Can games help you relax?

Games can let us drift off into our own world especially ones like Grand Theft Auto where you can just do whatever you want. So can these games help us relax especially during stressful periods? If you are stressed, then you can relieve some of it by driving along some of the less busy roads on GTA. You could even release some anger by going on a little rampage in the city. But it is probably important that you don't play multiplayer games as it tends to make people a lot more stressful and less relaxed if they keep losing to other players etc. Does anyone else play games to relax?

I'm a sort of a strange duck in that I do not play games. Now, that doesn't mean that I do not have multiple games installed on my computer but just that I do not PLAY them.
I rarely do anything that doesn't have some meaningful context attached to it so no, games definitely do not help me relax, but that said, they do help me to focus.

If it doesnt help me improve something about myself such as mathematics and memory skills it's just a useless endeavor that wastes time and energy and at my aging years, those two elements are not to be taken lightly.
Then again, I've never played at anything, so while some people may have fun During an event, I have my fun after realizing a degree of success after the fact. Then, I can relax.

Definitely. Although it depends on which game you are playing. I mostly playing 2d and offline games when I want to relaxed. Genres matter also. If you playing strategy games then it won't help you relax. I tend to play simulator games specially the Euro Truck Simulator. It is perfect for relaxing, and probably trying to fall asleep. Can games help you relax?

As a full-time working professional, I love to game after my working hours to relax and release steam. Gaming is an avenue for me to calm down. I especially enjoy playing Minecraft and Stardew Valley to wind down before sleep. These games are not that intensive and allow me to play at my own pace. My other go-to game for relaxing purpose would be Football Manager game. I like it as there's not really much to control. All I need to do is just click and adjust settings and I will get a result. I would usually play these games alone in a quiet environment.

Yes, it depends on the type of game but usually they really help me relax. When I want to relax I won't play hard platformers obviously, like Crash N Sane Trilogy. That game sometimes drives me crazy. I like games with a big map that deserves to be explored, that type of activity really calms me down. Fighting games in which I excel at are nice too, because destroying everyone also destroys stress Can games help you relax?

Yes, it can distract you from your worries temporarily, however I recommend you play the more relaxing game like Harvest Moon or the Sims, basically games about life, don't play heavy games, it will only increase your stress.

Well, Stardew Valley is an excellent game to play. I guess some of those clicker games can also help to relax. I find that Sims 4 is really a chill game and there are plenty of user made content as well.

Yes, you're right. I've been playing sims and harvest moon for years now and now I have it on my phone. It makes me relax and excited when I'm playing them and it makes me forget the things I don't what to think about.

I play offline games whenever I am bored . Online games is fun but will get hooked when obsessed on winning against the other opponent. I prefer to play single player games, such as Gardenscape or any time management games which does not cause anxiety or anger when losing. Games help me to feel relax after a day of household chores and yelling at my kids!

Basically, yes for me. Whenever I'm stressed, I try to play some Candy Crush or any strategy game, and I will feel better. I guess is because I put all my attention on it, so I forget or get some rest from my troubles. What I can't do is to play for so long, otherwise I will get pretty involved in the game, and I will feel stress if I'm loosing. I just play for a while, get some relax, and then I go back to whatever I need to solve.

Of course games can help you relax, that's what helps me to cool my nerves after a horrible day at work or after a stressful day and even after exchanging words with someone or at logger head with another person. I will just get into my room turn on the console and start transferring my aggression to the console and the team am playing against or my opponents and doing that sends the chill down my spine. and makes me relax and have a little joy evolving from within as i romance the pads.

Playing games is one way for me to release my stress. Gaming is such a fun thing and relaxing to do, that's why a lot of people love games and are so into games that they become addicted to it. I usually do games involves a car, hahaha! I just love racing it's so much exciting, you can be as reckless as possible you wanted to be in driving since it's only a game.

