Do you like fiction told from multiple points of view?

Whenever I'm reading a book, I like stories that only have one or two points of view, but only if those views are featured in their own scene. I don't want the point of view to be switching back and forth between the characters in an omipresent way, so that you know the thoughts of all characters.

I don't like it when they are switched back and forth. too complicating to me.

If the writer took time to devote an entire chapter to one character's point of view, then that would be more acceptable and less confusing. In this way, the person who is running the scene is in the spotlight and everything is seen from their point of view.

It does not bother me as long as the story is interesting. And I am into the book.

Well, for me I like a well-detailed book to know the emotion of each character.I like a book written in that pattern even from reading the book, you can abstract one's character vividly and also attribute behavioral pattern to them.So mine is, be more detailed about characters, let it look as if the characters are vocal.

The one fictional story I'm working on has multiple points of views. From a writers standpoint, it can be confusing at times, as you don't want to mix the character's up and talk about one when you are actually describing another.

I don't mind it one bit. As long as it is not confusing them I am up for it.

If you are reading the story with interest you can catch every dialog frequently.

I think it's fine to have multiple points of view in fiction. I really don't mind it, as long as it keeps my interest and shows basis with their own point.

Yes, I like fiction told through multiple points of views. When the story is told through multiple points of views, we can see each face of a cube. However, a writer needs a great skill to write multiple points of view. He must have the ability to give a unique voice to each point of view. As a writer I have attempted to write stories in multiple points of view and I don't know whether I succeeded or failed.

I like movies and the TV series which are told from the multiple point of view. That includes the TV series such as "Affair". As those type of the stories surely likely to bring some real value out of the content. It may not always be good enough for the fiction. But you can see that most of the multiple point of view type of the movies are definitely good enough. I am sure that if people were to watch some murder mysteries from such POV type plot. It can be good in many ways.

I really like this type of writing and storytelling in general (in movies and tv shows too) but it's not too popular. A song of ice and fire is written like that and it is my favorite book series of all time. It makes the books more interesting and you can see how the characters think.

Yes, yes, yes. I do, when a story is told from different points of view, no matter how fictional or real it is. That show us the kind of perception that comes from every character. One of my favorite plots, are the ones where you are kind of following different stories from every character, but in the end they're all part of a big story that involve all of them. Also, I do like when is not a predictable plot, but in fact your are shocked at the end of the book.
