what is your favorite pasta sauce?

I have to admit that Italian food is my favorite if I have to choose what sauce is my favorite I don't think I can answer. But, the ones that I constantly eat are Carbonara, Bolognese, and Napoli. If you know some pasta sauces that are not very common share them with me. Also, if you know how to prepare them would be perfect.

My favorite is Spaghetti alla Puttanesca! Yummy!!! It is also an Italian pasta dish that is made of tomatoes, olives, capers, garlic, pepper, oregano and anchovies. To me, my best friend has the most delicious version of Puttanesca!! In fact, I asked her to teach me how to cook this kind of spaghetti but my own version was not good as her. It is very easy to prepare; heat oil in a large pan on medium heat, sauté garlic for about 1 minute. Next is add tomatoes, olives, anchovies, capers, oregano, and crushed red pepper. Your kitchen surely has never smelled so good ha ha ha!!! Serve on top of your perfectly cooked pasta. L' APPETITO VIEN MANGIANDO!

WOW, thanks for the information I have gotten a new way to make my pasta delicious. This one is a must do for me. I was used to the normal tomato paste sauce. Now I have found a new way that looks easy to do.

Haha, I tried that sauce as well when I was in Rome but I disliked it since I hate olives. But my friend had it and he absolutely LOVED it. He was praising it for hours after saying that those ingredients really match well and create this special flavor. His sauce had the following though: tomatoes, olives, capers, garlic, pepper, oregano, anchovies, eggplants, and parsley. So I guess it was just a tad different.

Fettuccine Carbonara is one of my favorite pastas we just call it here white sauce and it's very easy to make, I just mix butter, bacon, uht cream and eggs in a saucepan, seasoning it with spices and I would let it thicken a bit and it's done. Sometimes I eat it hot but most times I enjoy eating it straight out of the fridge.

My sister gave me a pesto sauce last week, and it's delicious! I still use it until now when I want to eat heavy meal but don't want to exert a lot of effort in cooking, so I must say, pesto is my go-to pasta sauce in the mean time.

My favorite is spaghetti. Spaghetti is a long, thin, cylindrical, solid pasta. It is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine. Like other pasta, spaghetti is made of milled wheat and water. My mom's version of spaghetti is the best for me. She taught me how to cook this and my version is good but not that good as her. For me, the best time to eat spaghetti is in the afternoon snack.

Spaghetti is also popular here as well and the thing is we cook it with some smoked fish which is nice for the body. The thing with that is when you get to see the delicious nature of it. The time taken to prepare it is less than 30 mins and I always make it while I was at the university back in those days.

Carbonara
Spaghetti
Pesto

That's my most all-time favorite pasta. When those three are present in an occasion I make sure that I have to try them all. Sometimes it also depends on my mood like if I'm in for eating healthy green foods, I'll get a pesto and not those two.

I'm trying my hands on it but I love that sauce and some popular ones.

My favorite pasta is Spaghetti. Who doesn't like spaghetti? It's my childhood favorite. The red tomato sauce, the sweetness and sourness of the sauce, the hotdog, the meat! yum! I want to eat spaghetti forever! LOL!

My favorite pasta sauce is a Filipino style sauce. It's sweet and tasty with a combination of ground meat, hotdog onions and tomato sauce. It is perfect for pasta and cheese. I guess this is the traditional spaghetti that we have here in the Philippines and all the kids love it. There are several fast food chains adopt the style even international fast food like McDonald and KFC changes their way of making their spaghetti. And now I am hungry! LOL

pizza,
We're on the same boat. When it comes to sauce or pasta cuisines, no one can beat Carbonara, though the ingredients is quite expensive but I prefer to eat pasta with creamy white sauce than pasta with tomato sauce. It's best to eat with garlic bread and coffee. I'm glad that these days, there is a lot of Italian restaurant in my place and all of them offers delicious Carbonara. Sometimes if I have time I cooked carbonara if "Campbell mushroom soup" is available in the market and I sell it in the office. Surprisingly, its always sold out and they asked me to cook again and sometimes I accept made to order.

