Do you serve drinks at your own party?

Do you prepare the drinks for your party guests, or have an open bar where your guests can prepare their own drinks?

I wouldn't be a good bartender. I tend to request my guests to bring what they would like to drink, including mix. If the mix is pop, then I can provide it, but if they require certain liqueurs, or other related drinks they are always welcome to bring what they want.

I would have to say that they could bring their own drinks as then they are able to have what they please to drink.

No,I served them my. own cocktail. I think it wouldn't be nice allowing guest served themselves. so I do it myself.

We only have family type occasions, so it's just soda and family friendly drinks not anything you can get at a bar.

I would prefer serving drinks at my party instead of having to let my guest drink at a bar. The reason is simply just to count my expenses well and know how much drinks that my money can afford. The reason for that is to avoid issues of over spending in a single party which is not good when one takes a look at the current economic situation in Nigeria.

I plan out my parties to know if it is an event I should really go on with or one I should let go so as not to spend beyond my means just to impress people.

Yes i do, But that is only if i'm in another party. Usually when we host the party i do help out on distributing everything to the guest.

Yes, I make my own cocktails whenever there's a party before but I rarely do this now. The cocktail that I do is called, "Badtrip." It surely tastes really good but you need to drink it slowly because it's a traitor. It's made from vodka, white rum, gin, blue curacao and pineapple juice. Once you try it, I'm sure you'll recommend this at your own party. Do you serve drinks at your own party?

I do. I don't think there is any issue with that. I make sure to share stuff with the people. And I don't mind serving. I have done the work of serving. So that can be surely one good way to learn things around. I am perfectly fine doing socializing on that part. It works out just fine for me.

Usually, I serve and attend my guests. But lately, I've noticed they like to have drinks in their own personal way, so I rather buy all that they like, put it in a table, and they can mix, add, shake, the way they want it. If I'm having a party, where I'm serving an specific drink/cocktail like cream punch, mojitos, pina colada, sangria, then I prepare those, serve them, and they can add any extra thing they like to the basic one I'm giving them. Honestly, they always end up making them stronger, because I'm very soft preparing drinks.

I don't drink and I am not good at preparing drinks. If I am hosting a big party then I usually hire a bartender to serve the drinks. However, I rarely organize big parties. My friends are aware that I don't drink and very often they are the ones who bring the drinks at my place.
