If you had the money would you get plastic surgery?

Let us a say you win a lottery or a long distant wealthy uncle leaves you a small fortune, Would you pay for a butt lift or a face lift or just whichever part of your body you don't like?
Personally, this is a no, no and not only because they have not worked out all the perks of the procedures. I mean I have seen the disasters most celebrities have created on their bodies. I really love my body and wouldn't change anything, I feel as though the bad stuff is what makes you unique.
If everyone looks like a barbie, then barbie ceases to be a fantasy. If I were to get some w0ork done I would definitely wait for the professionals to work out why most of the procedures go south. I would rather look 60 than a 24-year-old lizard.LOL
Anyway, that is my opinion what do you think?

I have not issues with what I have been blessed with and even if I had the money I would not go for plastic surgery. Finally it is not the looks but our nature will reflect in our looks however 'defective' any of the features would be.

No offense or anything but in my opinion, I will not undergo plastic surgery even if I have a trillion money. Maybe I can enhance my skin by going to spa for a scrubs but I will not allow anybody to change my features because I believe that this is a God given gift and whatever He gave to you even if someone tells you that you're ugly you have to accept it and be contented of it. Best of all, is the attitude, if you're confident enough that you are beautiful and have a kind heart then you are beautiful for sure.

If I have the money, I will definitely not get plastic surgery. There are several reasons on why I choose not to get plastic surgery. Firstly, I am fine and confident with how I look. I am average looking. Secondly, plastic surgery does not make you natural looking. Not all surgeons can operate well and there may be health risks as well. Thirdly, I rather use my money for other things like traveling, investing in businesses, or even buying property. Plastic surgeries also need some upkeep. There may be instances where repeat surgeries are required depending on the type of cosmetic surgery done previously.

No matter how much money I had, I wouldn't consider plastic surgery. Now, I definitely don't appreciate all the aspects of my appearance, though on a whole I like myself pretty well, there are a few things that I wish I were born differently with. However, it's all these aspects of me that make me... me. Graceful or not, I believe in aging as I am. I try to take care of myself, eating healthy, drinking lots of water, getting some exercise and enough sleep. I think it's kind of fun to see where little wrinkles come in (mostly laugh lines so far) and white hair (so far, I have a streak in my bangs, a little like Rogue from the X-Men). I think plastic surgery is both risky and a waste of money. I have had a friend that had a face lift once and I helped take care of her for a couple weeks afterwards. Draining the goo from her face that collected in tubes was admittedly gross. If at that point I had any considerations to do a face lift of my own someday, well they were most certainly set aside forever.

It's amazing you understand the need not to venture into plastic surgery for any reason whatsoever. I still don't understand the reason people do such which shows that they don't appreciate the life that God gave them which is bad. It's good that you're realized that life is all about appreciating our imperfections and trying to live a life of happiness.

Haha no. I just don't find plastic surgery very appealing. I read the other day an article about that guy that's trying to become human Ken? I forgot his name but even the doctors are telling him to stop having the surgeries but he keeps going... I think that one day he will die from pushing it too far. And the worst thing? It's expensive as hell AND he doesn't even look good, it is too much.

I don't mind if other people get some plastic surgery done but it isn't for me. I am happy with who I am and I feel comfortable in my body. I wouldn't want to change a thing!

I have to agree. I find it weird that some people would spend so much money to look like an unnatural alien. They have their freedom to do that but I will not do such procedures which might bring risks to my health too. I am fine with being natural.

Of course , if i had the money i would get a plastic surgeon to look like myself again lol, why would i get a plastic surgeon to change my personality or change who i was meant to be? huh,
Why care about the looks when you can't change who you are.
But if you are in a situation in which you have a skin disease like Michael Jackson, then it wouldn't be bad to get a plastic surgeon.

If I am to own lots of money then I would definitely have a complete plastic surgery. It's not that I hate myself, it's just my face but not that much. How great would it be if I would look like someone who's like a fairy or a goddess? I seldom dream myself being perfectly beautiful, however, it's only in dreams. So if I have so much money I would change the way I look like and makes those dreams a reality.

Haha, no way. I have always said that most people that have plastic surgery end up looking a lot worse. There are a few people that sometimes do improve their features with plastic surgery but it's just temporary because as you get older, it does start to look worse. Personally, I'm happy with the way that I look so I would never have plastic surgery. The only time I would ever have plastic surgery is if I get into an accident and my face gets disfigured.

For me, money wouldn't really be the main issue, although that's not to say I could afford it now even if I wanted to. I am just really afraid of the procedure and also I am skeptical that I will get the exact result as I imagine. If I could guarantee that I will not feel pain and that I will get the best result possible, I'd maybe consider it a lot more. That said, I am still fine enough with the way I look that I don't think I'd think about it that much even if I did have the money and reassurance. Whatever I feel like changing is just minor anyway but I do admit that when I see actors with well made plastic surgery, I get curious and maybe even a little jealous.

