should i write a story about my life??

Who has ever written a story on their own life? So many people don't even have a life exciting enough to write about. I am not saying that i have some crazy movie Hollywood life but i think my story could benefit people. I had a tough child hood for so many reasons and i have done many things i am not proud of. I have been able to change my life within the last 4 years thanks to Ionicware and another company i worked for previously. Either way showing that i went from negative to positive could make an impact in people lives.

I feel like my story could help younger people who are having issues with the law or parents. My friend Lynne recently wrote a book on addiction which was amazing to say the least. Her book has already touched few lives and possibly is changing people as we speak. I would like to follow in her footsteps and publish something that is close to me. Lynne inspired me to want to help people and i think that is what im going to do.

What do you guys think about this? Should i write something like this about myself? I would probably make it a multi part story for people to follow. Do you know anyone who has written a book about their lives?

this seems like a good idea. and im sure alot of people would read it, i would! everyone has different things going on in their lives that, anyone, i think is capable of writing a book about themselves. we all have different backgrounds and traditions and some people maybe dont have that but the point im trying to make is, not one of those stories would be the same. So if you are writing in hopes of helping someone, i think that is great and very commendable! This world is so negative and harmful that knowing there are still people, even if its just a small amount, out there willing to help.

i cant wait to read Lynne's ebook, i heard she has gotten some really amazing responses from it! I think it is so awesome to see people who got knocked down and swallowed up in life just get back up and be so determined to be positive and help other people who may have had a similar background!

oh and if you ever do write a story about your life, post it here i bet you could help someone here, even if its just one! keep us all updated on this jkeyz, i would love to follow your progress of your whole book. i could even help you edit it if you want, like before you publish it here or anywhere! i could help get all grammatical and sentence structure errors and maybe even help with a cover page if you are serious! LOL anyways, yea keep us updated please!

I can't say I have ever thought to write a story about my life. I have been through a lot during my life so I guess I could write a really good and interesting story right from birth until now. Many people do like these kind of things though, I guess in a sense it would be like your own biography if you were to write a story about your life and these kind of books tend to be most popular. You always see celebrities writing books about their life and they sell like crazy. People like to be involved, they like to know what is going on in other's lives and they like to feel like they can be part of it to by being told in some kind of story,

If you feel like you are able to write a story about your life I would go for it! What have you got to lose by trying?

Each of us have so much to tell to the world - a unique path that we all follow. The only problem is to put that into a story form which only few are capable of doing. If you have that in you then you must start writing right away - a few chapters at a time. Wish you good luck with your effort.

I too get that urge but my problem is to start the ball rolling (lol)

If I'm going to write a story about my life, I think this will be the best book I will ever read. I hope that I can inspire others to write their own book and maybe this will help them to be successful in life someday. For me, this is the greatest masterpiece I will ever made because I am the main character of the story and I will enjoy reading it several times.

Why not people will it,Personally I like reading autobiography you could learn one or two things about the person that could be immense benefits to you.

I have also been thinking about writing about myself,I know it will be a good read because I have been living a golden life though with all the ups and downs

Yes if you think you like writing down about story of your life way not, it would be a memorable one when you compile all those life stories you wrote. make it wonderful so that when you grow old you can read all those happening adventure in your life to remember.

Yeah definitely! you can write your own autobiography as a book, if u wish. It's not a bad idea. I personally love reading autobiograpgy books.

I never thought of writing my life story, I feel that it would not inspire others a lot.

Memoir do sell but they need to be super attractive. And often the tragedy included into it. Nobody wants to read the simple story where everything happened fine. That's not how it works. Because people like twists and turns over the simplicity. And on that point I'd say it'd be reasonable to have the memoir on topic such as the hardship life etc. That surely is a good way to describe the story. I'd say get a ghostwriter in that case who can help you into this type of work.

