What are the things you do to take away your stress?

During tough days, we feel stressed.
First thing I do when I am stressed, I eat chocolate and try to sleep. Sleeping is my stress reliever. Because I can rest my mind, I have nothing to mind about what's going around and most especially, you can forget the world and have fun with your dreams.

So what are the things you do to cast those stress away?

Eating might not solve stressful issues for long. It might actually leads you to dreadful consequences of your body. Nowadays, stress-free world is too expensive. Stress stimuli are persistently anywhere. What we should want to learn is not stress relief but stress management.

The first step in handling stress is to evaluate it as controlable or not. One should ignore the things that are beyond their scope of capabilities and focus on the controlable ones.

One of the wisest options I had when dealing with stress is to start by asking "Is this really worth my time?" or "Is this in line with the principles in life I'm upholding?" or "Will it affect my loved ones?" If no, then ignore the stimuli. If yes, be emotionally intelligent. Think of the root cause of that stimuli and solve it from there.

And also, have a support group and build it wisely.

I like listening to music when I'm stressed or exercising. It's always hard for me to relieve stress by sleeping right away like what rona14 does because negative thoughts in my mind prevent me from falling asleep most of the time. I usually prefer exercising first before sleeping to get rig of those negative thoughts in my mind.

I do a bit differently during tough and stressful days. I try first to calm down and after I succeed I do listen to music or play video games cause they are really good stress relief for me. On rare occasions, I do smoke some weed with the bong that I bought from
https://pipesarsenal.com/t436wg-pu...rain-electrical/. I do not do it often and when I do it I do smoke medical marihuana that does not make you high when you smoke it, but it does help me with my anxiety and panic attack that can occur after stressful days.

I work 160 km away from my family and I return home once in two weeks. I have a stressful job and going home its always like a holiday. When I'm home, in the evening I walk with the dogs and this is the thing that relaxes me the most. The two days that I spend home are sometimes enough to charge with energy for the next two weeks but not always. I had days when I wanted to kill someone, when my brain is boiling and it suggests me to kill someone or just to punch him in the face. These days are not productive, I just sit and think about how I beat my colleagues. For these days I bought a few packs of Etizolam from https://worldpharm365.com/product/...uy-with-bitcoin/ which treas, which treats mental disorders. After one pill I'm able to concentrate on my work and get along with the colleagues. And that's how I survive from one week to another nowadays.

I just found out about Kratom last night and was very curious about trying it, so I decided to stop at wekratom and give it a shot. When I entered the site I have found a lot of information about the supplement. My first purchase were the kratom strains. Effects take place in about 30 minutes after consumption and I'm very happy with my purchase. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place to either a newbie like me or someone who is experienced with the supplement. I have got a lot more facts about it than I thought I would. This is the best service for buying kratom products, as for me.

I got rid of stress by eating doughnuts and drink cocoa. After a year of
this calming method, I weighed 67 kg, my tall was 165 cm. Then I decided seriously take up of sport. And then I understood that sport
also can help you get rid of stress. And it seems that this method is
much more effective. However, I didn't always have time to do sport.
Then I added soothing oils in my food. I took them from

It's different for everyone like I know me and my friends all have different stuff that workes for us, for example, one of them goes running, while when I tried that I felt more stressed than ever. Others go to the gym, I'm not fond of that either. Others paint, but I have no artistic talent whatsoever. When I was in horrible shape my therapist recommended me herbal rva and it's the one thing that workes for me, I know that my sister can't stand it, but for me it workes wonders. You should really do reserach before you try it and also speak with a specialist.

Eating chocolates can be a good way to avoid getting stressed because eating the equivalent of one average-sized dark chocolate candy bar each day for two weeks reduced levels of the stress hormone cortisol as well as the “fight-or-flight” hormones known as catecholamines in highly stressed people. Sleep is also a good idea because it also reduces levels of the cortisol hormone. There are a lot of other ways to reduce stress. For example, one of my friends ordered from sakratom.com some kratom capsules, that are also known to reduce stress, and he said it really helps. I want to order some for myself as soon as possible.

