Indie survival games

I've been playing indie survival games recently, like subnautica, the forest, empyrion galactic survival, usually the early alpha games. What games can you share that has potential?

You should try out players underground battle ground. this game is available on steam, it is pretty much popular right now. it is kinda like counter strike but you can play among other players or you can build a team of your own. its a fun game because at first you don't have any ammunition and you have to loot all over the place. The fun thing is that it will land you by a plane and you will get to choose wherever location you can start with. i believe it has a maximum of 100 players and you have to shoot each other to survive. whoever survive and stay alive will be ranked as first place. you should check it out.

I've read a little bit about Player Unknown's Battleground, and I've seen my friends playing it constantly on Steam. I'm really intrigued by it but don't have the time right now to justify spending money on a game I won't likely have time to play.

Is it a free for all and the last man standing wins? If that is the case, is there any point in starting a team in game, because then you'd have to turn on your teammates at some point, right?

As far as I've seen from streams that is not correct. You have two completely separate queues in the Player Unknown's Battleground. One is the so called solo queue and the other one is team queue. In the team queue you can queue up with your friends, not sure how many about I think 4 or 5? And if you're queued up with them, you never have to kill them to win. You kill the other teams and the last team standing wins Indie survival games

That sounds way better than what I was imagining, and like fun as well! I like the concept of having to scavenge and find your equipment in order to win instead of starting off with everything you need.

Very interesting concept!

I recommend the game that I am playing which is "DARKWOOD". This game is very addicting and interesting games if you want to play a survival games. It is a third-person horror survival game about a man trapped and exploring the house to escape from ghost. It has great graphics and gameplay which is actually challenging and fun. Hope you try to play the game.

I am glad that you like it if you like this one you can also try "Last Day on Earth" a game in android phones. It is also a great indie games that is about surviving in a world with zombies. What good in this game is the graphics are great and also how hard to survive by collecting materials or equipment that you need so that you can survive in this game. It is a very good game try it and hope you will like it though it is in beta version since they are still improving the game.

I love playing Don't Starve. It is an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic wherein you will play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home.

I really like games where you build things. Definitely Surviving Mars took me months of great playing. Although it seemed a bit too aimless for my liking at first because there were no goals or story line that I could see. It still looks awesome and the gameplay looks like The Settlers. One day I will land on Mars and rename it "New Terra", and by the end of the game my colony (which I will name Eden) will have Terra formed into a lush, green world, hehe

You've got an amazing plan on how to play the game. I've always liked games where I can build things as well and that's the reason I have to check out this game as well. I've not started playing, but it's going to be fun for me.

I've tried a couple of indie survival games available on Steam, but not a lot of them have managed to hold my attention for very long. However, there is one that has stood out for me and I find myself constantly returning to, and that game is 7 Days to Die. It's a zombie/horror/survival game that combines the RPG/survival simulator genres with open-world zombie horror. I'm not even that into zombies, and I actually think that they're overused in the industry, but I've really enjoyed this game so far. There are probably thousands of items to scavenge and craft, and you can build yourself a fortress hideout to defend yourself against the zombies. It's definitely worth a play.

Oh, I love indie games! I think that they provide us with a welcome break from the corporate BS that we have been feed with for long time. No more bad quality games only because every fan boy will buy it. As far as they go 7 Days to Die. is one prime example. No needs a big corporation behind them to produce quality content

Quality graphics is what we really need from this makers of indie games. With better graphics, it's going to be fun and can make a new gamer feel comfortable playing it as well. So, I agree with you on that.

Yes yes, they have been awesome lately. Games like stardew valley are really down to my heart. The amount of detail and work put into it are certainly amazing

These games gives me a full goosebumps. Because, it will challenge somebody into their inner core of survival. I try it on steam game release, when this game was available. I tried those on steam to download. Some of those games, interrelated from movie, and novels. It is a challenging game, even my brother still play those frightening games.

My favorite was zombie apocalypse games. It has a game scene, where everybody turn into a monster zombies. The game category was all about the player survival mode, in case of zombie apocalypse. Yet, the purpose of such game was to make player face problems into solution.

I discovered a game called Last Day on Earth: Zombie Survival. This RPG game is one of the most awesome I've ever played. Ofcourse, the nature of the game is on how you survive yourself, getting foods and making shelter, killing zombies. The graphics of this game is very great also. I really like survival games because it really gives you thrill and really challenge you. What else you can recommend to me? ????

I also love the indie survival genre because many games are unique due to not being developed by any big companies. The devs are extremely nice and always love to listen to the feedback that their community gives. I'd suggest that you check out a game called "Don't Starve". If you like survival, you will love this one. It has this special art style and it's very addictive Indie survival games the main goal is obviously to survive and you have to make sure to keep well fed and so on. I don't think that it's expensive and it's often on sale on the Steam website.

Don't Starve was my go-to game for a while when I wanted to sit back and just unwind for a while. I love the dark, cartoony atmosphere of the game as well as the soundtrack. I never got around to fully getting the weird gate back up and running, but I had a good time exploring the worlds as much as I could.

The game was reinvigorated for me when they released Don't Starve Together, that way my friends and I could play together. Co-op survival has a lot of perks and adds so much to the game as well.

I also recommend this game because there is also a vita version of this game : "Don't starve together". Meaning that this would be a good way to pass the time since it's portable. It's a survival game with a random generated map where the mechanics are not discussed to you but you encounter unworldly elements. But you still get to understand the concept of those different things as you play so you won't have to worry about it.