For me, it depends on the game. Some games I find too stressful to relax to, so I tend to just stay away from those since I only really ever play to relax as I don't really care much about finishing any one particular game. Mostly, this is what I dislike with FPS games. I get why some people can find that relaxing, but for me, having to keep track of missions, weapons and upgrades just stresses me out more, which I guess is why I play a lot more on my tablet nowadays instead of a console.

I would be stressful when I play a game, but only for puzzle games. When I play, like pineapple game in phones (referred from Pineapple music
video), it would instead excite me to play more often than to feel
relax. I saw a lot of people doing it, as a relaxing purpose than
entertainment.
My little sister doing it as fun, and she feels more relax when ever she played minecraft . Starting in the morning until noon, all she did was tapping on phone
playing and then fall asleep. Still, it depends of every individual way of relaxing, some of them spend stuff like playing to avoid being bored all way along.

Yes of course! Games can make me relax not to mention that I am a certified gamer. When I'm bored or stress at worked, I played games and my favorite game at all is GTA San Andreas. If I'm going to choose between sleeping and playing after work, I think I want to play first before going to sleep. You should try it too for you to find what I mean about relaxation while playing a game.

Back in the days playing games was a big stress reliever for me. There's something about zoning in to a virtual world and being engrossed into the sounds and the graphics and the strategy that just takes my mind away from all the daily hullabaloo that would take up space in my head. I would say yes games help relieve stress but be careful because people have been known to get addicted to games and this in the long run causes even more stress. Keep the balance and enjoy the reality of relieving stress through playing your favorite games every now and then.

I love playing games on my computer, tablet, and my phone. My games of preference are hidden object games. I suffer from fibromyalgia and have brain fog quite often, so I like to play these type of games to keep my mind fresh. This is certainly a way to relax and I have two left thumbs (not literally) and am horrible with games that require a joystick. I love games such as Candy Crush or Juice Jam which requires me to use strategy and challenges my mind. Although it can sometimes be mind boggling, after a hard day at work it really is relaxing. I get a kick out of sending my friends a post that I beat them on a certain level. There's nothing like a little friendly competition right? I think everyone on this post agrees that playing games no matter what format is a lifesaver for all of us.

I'm not a gamer but i know and play other games, pokemon and everwing is my recent games. But i'm starting to get bored. i usually play word games and card games. It can help me improve my vocabulary and focus. It's just my way of exercising my mind. Though it's not really my way of relaxing. When i play other games that needs fighting etc. i don't find it relaxing cause i got disappointed when i lose. Hahahah.. bad attitude i know. But it's what i feel so i just don't play those kinds.

Yes it can, definitely, but not all the times. If you treat gaming as a hobby or a way to past the time, then why not? It would surely make you forget about your real world worries and will help you in relaxing those nerves of yours. No matter the type of game you are playing as long as you play it casually and/or occasionally then there would be no problem.

The problem here is the saying: "Too much of everything is bad" also applies here, once you go way past normal gaming hours it wouldn't be as relaxing as you thought it'd be. You'll feel as thought the game would be your world, you'll be more competitive than even, you'll feel as if being able to just play the game isn't enough. All those things combined together will result in an exhaustion from playing but will still make you want to play more. After all that you'll realized you've just wasted so much time on that game thinking you could've done something else worthwhile. Finally you'll feel empty (in case the game has an ending), and start thinking of what-ifs, or maybe what you could've done better in your life.

Now that's a bit going way too far (LOL). Anyway, if you are thinking of relaxing, playing games could be worth your while to at least keep your mind occupied and thinking instead of just resting.

I have found that some of the games do help with the condition of the mind. And if you are depressed and unhealthy then it can be possible to get it to relax yourself. And in order to do that you have to play with the games which suits your mood. Avoid playing games which are too stressful. And which requires too much thinking. As those games are what makes it harder for you to get out of the stress.

So in general I have found that it's possible to relax yourself in different type of the context. You can surely get yourself to relax. That always helps as well.

Simple games like Bricks could help me relax, other complicated games only get me more intense, especially when the game forces me to focus more and play fast, my friend has all kinds of consoles and he made me play on all of them, but I kept coming back to the old school games.