Oh, stress always accompanies me through life. This is due to the specifics of my work. A heavy workload, always dissatisfied customers - and as a result, by the evening I become terribly nervous and excited. Obviously, against the background of this condition, I had hellish headaches, which I tried to eliminate with the help of painkillers.
At first, everything was fine, it really worked. But it lasted exactly until I became dependent on them and they simply stopped acting on my body. So I discovered the chiropractic method. It allows you to get rid of pain in the body (back, shoulders, etc.), and most importantly for me from headaches. Chiropractic helps to restore balance to the musculoskeletal system of our body, correcting alignment problems in the joints. I chose the Lincoln Chiropractor (larsonchiro.com). Now I've forgotten what a headache is. And with small outbreaks of stress, I cope with a cup of green tea.

What I do when I'm stress, well basically I just eat a lot hahaha and I guess it is the best stress reliever and I'm watching some funny videos in YouTube so that I can somehow forget all my problems and try to be happy at the moment. I just do this stuff so that I can cope out the stress out of my life and I keep in mind the positivity to remove negativity while taking consideration also about the reality. God bless everyone and thank you.

Whenever I feel stressed, I would prefer to have a cup of hot tea. Tea is literally my stress reliever. I also love to hear some light music, it helps me to relax my mind and reduce my stress level.

During weekends, I would love to indulge myself in a d.i.y home spa, I used to pour my lavender essential oil in the oil- diffuser, take a massage and then a warm shower. This helps me a lot to relieve all my stress due to my work pressure from the previous week days.

When I'm stressed out I just go to the department store and do the window shopping. If I have extra money I travel with my family because as what I have learned, traveling is the best medicine to cure anxiety caused by stress. Sometimes I went to spa and pampered myself with one hour whole body massage.

Agreed. Traveling is the number one stress reliever. The change of scenery can really help you a lot. A simple get away would also suffice. But if I don't have a money to travel, I just lay down on my bed and watch some movies, would be fine.

When I get stressed out, I usually just kiss my daughter and all the exhaustion will go away, simple as that! One way that I could blow stress away is EATING! I feel blessed to have a body that could not get fat easily so I don't really care about how much I eat most of the time. Of course, stress-eating is not good but it could really make you happy! Also, you could try talking to someone when you get so frustrated. It's important to have someone listen to your rants rather than just keeping all your worries inside so at least talk to a friend or your mom or best, pray to God! I know everything will be okay.

Wow, very cool, kissing your daughter takes away your stress, awesome. It's like you love her to the high heavens.
You are right about talking to someone, when you are frustrated, it's really helpful, it's a better way of reliving yourself, instead of keeping mute. When ever i feel frustrated, i find someone i will complain to and rant about, after doing that i always feel relived and better.

What do i do when I'm stressed?
I listen to music, it helps calm my mind and think about my problem, it helps me think how do i solve the problem. Music is my stress reliever, when im alone I can listen to music all day. That's one of the reason why music makes me calm, sometimes music can really go inside your soul, and feel what was going on your mind right now.

I like to play my guitar; that always helps me to blow off stress every time. Just strumming it in different rhythms soothes me and probably even lowers my blood pressure. I also really enjoy hanging out with my girlfriend or other friends. My girl has a way of soothing me as well, and she can generally help me keep a clear head and to chill out when things in life are throwing me curve balls and getting difficult. Also, I like to watch movies and listen to music. One of the best ways to alleviate stress is to exercise, and I love going on long walks around a nearby lake, and I also love playing basketball with friends and neighbors.

Stress is a very natural emotional status where everybody is exposed of daily. Most of the time, I take stress more as a challenge rather than a problem so that I can deal with it preferably. Being challenged everyday tends to make you a little bit better than your old self and help you face another day a head. Although, if I get stressed to much I will take a deep breath and count to ten slowly, inhaling and breathing out every number counted. With this method you can calmly confront your problems. However if this still doesn't work out. I will leave the place immediately and go somewhere peaceful to release my tension. On the contrary, if you don't have the leisure, drinking a glass of water slowly will also do the job.

what I do to relieve my stress is I try to talk to someone asking for council someone that I trust and preferably knowledgeable in the subject matter that I'll ask. and if all works out then my stress will slowly fade away.

If talking doesn't cut it i'll go to plan B which is to have a drink lol, alone or with someone. I know that drinking doesn't really help but whatever helps me sleep through the stress will do.

another thing I try is some recreational activities (if I'm still in the mood...)

