Make Money at Easter by Hosting an Easter Dinner Party!

Hello one and all, as you know I've been posting some discussions on ways to make money at and from Easter time. That's so far ranged from making and selling your own chocolate Easter eggs?, to making and selling gift baskets, ??to making and selling Easter cards?, to baked Easter snacks! Which have all gone down great and are very legitimate, possible ways to make some money at Easter time, from Easter time!

And today I wanted to talk about another way to make money at Easter by hosting your own Easter dinner party!

Hosting Your Own Easter Themed Dinner Party!

Now how can you make money from hosting your own party? Surely that would actually cost you more money in drinks and food and entertainment than you could make from it? Well no not if you charge for entry and food and drinks. You could charge say, $20 a head, and if you could hold up to 25 people, that would be $500. Out of that, you might have to buy a few drinks, some bottles of stuff, alcohol and soft drinks. And from that, have enough to buy the food needed for the actual dinners (starters, main and dessert) and still have enough left over to bank!

Now obviously, 25 people might be a lot of people to sit at one dinner party. Most of us only have dinning rooms big enough for a 3.2 family! But if you could do it and had the space for it, this could be quite profitable for you. The above is only an example, and if you could source cheap booze and food and put a spin on it so that it's all good, cooked well, presented well etc. Then there's no reason why it wouldn't all work out well for you.

The trick is to provide some entertainment for the night. That could be done with something as simple as a karaoke machine, Just Dance on the XBox or something like that. To playing adult games like Would You Rather or Cards Against Humanity or something! Those types of games always guarantee a laugh and if you make people laugh, fill their bellows and get them a little bit drunk they will be much less inclined to ask for a refund at the end of the night! And obviously as it's an EASTER party. You'd have to make it Easter themed as well. If it was a party for adults, you could introduce an adult theme to it. That would mean less chocolate eggs, more chocolate fountain! You could put out a nice spread or two. ?

That could be something as simple as this Easter bunny rabbit shaped spread.

Is this something you could do?

If you're quite the party planner and good at organizing events like this and you have the home for it. Then absolutely you could! Of course, you'd have to advertise about it first, and you'd have to convince people to come to yours instead of going somewhere like a restaurant or some place instead.

One way you could attract people to it, is to maybe partner with someone popular, some popular local bands or artists and have them as the entertainment for part of the night. You'd have to pay them for it of course but if you do some math and can throw a great party, so long as you advertise it well enough, they will come! Conclusion

Throwing an Easter dinner party isn't for everyone. There could be a lot of cleaning and washing up to do! And it might feel strange going to a dinner party with people you don't know or haven't ever met before. So it might be better off kept amongst close friends that wouldn't say no to you and wouldn't mind giving you $20+ if it means they don't have to bring their own food and drink and entertainment will be taken care of.

Have you ever ran your own Easter dinner party?

Is this something you could or would do on any scale?

Personally, I just can't see this working, to be honest with you. Easter is a pretty special holiday especially for Christians like me and it's a holiday that a lot of people like to spend with their closest friends and family. Because of that, I just can't see that many people paying to attend a totally random party with other random people especially over here in the United Kingdom. Have you tried it before in your country and if so has it worked for you? Were you able to make a large profit?

This is one way to raise money for a good cause. Usually in a larger scale, this is how foundations gain large amount of donations bhosting dinner parties. There is one dinner for a cause made for a young girl who is suffering cancer to help her and her family for her medical expenses. This was organized by their family friends and their church. This is a very nice way to gather people together and celebrate with them and gain something for a good cause all at the same time.

I have done a stuff like this before and I made some money.making money from dinner party is to get a free space because most spaces are expensive to rent,so if you can exclude tentage then it would be worthwhile.

It also pertinent to make it very interesting with good side attraction,so that the visitors would love to attend it next time.

you could try and present a Buffet it would add flavour and glamour to the event.

Believe me as realistic this sounds, you making money from hosting a dinner party, it's never the same thing here in Nigeria. I think the culture of the people have a direct impact on how the people see, understand and process the concept of dinner dinner party be it Easter or any other kind of party.

Here, the way people see parties is to come and eat and go home and not to pay in order to attend such party. If you dare fix a bill on any party that you are hosting, not only that people won't come, but they will also gossip with your name around, saying that you are tasking people to come pay for your meal.

Night party is what I want. Even though it is more struggle than daytime party, it is worth it because almost all of us are having fun. Hosting a night party during easter is a great opportunity to me. So I will glad to host this kind of party.

It's a good Idea but we have to take into consideration that not everyone might go and then the costs might be higher than the income. Also, would you get the ingredients from a cheap supermarket or store? You should minimize costs. Everything has to be taken into consideration

Using a Best shipping scales for small business to weigh packages lets you know how much postage you need for each package without having to use the Postal Service's "if it fits, it ships" flat-rate boxes. That means you'll always be using the most cost-effective packaging for your products.
