Homemade Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut Truffles!!

I can't believe i found this! My husband loves the Ferrero Rocher Truffles that you can buy in the store, but sometimes they can be a bit pricey, its about $1.50-$2.00 for 3 truffles! I sooo cannot wait to try this for him! I will share the recipe with you all!

What you will need:
For the filling:
1. 3 cups of crushed hazelnut wafer cookies
2. 3 cups of finely chopped toasted hazelnuts
3. 1 1/4 cup of nutella
For the chocolate coating:
1. 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
2. 1 teaspoon of coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
3. 1 1/2 cups of finely chopped toasted hazelnuts

What you need to do:
1. Start with the filling. grab some parchment paper and line a baking sheet with it. crush the hazelnut wafer cookies and add them to a bowl. combine hazelnuts and Nutella and mix well!! Put that mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes to help it firm up a little bit. after the 30 minutes, shape the mixture into teaspoon size balls and place onto the baking sheet and then freeze for 15 minutes.
2. While you are waiting, mix the oil with the chocolate chips in a bowl. Melt the that mixture in the microwave until it is melted, stirring it about 30 seconds. Add the hazelnuts and stir it well to combine it!
3. Once the truffle balls are ready, stick a toothpick in them and dip the truffle into the melted chocolate mixture.Put the truffles back onto the baking sheet and place in the fridge for another 15 minutes!!

Once he see this recipe, he will have me getting all the ingredients to this to make these ASAP!! HAHA Hope you guys enjoy this one! More to come later on!!

OMG I don't think I have clicked on a title so fast as this one. My hubby and I just LOVE Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut Truffles... oh wait everyone on earth loves these

I am adding this to my list of things to try out to make for Christmas gifts this year. I will have to make a lot of them, you know in the name of research. We will have to do a lot of testing to make sure they are good enough for gifts!

These will work so well with my idea of decorating jars and putting things in. Imagine receiving a beautiful glass jar packed choc-o-block full with homemade Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut Truffles? Yes please!

The testing stage is vital to the procedure here, whenever chocolate is involved double the testing must be done.

Hey this is one of my favorite recipes i cant believe you shared it! I cannot eat these to much because of my migraines but man are they good! We should give these away as gifts i bet the homemade ones would taste so much better. Especially if you take the ingredients and make your own twist to it. I didn't think that it would be so easy to make these i thought it was a lot more difficult. I love these chocolates its to funny that you found a way to make them and im sure at a fraction of the price. I cant wait to actually try these because the taste will be the real test.

me too!!! i didnt realize it was this easy, pshh i didn't realize a lot of these things i post are easy to make and do!! this is definitely one of the tops ones on my list to try ASAP, along with the headache balm!!! i know you cant have too much chocolate but on occasion you can have couple! i wonder if nutella is in the real Ferrero rocher recipe!!!! ?? LOL

Ugh. I hate Ferrero Rocher candies. Their truffles are among my least favorite candies. One notch above twizzlers, hershey's dark chocolate candy bars, and jelly beans.

This is amazing! You can make those and give others as presents! Ferrero rocher truffles are delicious but I have never thought about making them on my own. It doesn't look too difficult.

Absolutely amazing! My family loves ferrero rochers. So I am very glad if I can make my own ferrero rocher hazelnut truffles. I am sure my mother will like it. I am going to suprise her with this. Also, I don't need to go to the store to find a ferrero rocher. And maybe I can use it as a source of income. Thank you for sharing this ingredients.
