What place in your country would you recommend for vacation?

Are there any interesting places in your country people should see? Maybe some that could use some more tourists/popularity. Do you tend to go for holidays in your own country or do you prefer to go abroad?

I am from the Philippines and they say that you should go to Boracay for vacation here, but the place now is crowded. If you want an enchanting vacation, you can go to Siargao Island. Look for the Enchanted cave or river. It's a must see place. Take care.

Philippines sounds like a good idea. There are a lot of beautiful beaches here like Calaguas, Camarines Norte and Nacpan-Calitang Twin Beach, El Nido, Palawan. These beaches are perfect for nature lovers out there.

There are too many good vacation places in Philippines. You can consider Cebu also. The Queen city of the South. Cebu is one the most visited place in our country, because of our beautiful beaches and historical sites.

Yes. Some of the best places in Cebu are 3-4 hrs away from the city, but it is worth it, especially if your going to have a visit in Bantayan Island. One of the best beaches I've seen , comparable to Boracay. I personally visit that place where the Camp Sawi cast shoot in their movie. All you can see there is pure beauty of the nature.

I agree to that, Cebu has one of the Richest Beautiful spots in Philippines. I am planning to go there for a vacation with my partner. I really love most especially their beaches. I can't wait my vacation leave and planning to spend my whole vacation with the place. I will do some Vlogs to make my vacation very memorable. That could be my first time to travel there and i know Cebu will not betray my expectations instead it will leave me speechless. No wonder why Cebu is the best place to live.

Those are really good places to visit. Aside from the fact that Philippines has a lot to offer when it comes to beautiful places, having vacation in the Philippines is less expensive that having vacation on the other country. Travel and tours outlets are everywhere, you can have package tours for the whole family which you can even get bigger discounts. Even the foods are superb either from the restaurants or the local dishes.

I'm from the Philippines but I've never been into the places that you've mention. But if I have a chance to visit those places, Palawan would be the first place to go in my list. Palawan was been awarded as the most clean place in the whole country. And there are many beautiful places that you can visit in palawan.

Yeah I am from the Philippines too and yes I can say that boracay is good choice of having a vacation,but for I would suggest Coron because it is more peaceful place than boracay. Its like paradise and I really wanted to there, and Im dreaming to be there someday.

I agree Boracay is a very nice but here in the philippines not only Boracay have a white sand and beautiful coral reefs attraction, also in my province Bataan. There's a lot of resorts and beaches having white sand also known as little boracay.Bataan also a historical place during World War 2. But aside from a historical Bataan is a eco-tourism deatination, a lot of mountain ideal for adventure seekers and mountain hiker.

There is one particular place in a state in Nigeria that I would recommend for anyone to visit and have the thrill of his or her life. It's a state called Cross River which it's capital is Calabar.

There is this resort called Obudu Cattle Ranch, it's a very nice place for tourists, I have visited it once or twice from my state of residence Enugu State and I'm still planning on going again.

For nature lovers and mountain hikers, I definitely recommend Mt. Apo of the Philippines. It is the highest stratovolcano in the country and is also filled with a big diversity of wild life. There area around the mountain is filled with locals that can act as tour guide. There are also establishments that sell hiking and camping gears. Whether you just want to be close to mother nature, soul search or looking for an adventure of a lifetime, Mt. Apo is something you should definitely check.

Wow this such a beautiful place that Filipinos should be proud of. I admit i never had a chance to visit this place though i'm from Philippines but i really recommend this for those nature lovers. I heard this many times and all they can say that it is amazing and really awesome to visit. This worth the expenses for travelling just to get in there. That seems like such a beautiful location! I'm an avid fan of hiking and mountain climbing so that would definitely be an ideal spot for myself. Admittedly though, I'm a bit cautious about traveling around the Philippines at the moment, especially in places that are off the beaten path. With all due respect, it seems a bit more dangerous lately than usual. Incidents involving backpackers and travelers, particularly white, Western ones, seem to be growing in Southeast Asian countries. Quite a shame though, as the area has amazing natural beauty.