Where do i even start? Have you tried the pasta negra. Usually the sauce is made out of the squid ink or just squid. Scampi shrimp spaghetti is delicious too. And a classic lasagna. I tried a lasagna made out of spinach too. It's a great and healthy alternative.

It took a lot of thinking for me to determine my ultimate favorite pasta sauce because I generally love Italian dish. I love pasta of all kinds, spaghetti, bolognese, carbonara, and even the basic tomato sauce. But my highest vote goes to Basil Pesto. This sauce is so simple to prepare and from the basic sauce, you can morph it into another variation of the pesto. Basil Pesto only has six ingredients. Top prepare a cup of Pesto you need, two cups of fresh basil leaves, two cloves of garlic, around two thirds cup of olive oil, half cup of parmesan cheese, a quarter cup of pine nuts and salt and pepper to taste. Now here's the best part, place all the ingredients except the cheese in the food processor and process them until smooth. You can use it immediately or keep them in the freezer in a tight container. When you'll use them immediately, transfer it in a bowl and mix in the cheese with your pasta.

In my experience, I sometimes omit the pine nuts because it's not readily available in my location and it still tastes wonderful. With this sauce I can create chicken pesto (add a heavy cream and fried chicken breast), I can also use it to flavor my fried rice (I'm Asian) and as a flavor for my roast chicken. I once used it in my home made pizza too and it's delicious! When you cook with Pesto, you kitchen smells heavenly.

Lasagna is the first on my list. It is also my comforting food. The creamy white sauce on top matches the taste of the tomato sauce and the cheese. I love cheese! And is of the factors why I love lasagna, too. what is your favorite pasta sauce? This is one the dishes that really satisfy my cravings. It's just sad that i can't make my own version cause we don't have oven in the house. I know there is a pan version of lasagna, have tried it but oven-cooked lasagna is still the best.

In my opinion you really just can't beat homemade pasta sauce. I like to start with tomato puree that I make from tomatoes fresh out of my own garden, and I cook it up with plenty of garlic, onions, basil, and oregano; all of those traditional Italian flavors. That is without a doubt the best way to go, in my opinion. But if I'm feeling lazy for whatever reason and just want something out of a can, I'm a pretty big fan of Bertolli's Vodka Sauce. I think it has an amazing flavor, and I just now realized that I've never tried replicating it at home. I think this is going to be my next cooking endeavor, making my own Vodka Sauce.

For me Pesto sauce, It is made with a few simple ingredients: olive oil, basil, garlic and Parmesan cheese. Some varieties also have ground pine nuts or other types of nuts for added flavor and texture. Make your own pesto at home by blending these ingredients in a food processor or purchase ready-to-eat pesto at your local market. The flavorful ingredients in pesto sauce help protect your heart and can lower your risk of chronic disease.Olive oil in pesto sauce is full of a heart-healthy fats called monounsaturated fats. Replacing unhealthy saturated and trans fats in your diet with beneficial MUFAs can improve your health. Garlic in pesto sauce has several key benefits for your health. If you have high blood cholesterol, eating garlic may help slightly lower your cholesterol levels in as little as three months,

Your question got me craving for pasta right now! Pesto is my favorite sauce since I think I already got tired of white and red sauce. I just love the smell of fresh basil! It's so refreshing! You could try making seafood pesto. I advise that you make it from scratch and make use of olive oil and not another kind oil because this would affect the taste and consistency of the sauce. Not that I'm a chef but I have had experiences using other kinds of oil and they turned out just okay, not perfect. Pesto for the win!

Lasagna is the best for me. Hmm those thick tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, parsley, garlic, oregano, onion, basil and not to forget the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Beautifully serve with a leafy green salad and crusty garlic bread. I'm just trying to think of something beside pasta to put it on. Perhaps pasta sauce over veggies. Anyways if you decide to treat yourself and go to dinner, there's nothing quite as comforting as lasagna.