Feeling you here either. Games where I don't have like a time limit, where I can get creative and use my strategy are my thing to get relaxed. Otherwise, if I play games about competitions or chasing, I will get stressed about reaching the goal, leveling up, and I won't relax at all.

Yes games make me relaxed and pressured at the same time. It is just depends on the type of game you are playing. Because some games are designed not to make you relaxed but to make you anger and give more interesting to it. But what I am playing helps me relaxed especially when I am bored and nothing to do. It make's my mind to be cool and make my brain to learn as well. It teaches me to be calm and relaxed. Gaming also make's me interested. It is only based on the type of game you are playing.

They can. I think when your are fully stress and nervous you could play some game that you love or like to play so, that way you would have the serenity and calm that you need. But, it will only help if you only concentrate on the game you have to clear your mind, no phones allowed. It is an effective way to gain the peace you want to.

It is actually depends on the movie you are playing because sometimes playing games can get you mad hahaha like when you are losing in the game, you can't pass a certain stage, can't complete a mission and so on. I have already experience this things which is really quite funny when I remember. I actually throw stuff when things like this happened to me, I don't know but it is just me hahaha but I'm sure I'm not the only one. But some games surely can make you relax like my favorite Sims 2, 3 or 4, these games can make me relax since I'm not betting or playing against with someone just playing. Yeah it really depends on the game you are playing.

Games can definitely help you relax. If you love games, then it's gonna help you relax after a hard day's work or after coming home from school. If you're doing something that you enjoy, then that's gonna help you relax. Games are so entertaining and will keep you company for hours on end. Games have so much variety that it's impossible to get bored playing games. However, just like in anything you do, you need to play in moderation though or else it's just gonna stress you out.

It depends on what type of game you will play. If you will play a multiplayer game (like LOL and DOTA2), trust me, it will give you more stress than relaxation. In this type of games, there are plenty of salty players so it's a big no no if you want to relax. Just play casual games like Candy Crush or any puzzle game. It will boost your memory capacity and it will make you more relaxed. You can also try simulation games, tycoon games and musical games. I advised that you must play games during your spare time because it will make you happy and you will enjoy your life more.

I totally disagree with this because for me as a gamer it doesn't make me relax, instead it makes me angry and maybe we can say it as a stress. I Don't know maybe I just played a game that make me stress maybe it just depends on what type of game you are playing. I am playing DOTA 2 I know some of you experienced stress of this game because you will feel nervous angry and sometimes maybe makes you frustrated because of your teammate and you lose the game because of these toxic player. So it just depends of the game you are playing but for me maybe it doesn't make me relax. I played a lot of type/kind of games I always get angry and stressed sometimes frustrated.

It all depends on the game. If I am stressed then I avoid playing fighting and strategy games as they make me feel worse. Some of the games that make me feel relaxed are Two Dots, Prune and Monument Valley. I play those games on my smartphone and never get bored playing them. They help to improve my mood and make me happier. I will highly recommend anyone to try those games.

Well it depend on the game. If you want to relax your mind free your stress, then find a game that is more on entertainment rather than missions.
Playing games may somehow relieved your stress because it divert your attention on the game rather than the problem that you have.

I think no. I believe that the only reason to be relax is by resting, and GAMING IS NOT RESTING. While playing a game, my whole body is active just like in other activities so there's definitely no resting in this. Whenever a real gamer starts playing, all the instincts, the senses and even feelings arise consuming a lot of energy. It is not noticeable to the gamer during that time, because the brain is also focused on one thing only. Gamers can last for so many hours just holding the same things and doing the same actions repeatedly and continuously without feeling tired, but still not relax. Specially in the moment of fight scenes, a gamer can pour all of the efforts and energy just to win and its not relaxing.

Gaming is my way of taking away my boredom every time I feel lonely and disappointed. I can positively say that it helps me relax and comfortable. Every time I get burned out on my work all im doing is take a break and play some games and it feels like refreshing after that. I believe this how other game lover feels too. Being grew up playing and exposed to games gives us peace of mind relaxing our entire soul.