I have my children, as my stress reliever. Because, when ever I saw each one of them, I have a deep relaxation just to see them happy. Also,
happiness is the key to keep away your stress, and that happiness was my
wife, and my children. I don't usually take more vitamins, because
stress is a common deficiency of lacking vitamins, and nutrients.

Everything was stressful, and that's why, when we over think about it. It will just become another non sense of
stress. I always set my mind to think clearly, and peacefully. Not all,
we think will have a solution. Let the problem, problem itself, and be happy, as my happiness was my family.

I don't have children but I have some nephews and nieces and whenever I am around them I feel even more stressed, lol. I guess if they were my own I wouldn't feel that way because that's what I have heard from parents, or maybe I'm just not that into kids. I still play with them and joke around with them but I have to admit I feel tired even after just a few hours with them.

What I do to relieve my stress from studying all day in our hell-like university is playing video games and reading articles and books. In that way, I feel relaxed and regain my thinking abilities being able to to think wise and do my daily tasks easily. I also play relaxing musics in spotify since a study shows that playing relaxing musics help to retain more information in your brain. As a student, I should be able to capture things and stuff in my brain and retain those information for exams. Sometimes, drinking a cup of coffee can relieve stress so just grab a cup of coffee whenever you are stress and just live life without any worries.

Watch something funny. Laughter really is the best medicine. It relieves physical tension, reduces stress and increases immunity.so watch your fave comedy and laugh your way to tranquility
Another is Sleep well. Whilst stress can interfere with sleeping, sleeping can also relieve stress. So use some of our chilling out tips to help you relax before bed. Another is play a team sports. Like basketball or going into the gym with friends. Whilst any exercise works wonders, team sports may be better for your mental health than exercising alone as they promote a sense of connection and can reduce social anxiety. Another is Listen to Music. Instrumental Music is best to keep you calm and think Efficiently. Last Avoid negativity. Don’t let other people’s negativity shoot your adrenaline levels through the roof. It’s important not to judge someone for being negative, try to support them but make sure you separate your identity and emotions from it.

Great advice, I find the best way to get myself smiling again is to watch one of my favorite comedies, Caddyshack. It's so important to let yourself forget the stress and enjoy yourself for a few hours. With that rejuvenation, you can be better equipped to handle the stress, too.

Also, it's ok to be a little bit selfish if you need to cut negative people out of your life. Sometimes we try so hard to accommodate others that we let our own health/sanity go by the wayside.

There are many days where we find ourselves overwhelmed and feeling stressed out. There are so many different ways to relieve that stress, but it depends on an individuals likes and dislikes. As for myself, I like to take the stress away by singing and writing music. I really enjoy it because it relaxes me and I am able to concentrate on the music alone. It is a great way to express yourself about all that is on your mind!

You are very correct my friend, what helps us with stress management differs based on our personality and experience as well as preferences. What works for Mr. A wouldn't necessarily work for Mr. B when it comes to handling stressful situations. So therefore, handling stressful situations differs from one person to another. Personally, I love listening to music or watching movies.

When I am stressed I usually try to sleep, watch movies or my favorites Tv shows but, you shouldn't watch your phone. That is the best way for me to take out all that stress I have on my mind. Especially, when you are stress or depress because of your problems with your partner, Boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. This strategy is so effective. The last time I felt like that I spend all day sleeping, watching movies and eating.
Them when I felt so much better I looked at my phone and there it was a text from him.

Catch up on my favourite TV shows. It is the best thing to do when you are stressed because you can just forget about what happened to make your stressed and you can just completely think about the TV show. The best things to watch are probably comedies which is why I like to watch Friends. It just completely gets rid of your stress because of how funny it is.

In my experience, the absolute best thing to take away stress is to meditate. I know many of you may not like or not even tried it, and trust me, I was just like you. However, after I broke up with my last girlfriend and was feeling pretty down and stressed out with life in general, I tried it, and man it was really helpful. You just have to sit still and breathe in/out for a few minutes, and by the time you finish it you'll feel much more relaxed.

Haha, you are like my best friend then. She always eats some chocolate when she's stressed out so if I am ever in doubt, I just look if she's munching on a chocolate bar What are the things you do to take away your stress? anyway, what do I do? My favorite stress reliever is meditation. I have been practicing meditation for a while now and I absolutely love it. It's so incredible when you feel in sync with your body and mind. If you do it every day, you will feel a huge difference in one or two weeks - in general, you won't get stressed as fast and you will see things differently.