For me if i won in a lottery i will not spend it for my self to be popular or spend it for surgery. That is a waste of money for me.I think the best way to do is to find and to think on a good business.I think you won because not just you need it for surgery but you need for something that is very important.I think the people who do surgery is the one who have a tons of money and they do not know how to spend it because of so many money that they have.Spend wisely dont just be "A One day Millionaire".Think twice before un spend or buy anything.Think if you need it or not.You need to work hard before you have a million of dollar.Thats why if you win and give a chance to have a very big money you need to spend it wisely.

In my opinion, I'd choose not to do a plastic surgery or anything that may result in changing any parts of my body. I am contented on what I am and what I am capable of. If you want to improve yourself, do it in the right way and not the easy way. Have a confidence in yourself and you can prove to the world that you don't need a plastic surgery just to be notice by others.

It's great to see that you appreciate what God gave you which is the mindset I wish everyone should have as well. It's not just cool to see people talking about not liking their skin color or stuffs like that for it makes it look as what God created is bad. We should cherish things about us always.

You can have confidence without having plastic surgery just be true to yourself and appreciate your own appearance.

Absolutely not, I believe in aging gracefully and part of it is to stay healthy and lots of exercising to maintain a young looking body. Unless the procedure is to be done to correct part of my body in case of an injury, I would not advocate for one to go for a nip and tuck procedure. I love to look natural, just what God blessed me with.

If I had the money, I doubt I would waste it on plastic surgery. I am 45, and I look ok for my age, I guess, but I am old-fashioned, and plastic surgery has never interested in me. I am not so vain that I think I can fight off mother nature forever, and I don't want to be some sad old men who is getting whispered about behind his back because it is obvious I have had a facelift while everything else is sagging from decades of what gravity can do.

We should appreciate every little things we have because that make us unique and different from one another. Love who you are and for some, respect others as you want yourself to be respected.

No, I like my body and every part of it. If I was created this way was for a reason and we need to accept our imperfections because that makes us perfect. Also, plastic surgery brings a lot of responsibilities and dangers. Sometimes, the surgery couldn't be accepted by our body and, because our body is rejecting the change, it can bring us a lot of health problems.

I would never do plastic surgery. Even if i have lots of money its better if i use it in helping other people. I don't want to change anything in my body. Even if i have imperfections i am thankful to what god has given me. I should be accepted the way i am. And i don't have to please other people just by changing my looks. I want to be remembered by my good deeds and not by looks.

I would never have a plastic surgery. First of all, every surgery is a big risk as you can never wake up from it or something else can happen to you. Secondly, the "improvement" can actually look worse on your face. I know a person who had a nosejob and her new nose, although it looks okay as a nose itself, doesn't fit her face the same way the previous one did. Even if you have insecurities a plastic surgery is not a good option.

Of course I will do it. I live in a country where women need to be perfect or at least close to perfection. I wouldn't change my face at all, I love the way it is but I'm not entirely confortable with my body, so why not doing it? if the money is not the problem and I want to do it, then there's no point in delaying confident. Also I worked as a nurse in a plastic surgery clinic so that might contributed to my opinion...

its a NO for me. I'm happy about the way I look.

I think there are two kinds of people who gets plastic surgery

1. first would be those in need of medical attention (burn victims, inborn physical defects , accident victims, etc..)

2. second would be those that want to enhance their looks, but for me if its not necessary (like for medical reasons) then that person having the surgery is just being insecure about him/her self. just my opinion..

If I won the lottery I'd enhance my physical health through various checkups and medicinesIf you had the money would you get plastic surgery?

Nope. I am not perfect but who is? The only surgery I have considered is laser eye surgery for my vision. I can see with glasses just fine but I honestly am getting tired of having to clean them and the obsessiveness that comes with it. Contacts are an option but they're super expensive depending on the prescription and strength level. Plus you have to re-up every month or two. It's a hassle. However, considering the increase in human incompetence I do not trust even the most skilled surgeon near my face with a laser. I've also read negative stories of people post lasik surgery. Like worse eye issues, new eye issues, headaches, problems seeing at night or on bright sunny days.

I think I would not do plastic surgery also, because for me it's just a physical appearance and I am contented of what God has given me. In our country there are too many people need help. I know that I have a lot of imperfections and I may not be the prettiest or the most beautiful guy but I am complacent of what I have I also understand the risks and dangers of getting a plastic surgery. If I’ve won, the lottery or let say had a lot of money I would not definitely do plastic surgeries. God made us what we are and we don’t have any other reason to change ourselves. We are all beautiful in our own ways. The beauty outside can be easily replaced or fade but the beauty inside cannot be fade or replaced ever. For me, it’s okay to have an ugly face but with a beautiful heart rather than having beautiful face but ugly heart.

Definitely not. If I'm one really ugly of that guy I might consider lol. I have confident on my looks and my physiques though and there's no need for me to change or enhance a particular part of my body. Lots of people especially those with lots of money will never be contented on what they have and will certainly spend most of their money and time thinking what if I try to change my chin, maybe my nose, my breast, or my butt but being true to your self is the only thing you'll need to have confidence when facing other people. I can't judge those people though as we had our own preferences and its his/her right on what he/she should do with his own life and money.

