hi, I'm actually quite new to online jobs I'm currently seeking one now that pays well ,but I'm skeptic that I'd find one although I have a few past experience in "Paid to click" sites and "online survey answering" they were not really paying a decent amount.

I read reviews from different sources first if a certain online job is legit or just a scam because I don't want to waste my time and effort for nothing.

If you're looking to earn a few cash I could suggest that you try paid to click sites they're legit but pays little and takes a while for you to earn. if you have a strong skill in something then venturing into freelance work would be a better choice since a few colleagues of mine worked as a freelance web developer.

Pretty much that. Find a site, research it online, give it a try (With caution) see if the money really reaches your pockets and repeat. Personally, I'd recommend crowdsourcing jobs. They're easy to do and there is plenty of them to go arou8nd. Try Crowdflower and Microworkers.

I have tried micro workers before but I stopped it. I am loving picoworkers it is also a micro job site and pays well.

Yes, I am using picoworkers now and definitely it is better than the others.

Your better off with paid posting sites like postloop than doing microjobs and crowdflower their pay is just terrible it's line those pay to click sites and I think it's not really worth the effort.

I agree with you here regarding the "paid to click" and survey sites. I tried several of those, and I had no luck with them, and they made you work way too much for way too little.

I am also new to online jobs, but I have had a little bit of luck with posting for pay sites and some traffic on my blog with ads and what-not. I am sure there are tons of ways I could make money online, and I am learning as I go. When asked how I feel about online work, I actually really like it a lot, and I love to write and express myself, so this type of thing is perfect for me.

I have no luck with PTC sites too.
It takes a lot of time to earn money there.

Finding my first online job is honestly quite frustrating, I have submitted cover letter one after the other. I had a hard time applying for a job and it is harder to have an employer to notice me due to the fact that I do not have enough experience as a freelancer. I have also tried PTC's and also paid surveys but the pay was not right. A was so desperate to finally get one so I joined a group of women who are actually experienced freelancer, some of them gave me viable advises and even shared links of legit home-based jobs. It had opened a slot for me in online business.

I hear you. PTC and survey sites pay very little for the amount of effort you put into them, and if you've been at freelancing for a while, it's discouraging to even think about taking part in them.

Anymore I think the best way for people to proceed online is to market a skill that clients may want. Graphic design, audio production, advertising, marketing, and the likes are very much in demand online, and if you're skilled in a particular area, you can be inclined to charge more for your services as well.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

rona14
I agree too! PTC sites are very time consuming. You get paid too small. I have no luck in GPT sites. But currently I am in to answer surveys and get paid by voicing opinions.

I'm a Fresh graduate of culinary arts course, And in a hospitality industry we didn't have a holidays day off. Also sometimes we work in 10- 12 hours a day, depends on a season or the volume of work we need to do. After 6 months I decided to take a rest or break. While browsing into the internet I saw a blog that explaining on how to get income into the internet. So I started to think that I should give it a try, Plus I also use internet for just like 10 to 12 hours also.. so if I can earn money here, maybe I can make this as my source of income. First part time job that I into it is the very known surveys site. The only thing or the cons here is you need to wait for the surveys that is suitable for you. So I think that this surveys thing is not good enough. Second job that I did was being a online affiliate marketer. This is a good passive income on the internet. You'll just need to post or promote the product of others then when the products got bought, You just get a instant commission. The last job that I do on the internet today is postloop. You just only need to post or comment in a different forums.

At first i was skeptical if it is true or not, but some sites do pay but for very long time because you are waiting for offers and whatnot but they pay. If you are eager to find an online job that pays more you have to acquire skills that competes with other aspiring like us. But now I am feeling positive towards my online ventures. Think positive and hope all goes well.

I'm determined to find part time jobs to support my financial needs. Currently I'm taking a bachelor's degree causes to have difficulties on finding part time jobs because it's hard for me to work and at the same time to study. So mostly I find part time jobs on the internet and luckily I found one. I feel glad when I got my first salary.

Online work is a great way to earn some money on the side, especially while you're going to school for your bachelor's. I did the exact same thing when I was an undergrad, and I'm still doing it now as a graduate student!

As an undergrad, I also worked a part time job in retail as well as freelanced and went to school. I can understand the hardship of not having enough time to study, though. Have you tried finding an on-campus job at your university? Most schools, at least here in the U.S., offer all kinds of opportunities for students to work on campus. That way they can have a flexible schedule that works with their study hours and class schedule (a college job isn't going to hinder your education!)

