Everything barbequed is ok. hahaha. talk about eating everything it just fine with me. Barbeque chicken, pork, beef and seafoods. Well all of it sounds nice to me. Who doesn't agree to that. Except for those who are allergic to seafood. You are missing some great things in life. That Barbeque stake really really is mouth watering isn't it? I wish can make a Barbeque right now but maybe I'll do it tomorrow. :D

Oh, I love BBQ food. I love, in particular, The Inasal Chicken here in the Philippines. If you taste it, I'm sure you'll eat more rice than you thought. I also love BBQ ribs, chicken, pork, intestine, oyster, etc. I don't think that there's anything that doesn't taste good when it comes with BBQ. :)

The slaughter is definitely the most exciting part but the cooking ooh the cooking is just glorious. In my country, we do not call it barbeque but just 'nyama choma' which loosely translates to grilled meat. We do add nothing but salt to season, then grill it till it is well done. None of the rare/ medium rare business.
We do not spare the insides as therein lie most of the flavour and nutrients. We use the intestines to make boerewors, the blood to make liver then together with the liver make a nice stew. The tongue, boerewors, heart and other organs are also thrown on the grill.
After all this, we can now feast, yum yum. It would definitely have to be beef and mutton. I just love the smell Of burning freshly slaughtered cow or goat. In my village we do not buy meat, we generally slaughter our own as we know what we have fed the animals, and it is mostly just tradition.