It sure is what I feel after a hard day's work. It's like playing some game would make you feel good and up and running once again. Playing games while eating snacks and laying back, wooo.. one of the best moments in our lives. Can games help you relax?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have always played games for the relaxation factor. The best games that will help you to relax and calm down after a stressful everyday life are usually the ones where you can completely immerse yourself into - genres like RPG and so on. I'd probably advise against FPS for relaxation because most often they can lead to frustration if you get shot by the enemy Can games help you relax?

But yeah. I have been gaming for a long time and after an hour of playing certain games - Skyrim, Fallout, and similar, I have never felt tense anymore. They just completely make me forget about the problems and I feel amazing after. Plus they are extremely fun!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

RPG games are a good way to relax but just make sure that you don't get hooked. And I would also recommend offline RPG games because if you do the online ones, you might feel like you are being competitive and it sometimes contradicts to the relaxation purpose since you will feel challenged. Well at least that's how I would feel.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I totally agree here.
I think that I have always used RPG games as a way to escape my own harsh reality and to engulf myself into a fantasy world for a while. Your advice about not getting hooked is good; I have been surprised, on more than one occasion, when I look at the time and realize how long I had been playing a game. The game still relaxes me, but sometimes I can get into a state of lost time in my relaxation and really take it just a little bit too far.

I for one am 100% positive that games can help you relax, because that is exactly why I play them! Of course this is going to depend on the genre that you're playing, but there are many games out there that can do wonders in terms of easing stress. For example, I've really been enjoying the game Stardew Valley. For one thing the music and art are very charming and chilled out, but the gameplay is what takes the cake. It's low stress gameplay where you've been put up to the task of bringing your grandfather's old farm back to life and saving the community you're living in. It may sound stressful but it's really not, as the game revolves around farming, mining, fishing, crafting and building relationships with the NPC's. I've sunk hundreds of hours into the game and each one was very chill.

Somehow playing games, particularly e games, helps to practice our peripheral vision and other senses too. However it might also create health problems associated with long hours of engagement. i also play game for one or two games only then I would get back to my work. it relaxes me somehow..

Absolutely! I don't play video games too often anymore, but every once in a while it's nice to sit down and just let everything go while you play. I've been a huge fan of tycoon and simulation games since I was little, and it never fails to help me take my mind off of things when I play Rollercoaster Tycoon. Something about getting your own amusement park up and running and watching everything come together is very therapeutic. Maybe it's the business man in me?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I love Rollercoaster Tycoon too. I guess some games can be deemed as relaxing even if it involves strategy since the pace is pretty dependent on us. Have you tried Planet Coaster?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have not played Planet Coaster yet, but I have a friend who love it. He's been trying to get me to get it, but I'm waiting for it to go on sale on Steam again before I snatch it up. I've played Rollercoaster Tycoon for so long that I can pretty easily get a profitable theme park going in no time, which make it more of a casual game for me than a challenging one.

What about you, have you played Planet Coaster? And if so, what do you think of it?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have not tried it yet. I am currently tied up with other games. My friends kept nagging me to play this game though but I would not like to purchase it unless I have the time to spare to play this game. I have many games sitting untouched in my Steam library so I will just wait for the next Steam sale to decide.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I like these types of games as well. On the surface, it might not seem all that relaxing since you are dealing with a game that is almost like running a business, but since there is nothing really on the line, there is not that much pressure to win and that can be very therapeutic since you get to focus on something without having to worry. I think dialing in and having that much focus on a game can be tiring, but in a good way, and in the end you come out somewhat relaxed despite maybe being a bit mentally tired from it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Some games can help you relax but most of it are not. Because most of games have strategic plans especially in MOBA games your mind can't relax while playing this game because all your senses are working for example your eye and hand coordination. You must able to maintain that to have a good game play and also being alert. When we say relaxing it is the time that you put yourself in rest not only your body but also your mind.

