to see the product that you are buying before having to pay for it.

Damaged items come when sellers don't ship things properly. Despite the many incidents and horror stories, people STILL do it. They pack fragile items, and glassware in ways where it can easily be compromised and broken if it suffers a few spats of rough handling. Instead of taking the necessary precautions.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I once bought a tab that arrived with damaged screen. It looked like packaging was done nicely, however, could have been manhandled during the shipping process. I sent the seller with the pictures of damaged screen and he offered to give me partial refund and I agreed. I have also been refunded by a seller when I did not receive the item. When buying online you should always try to buy from someone who has more than 97 percent positive reviews.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Judas2018
I agree on the seller rating thing. Anyone below 98 or 97 percent I try to avoid. Although if the item is something I really want or need, I'll go through their feedback to see what exactly went wrong with their previous orders. Sometimes, encountering a string of difficult or irrational buyers/customers can drive a rating down.

Good thing that your seller replace or refund the damaged item that you received. I try to buy only on legit seller so I don’t think I’ve been cheated yet. I compare prices first before buying things. I don’t buy in bulk immediately. I test it before buying. I look at reviews when buying online. I think it helps dealing only with your trusted people and legit sellers.

I'm fortunate enough to not have experienced getting cheated by a seller or any company yet. It's good practice to always read reviews about a company or a seller before purchasing any of their products or services. Feedbacks from previous customers and clients are very helpful to weed out scammers.

Yes I do. I have a friend who had his wedding last December. In order for them to be less stress on the preparation, we hire an event planner. But after the contract signing, after she received the down payment, everything becomes aweful. The wedding invitations she provide was trash, she doesn't pay the caterer and the cake supplier that almost made them pull out the supplies and she doesn't appear on the wedding, left the couple out of nowhere. So we decided to report her to the police and she was arrested.

I experienced this before as I bought something online that caught my attention for its low price. I got attracted to its price as I thought that I'll be able to save money because I thought he sells lesser than the other stores. But after buying it, I saw the real price in other stores and they are way much cheaper than the product that I just bought. I felt so cheated that time that I really to believed that I have bought the cheapest one well instead, I have bought the expensive one. After that transaction, I tried contacting the seller but he is not responding so I decided to just let it go as I know for myself that I also have a mistake on that part.

Yes, I think so. The sad thing about my experience is that it was by a close friend of mine. I told him I needed something, but I don't have the time to buy it, he offered he would buy it for me, and I agreed. I found out that the price was double after I checked out how much it cost myself.

Well that is really disappointing because it was a friend of yours that cheated you. Instead that he will do good things to you since you really know each other but then it seems like he is the one that will even put you down or in trouble which is really bad. It is really hard to trust now sometimes because even if we know other people there are still some possibilities that they would cheat on us or even scam us.

Many people or seller are like these. Once you don't act from it, they will still continue their doings to others too. It happened to me last month while i was buying in the market for our dinner, the seller was selling the veggies too expensive though I thought that's the real price per kilo on that day. Then on my way home I saw another veggies vendor and heard him selling it cheaper twice to that one i bought. Then now I always buy to that vendor and never buy anymore from the previous one.

Yes that is true and most of the time this type of incident is really happening everywhere, some people are taking advantage on us especially if we are not reacting on what they are doing. Sometimes we must learn to voice out if we are experiencing some fraud or if someone is cheating with us into certain things so that they will not anymore have the courage to do that again with us. It is one way of letting them know that we know that they are doing something bad with us and we are not a fool to just keep silent on their unfair practices with us.

Yes i have been cheated many times especially in the public market. Even in the online products the seller is not really telling the her product. Being cheated when buying something is like your money being stolen from you. Both are horrible experiences and much worse is that if it is your friend who's cheating you on an item. To avoid this situation, it is better to verify first the item before paying out money in exchange. That is the only tip that I could give to save yourself from heartache and headache. If you have been cheated, don't worry I'm pretty sure that karma will work for those cheaters who has nothing to do good in life.

Most of the time I got cheated with buying gadgets. I am a gadget lover so I always find a way to save money and buy things I really like. It's my way to reward myself. It's so disappointing though once your hard earned savings fall into something which is not worth it. Most of the gadgets shows defects after a week or so. Once the defects/malfunctioning shows, your device warranty is already invalid.

I think its best that if we are planning to buy like shoes, clothes, or anything that we need to check first it it really fits and no damage at all, is to but straight to the mall. Some it says it waste of time if you can order it online. I am a fan of online shopping since it is more convenient and easy. But have you ever thought that it is also a part of risking your money. I've been cheated at online shopping before by not assuring the legitimacy of the seller. To avoid it, I always look for a proof of payment, proof of shipment and feedback from the other customers. Yes. I've been cheated online. It's just painful that someone took advantage of you. All the while, I thought that this girl was honest and legit because it seemed that way and when it comes to appearance, you wouldn't ever think that she was a scammer. I was buying a bag from her and she presented me its authenticity. I thought it was original but it turned out that it's fake! I was faked. It was an expensive bag. I would not mention the price but it's really expensive. She blocked me from all social media sites so I could no longer contact her. It was just painful for me because that was my hard-earned money. I'm not a rich person. It's from my savings and to be scammed like that is very painful. I really hope such scammers will be caught and spend their life in jail so they can no longer scam more people.

It happened to a friend when he bought a computer during the time before the Windows came to fore. The computers were the PC-XT and PC-AT that were mostly used for typing. The word processor was Wordstar and MS Word was not yet born. Anyway, my friend was wealthy so he could afford to buy the latest model of PC-AT which uses the 3.5 floppy disks which was an improvement from the 5-1/4 inch disks. When a technician checked on his computer for a minor problem, it was found out that it was just a clone and not an original. The cost of the clone is just 1/3 of the amount that he had paid for.

That might save you a lot of money.
