Hello one and all, as you know I've been posting some discussions on ways to make money at and from Easter time. That's so far ranged from making and selling your own chocolate Easter eggs?, to making and selling gift baskets, ??to making and selling Easter cards?, to baked Easter snacks! Which have all gone down great and are very legitimate, possible ways to make some money at Easter time, from Easter time!
And today I wanted to talk about another way to make money at Easter by hosting your own Easter dinner party!
Hosting Your Own Easter Themed Dinner Party!
Now how can you make money from hosting your own party? Surely that would actually cost you more money in drinks and food and entertainment than you could make from it? Well no not if you charge for entry and food and drinks. You could charge say, $20 a head, and if you could hold up to 25 people, that would be $500. Out of that, you might have to buy a few drinks, some bottles of stuff, alcohol and soft drinks. And from that, have enough to buy the food needed for the actual dinners (starters, main and dessert) and still have enough left over to bank!
Now obviously, 25 people might be a lot of people to sit at one dinner party. Most of us only have dinning rooms big enough for a 3.2 family! But if you could do it and had the space for it, this could be quite profitable for you. The above is only an example, and if you could source cheap booze and food and put a spin on it so that it's all good, cooked well, presented well etc. Then there's no reason why it wouldn't all work out well for you.
The trick is to provide some entertainment for the night. That could be done with something as simple as a karaoke machine, Just Dance on the XBox or something like that. To playing adult games like Would You Rather or Cards Against Humanity or something! Those types of games always guarantee a laugh and if you make people laugh, fill their bellows and get them a little bit drunk they will be much less inclined to ask for a refund at the end of the night!
And obviously as it's an EASTER party. You'd have to make it Easter themed as well. If it was a party for adults, you could introduce an adult theme to it. That would mean less chocolate eggs, more chocolate fountain! You could put out a nice spread or two. ?