There are a lot of nice places one can vacation in my country Nigeria.You could visit the foremost Resort, the obudu cattle ranch resort in Cross River state.It a natural environment with a lot of side attraction for one's pleasure.You would get to ride in one of the longest cable cars in Africa and the second longest in World.It a place to be.

I think himalayas are best place to go for the vacation. And as you can see it has it's own set of the beauty. And every few kilometers, you'd find something new. And that's what makes the place lot better too. I have not much explored the himalayas. But you can see that the mountains and the place would be good enough for exploring. You can also visit some of the religious places here but those are full of unsafe and unhygienic stuff thrown around. So I don't consider them to be good in many ways. o you can see about that part while to be on vacation.

There are many beautiful places here in my country where you can take vacations and relax. You can go to boracay if you love to go to beach, it is one of the most popular tourists spot here in the Philippines that even celebrities from different country visits. I will also suggest batanes which has unique sceneries and offers activities such as hiking, riding a bike through the hills, ziplines, trekking and diving and many more. We have sea with a large beach, mountains with some wonderful views, museums, historical places as Vlad Tepes castle (most of you know him as Dracula) from Transilvania, old churches, lakes, and falls. Ah, I have already visited Romania once and it's stunning! You have incredible sightseeing for us the tourists. I took so many pictures that my SD card was completely full, haha

My three favorite things that I saw were the Painted Monasteries, Sucevita Monastery and the Statue of King Decebalus. An amazing country!

I live in the States, and there are many many places I could recommend for vacation. However, there is one place which comes to mind that I think everyone should try to see before they leave this Earth. One of the best trips I have ever taken was to the Grand Canyon. It was astoundingly breathtaking. It is one thing to see this magnificent natural wonder through pictures, films, or photographs, but to stand on the edge of the chasm and see it wind away in either direction for miles--now, that is quite the experience. There are beaches, cities, resorts, casinos, mountains, forests, and all manner of other locales I could suggest, but I really think that everyone should visit the Grand Canyon at least once.

Wow, grand canyon is one of the places i admire and want to visit even in my childhood cause i saw it in our encyclopedia that time and my brother made a big grand canyon replica using clay for their project. He made it perfectly that his professor did not return it. LOL. That's why i came to know it as a child and really loved it. But as much as i want to visit your beautiful country it is really hard to have a US visa. So i think i will just admire it through images and videos.

I am from the Philippines too and i grew up from the summer capital of the Philippines which is Baguio. Our city has a cool breeze and the smell of pine trees everywhere. You can pick strawberries at the farm, buy fresh vegetables and go hiking.

If you were to go to my country which is the Philippines, I would definitely recommend you to go to El Nido, Palawan which is for me the best vacation destination right now. In Palawan, you can do lots of things like you can surf in there,you can also climb riffs and also go to caves and coves wherein it's the most amazing thing to do in Palawan.

I'm also from Philippines. And I totally agree with you, palawan is the best place to visit if you love unexploited beach. I've been there last year and it was the best experience. I've been to puerto princesa's underground river then we went to el nido. It's such a beautiful place. I thought boracay is really beautiful but when i got to palawan it is such a great place. Though boracay is great for people who love night outs in seaside and the sand is really good. But i love Palawan more, i even want to visit Coron next time. I'm sure i will love it too.

Sagada is also one of the best place that i've visited. When you love nature, hiking and trekking. Sagada is the best place to go. You can explore the caves and check the falls. The climate there is really good. There are so many places here in the Philippines that's great to visit. I have a list of place to visit too, but unfortunately i haven't even reach the half of it.

Here are my 3 places that I recommend for vacation here in the Philippines.

1. Baguio - If you want a cold weather, very nice scenery.
2. Boracay - Popular white beach, best beach place for party-goers, a lot of extreme activities, nice view,
3. El Nido Palawan - Very nice scenery, best beaches, lot's of activities to choose from, quiet and relaxing, and so on.