I'm a huge fan of lasagna myself. Recently I've found a slightly odd combination for the sauce in lasagna, but it tastes absolutely wonderful. Typically, when people make lasagna it's either Lasagna Bolognese or lasagna with béchamel and tomato sauce. I've found that making the sauces individually, Bolognese and béchamel, and then overlapping them in the lasagna gives it a wonderful, hearty flavor with a creamy texture. I also like to add sliced mushrooms and then go hard on the mozzarella and parmesan on top.

Damn, I think I need to make lasagna for dinner now.

Call me simple or old fashioned but, my favorite pasta sauce is my homemade sauce I call "Mararita Sauce." I start with six pounds of San Marzano tomatoes and juice them by putting them through my juicer 3 times. That gets al of the pulp but, none of the seeds or skin out of the tomatoes.

I cook that juice down until it is a rich red color and, is very thick and, sweet. Next I add 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil, 3 cloves of crushed garlic and, 2 tablespoons of dried oregano then, remove the sauce from the heat and, cover. I let it cool to room temperature then, refrigerate it overnight or longer, up to one week before using it for pasta.

When I serve it, I warm the sauce and top each serving with a little shredded parmesan cheese or, shaved mozzarella cheese. It is simple and delicious.

I usually visit Pizzahut because this restaurant serves the best pasta sauce that I had ever tasted. There are 2 type of sauces that I love best; Carbonara, Bolognese because the flavor is cheesy and the color suits best with the spaghetti and pasta color too. I had tried purhcasing bottle pasta sauce but they taste different from the restaurant pasta sauce.

Step 3

Well, I live a few hours away from Italy so I'm a huge pasta and sauce lover. Anything that has to do with it, I'm all in! Ever since I was a child, my grandmother made this fresh pasta carbonara that she learned to do in Italy. It's the most delicious thing in the world and I could eat it every day. I got no idea how she does it though because she keeps all her special recipes secret what is your favorite pasta sauce? She also makes some very good one with tuna, sour cream and tomatoes.

It's Ragu with tomato chunks! I've always preferred my pasta with real tomatoes than just the sauce. It would taste better if it got meatballs too. I realized I liked it this way when a cousin of mine who was a cook made it during a house party. Just one taste and I was forever hooked with it.

I love simple spaghetti and carbonara. In our country we love spaghetti sauce that you can taste the little sweetness, sour, salty and spicy. And it should be really creamy. There's a particular way of cooking spaghetti that i like, you can try to make this one cause it's really good. i think i don't need to elaborate the amount to be use cause it's just the same process in cooking and amount of ingredients depends on the quantity you will cook.

You just need this simple ingredients. Spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, ground beef or pork, hotdog, salt and pepper, carrots, onion, garlic, beef or pork cubes and nestle cream or any all purpose cream (this will make it different and really creamy)

process:

saute onion and garlic then add the ground meat, stir Until it changes color and add the hotdog, mixed and add a few water, let it simmer until cooked.

Next add the tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, right amount of salt, pepper and beef cubes. Let it simmer. You can already add the carrots and creamer Or it's your choice if you want the creamer on the pasta before putting the sauce. That's all. You now have creamy spaghetti.

For me i'll have Italian sauce with lots of cheese or pesto sauce what is your favorite pasta sauce?

for Italian i'll have meatballs with it classic pasta lol and some red wine to go with it.
for the pesto maybe some tuna as its protein content and some vegs maybe a tomato and i'd be generous in adding the sauce since the sauce I bought last time didn't really have much that taste to it, don't know why maybe its the way it is.

My favourite probably has to be Carbonara. Any sauce that is extremely cheese and has some sort of meat in it will be a personal favourite of mine. To be fair, I like most of the Italian Pasta Sauces but for me, I like when they are homemade. The ones in the bottles that are in supermarkets are great but they just are not the same as the ones that are homemade. When you make your own sauce with fresh ingredients, it is extra tasty!

I grew up in Italy and to answer your question, the best sauce to make is your own. There are so many ways to make pasta sauce that you can make into your own personal preferences. I can say that you must insure that you always use fresh ingredients with your pasta, and homemade pasta is a plus. I always say that it is hard to mess up a pasta, but be sure to taste as you cook and you will be in a good position!