Besides the meditation, I also love to listen to music. I have a special playlist on Spotify called "Relax and breathe". It consists of extremely relaxing and chilled out tunes. It always distresses me and turns me back into my normal self.

It depends on the level of stress you are in. When you are really really stressed like stress level 99, then i suggest you quit what you are doing. Life is so short to spend it on something you do not really like doing. Or maybe, you are just stressed due to a busy work day, then I suggest do your stuff that makes you feel at ease. Me, I play with my kids, they are my number one stress reliever, tested and proven. At work, I go down the building and buy 2 bars of Reese Chocolates, then stress level goes down a bit. My all time stress reliever is a power nap, its so effective that after 10-15 minutes of napping, you regain strength and energy to work again. Don't mind your boss. Just work until its time you go home! Effective 100%!

Eating definitely helps me reduce stress, much like the other people commenting. Seeing my girlfriend and us just being happy helps and watching people like Steve-O who do stupid stuff to make people laugh makes me not think about the world so much and my obligations. It just lets me focus on being happy. I use video games to escape the stress too and get lost in a different world were I have to worry about monsters killing me instead of work piling up, I know its weird. If your a gamer you know it helps. I just tell my self its not a big deal, think of the worst situation and say, "Hey, its not that bad."

If I am very stressed or angry I need to breathe fresh air so I go for a walk, for a run or just do some sports to focus on the physical part. The thing that also helps me is lemon balm tea which is great for calming down (and I recommend to drink it before exams or other stressful situations). Anything that keeps your brain focused on something else works.

Same as me really. If I am feeling a bit too lazy then I will probably just watch my favourite TV shows or play some video games on my PlayStation 4. Sometimes I will just feel down but I just don't feel like going out. But if I do have a bit of energy and feel a bit better then I will probably go for a bit of a walk. Walks are always great if you can walk to a place where it is quite and relaxing.

I am not usually under a lot of stress, but there's a couple of things that relieve it for me. I'd either do something on my PC that requires a lot of my attention, such as playing fast paced games or watching series that intrigue me. If I am not doing anything on my computer then going out on a walk usually takes my mind off things especially when you meet people here and there and they take your attention.

I know stress is a situation that can make us feel bad about ourselves, try to give up on life as well as think that nothing good might work out for us anymore. Whenever I feel stressed up or have my head feeling down or heated up, I try the dehydration process which is taking lots of water or a liquid like coke/milk to help revive myself.

Also, I always stop everything I am doing at that particular moment and try to take some rest, like you rightly pointed out, or just being a calm motion just to keep my brain calm. It is never an easy moment to feel stressed up, but I do not think it is a period we have to give up on everything.

The most effective method that relieves stress after a tough day usually it is taking a hot bath. I start with switching off my mobile phone then head straight into the bathroom for a hot shower. The last bit is to watch something funny, mostly I am a fun of comedies which work like a therapy when am watching them.

Some things that relax me include coffee, baths, light piano music, and candles. I love to combine some of these things to create relaxing moments for myself when I really need it. I think taking care of stress in one's body has to do with finding out what makes you happy and gives you relaxed mind and spirit. For me, it's gaming and little booze.

The combination of these two things relives my body and my veins the stress of the day, and once am done with both sleep kicks in immediately. As I wake up say in 3-5 hours time, my body feels so refreshed, calmed and relaxed.

To quiet our senses, we have to have our "me time". Stress as we often relate to outside stimuli, not knowing that sometimes our own mind creates one. So to rewind ourselves from the hustle and bustle of daily grind, find time to be alone. Walk around with your pet, jog for a few minutes or just find your abode in one of your comfort zone. You may not necessarily relieve yourself with all the stress but it will somehow quiet your senses for that needed break. Smile and enjoy life.

Three hours of exercise that consists of jumping rope, boxing, and dancing take away my stress. I exercise at least 6 times a day. I prefer doing it at home because I have a sick parent who need to be check from time to time. I was 250 lbs last October 2016 when I have decided to live a healthy lifestyle. I must admit that my fear of becoming ill like my father triggered me to improve my health. Aside from it's primary benefit of keeping my body and muscle toned, I know that exercise pumps up our endorphins, a chemical found in our brain that act as natural pain killers and also help in improving our ability to sleep. I have trouble with sleeping when I don't have any chance to exercise for 3 consecutive days. Exercising is indeed my lifestyle and my stress reliever.

