Which program do you use to do your graphics and why?

When making a banner, flyer, cd cover, or any kind of graphics which software do you use? I guess the answer may depend on what operating system you use. Maybe it depends on what your budget is or your computer quality. when do graphic work i use photo chop CS6 in combination with light room. Why do i use these two programs? Well photoshop has so many features and the possibilities are endless. Photoshop is also very popular, The best part is if your stuck or don't know how to do something you can always g to youtube to find out. Lightroom is more for touching photos up and making them sharp and clear. I love it because developing photos in this program is VERY easy to do. Thanks for reading.

Jkeyz2 I can't figure out any programs like Photoshop, I have tried a number of times and all that happened every time is that I got so frustrated and wasted my time.

I have since found Canva and while it is certainly not the most professional program out there it is so simple that I manage to successfully use it. I do all my own images for my websites and while it is not my strongest talent by a long shot I get by.

I would love to be earning enough one day that I can just have my own image designer and say what I want and have a stunning professional image handed over to me in a few minutes but I am not quite there yet!

You know anything is possible and i love the fact that you have goals to make your own "Photoshop". I think if you go into it trying to learn every aspect it will be so overwhelming that you will give up. The best way to learn Photoshop is to watch videos on YouTube in your spare time. I don't mean go out and find a crash course i mean research the things you need first. For example people are always looking for sellers to cut them out of a background or whiten teeth. So go to Youtube and find a video on how to do these things individually, once you do it a few times you wont need a video anymore. then move onto the next thing so on and so on until you are a master at photoshop.

No you misunderstand me Jkeyz2... designing is NOT something I have an aptitude for! My sister is arty and studied graphic design. She tried on numerous occasions to teach me how to use Photoshop with zero success.

I like Canva, quick and easy. I call it my program for designing images for dummies Which program do you use to do your graphics and why?

Photoshop all the way, I'm really a beginner, still learning, I don't need to edit or create stuff very often but I won't use anything else.

Are you using a new or old version of Photoshop? - In case you're using a new one. Have you used the older versions too? - As a beginner, which one of them do you prefer?

I wouldn't go that far to say that I'm a beginner because I'm not. I've been using Photoshop for about 10 years or so, but I still use 7.0 as I believe it's the best program I've ever used. - The newer versions seems so confusing to me.

I use Photoshop. I've always used it. - But, I'm oldschool so I use Photoshop 7.0. I just can't bare with the new versions of Photoshop and I don't know why. I don't like them at all. Photoshop 7.0 is easy, to the point and perhaps I'm just good enough with that, so I'll keep using that version instead of newer ones. Perhaps I haven't given the newer ones a fair chance but I can't find a reason to do it. - I love photoshop 7.0 and as long as I can do whatever I need to do using that, I won't change.

CS6 is one of the best versions i have used and i love it. If you can get your hands on a free trial or a limited version so you can try it. They also offer cloud CS6 which you can pay monthly for and cancel at anytime. I agree its a bit of a learning curve from the older programs but it works flawlessly. Give it a try you will probably love it. Thanks for sharing.

I can't say for sure, but I believe it was CS6 I tried.. Or 5? - I don't know and it doesn't really matter. I've tried some of the new versions and I just don't like it.. I'm think I'm too comfortable with the old Adobe Photoshop 7.0. - However, I should probably go with something newer than that.. And I know that it would be worth the time I spent learning it.

I have made alot of things using photoshop such as cd covers, flyers, banners, teeth whitening, and more! I have never used any other program besides photoshop so I can not really compare the two programs.

When I used photoshop, it was easy to figure out, although there is so mich much on there!

Which version of Photoshop did you use or are you using? - Have you tried the old version, 7.0? - Do you use the new version CS6? - Any thoughts on those two?

Which one do you prefer in case you've tried them both? Which program do you use to do your graphics and why?

I often use Adobe Photoshop, the CS6 one. I find it very good in editing or photo manipulating photos. It also has a very friendly user interface which is good for beginners if they which to embark on using Photoshop. Although some people have recommended that I switch to Adobe Ai but I've tried it once and it was okay, but not just for me I guess.

The programs that I often use to do my graphics are Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. These two software are the only things I needed to make a simple yet amazing designs. But the software I'm currently using and the software I mostly used is the Photoshop which is a CS6 version. I did so many projects with this software, I remember making or editing my sister her campaign ad project in school and it turned out pretty well.

I use Photoshop everytime i edit pictures for uploads in social medias or any sites i want to. The very first application i used in photo editing before Photoshop is Photoscape. This is kind of go to rush application because it has a built-in features of effects where in you can easily pick for the design of your picture. Photoscape is good but only it has limited features and tools unlike Photoshop where you can find anything you need. Photoshop really takes time to memorize and familiarize the tools inside. But if i were you, if you are planning to be a graphic designer or even Photo editor and want to enhance a lot in your image, use Photoshop and it is the most advisable photo editor by professionals.