I love pasta! Carbonara is delicious and also really easy to make. My favorite has to be pesto, though. I don't have it often, maybe that's why I like it so much. I grew up with my mom's red sauce on Sundays - which is awesome; but, red sauce is just so acidic. It's hard to really enjoy it when the threat of indigestion is so imminent. My favorite pasta dish is penne with pesto sauce, shrimp, and cherry tomatoes.

Carbonara sauce on pasta is definitely the best. It makes it even more tasty when it’s made here in the Philippines. Carbonara with milk, chicken and mushrooms are the best. The feeling when that white cheesy flavor goes

My sister cooks a very delicious veggie pasta sauce. She is not a fan of meat and chicken, and we were all thinking she was going to cook a green terrible sauce. In the end she did a very yummy one. You just mix together 2 shredded carrots, 1 shredded zuchinni, 1 shredded white onion, half teaspoon of shredded garlic, oil, salt and pepper. Cook it in a pan until is blended and soft, add cup of veggie milk (almond, coconut, oatmeal), and a tablespoon of corn starch and mix on low fire until it has sauce appearance. Taste again for salt and pepper and serve on top of hot pasta. You will never regret it, it taste amazing.

Pasta is very common in the Philippines specially in Jollibee, they have spaghetti. I like sweet sauce in the pasta. The sauce is usually made from the tomato sauce which you can buy in a department stores. Spaghetti is also famous in every birthday party in the Philippines. Aside from red sauce I like also the white sauce that has been use in Carbonara. Carbonara is very delicious and I like its taste. So it depends in the person how he will make his own sauce either in spaghetti or in Carbonara.

I love the Garlic and Oil sauce pasta.
The Garlic and Oil Sauce Aglio e olio ("garlic and oil") is the ultimate pantry pasta, a simple sauce you can count on when fridge is empty. But you don't need to be desperate to make this version, which gets an extra lift from anchovies, spicy red-pepper flakes, and crispy toasted breadcrumbs. Spaghettini (thin spaghetti) makes for good twirling and provides a nice balance between sauce and pasta, but traditional spaghetti works just as well.

In Nigeria, spaghetti is the most popular pasta you can find around many m=homes and the reason is simply that it is one meal you can cook with other food and enjoy it without having issues. You can cook spaghetti with beans or enjoy you in a Jollof form without having to cook for long. I enjoy preparing spaghetti with beans which are done by cooking the beans alone till it is almost done, then you boil the spaghetti for the first time before making a stew which you put both your almost done beans with the spaghetti to have a great meal you can enjoy. Adding smoked fish is a plus for it tastes different when you enjoy it like that.

While I was at the college, the spaghetti is one food I enjoy eating so much and one I will never get tired of eating not only because it tastes nice, but because of the fact that it is very easy and fast to prepare especially when you're back from work and need to make a quick meal for yourself.

I am really fond of Carbonara, Spaghetti and Lasagne. Carbonara is an Italian pasta dish from Rome made with eggs, hard cheese, pancetta, and black pepper. Spaghetti is the usual pasta; however, fettuccine, rigatoni, linguine, or bucatini can also be used (Source : Wikipedia). In here, carbonara are prepared using only a cream, pasta and century tuna and it tastes really great. Spaghetti is a long, thin, cylindrical, solid pasta. It is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine. Like other pasta, spaghetti is made of milled wheat and water (Source : Wikipedia). The sweet, slightly sour, with little spiciness of spaghetti is irreplaceable in the table. Lasagne are wide, flat-shaped pasta, and possibly one of the oldest types of pasta. "Lasagne", or the singular "lasagna", commonly refers to a dish made with several layers of lasagne sheets alternated with sauces and other ingredients (Source : Wikipedia). Honestly, this is the one that I cannot prepare myself becasue I don't know how to do it, but among the three ,this is my favorite. I often go to a restaurant just to have this. I tried to do it before but unlike carbonara and spaghetti, I can't get the taste that I want with it.