Eating your favorite food, going out alone or buying some groceries will also make you feel better when you are stressed. Things or activities that will divert your thinking is a good practice to manage stress. What are the things you do to take away your stress?

When I am stressed, I usually eat a lot. Sometimes I read books to get myself bored and get sleep the entire day. I also do exercises. But somehow when it's not bearable anymore, I drink with my buddies and let it all out. You just need someone to hear you out and comfort you.

There are a lot of things you can do to take away your stress. For me, I have done so many things that took away my stress like playing some games but not the games that relaxes me because there are some sort of games that give me stress. The other thing is listening good music like 80's and 90's music I think this one is the that relaxes me so better because when I'm listening while my eyes closed I feel my body and mind calm and if the music and the environment is quiet I fell asleep sometimes and when I woke up, it feels good and make your mood so good too. Additionally I think some of you out there that sleeping is the best way to relax, relieve your stress and problems for a while I know it might not take away your problems after you woke up but I think your brain will be restored after you sleep or took a nap, so, your brain will ready again to take control of your problems and stress I know about this cause I always sleep when I feel stress and having problems. So I suggest you should sleep with a music when you feel stress.

I must be very lucky because I don't stress over things which I cannot control, and if I can control something I just do it. So there is no stress in my life, and I just take everything in as it comes, and so far this mentality has worked wonders for me. Not sure how long it will ultimately last, but I'll just ride the wave and see where it goes, so to speak.

But if I was to suffer from stress, I would probably get a massage, bathe in the sun, read a good book or just sleep it off. Anything to just block out all the stressing things from my life.

When I'm in stress I listen to different kinds of music while eating good foods. Or I do read different kinds of genre in fiction. It takes my mind off the thing that stresses me. However, if it still bothers me, I open up to my sister and talk about it. It's helps me get it off. We may not find a solution but at least I have someone who'll listen. There are just things that you can't solve. And sometimes you are stressing about things that shouldn't be stressing about.

Every time I feel stress, my first idea to do is talk to my father. I am daddy's boy, he is a great dad. Whenever I have a problem, I always talk to him, share it with him. And he never fails to make me happy. I also talk to my love ones, my girlfriend, she's there always for me, every time I tell her I have a problem, she immediately come over here in our house and she always make me feel better. Sometimes, I play music when I am stress, I also eat when I am stress. Sometimes, I go outside, meet my friends to chill and relax. I also play basketball when I am stress. I am very thankful having these kind of people always making me feel better.

I usually listen to music and do meditation. Those two things help a lot. Recently learned about meditation and mindfulness exercise. And from what I have learned so far. I think if those two things practiced, then surely it can be a good option to get rid of the stress. I think by being pushy about the future, you are going to have your own set of the issues. That being said, the stress is something people don't really understand how it comes and damages the mind. But this topic needs to be taken seriously. That's how things can be improved.

Unlike other physical exercises, I believe that running can make us feel stronger and it surely washes away any of our stressful thoughts. I sometimes join running with other acquaintances so I can make new friends and workout at the same time. This is the way i get benefits of socialization and get exposed to fresh air.

To take away my stress, I just listen to music. Regardless if it's rock or hip hop or pop, as long as there's music on the background, it relaxes me. I constantly have music running in the background the whole day. I can't sleep without music playing. When I'm in the office, I still play music through my SoundMagic IEMs. When I ride the public trasport to and from work, I still play music and sleep during the ride. I just can't live without music on. I guess it just doesn't relax me, it's a necessity and life would be dull without it.

I have quite a number of things that I do in order to relieve stress. One thing I love to do is play video games. They can be an effective and entertaining distraction, and certain games which aren't focused around intense action or violence can actually be a really relaxing experience. Meditation and exercise are two other means of reducing stress, and are arguably a healthier choice than sitting around playing video games. Meditation helps me clear my mental clutter so I can think more clearly, and exercise helps release all those feel good hormones so I feel more positive and optimistic about my situation. And at the end of the day, I like to top things off by reading a good book or watching some YouTube videos and having a warm cup of relaxing tea.

