How do you drive Facebook traffic to your page?

I have tried advertising products on Facebook, even paying for the adverts but I have never been lucky to attract traffic that can be converted into sales. How do I get it right?

Yes, same here. I have added lots of people and gathered some likes to my page but still no deal. Apparently, there needs to be a delicate combination of your content, keywords and the public that you target. If anyone can shed some light on the matter I'd be grateful too.

I usually start it with uncommon trends. When people see something funny, at the same time, a stupid thing, most people will attract on it. People are interested in current event, especially controversial The page can sometimes be visit, when people follow attractive people. I, myself do the same, but not necessarily.

I prefer to make your own way, it's called; your own guts. People today don't pay attention on serious matter. Because, it's more boring way, and it is now common. Most people wanted to follow pages on facebook, who were celebrities.

You're right when you say that people don't want to follow people that are not funny on facebook. The good thing about being funny on facebook is that it makes others attracted to you since you're a source of their happiness. So, I've adopted that pattern too.

Just because you advertise on Facebook does not mean that there will all of a sudden be a large influx of traffic to your page. You need to make sure that the Facebook advert is interesting and attractive looking so that people actually want to click on the advertisement. You should also try to use the Facebook settings so that your advertisement is only shown to your target market. You are much more likely to get clicks from people that are interested in the product you are selling.

Well, it actually depends on your type of advertising and how good you are on top of the traffic game. Because i can remember that there is a training for Facebook Ads, so it's not just how you see it, there are experts, who train people on how to get the best result out of their Facebook Ads, and i think you wouldn't mind paying the few buck. Although i have not tried one, but i do know that there are experts, and Pros when they come to Facebook Ads.
And you might check if you are really doing it right, whether you are reaching the right audience, and getting the right targeted people, best specified for your product.

I have to invest now on good content and get some training for the Facebook Ads, this actually sounds quite possible and easy to do. The training now will be a must have for driving that important traffic to my page.

I think before you can generate much traffic on your Facebook page to be able to get sale from it, the first thing I know that would be help you is being active in your Facebook wall and be involved in several Facebook groups.

Once your participation in those groups gets the attention of quite number of people and you normally make quality posts, I believe definitely you will generate enough traffic that might turn into sales.

I totally agree with this one, you can join more groups and get more audience by posting something on their wall. And also, creating Facebook ads doesn't just give you the assurance that you'll be getting a lot of audience or traffic to your page. So the possible way to get traffic is to tell your friends to also share your page to other people so that more non-mutual person will now about your page and join more groups, like as what he said.

I think you're right. In order to generate traffic on Facebook, you should be active on your wall and participate as many groups as possible and come up with an interesting post/topic that could charm or hook up those people from that group to check your profile out and scan it. That's what we all do once someone got our attention right? We do check their profile and wall to see some information about those people that we have liked. Popularity is the key to gain traffic on your site/page.

I suggest checking out the facebook groups related to your niche. Let's say you have health niche site. And there are some of the groups who discuss such issue. Here you can drive the traffic to the group and the pages. And this way you can make them to come to your site. Make sure you are not spamming. So add some value in your post while adding the links. That way people will interact. And that can be more than enough to get some traffic to your website. Also there are facebook ads that you can try out.

Instead of that one can go for the groups. That option allows you to share your page. And people can swap the likes. That's something we all need to do in order to gain some likes. Not all the time that is going to work though. But it can be a good option if you are planning for the reach of the page.

The are two types to gather people in your facebook page. First is by doing paid advertisement. You can buy page like or you can paid facebook by the engagement of the people in your page. You can set it as low as 5$ daily in the start and you can set the target people you want to visit your page. Secondly you can gather people in your page by doing it manually. You should join different group in facebook, always interact with those member in the group. Always read their comment. Identify their needs. If the topic or the item you are selling in your page is same what they are looking in the group, then you can invite it to your page. Advertise your business or page in different Facebook groups that are similar to your page and sometimes having a giveaways like lotto system where the participants should like and share your page before entering your contest. Trust me, it usually works. Just tweet your Facebook page link out from your twitter account from time to time. Also be sure to LIKE pages that are within your space whether it's film, apparel, comics etc. Lastly, you should also add your Facebook page link to every email you send in your signature. Should also print up some business cards and place your facebook link upon those as well.

Thank you, I have found a new way to use my twitter account to my advantage that will be very easy to do. I have business cards that I give to people, at least that side is covered. I will be doing it this way to drive my traffic.

I don't think that if you target your ads, means that you'll get the most out of Facebook, the trick is to be friend everybody and be genuinely instead in their stuff, so they can do the same for yours.

I am very unsure of how to really drive traffic anywhere. But I need to learn as well because if you can drive traffic to your site, then you will see results. The best way is by using the Facebook Advert program. There are many ways to do that but most are not legit, once Facebook discovered you are trying to generate free traffic to your page, they will immediately block your account either temporarily or permanently which take a lot of processes to reactivate, sometimes no room for the reactivation.

I think posting good contents will really help to increase your traffic in facebook. Post a content which will attract visitors. It doesn't mean you will have facebook traffic if one visitor see your post and nothing he or she did just view. Keep posting valuable contents that will give an interest to every facebook users. It really takes time to gain large amount of traffic for your page to earn. There are several third party ways to gain this traffic for your profits in facebook.

Facebook is a market place with a billion customers, I was never active on it until I advertised some stuff that I wanted to dispose of and they were all bought within a day. That really made me see an opportunity online that I use till today.

Probably you advertise your products or facebook page to wrong set of audiences or maybe you're audience's demographics are too wide. I haven't used or try advertising on facebook but I had friends who use my account to build an ad on facebook, he doesn't teach me how he was doing it but I think I get the basic thing that he's doing is to narrow and specifically target his potential buyers who were interested on the things he was planning to promote.

I have tried this also but with the wrong target market and at the end of it all, it looked like a normal social post without any results. I guess Facebook pixel is working wonders on my target market. I did discover it recently and I have seen the difference now.

Facebook payed adds never converts to sale, it's good only for exposure, a local shop would benefit from it, cause the advertiser could target a certain area in his city as well as a specific demographic, for online marketing, its a different story.

In as much as patience is needed before one can be able to get more traffic using one's Facebook account or other social media accounts, still a lot of work is needed to be done in order to facilitate the generating of the desired traffic.

The Facebook account or page owner must be very active on his account, interacting with in groups, making posts and sharing as well. Getting new friends and joining groups as well. It's the only way to get more traffic.
