I have some good news guys, We have a new pizza player in town. Believe it or not the pizza is good and it comes out of a gas station! Irving gas is selling pizza pies 11 bucks for 2 pies with 1 topping each between 4-6pm everyday. The food is not good from gas stations usually and i don't recommend anything but the pizza. Today me and my wife just didn't feel like cooking and this is an easy cheap way to cheat on dinner. I heard that more gas stations are starting to offer food like this. Some places are offering chicken and other full course meals. What do you think about this? I have always known gas station food to be disgusting but have things changed? Do you have Irving next to you?

around here, thre arent many places that have "good" pizza. and what i mean by "good" pizza is a pie that has a nice crispy crust, a sauce that isnt too sweet (gross), and fresh mozzarella! living up here in north country, there aren't alot of pizza specialists....lol something is always off with the pizza around here. im glad we took a risk with the Irving pizza, because it is actually one of the better pizzas around here!

Mike, we do make our own homemade pizza but it takes time to make, especially when you use a special homemade sauce!!! yumm! Im Italian, so im not a huge fan of jarred sauce, like prego or ragu. i always make a fresh sauce for spaghetti and especially pizza!!!

Yes your pizza is awesome! Just no Velvetta cheese this time lol! I don't think people take pizza as serious as we do.

I second that, no velvetta cheese please! I tried that once and never again. You think it'll be good but it makes the entire pizza taste odd. I've made a couple of pizzas in my life. Some turned out to be good, others not so good. One of my best tries was garlic bread pizza.. it was amazing. Irving gas station best price on pizza

When I used to live in Virginia, I use to go down to the 7/11 to buy a gas station pizza that cost just $5. The pizza wasn't that good, but it was for $5. Could you imagine a medium sized pizza just for $5?! In fact, I think the $5 pizzas were such a hit that the local pizza places started to have deals like 2 medium 2 topping pizzas for 5.99 each, or 6.99 each. It really makes you wonder what their profit margin is on pizza making. That is the only gas station pizza I have ever tried, and there are no irvings here.. Do you have a Valero, Royal Farms, or a Wawa?

we only have Irving gas stations, Cumberland farms, and a few mom and pop ones. we live in a really small town..lol

Seems like a really really small small town. Lol. Never heard of irving gas stations, or cumberland farms. I live in a beachy type area.. the beach is just down the street from me, probably a 2 to 3 minute car ride with no traffic.. We have the Valero, Royal Farms, 7/11, Wawa, and basically many more gas stations all competing with their gas prices within a short distance. It's pretty great because gas is always like 20 cents cheaper here because they are all competing for the cheapest price.

lol yea we have only 10,000 people here...we are about one hour away from Canada and forty five minutes to an hour away from and highways...lol yes pretty small town. we have only been 4 years, i grew up in a way bigger town.!!

Gas station quick stops or qwik-e-marts have great processed snack foods but I doubt I'd take any pizza from them. As a New Yorker we know what great pizza tastes like. I doubt a gas station store pizza would be any good beyond a long road trip craving type of thing. I'd be more interested in their energy drink prices actually. Can never get enough of those things.

I don't joke with the reduction on prices of pizza. I started taking pizza a few months ago and I must say that it has been nice for me and one that I don't pass a week without going to the pizza store to buy. Great that they are giving discounts on that.

11 bucks for two pieces is a very good price, here in my country a pizza costs 8 dollars and sometimes there is an offer that for a pizza you receive a free cola at 330 ml.