What I usually do is to play computer games or play guitar. These are the ways for me to get rid of stress and relax. Sleeping is also good to do but I do not recommend to do it always because you become unproductive so what I do is to exercise or sometimes go to the gym rather than doing nothing at home. As much as possible I do not do stress eating because I care so much about my health and it would only cause me much more problems.

Guitar playing, for most of the time. I rely on close friends too, sometimes we just like to hang, drink some beer and throw some talk away. But, seriously, these things are just cycles. You see, when I come home and play my guitar, or when I hang out with some friends, after that I feel renewed, some time later I'll become stressed again. So I guess it's just a matter of how good you can balance those things.

I will do a variety of things to relieve stress. Taking a break from whatever work I'm doing and just having some time to myself is usually my first course of action. I enjoy listening to music and discovering new artists, so that's always a nice little escape for me. I enjoy catching up on TV shows whenever I get chance since I only ever have time to watch maybe one or two episodes at a time. And of course, spending time with my friends is always the best method of relieving stress for me.

Sometimes it good just go out to eat with people you like and talk about things that don't have to do with whatever job I'm working on at home!

Hanging out with friends and doing stuff together can be quite relaxing. You can go on trips, you can go swimming, chill at the mall or just go for a drive while listening to good music. If your group is not the outgoing and outdoorsy type, you can all just gather at one of your friends house. Even then, there's a whole lot of stuff you can still do. You can play video games, order in some pizza and soda, watch movies or sports and jam and drink in the evening. it doesn't really matter what you do. As long as everyone's enjoying each other's company, that is what really counts. This works out well for me. Every time I meet my group of friends, we are able share our burdens and encourage each other. This really lifts a lot of pent up stress and frustration from me. You should try it too.

When I am stressed out I sit to meditate. Meditation is a wonderful technique to relax your mind. I have used various meditation techniques and based on my experience, I can say mindful meditation is the best.
Meditation starts with concentration. When I am too stressed out to concentrate. I enter the kitchen and begin to cook. Cooking is also a wonderful way to de-stress. Spending few hours in my garden also helps me to alleviate my stress.

The things that I do when I'm stressed is always go have a good time with my friends or family, it's either having a drink or just doing fun things. I do this to forget my problems for the meantime so that my stress level would go down and when it's time to face the problems, my mind is relaxed to make or come up with solutions that may solve the problems that I have. Relieving stress is important for everyone, because if you just work and work with a lot of stress and not even trying to reduce it, the end results would probably be not good or bad. So just always try to Relieve your stress every time you have a chance so that it won't pile up, don't wait for the day that your going to explode because of too much stress you have.

Coping with stress is not an easy one. In order to avoid stress an individual must first identify the things that contributes to his stress. If you are stressed out you can do deep breathing exercise to lessen the anxiety. You do activities that will divert you attention such as walking, watching movies, yoga, exercise and etc. Some people tend to eat more when they are stress but that coping mechanism is very harmful to our health. You can listen to some inspirational talk by some famous person. But most off all just pray to the Almighty if you are stress. Remember that He will not give you a problem that you cannot solve.

In today's world, everyone has stress. Even the teenagers have a lot of stress and anxiety. I follow these steps to reduce stress everyday.

1) After waking up at 6 AM in the morning, I take a walk around my neighbourhood. The morning air relaxes me and reduces all my stress.
2) I practice meditation for 10-15 minutes in the morning.
3) Listen to soothing music.
4) Exercise for 20-25 minutes. Basic exercises like situps, pushups, planks and jumping jacks always uplift my mood on the saddest day.
5) I talk with optimistic people.
6) Make a list of all the things I have to do in the day and complete them one by one.

I use to play badminton with my friends and for me this is the best stress reliever of all. The other one is singing in a karaoke in a mall with my special someone. I'm not that good at singing but this is one way to take away your stress and everyone can do it. You should try to do this. Next is bonding with my family. Bonding with your family is great. The things that I do to take away my Stress is:
Listen to music - try taking a break and listening to relaxing music. Playing calm music has a positive effect on the brain and body, can lower blood pressure, and reduce cortisol, a hormone linked to stress.
Call a friend - take a break to call a friend and talk about your problems. Good relationships with friends and loved ones are important to any healthy lifestyle, and they’re especially important when you're under a lot of stress.
Eat right - Stress levels and a proper diet are closely related. When we’re overwhelmed, we often forget to eat well and resort to using sugary, fatty snack foods as a pick-me-up.
Laugh it off - There's a saying that Laughter is the best medicine. Laughter releases endorphin's that improve mood and decrease levels of the stress-causing hormones cortisol and adrenaline. Laughing tricks your nervous system into making you happy.

