Dogs vs Cats

I've been a cat lover for years. I can't imagine my life without cats now. But, growing up we only ever had dogs. For me, cats are awesome, though some people consider dogs better. And, maybe it will just depend on someone's lifestyle or household as to which pet works best. Cats are independent, fiesty, affectionate and loving and mostly self sustaining. Though several of my kitties actually crave lots of love.

Which one is your favorite, cats or dogs?

I'm finding dogs to be really good company. Currently, I'm taking care of a friend's pet while he is away and enjoying the time we spend together. I think I will miss him a lot when he has to go home. Our, daily walks are the highlight of my day and something we both look forward to.

Dog is my favorite not just they are cute but they are cuddling.My dogs make me laugh,when were playing he always make a funny moment when we play everywhere i throw the ball he run for it even if he smash at the wall.Were both having a exercise good benefits for me and for him,were both walking around the park.He helps me find a new friend because when we walk in the park many people is come with as and say "A good dog he so sweet" and thats the way when we meet someone.Thats are the reason why i love or favorite is dog.

I would always go for a dog not only for the reason that it can pose that fearsome presence at home but as a result of the fact that it relates more with the owner than a cat. The major work of a cat in a home, especially for us living in Nigeria, is to chase rats away from the home, so I won't think twice before picking dog ahead of a cat.

Dogs are perfect and preferable to me in all ramifications. As much as I would agree that cats are cool but I definitely wouldn't be choosing them over a dog.

I believe that it's just as you said Beverly, one personality has a way in making them have a preference for a particular set of pet. This is practically applicable to me, I have a thing for dogs that I simply cannot explain. I just feel so at home with them around me than any other pet.

Dogs are more homely and comfortable being around with in my opinion, they can be of some help in arranging of the house if you had yours trained well. And dogs are very good with baby sitting, I practically see this as an added advantage of owning a dog as a pet.

Recently, I saw a photo of a dog and a cat on facebook. The caption under the dog read, "You pet me, you love me, you feed me, you must be a God." The caption under the cat read,"You pet me, you love me, you feed me, I must be a God."
Dogs and cats, both make good pets, however, they have different begavior and temprement. You cannot tame the cat fully, he may not always follow your order. However, the dog will always be your slave, you can make it do what ever you want.

It actually depends on you preference. I'd still take a dog over a cat in any day, I grew up with a dog that helped me through tough times. Nothing can replace the comfort of a dog and that would be on my personal preference.

I am a cat lover as well, I like cats because are loving and smarter than a dog, still, I have a dog, two turtles, an aquarium with fish, six pigeons and a few birds .... what can I say, I am a pet lover.