I am from India. There are tons of tourist places here starting from the northern part to the southern part, from the western part to the eastern part.

The Taj Mahal in Agra is one of the most popular tourist spots in India. Every year tens of thousands of people visit Agra from all over the world. Rajasthan located in north-western India has many cities where tourists visit. Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner are famous for royal Palaces and scenic beauty.

Goa located in western part of India is famous for it's beaches and beach parties.
Kerala located in South India is a very relaxing place to visit. It has beautiful lakes and scenic views.

Do you live in Malaysia? I live in Malaysia.

Yes, Malacca is a nice city but I have only very vague memories of the place since I have not really explored it. However, there's another place which I know very well and I heartily recommend to any visitor to Malaysia.

Come to the Pearl of the Orient, Penang Island.

This island has got everything you need in one small place. Beach? Check. Shopping mall? Check. Hill resort? Check. Five-star hotel? Check. Village homestay? Check. Luxury brand names? Check. Bargain hunters' spot? Check.

I am serious. I spent my teenage years in Penang and I have many wonderful memories of the place. You can reach Penang by flight but I would recommend flying into Kuala Lumpur and taking a bus up to the island, just a few hours away. This way, you get to cross from the mainland via a long bridge. In the evening, go up Penang Hill and watch the bridge light up as the sun sets.

Hello very glad to see many Filipino here and i am very proud also that i was born in Philippines which they called Perlas ng Silangan which exactly describes how beautiful Philippines is. There are lots of tourist attraction in any corner of the country but what i recommend the most for those who are planning to Visit Philippines is Cebu, I am not from that place but so far it is the most popular talk of tourist destination. My home country Nepal is a wonderful travel destination. If you are a hardy trekker, you can go on Annapurna Circuit trek, which takes 21 days, or Annapurna base Camp trek, which takes 11 days, or Langtang which is about 6 days trekking. If you want to climb mountains, you can climb Everest,world's tallest mountain, or Annapurna.
If you are a Buddhist, you can visit Buddha's birthplace in Lumbini. If you are interested in Wildlife, you can go to Chitwan to see one-horned rhino, ir you want to see tiger, you can go to Bardia national park.

I am also from the Philippines. While Boracay is famous for foreign tourists, it is 15 hours travel by land from where I am located or 3 hours by plane. The good thing about the Philippines is if you love to be on a tropical beach, then the Philippines is your country. Whether you land on Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao, we are full of wonderful beaches. The Philippines is included in the Coral Triangle. The Coral Triangle is considered the world's center for marine biodiversity. And within that triangle lies the Verde Island Passage--the center of the center of marine shorefish biodiversity that is bordered by five provinces: Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon. This is at the southern part of Luzon. It's roughly an hour plane ride from Manila to Mindoro or travel by land to Batangas. This is a recommended travel adventure location for me.

I'm currently living in Serbia, and most people would think that there probably aren't a lot of places you'd want to visit in this country notorious for poverty and war. But there are plenty of sights to see. For one thing, you could take a relaxing tour on the beautiful Danube river which runs through Serbia. You could visit the beautiful cities of Novi Sad and Belgrade which feature amazing old structures such as the Petrovaradin fortress, old churches and wonderful museums. Not to mention that Serbia is abundant with wildlife reserves and features some of the most beautifully preserved wildlife in Europe.

I live in Malaysia. I usually recommend my foreign friends to go to any of the islands if you wish to relax or even have fun. There are many stunning beaches to visit. Redang Island is excellent if you are into water activities such as scuba diving or even snorkeling. Another good activity to do is trekking where you will be able to see numerous animals and rare plants located on the island.

My country is renowned for its sandy beaches and blue lagoons. I go camping on the beach quite often and this is something that I totally love. Waking up in the morning and listening to the sounds of the waves is so relaxing. A morning walk on the beach with my dog makes me feel energized. I equally enjoy doing water sports. They are so fun. Swimming is another great activity that I enjoy. It is an all body activity and is a great exercise. The most amazing part is to watch the sunset. What a perfect end to my day.