I have different techniques to make myself feel better whenever I feel too anxious whenever things don't go my way. I'd listen to music, read books, eat comfort food, watch game of thrones, and go shopping. The best thing that could get me through the times I'm about to burst due to extreme stress is prayer. I find journaling immensely helpful. I'm the kind of person who can't just breathe and let my stress drain out of me like many yogis teach during meditation. I need to let it out somehow. Back when I used to learn martial arts, I would let out my stress by kicking and punching things. Now that I don't have that kind of outlet anymore, I've turned to the power of the pen. After I finish a journaling session, it's almost like a huge weight has been lifted from my chest. Somehow, while writing, my mind was able to process whatever was stressing me out and has found a way to deal with it. Writing has helped me become more aware of my thoughts and emotions too. So now, not only do I have a very effective way to de-stress, I tend to get stressed less often too.

What do I do when I'm stressed depends on the reason I was stressed about. When I get stressed out because of work, I tend to think about a skeleton of the solution and then move away from it. Stress due to work often entails a well thought of solution but i strongly believe that this has nothing to do with emotions in order to fix it up properly. Therefore when I get stressed due to work, my emotions are elevated enough to cause me such a stress. So i try to solve it when I take my emotions away from it and analyze it based on a clear thoughts. When I am still too caught up with it, I usually step back a little by focusing on other things not related to this. When it's not possible, I draft a solution and then leave it be to rejuvenate my emotions first. It always help to stay emotionally detached to work-related stresses so that you can think clearly and positively.

When your stress comes from personal level, like family, friends or similar, I usually go to my comfort zone. Which is reading a good book or watching something uplifting and encouraging. When stress level is too extreme, I write a journal. This may seem useless but in truth it really is helpful. Afterwards, you have unloaded something heavy in you and you can go on shedding some stress along the way.

Now when stress comes from health related issue, what I normally do is cleansing and half-fasting. Cleansing-- means eating something nutritious that I wouldn't normally eat or drink like herbal tea or concoction and try to fast half of the day. I believe this method somehow reboots my body and replenishes me once I feel so down physically.

But above all these, when you are stressed, and you happen to believe to a higher being above us, it really helps when you move a step back, close your eyes and utter a prayer to Him to hep you pass through a stressful phase of your life. Take it from a freelance engineer who is a mom and a wife who struggles to the life this world offers and who is also suffering from Psoriasis.

This is how I relieve my stress.

I do a lot of things to relieve from stress. I will list down the things I actually do.
1. Read gospels, magazines, books and any other papers that has a readable content.
2. Eat a lot of foods.
3. Exercise.
4. Play with my dog.
5. Play with my little brothers.
6. Play computer games.
That's all. But the most thing that I usually do among the six is number 6. I usually play computer games especially when I am very stressed. Why?, because it makes me feel relaxed and challenged at the same time causing myself to forget things that makes me stressed and also relieved myself from stressed. In our modern world today computer gaming is just a normal thing to do. Although sometimes it can cause human to become more aggressive or any other bad effects, it is just a fact of irresponsible use of computer gaming. There is no thing that cannot cause harm if we did not use it properly. So as a human in order to make ourself away from harm or danger we must use this things in a responsible way.

Omg I do too. I have gained a lot of weight because of that and it has been a struggle to actually get the weight off. I have been working out at the gym a lot as well as going to therapy to try and find out why I had this crazy eating habit. Therapy does help a little bit but it's still really hard to fight off the cravings sometimes. My therapist suggested I try CBD oils or gummies to try and keep my stress level on a certain level. I was skeptical especially since I did smoke weed in the past and had some crazy ass munchies afterwards. I did try it and surprisingly enough it did help. I have been using edibles ever since then. I usually order mine online of this website: https://www.koalitymedicinals.com/. I really like their products and the prices are not as bad. I Hope it was helpful