They can help you relax but it depends of the genre of the game. If you would like to relax it's better to not get into a battle/fighting kind of game because you could end up even more frustrated than you were at the beginning. In my case, one of the games that help me to chill is one the racing ones, taking a car and racing against others can be really fun for me, so when I need to "disconnect" for a bit, this is my choice.

Playing a football manager game has helped know the different formations they have in football and how each one works with tactics. So, I agree with you on the fact that playing games help one to relax.

But later then, I realised that it kind of addicting, my brain tends to seek video games even if I was not feeling bored.

Definitely but not those kind of games like GTA where you can go wild and kill people especially for kids. There can be lots of games out there not only in a platform or console type of players but also in computer where you can forget about the stress of work unwind and relax with. Instead of hurting people I'm annoyed with, games would be my better way to release the tension that is welling up inside me. It depends on game you are playing. If you are playing games like dota2 and you have play mates that are toxic, you will get stressed and mad. I agree with you, playing GTA can relax a person but not all I think. I agreed because this is also what I do when I want to relax, because playing GTA is not hard to play and you can do what you want to do and I am having fun playing it. I also play nba2k to relax, maybe other will react that this is not a relaxing game, but I play nba2k and I dont take it seriously, I dont care if I win or not, I will just enjoy the game and that's it.

I don't think games can help you relax. In fact, according to my experience, games make you more intense. However, if your mind is disturbed, games will help you forget things that have been disturbing you. When you play games, your hand muscles will get become intense, your neck will start burning, you may even feel burning sensation in your eyes. The only benefit of a game that I see is it will keep you engaged. When you don't have anything substantial to do, start playing a game and you won't notice how fast time flies.

Depending on the game, yes. I feel like if I play online games, like League of Legends, CS:GO or Hearthstone I can get pretty stressed out, mainly because it's more challenging and there's a lot of room for error. If I'm playing a single player game like Gta V offline or some mobile game I definitely feel relaxed, mainly because I feel like I don't have to try as hard to win or to accomplish something, and there's a lot of room for error (because you can just start over!).

On the other hand, when I play something more atmospheric, relaxes me a lot. Right now I'm playing Mafia II, and it's such a beautiful game. I play mobile games whenever I get frustrated from work and whenever I get into an argument with my wife. Most people love doing this specially those who have been fans of playing video games from childhood. It diverts your mind from thinking about your current situation and releases negative thoughts and then suddenly you regain your strength to move on again.

Yes games is one of the major things I do for leisure and it helps me calm my nerves once I get taken into it. My best game is football manager games. I could play it all day long without getting tired or bored, and the reason is because I think I love football so much. So as a result of this, any football related games is already a thing for me.

Yes it makes me relax. Some games can make you feel like you are totally in a different world, doing different things, meeting different people. When you are focused to it, it can help your mind to relax and your self to be entertained. One of my favorite genre is logic game, it gives a satisfying feeling solving questions on each round.

Yes it can. Sometimes, you just want to get out of the real world and have some fun by playing games may it be an online game or a "real" game. It makes me forget all my troubles and stresses in life. But of course, choose to play the game that you love and do your best not to get addicted to it.

Yes sometimes, like me I love playing online games. When me and my team keeps winning simultaneously that is when makes me having fun and get relaxed. But when I have a teammate who does not want to play as a team and his/her actions leads us to lose the match thats when I become stressed and frustrated.
Just imagine, you wants to play games to relax and try to get out from stress but found out that the game you are playing makes it worse!

I think it depends on the person. If it's all about relieving stress, then yes I think gaming can be effective. My husband always plays Battlefield when he comes home from work and says it's a great stress-relief. But for me, I find playing most games stresses me out, even the so-called "zen" puzzle games with soothing background music. Maybe it's my attitude towards games. I can be quite competitive and always want to get the highest score, so it's hard for me to relax when playing a game. But I do find, at times, that playing online massively multiplayer games can be relaxing because I can immerse myself into an entirely different world and temporarily forget my problems in the real world.