Cool, you can check out CRYPTARK, I've played CRYPTARK in its current Early Access stage, and it's easy to see this game's bright future. Made from the same team that did Apotheon, one of my favorites of 2015, CRYPTARK brings players into space as they search through "alien space-hulks" with their space mech.
It's got a lot of customization, a great art style, and most importantly, wonderful impact behind the gameplay. Going through these alien vessels is a blast, thanks in large part to the combat mechanics at play.

Does PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds count as an Indie Survival game? If it does then it is probably the best to suggest to you right now. It is extremely popular right now, which is shown by the fact that even though the PC game is still in Alpha, they are bringing it out on Xbox One this year and hopefully on PlayStation 4 in 2018. The game has taken the Steam community by storm and will probably break a few records soon.

While many people have mentioned PubG, I am not sure if that counts as an indie survival game. I personally have played Don't Starve. This is an open world, survival video game. We can gather resources to craft items and structures that match our playstyles. This game has good replay value and I definitely loved the cartoonish graphics and designs used. Do check it out on Steam. It has received some positive ratings generally.

It's fun to play games where the zombies do the chasing and it's lots of fun as well when we run on the game. I've not played left for dead, but it seems it's one I'm really going to take a look at and see how it goes from there.

Try the slender man, it's a survival game that doesn't take really long to finish, but it's really hard. For me some indie games are better than the sponsored games, they give what the gamer wants and add some twist on it, based on their storyline.

I think it's doesn't fit that well under "survival", but one of the best indie games I've played was "Presentable Liberty". I just got amazed how the story telling held my attention, it's a short experience, but very pleasing. Another pretty good indie, and this one feels a little bit more "survavible", it's "Papers, Please". It's just impossible to play and not to feel.

If you're following the humble game bundle then you can find out lot of games over there. And most of the games in that catalog are from the indie developers. So there is plenty of stuff to learn from. I have mostly played the cheaper games. I can't spend much to play every game thrown out there. But it seems like a good option if you are getting into the simple games. So you are helping the developer economy. That is surely going to help you in many ways.

If you're a football lover, then I would suggest you go for Top eleven-be a football manager. I've played that game for months now and that game has got lots of potentials to teach you everything you need to know about football as regards tactics, formations and how players rest as well as recover to play matches. You will lose some games, draw some games but be winning some games will give you that feeling that you're ready to manage a real football team.

I so much like playing this game, though you have to know that it is an online game that you need data to pay. it connects you to friends around the world!

When it comes to indie games all I can tell you is do not let any of them slip by you. I fell in love with indie games when I played Beyond Eyes. it was one of the best games I had ever played and I could not stop until completion. After that I have tried many more indie games and I promise you it is hard to go wrong with them. I hope you love and eventually enjoy them just as much as I do.

I am very into survival games and my favorite of all time is "This war of mine". I think this game is the best survival game I've ever played. The concept itself is just awesome. Try to play it also.

I don't really play those categories of games. The one I played which is remotely close to that is goosebumps. It actually scares you and you literally have goosebumps all over your body. I will definitely like to try the games mentioned above.

I really understand your point of view about playing such games because they are very frightening so much for some people to endure it. I can relate well with my mother's experience with watching survival movies, she can't look at the television for 5 minutes without creaming and running out of the living room.

I used to play brain game and I think it's a boring game to recommend it here. I think I am such a late bloomer because these days, I am trying to learn minecraft which is my son don't play it anymore. He was fascinated to the unstoppable new games coming out like games mentioned above me.

Any game from the SILENT HILL or RESIDENT EVIL series. Most of them are pretty fun, entertaining and effective. Also ONE NIGHT AT FREDDY'S is a great horror indie survival game as well.

I have played RESIDENT EVIL and I must have to confess that it's such a great survival game, running around trying to get as far as possible away from zombies looks to eat one's skull. Zombies are brain dead freak who only like to eat fresh brains. Now, I'm wondering if they are brain dead, what's there business with eating brains?

Indie survival game rules! I always want to play survival games. It is one of my favorite genre when it comes in playing games. One of my favorite games is resident evil. I am both fan of game and it's movie. It is hard to think to survive if there are many zombies around you. And if you will run out of ammo, you better get ready. This game is so intense that's why I like it to play but I don't want it to happen in real life.

What I like about survival games is their gameplay. You get to interact with the world in a very visceral manner. It's like you're the character. You're invested to win the game whatever it takes.

There are lots of games one can easily choose from to play and have more fun. I can only recommend only the ones which I have played.

When you are looking at getting cool MMORPG, I would recommend getting TERA and FINAL FANTASY XIV. TERA is free but FINAL FANTASY XIV isn't.

Skyrim is the game that is worth trying. I know you talk about indie games but I think you would not regret playing Skyrim. I f you like playing indie games then you should probably now Zelda bot and Skyrim is similar to Zelda breath of the wild. I always played this game when I had nothing to do and wanted to chill and recently I discovered that SKYRIM has thousands of cool mods and one of them is oblivion mod. This mod makes this game entirely different in a positive way. First of all, it removes a lot of bugs from the game as well as lags and adds smoothness to the game. I discovered this mod about a week ago and want to play it with Skyrim Special Edition, hope I will enjoy it.