Carmilina,
That's a good start my dear. Online job is not bad at all and your best friend is right you can make a lot of money if you will work hard. The advantage of online job is, you don't have to wake-up early to go to the office, you're the boss, your home is your office so you can save travel expense, you don't need to wear a proper dress code and most of all you can also develop your skills here.

I first started looking for part time online work when I moved out of my parents house for college. I already had a part time job that I could barely live off of, and I wanted to make a little extra cash in my spare time to help keep up with bills and such. I started off writing reviews and articles for content mills at first, then I moved into transcription and captioning for various sites. It was exhilarating at first! I loved the idea that I could make some extra bucks by sitting at home and writing stuff for other people.

As time went on, I started developing my offline freelance business, which started taking over most of my time and energy because it brought in significantly more money than online freelancing. I've since stopped writing and transcribing as much online, as I don't think the pay is good enough for the effort that I put forward a lot of the time.

It is really hard to find a job online especially of you don't have the specific expertise that the virtual customers would require. There are numerous online jobs who can promise a great pay. Example of this is transcribing and translating.
I know some who does transcribing in which they will only listen to an audio and make them in words. It is easy. However it is hard to find a legit site to start since most of them requires a payment. Then if you found a legit site, the main difficulty in here is about competition since you are not just the one who would like to do this job. There are those professionals that are way ahead of you. In effect, you'll lower you rate per project. However always keep in mind that when starting it is better to build your reputation first, then the money would run to you. There are also those sites that has the structure of pyramiding. I find this really hilarious since you have to invite more people in your connection to earn. That's really advertising. I've been there and I find it unfair and hard. So that site ended up in my trash bin.
You may search even more if you are desperate to find. Or if you have a long spare time, you may opt to do part-time jobs in a restaurants, boutiques, etc.

You make very good points. I started doing transcription and captioning jobs a while back and found that of all the freelancing I did online, it actually brought in the most money. I found that it was a little more difficult than what I had first intended, though. Writing down what's said in an audio file or video isn't necessarily difficult (unless the person has a thick accent, is tough to understand, or the quality of the audio is bad), but every organization I've transcribed through has had different formatting requirements for what you write.

It's difficult to write exactly what's being said and format it to the company's standards simultaneously and takes a lot of getting used to. I was getting really fast at captioning through a company called Rev, and then they switched their formatting requirements and I basically had to relearn how to properly caption the videos without being knocked down in my score. It can definitely be frustrating at times.

Wow. That's a great experience. I think if you're still a newbie in this kind of job you have to focus and dedicate a good amount of time in here. The ratings can really affect when attracting good customers. I've never done those things you did but I'm hoping I'll be able to start. How long have you been in this kind of job? Can you still do your work as a professional while freelancing?

I put a significant amount of time into captioning and transcribing while I was working part time in retail and going to school, but quit when I graduated and found a full time job. I never thought that transcription or captioning would be something that I would have ever done until I started looking for work online. In fact, I didn't even think about the fact there was a market for such a thing online. As I worked to transcribe and caption more, I became more efficient with it to the point that I was comfortable outsourcing myself as a freelancer off of the site as well, which was a huge step for me!

The flexible hours were always really nice, being that I could only work at certain parts of the day because of an offline job and school.

It's so easy to find online job as long as you have the skillset. I have regular job right now but since my income is not enough, I decided to look for a part time online job. I registered to upwork though they have so many job posted in their site, but the competition with the other freelancer is very tough unless you have talent in graphic designs or you are an Engineer, accountant Virtual Artist and Project Manager there's a lot of online job for you.

For now I can't really say something with regards to online job hunting experience since I was just exploring lately.

Being currently a college student, I really need that extra income to help and support my studies aside from depending on the allowances which are given to me. Finding an online job is somehow easy since you just need to research about it using some search engines such as Google and a lot of information where you can choose from but the hard part is how to determine what online jobs are really legit in terms paying so you need to be careful about it because your information is at stake. Now I guess I'm satisfied on the numbers of online job that I found here in the web since I have already some cash and still continuing to help myself. Thanks and God Bless.

This is what's so nice about online jobs. Even though they don't usually pay the best for the effort you put into them, there's generally enough work online for you to at least find something, even if it's just an occasional article or survey that you take part in. I was in the same place as you a couple years ago. I was working part time to live in an apartment and go to college full time. I picked up online freelance as a way to make some extra spending money on the side.