Personally, RPG games and other games does not relax me at all. I tend to be really in to it and it somehow strikes a light stress over me. When I play Diablo games, I am stressed in a funny and frustrating way when I die in it. If relaxing for you while gaming makes you leave for a bit all your real -life problems then gaming is a good substitute because you get lightly stressed out for no real reason also. But when you can find a really nice social game where there is no stress of getting killed or killing or losing something then you might get relaxed. I find the app Ravenwood Fair on facebook once as a relaxing game before, especially when all you do is chop the woods and create a fair, but then it gets somehow frustrating also since quests for building a fair takes a lot of requirements to fill in. When your competitive nature takes charge enven in simple gaming it can be frustrating too. so take gaming in moderation and try not to be so IN to it for you to relax.

Well for me playing games gets me relaxed but not always. I used to play games like candy crush, Two Dots and of course my favorite one, Zen koi. This games makes me relaxed by the way they’re being played. It gives you soothing, funky and fresh music’s that can put you to sleep and the way they present some colors in the game. And you can play this games while lying on bed. I know that there are more games that can make you relaxed but I recommend this 3 for you to try.

Sometimes playing games give tress also, especially Online games. The competitive nature of the online game stress me the most. There are some also that you relieve you stress like some android games or any kind of board games. For me, it all depends of what type of game you are playing.

Yeah! Absolutely! I play online games on my mobile whenever I get tired from work or whenever I get stressed. Although not everyone likes to play games on your phone to release stress, for me it is. It somehow brings you to another world, a world that is not real and you are the hero of your own story.

For me playing games can be stressful and can help you relax. Stressful when the game your playing is very hard and challenging which makes your mind to totally think and if you can't find the answer or solution you will feel stressed and if that happen you kind of just close the game and play another one. Also when some players on your game just play around and doesn't want to win while you will do anything to win the game which will make you feel stressed. It makes me relax when I play easy games which makes me forget things that caused my stress. Playing games is very fun and interesting even though sometimes it will drive you crazy but i love playing it.

If you love playing games, this would definitely relax yourself. Playing games is just a past time activity in our lives. We find enjoyment, bonding and happiness with our friends. Games sometimes gives us a stressful feeling especially when you cannot overcome obstacles even you tried so many times. I think games is an instrument created by developers to exercise our brain, keep you away from bad deeds like drugs and to relax ourselves but take note not to abuse playing games and you must know how to control yourself for as it may put your health into danger.

Yes, games help me relax. There were times that my friends and I would huddle together for fun and play. We love playing online games that involve guns. We're a team and have to fight other online gamers. It is so refreshing to think about it. It would take off your mind from the boring day you had and mostly incites excitement. It even boosts our strategic skills.

I think playing games can be really relaxing and even reduces stress. If you play digital games, this may be due to the ability and inclination to take time to yourself and to pursue hobbies, and it may be this that reduces your stress and the need for recovery rather than the activity itself. So, whatever the reason, if you make the conscious choice to play video games after work, you will experience faster recovery from the stress you experienced, and you’ll be able to handle that stress all that much better the next day. It makes you relax for that matter.

In my own experiences, games definitely help an individual to relax. When I'm in a bad mood or stress of something I just play it out to reduce the current emotion I had and divert my attention.

Yes and No. It depends on the game that you're playing. If it's a normal/simple game, it will help you relax as your brain doesn't process that much for a simple game but if it's a hard-core or a puzzle game where it's hard to conquer/finish, that will definitely give you a hard time and might cause you a headache. A hard-core game can also change your mood and attitude because the more you eager to finish it, the more you develop a bad behavior like aggression, irritation or worse, to become violent. It will really depend on the game and how you handle it.

I think video games help you relax to an extent. They help you escape reality and forget about your problems for a while. I don't think they make you unwind, so that your mind and body can relax. If anything they stimulate your mind. I'm sure we've all heard the stories of kids who stay up all night playing video games.

The best games, in my opinion, are those we play outside in the fresh air with our friends and neighbors. What happened to the good old days?

I agree with you. Games are good and all but life can't be lived virtually. You gotta have experiences, real experiences with real people. I miss those days as well buddy!

