Galaga...The Best Old Game To Play!

So if you guys didn't already know, i used to like to play video games alot as a kid and even as a teenager. I also loved playing arcade games!! Galaga was and still is my all time favorite arcade game to play either right in an arcade or even better, in my own living room!!

So for anyone who doesnt know about Galaga, i will give you a little history first. Galaga is a Japanese shoot em up arcade game which was developed and published in 1981 in North America! It is actually the sequel to the game Galaxian. So basically, Galaga's gameplay has the player in control of a little space ship at the bottom of the screen, with these bug alien looking things coming out in groups at the beginning of each level and they're trying to shoot, capture or even crash into the space ship. You start off with 3 spaceships and if those enemy bugs capture you or destroy you, you lose a spaceship and once all 3 are lost, game over. You receive points for shooting the enemy bugs, once you defeat them all you advance o a little bit more difficult level. The game keeps track of your score and also high scores that are achieved.

It really is a simple game to play and is super addicting. My husband and I, back before we had any children, could sit and play this game for hours competing with each other trying to beat the others high score! LOL We haven't played in so long and now i really want to play! HAHA i will have to figure out a way to get it on my xbox one!!! =]

I have not played these arcade games for a long time. There are actually many excellent classic games but I would try to install them onto my PC and fail to run the application.

Me too, haven't played this old game yet, but this game reminds me of the old ever wing game which you actually play on an arcade machine and then Facebook has revive them and makes it a official game on Facebook messenger. Games likes this are probably thrilling and exciting where you need to think fast in order to achieve something or your goal in the mission.

I absolutely love this game. I will admit to a guilty pleasure--the dentist office where my son goes to is designed specifically for kids. There is an arcade style free Galaga machine there, so every time my son goes to the dentist, and I am off work, I insist on going so that I can furiously play away on this machine. I really grew up loving that game, and I am years old now and still not tired of it.

I would have to disagree. I think the best old game is Super Mario. This game was immensely popular back in the 90s and made computer gaming mainstream. Only a few people remember Galaga. My only idea about the game is that it is a shooter type of game, like Twin Bee. If not Mario, then Tetris would be the best old game. Just my two cents.

Played this game in my pre-teen days when I was so addicted to playing games after school hours.I think it came out the same time with super Mario because I used to play the two simultaneously and I used to like spending time with my granny because he was a gamer and never saw the need to restrict me.

This is a funny game to me, it's not that appealing to my taste, although I have seen quite a few people that are well addicted to it.

I think it all borders on choice and individual differences. What tend to be fancied by someone would be displeasing to another. But to anyone that finds Gala games interesting, I wish you you have fun to the fullest. Happy gaming.

I used to play that when I was a kid. I love playing Galaga. I even played it in PC as NES. My grandmother also plays it too and that's her jam. That's one of my favorite family computer games.

I remember this game. It's really difficult too as you move to various stages. Last time I played it was about 2 years ago. I actually had it as part of my cable package games channel. Along with a few other oldies like Minesweeper.

I played this game when I was a kid. I alwyas play it in our family playstation. I didn't get bored in playing it. Even though it is hard to play, I challenge myself to finish each level and be the highest score.

I love this game, is one of my favorites because it remembers me of the past, this game was one of the first games I have played in the beginning. Now is overpassed but I would play it for the old times.

Oh retro games. I love it. I remember the times when I played in retro games like the First Final Fantasy or The elder scrolls. These games are awesome! I love the sounds of it, the atmosphere, and even the graphics! Yeah, the gaming industry has changed a lot and each year tells us this. However, I don't really like the fact that the newest games are pretty expensive and you can't really afford it. So I've decided to buy cd keys from such place like cdkeysforgames.com where sometimes is good discounts that afford you to buy more games than from the retail store. By the way, how do you think about it? Is it better for you?