Even now, I like making a little on the side to tuck away into another account for a rainy day, just in case. You never know when you might need that extra money from the side business.

I used to resell clothes a lot on eBay. That was fun and somewhat lucrative, but then my full-time job got busier and I stopped.

Freelance writing is an ok gig, but I'm a slow writer and very unmotivated so I know I would never be able to make any money at it. I did used to have a pretty good writing job with TripleCurve. I had to research and answer random questions, but the answers only had to be two sentences long. Sadly, that project lost funding, and I haven't been able to find anything similar.

Swagbucks is cool. It takes a lot to earn prizes, but even if I only get a $10 gift card every six months I figure that's better than nothing and the effort is minimal (I only watch the videos).

Im new to Online part time job. It is difficult to find a real paying online job, some of this site are scam, they're taking advantage of the people who are finding a part time job online. Im not saying that all sites are scam, If you really focus and been eager to find a one you will, and for some reason this will motivate you to do some of the offer that will gain you an income, this time you will feel like rewarding yourself. It is better to do some online part time than to waste my time playing some online games. Finding a real online part time. Job can be tricky but once you find one you will be motivated to do it.

I'm practically a newbie in my online job, but so far this one has showed me that I can do more than just my career. Also, an extra income is not bad at all, and I have improved my writing a lecture too. The only bad issue I've found is that at least for me, the online job takes a lot of time for me, which I never thought could happen. Eventually, I think i will have to choose between my part time job and the regular one, but anyway I feel good with both so far.

But these scams won't stop me from continuing to find legit online part time jobs. Finding different jobs online is party educational. It was challenging, fun & exciting path to take.

I started my journey as a freelancer when I was in high school. I've done a lot of pay per click websites and completing online surveys. It's was so addictive and time consuming. I spent countless days trying to improve at it. But when I got my first online money, the feeling was overwhelming. It's like a sunshine after a big storm. I used the money I've earned to upgrade by personal computer. And I can tell you, it was all worth it.

It gives also gives opportunity, to someone finding sideline job. It has many requirements needed, to have ordinary jobs, these days. More people have opportunity to take some extra money, and having an extra income, especially on Internet has a good potential of hour per payment.

I have many problems finding regular job these days. Also, it gives me
time to earn extra money, for me to buy something necessarily. My part-time job, becomes also my only job, and I don't have a descent job to find these days. It's really pain in the head to be an unemployed.

I believe that we all use them at some point but at one point I wasn't satisfied with the money I was making through it and I decided to go full freelance mode. You should allows google the reviews on such website or online job, to hear the views of the general public on the job.
Because the internet is a market palace, with loads of fake and good products, staring at you, but do remember that you must work for any penny you earn online.

My desire to make extra income through an online channel started in the early months of 2015, though then I was a bit scared of how it will end and whether at the end of working online, what it will result in, I never stopped believing that I will make it online because I am that kind of person that enjoys being online 24/7 either surfing the internet for sports news or chatting with friends and families on social media.

When I discovered about writing sites such as freelancing sites and all that, I jumped at it, but because of the competition there and the lack of mentor on how to make it there, I really had a tough time and later gave up on it. Utterly frustrated but still hopeful. I just started with this whole freelancer thing and It has been quite confusing for the most part of it. During my research, I was quite happy to find out that there are a lot of ways through which you can earn a living online. But to my disappointment, l realized that not all of them is for just anybody. I should have kept my expectations low in the first place. Even if the youtube vids kep on marketing them as "easy ways to earn money online" i should not have been so naive to expect that it would be as such. But still, there's no way am I giving up. I'll just have to go over them one by one and figure out what works best by trial and error.

PTC is complete waste of time, and I can't even understand how can anyone consider them work? Sure, you waste your time and strength like in a real work, but you probably won't even cover your electricity bill - let alone be able to put food in your mouth! Picking up change from the streets LITERALLY yields more income.

Personally I'm a freelance illustrator on the side, and while there's lot of competition I just keep my head and rates and I've been doing very well. At one point I even thought about going in full-time, but so far I still haven't made that jump.

Finding a part time online job is hard. I decided to be part of this industry while I am still unemployed. Honestly, it is very hard to find a legit online job. Usually, the sites are fake or scam. Also, there's a lot of networking sites/system, although it is quite popular, most of us didn't choose to be part of it, because it's too mainstream in this generation. But still, I am working hard to have a permanent job now.