Well, I'm from the Caribbean tropic, I'm from Venezuela. Beaches are to die for, I mean it! white sand and turquoise water everywhere. We have the largest cable car in the world at Merida State. The Angel falls down to the south, yes the ones that inspired the film Up by Disney. The German colony called as Tovar Colony, filled with beer, fruits, delicious food and an amazing weather. The Andes little towns where you can visit the Planetary. Not to mentions the hundreds of religious monuments, islands and castles. Unfortunately, we have a huge rate of delinquency and robbery, which I'm not proud at all, so I'm really sorry but that's reality.

Philippines is the best place to travel along with your friends. Many people have no idea that, there are still many parts of the country had a beautiful place to have vacations. The only problem of traveling in that beautiful places is the taking care of nature, when ever someone travel out there, they leave their garbage behind. As a result, I don't usually recommend them, the hidden place at all.

The place makes me so amaze is the place of Kidapawan. Where the falls were so unique, it spread across around 30 meters top of the mountain. The local people to that place always bath themselves, and enjoy a lot of things. When ever you visit that place, you supposedly take care of your trash, and don't live it everywhere. Because the local resident is so disgust of that kind of manner.

I live in Venezuela and here there are a lot of places that are great choices to visit on vacation. If you want to spend your vacation with hot weather we have dunes named "Medanos de Coro", a lot of beaches and islands. If you prefer cold weather, we have a place where you can climb a big mountain and play with snow and drink a delicious hot chocolate drink. Or, if you want to spend your vacation on an adventure, we have the big savannah named "La Gran Sabana" and the tallest waterfall in the world named "Salto Angel".

Maldives! You can find fine beaches there. Bet that it will be unforgettable when you spend your vacation there. Nice view and scent of the wind from the ocean is truly relaxing and also the sunset is so perfect when you're with your partner of family. There are many wonderful vacation places that you can visit but for me Maldives is the best.

My country is ridiculously beautiful and it has everything that you'd need for sightseeing. We have seas, mountains and a lot of history too. It really depends on what your goal is. If you wanna hike then there are a lot of mountains, you wanna swim and party or just chill, you can go to the sea and enjoy the beauty. You like history ? There are a lot of sights to be seen, because my country is very old and has a lot of historical value.

London is a great place to visit if you ever come to the United Kingdom. I live in London. And even for people in London, going to central London is still a nice enjoyable trip that everyone loves. There is just so many things to see in terms of public attractions and we also have a lot of shops that you will love to shop at. Items tend to be quite expensive especially in some of the branded stores so make sure to bring a decent amount when you visit

I am from the United States and I highly recommend Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. It truly is a place where dreams are made of. And seeing is believing there are no words to describe the parks. If you would like too see what its all about they have a free vacation video online or they wil send one to your house. Just be warned if your planning on taking a vacation there be prepared to spend $3,000 to $5000+ for a week. Depending if you stay on or off the property.

Well in my country which is the Philippines, the place that I will recommend to anyone for vacation would most probably be one of the famous beaches in the world for its white sand, of course it's Boracay. I guess beaches is primarily the competitive advantage of my country from others for we have been blessed with a lot of it. Boracay is the most famous beach in the Philippines where a lot of tourist go and I can assure that you will never be dissapointed when you will there because aside from the beautiful beach we have, the sceneries are also fascinating and you will never get tired of looking at it. Aside from Boracay, there are a lot of place where you can go such as Baguio, Puerto Princesa and a lot more. I would have loved to recommend a warm spring and zoological park in my home country popularly known as Ikogosi Warm Spring and Zoological Park. This particular place is visited yearly by people from the different parts of the world to create some fun with their family and friends. There is a place where the warm water comes from and another place where the warm water has a meeting point with the cold water.

There are so many national parks in my country and wild reserves that people can decide to tour. You can also visit Mombasa and take a walk at the beach. For me, one of the best places not only to relax but also to live is Miami, Florida. After being there on vacation, I realized that I wanted to spend my whole life there.