I agree with the fact that games help us relax. It is somewhat related to the saying "All work without play makes Jack a dull boy." I am really into games. Whenever I want to divert my attention from being stressed out to something that unwinds me, I play computer games. Why do I play games when I feel stressed? Typically, reality sucks. If you want to escape from reality and you want to go in a world full of fantasies and where you can do whatever you want, you play games. Personally, I want to be physically strong, I want to have powers. So basically I play action packed games, particularly multiplayer online battle arena games such as League of Legends or DotA.

Whenever we play games we happen to focus on just winning it. We ignore what really is happening in our surroundings. We feel hyped and happy whenever we succeed and still contented every time we fail. However too much gaming can lead to being unproductive though. So what I do is I balance my time in gaming and working or studying. During leisure time of course I do most of my hobbies like cycling, gaming and watching movies, TV series. I spend my time efficiently.

I also like to play MOBAs like LoL or DotA, because they are competitive and you actually play with real people online, but at the same time it only takes less than an hour to play, unlike other games where you have to spend time just to enjoy the game. Here you can limit yourself to 1 or 2 games per day and still be satisfied. Also, despite the same objectives per game, every game is different than your last, so it really keeps the game from being stale.

Definitely. I play games be it PC or mobile, offline or online, every day for even a few minutes when I'm tired and just want to relax. It's a very quick way to release stress without requiring any effort from you; you just pick up your phone and play your stress away.

I definitely agree, games will help you relax and distress by just enjoying it. But of course playing in moderation is advised, too much games can lead you to health issues and eventually addiction. Also playing games with money involved will just temporarily make you happy....Once you have a picture of your purchases and expenses it might give you more stress than fun...

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Of course, in anything, moderation should always be practiced. there's a difference between just playing games for relaxation and when the games become your life instead. I also refuse to play games which have to be purchased, I prefer to stick to the free-to-play games since there are a lot of them which are really good.

It may seems a childish thing if you are already an adult to play a children type of game but it really helps me to relax like a cooking game or a restaurant one because the pressure is not that hard like other games. But I play moba type of games too.

Actually, I don't think that you can feel relaxed while playing any sort of game. I play games whenever I am feeling bored or whenever I am interested to play a new game. So when I start playing a new game I am very active in trying to learn the nuances and strategies of playing that game. Sometimes when you are very involved in a game and are trying your best to win it then you may feel a little stressed out even after winning that game eventually

To be honest, one of the things that help me in relaxing whenever I am stressed or tired is playing games. Although some people might see this as a means of wasting time, games are the best relaxer.

Although I do not play games on a daily basis, I do play them regularly.

That's nice. It's not really a waste of your time. Especially, if it helps you deal with your emotions. Boredom can all make us weary. So having something to tone it down keeps us from feeling mundane in everyday life.

Yeah, especially games that have multiplayer, because I really like to play in such games when I came home after hard day work. So my favourite game is League of Legends that gives me a chance to open the huge world of might and magic with my friends. However, since this game requires a high level of the profile, I've decided to take league boosting service that costs not too much but result is on the face. So I believe that it can give me relax after all...

The answer is 100% YES! The video games can be very useful in that sense, because it helps to forget about all of your problems. You are just diving into a virtual world and forget about everything. This is why I love playing games, and it's very helpful for me. When I come home after a stresful day I am just entering ethershock and looking for a cool game to play. Recently I found Episode Choose you story, and it's really nice. In this game you can create your own unique story, and it helps me to get rid of bad thoughts

Games 100 percent help to relax, but for this, you need to choose games that do not have a hard advisory aspect, which during the game makes you very worried. For this, I always choose either single-player games or just light movie games, most of all for relaxation, I like to choose RPG games. They are quite complex because you have to calculate everything in your mind, but it gives me pleasure. But I also use the ability score calculator iosgeeksbuzz.com when I want to relax playing my favorite game, so I think an RPG is a good choice for you. But if we talk about computer games, I am not very interested in physical games, as computer games are.