Yes, you should!! If you think your story could help those Young children nowadays who have issues about the law and their parents, why not? I'm pretty sure that it will help those young ones, they can maybe relate or get some advice or they can even get a tips on how to deal with that problem they had. So for me I didn't see any problem with sharing a story of anyone's life, because I believe that everybody has a great story.

I'd write an advice book and try and help people who're in situations similar to the ones you may be facing now or, have faced in the past. A book about your LIFE, your WHOLE life shouldn't be penned until you're at least 60 or something. Even though some people have lived a lot before the age of 30, still a book about ones life sells better to the public at large when they are 50 or over.

Everyone is special in his/her own way. Everyone's story is interesting. That's why there is a great market for autobiography and memoir. You should definitely venture on this genre and write your book
In the beginning, you will find very difficult to sell your book. People do not want to read about a man/woman that is unknown to them. You will have to convince your family and friends to buy your book and leave reviews on your book. When you get positive reviews, strangers might get interested as well.

Yes you should, I believe that it will help you in the near future. Writing about it and reading it a few years later shows how much progress that you done in those past years. I started writing mine when i met this certain girl and i will continue writing, So that i can show it to my future child. Trust me it will be great and you will be proud of yourself.

I think that this is a personal decision, if you think it's wise to open up about your life to the general public, I believe it is best known to you and you all. If you feel your life is worth sharing with the members of the public then it's your call to make.

But I must warn you to be careful on what you actually bring to light to the people about your life, as some things might go out of hand from my experience. And also you should be willing to handle the scrutiny of the public eyes and also the pressure that follows as well.

Personally, I have tried that a while back. I haven't been able to finish it because some memories were still too painful and recent to revive. Then I made a point to not try that again until I'm way older. That way I will have more to write about anyway

You can write in short memories. I think that way one can be more accurate in finishing the book. If you try to write too many things then it may stop you. And that writers block will surely restrict you on that part. Something like that can be really hard to understand on that point.

It is a good idea of writing story about your life. In that way of sharing, we may learn something from your story and past experiences for us to be aware or to know. I know its hard to recall some part of your life but it will depend on you. In this way also you can express your feelings, emotions and more about what kind of life you grown up. You will notice also the changes and how far have you been until now and there will come a time that you will just smile while reading those stories and will be proud of yourself and will consider this as an achievement and a treasure.

It is a good idea. I don't see any reason why you won't try this. You will never know if you people will buy your book or not unless you do it. Right? Every life story is interesting. If you think your life can help someone in this world, then don't stop writing or publishing this life story of yours. The first thing to consider is your personal feeling towards doing this. For me, my life is also interesting, but I am not like you who is ready to share his life to all. I think that is a gift you can share. Next is if you are planning to sell this, learn the business of it. Expect everything to expect when selling ebooks. I am a firm believer that whatever we do, if it's a good thing, don't stop doing it because it will attract the same energy you are giving away. Good luck on your book.

Its really up to you if you want to write the story of your but for me it is not nessessary because I believe that personal life story should be hidden in order for you to be not judge by others who doesnt know the real you.

I think that if people can learn something from your book then it will be a great idea to write about your life. There are so much to learn from others. If your book changes someone for the better then there is a great chance that he/she will recommend others to read your book and you are the one is going to benefit. So go for it.

You don't need to write any story about your life. People who know you are already helping you do that. Your friends, enemies, relatives, families, colleagues, and other people including your neighbours are the people who are writing stories about your life. Your entire bibliography is compiled right in their minds. They study you like books and write what they see about you down.

I think that's a good idea and you should go for it. I like reading true to life accounts of a person's life. My Grandfather authored and published his own autobiographical work, it's a book titled Great is thy Faithfulness it recounts his struggles when he was growing up detailing events he witnessed in the second world war.

There is nothing wrong in writing stories that involve your personal life as long as there are no places where you write about organized crimes. The reason I am saying such is that I have seen others that want to try such, but get arrested for some interrogation. So, no matter what you decide to write, make it not be a crime scene that will bring you down at the end of the day.