It is challenging. In my experience, finding an online partime job is not that easy. There are many offers that you can find on the internet but the challenge is to outstand among the other applicants not only on your country but around the world as well. It's frustrating at first. I have been through many rejections before I found a job that fits me.

It is quite frustrating. I'm new to this finding job online, and it's so much harder that i thought it would be. I landed my first freelance gig last month and it turn out well at first but when the submission of the project came, my employer is nowhere to be found! Yes, I got scammed hard! So for the new online freelancers out there, make sure that your employer is from a legit company and please do a background check before accepting a project because scammers are everywhere!

True, I started doing freelance before to feed my curiosity. I accepted a job as a data encoder to type screen captcha and stuff. I wasn't aware of the scams and stuff and never really made a research on what a scammer does. There is something that an old freelancers do that they check the profile of the employer 1st if they pay their employees. I haven't check that because my mindset is to land a job and get the ratings. And guess what? Employer ran away after me typing 1000 captchas.

I am a newbie in online job or should they call it freelance industry. I used to work in a call center as a customer service representatives. My feeling is that i have pretty much a lot of things to learn and research regarding this kind of job. And I should say that freelancing is way to much better than a regular work simply because, You can do pretty much you want and you can handle your own time. Somewhat like a business man or a boss of your own company. I believe that online jobs can help you earn more than a regular job. If you are serious on what you do and you have the determination and passion to love what you do.

I was amazed that there was such an opportunity to work online at the comforts of your own home. I do have a stable job where I go to office but having an online job that I can once I get home is a great opportunity to earn money. Especially for those who don't earn that much on their job, having an online job can be a great way to boost your income.Plus, it is also possible to have multiple online jobs to earn more. There are lots of possibilities and opportunities. I just love it.

If you want to earn money online then you'd better prepare a lot of spare time, there is no easy way and not a single way that doesn't require either time or money. You are going to have to invest one of the two things. If you are good at programming then you might find some freelancing online, which is going to be faster, but you need the skill. Freelancing otherwise it's really that good, because's there's a ton of competition and the chance of you being selected is minimal.

To be completely honest, I have actually had a very poor experience in searching for part-time work online. I found that a lot of sites are not reliable enough to commit your time to, and many just have ridiculously poor pay rates. After a while, I pretty much gave up entirely in my search. Instead, I opted for looking for work as a freelancer. It isn't the most stable work either, but once you've made a place for yourself it can become a reliable source of income. I'm by no means a professional yet, but thankfully I do have some marketable skills so I think that working on this career is a better investment of my time than endlessly searching for part-time jobs to no avail.

It's hard and exciting at the same time. Hard because you keep searching job posting sites and looking for available job that would fit your skills and abilities. One reason I want to work online is that I do not want to go out and torture myself in the traffic. It is also actually exciting searching a part time job online since it's home based. I can choose my time, no hassle and I can wear anything I like. However, the most important and most rewarding is when you got to see your earnings in Paypal.

I'm also new in this job. I have also tried those jobs you all talked about but nothing really goes well for me, there's this one which i joined and pay for membership which say i just have to type captcha, but after joining and typing straight wholeday for 3 days and i notice i have reach only $02. I stop ofcourse. I also tried survey sites but there's always no available survey in the area so i disregard it too. I even checked those sites where you can sell your skills but sadly transcribing or all about typing kr encoding is the only job i am fit to but the competition is really tough cause there's so many professional that are way too good and experienced than i am. So i also disregard it. Then i discovered postloop. Well, here i am, that's the only site that i was able to enjoy. I like reading and writing about different point of view so i like it. And it's the only online job now that i'm working on part time.

Finding money online is a difficult job for those people who do not know the internet. You gotta have at least basic to intermediate knowledge about what you are trying to get into. If you ask me how I feel finding jobs online, I am personally enjoying it because I never thought you could find a lot of opportunities to earn extra money. You can sell, you can type, create your own youtube channel, make your own website, and many other stuff you can do to earn. I felt the need of getting extra income when I started to have a family, and it helps because you can buy the things you want from the money you got online.

I just started with this online jobs, and I find it really hard to do. Lots of ways to do online but all I found was sites that just pay a dollar or two with more than a week. tried different options like freelancing, typing captchas, and other stuffs but still no results on the things I'd done. So I can say based on my experiences that this is really hard for people who just started with this kind of jobs. But I'm not losing hope just because I experience this kind of things, I'm just gonna work harder until I get my first dollar online and after that I'm gonna work even harder to get my first thousand dollars online. Hoping for the best but expecting for the worst is still the name of the game.