If I had a money, especially a big amount of money, I will definitely not waste it for just a plastic surgery. Because as a human we must be contented on what we have. Because God created us for a reason. We must not change what God has given to us. Our body is the temple of God if we destroy it we are destroying the temple of God. Because God is living inside our body and soul. So we must not change anything on our body. We must use our money in a responsible way. Like helping other people before yourself.

If I won the lottery, plastic surgery won't even cross my mind. LOL. For me i would spend it to more important things in life. I would love to have a permanent impact on my family like buying a house and lot. Invest to businesses and stocks. Buy lands. There are so many things I have in my mind that my physical appearance would be the last thing. I will be more contented in life when my family is happy and stable. I would prefer not to change anything in my physical appearance. Some people may say yes and we can't actually blame them because being beautiful or handsome is one of best thing it could happen to a person though all people are beautiful already we are all created beautifully by god. Also changing your appearance may actually change you where people who gets improved in their physical appearance change their attitude to other people sometimes they look down on people which is very annoying since they just got their beauty in artificial man made. So. for me if your going to change your physical appearance then try to change your attitude also in a positive way so that it can make you a better and beautiful person.

I think this is a very serious issue and should not be taken lightly. People get plastic surgery for various reasons. For poor self- esteem issues, for health reasons and for their careers. A few for purely cosmetic reasons. They are people who have a really big nose or really bad teeth and they are really conscious. It's actually the doctor's opinions that they have plastic surgery. We all know of girls who have boobs that are too heavy and hurt their backs. Guess what they need surgery to have them reduced. Celebrities rely on their looks to make money , so if need be they need to get plastic surgery . Their looks are tools. The same way you don't go to class without a pen or notebook. And when your pen or notebook is over, don't you just buy a new one?Plastic surgery is not purely for vanity. So I really wouldn't judge.

If I have the money to change anything in my physical appearance, that would only be in my teeth. I don't have the best set of teeth although I don't wear dentures, but I wanted to, I don't know what you call it, maybe just aligned my jaw so that when I yawn it doesn't click. Then instead of going under the knife, I will hire the best gym instructor that trains the celebrities. A few facials and body scrubs here and there but nothing surgical to change what I have. I used to hate my nose, but as I grow old, I am starting to appreciate the whole package of me. Personally, celebrities who are somehow addicted to plastic surgeries might have some sort of underlying problem that only manifests in how they look at themselves. Anyway, it's their choice, their money and their life, so I wouldn't bother judging them.

celebrities are doing that because they should be looking perfect all the time
especially in big screen TV and Movie. As an ordinary person I rather be

Most cosmetic procedures are vanity driven though. People have them done to 'keep' a relationship or marriage together. Or because they crave a certain level of attention they see others getting. The more normal ones are to repair something damaged in an accident, or a birth deformity that someone wants to be free of. Perfectly natural and understandable. But the ones where people get implants or lip jobs because they want to take more attractive selfies? It's quite insane.

When you have the money then yes this type of things can be done. But if you don't have the money then getting plastic surgery is kind of hard. And it is even more difficult to think about it. I have worked really hard and earned every cent of it. You can see that plastic surgery is more of a luxury for many people. And we have to find a way to see things that way. Not all people can afford it in their lifetime.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Constantly going under the knife isn't a luxury imo. The human body isn't a pin cushion. You can't keep cutting on it and putting unnatural objects into it without some terrible ramifications. Deadly infections being one of them. Age plays a factor also. People of a certain age cannot physically recover from plastic surgery as quickly as younger people can. Yes, there are those who have the funds to get cosmetic surgery, but that money would be better spent elsewhere. There are also people who are well off but soon fall into debt due to doctor bills from plastic surgeries. These procedures are very expensive, and can bankrupt rich people quite quickly.

If I had the money, I wouldn't go for plastic surgery. Aside from the risk involved, I don't like changing things from natural to artificial. I just like the way I am now. I wouldn't ever want to change my facial appearance just because I am stinkingly rich. This is against nature and can have some eternal implications. I have heard about people who tried it, but died in the process.

So, going the way of plastic surgery is not an option for me.

If I happen to be a billionaire, it would have resulted to complete foolishness on my own part to use my money doing plastic surgery unreasonably. I have noticed times without number how the rich in some parts of the world turn to something else by the way they spend their money and what they spend money on. Someone had tried doing plastic surgery some years ago, but that led to her death unfortunately. If I had got the money, I would have spent it rather on something of greater values.

I don't think that if I win a lottery or get money from an inheritance I will use it on Plastic Surgery to enhance my looks or other cosmetic purposes. However, the trend of getting plastic surgeries done is more prevalent in women than in men. Old age is a part of life and people should accept it gracefully. There is no point in going against the law of nature and put your health in risk by going through such painful procedures.

Anyway, agree with the previous commentor that if I inheritated a big amount of money I wouldn't even think of plastic surgery.. it would be the last thing that had come into my mind. However, I would do a rhinoplasty because I have trouble breathing since I fell and broke my nose some years ago... My mom even suggested me this site https://www.seattleplasticsurgery....-seattle-tacoma/ where she had done microneedling and said that the doctors are good. I think I'd give it a try if a had the money.