It is also very economical because you don't need a transportation to start your work. You can finish your job a head of time and you can rest soon. It also help me a lot to develop my writing skills. Lastly doing an online job is a decent work.

If you're gonna work online I suggest offering your talents or expertise for a fee, and picking up as many new skills as possible. Then marketing those. Also you can hook up with other teams and write or blog for them from time to time. It won't pay much but it'll get your name and brand out there. You really have to think of yourself or your blog or your site or publication as a brand. Then market it as such. Become highly active on social media and market your brand through that aspect. That's when companies will want to do business with you and pay you nice coin to pimp their stuff to your audience. Then if they purchase or show great interest in said products, it'll allow you to do more business with these companies and charge a higher rate.

It also depends on the type of work you are looking for, the hours you are willing the work, and the time that you are willing to put into it. A few years back I was literally making pinnies a day online and now i make dollars. Just stay focused and understand that it is a process that you learn through trial and error.

It's difficult to find an online job because basically, I will start at the very bottom where a very few or no one believes and trusts me. And there are so many people that have a lot of experience in online jobs like freelancing so the tendency is that people will most likely get the service of the top freelancers. It's hard to be successful in freelancing right now unless you have a very unique and special skills that majority of freelancers doesn't have.

PTC most of the time worth nothing, you're just wasting your time. Crowdsourcing jobs can work as a complement, but sincerely, it'll be pretty hard and a little bit unreal to make a full live with it. There are some options that pay well enough, but they are more difficult. You could try LeapForce or Appen. If you're good with a complement of your incoming, clickworker and other stuff will do the cut. The classic "beermoney".

I've tried many different kinds of online side-gigs and overall I've found most of them to not be worth the time or the effort to bother with unless one had a bot to help them. Pay-to-click sites take up way too much time for too little pay and have very low caps on how much you can earn per day; most online surveys won't accept me; even sites like MTurk and CrowdFlower would give me errors whenever I'd try to complete tasks for them. The most I've found that I've been able to work out without much difficulty is video farming and pay-to-post sites. I especially enjoy the pay-to-post sites since I can get paid for arguing with random strangers on the internet, and there's no greater accomplishment in life than to get paid for doing something you love. I recommend doing something like that.

It's like a roller coaster ride. Some companies will hire based on your work experience and skills. Since some of the companies would hire you for a certain work or position, however, the skills that you have won't fit to their job description. There's so many scam sites over the internet you didnt know who is true and really pay for your hardwork but as time goes by, there are things that you will discover and will help you to be more intelligent in finding the right site that will not scam you. So being an online worker, it is not easy, you have to really work in order for you to earn.

What's funny is, I found it harder to find legit paying jobs onlines which both interest me, and doesn't pay too little, compared to my day job.

First ones I've tried were websites such as rewarding ways, cash crate and about 2 more which had the same concept as theirs. It was ok at first, I was quite patient despite being paid too little for my taste. I eventually realized after a few days that it's just not worth sacrifing both my time and effort earning that way. Plus, my fingers were too sore from all that clicking but I was still too far from payouts.

After all that, I tried searching from blogs which jobs they can recommend. It took quite a while for me to find a job that I'd actually enjoy doing. That's how I found myLot and postloop.

Totally agree with you, its really hard and very time consuming. And most of the times, those people who earn a lot online ends up just another person looking for referrals to build their down line. Lots of online programs out there that says you can earn one up to a hundred dollars a day just by joining them then ends up that you had to pay for registration and refer lots of people to join the site, most of them are on multi-level marketing scheme just with different schemes embedded on their program. Tired of hearing those so I just stick to what I enjoy a lot doing which is writing.

I am a freelancer working from home. I never had a regular job, and all my life I have been a freelancer. I work offline as well as online, however, I am more of an online freelancer than an offline freelancer. One of the drawbacks of working online is low payment. When I write 1000 words for print publication, I can make at least $20, however, the same article will not fetch even $10 if I am selling online.
Second problem associated with online freelancing is, it is really hard to get a job. There is always scarcity of job.
If I am lucky, sometimes I can make upto $800 in a month, which is a lot of money in my home country, however, sometimes, I am not even able to make $100 in a month.
