If you want to donate to charities, I think having billions would enable you to give more to charities and help the needy people. You could help to charities without having billions, but you can reach out and help more people if you have billions. You could also create more businesses that would give jobs rather than just giving it to people.

Very interesting question to answer. If I have lots of money the first thing I would be secure myself and my family. Investing into business is a good way to start because it will make your income double. Buying commercial lots and sell it at a higher price is a good way of investing your money. Secondly, I would open up an educational plan for my kids so that their education is ready and set. Education is important because it's the only thing that can never be stolen. After securing my future and my family it's time for me to share my blessings like help my parents and relatives. Donating to some Foundation or Institute would be a good start. It's important to share the blessings so that you can help other people who are already down. If we lots of money we should be wise and not self-centered so that it would be worth it.

If I had billions of dollars I would first invest 25-30% to created non-stop residual income. Next I would create a trust fund for my children to secure them and their children financially well into the future. Then I would purchase land and build homes on the land that could be passed down for generations. I would also create endowment funds with three top charities/organizations of my choice, as well as develop my own non-profit for working single parents. Finally I would set-up a regular allowance for myself to use for fun things like tech, luxuries and travel.

If I have lots of money, I will make investments into areas which I believe have further growth. I might bring more franchises to my country. Besides that, I will also buy houses in different countries. I prefer living in houses compared to hotels so this would make my family feel great when traveling overseas. I think that we have all thought about this question before or at least I have. But I can never fully decide what I would do with such insane amount of money. Just imagine BILLIONS... I don't think that I even comprehend what sort of number that is and what you could buy yourself.

I think that I would also invest into businesses after consulting with my friends that know this aspect. I would see what they would recommend me - perhaps in some technology that is bound to become extremely popular. I'd love to give back to the community and the people in need. I always believe that if you have more than you need that you should share it. Of course, I'd save some of the money in a bank for ''just in case'' and some, I'd splash on spoiling myself, my family and my friends. A vacation in Hawaii sounds amazing

The first thing that I would do is help out my family, pay off all of their debts, and make sure that they had a better home to live in. I would find a better home for myself , buy a decent vehicle (probably a Subaru) and move. I do not really care about having billions of dollars and living a rich life; but I would like to have enough money that day to day existence is not a struggle, and a worry what would happen if we had unexpected financial expenses. I would move to the western coast of the United States and live by the Pacific Ocean, and I would go on a short cruise, just to see what it is like to be on a big luxury ship in the Caribbean .

To be honest, in terms of lifestyle I don't think that I would do many things much differently. However, that being said I do know a few things that I would do if I suddenly had a large amount of money available to me.

For starters, with a bit of professional help, I would invest a portion of it so that it would continue to make money for me. That is the best thing about being rich, in my opinion. All you have to do is invest in the right places, and you're almost guaranteed to never run out of money. The money you already have keeps making money for you.

Second, I would set aside a portion in case of extreme emergencies. Depending on where you live, disaster can strike and insurance may not be able to help you. With a large amount of money set aside, I know that if anything happens to me, my family members or my close friends, I can help them pay for the costs.

And third, I would just enjoy life. Not having to work would mean that I now have more time to enjoy my hobbies and just live at peace. A big part of any normal person's worries is whether or not they are going to have the money to pay for next month's bills, or have enough left to buy themselves something special. With that out of the way, I can just enjoy life to its fullest without any worries. I don't mean buying golden mansions or diamond studded toilets either. Just to be able to buy the latest video game console or go on vacation without having to take my budget into consideration.

Once everything is said and done, the rest that is left (because I definitely won't be using billions) is all going to charity.

I have to say that the first thing I would do if I were to suddenly come into lots of money, is take a nice, month long vacation in Europe with my husband. We honeymooned in some Europe a few years ago, but it was such short, tight budget trip. We've dreamed of returning someday and spending much more time, but life always has a way of making its own plans and so our plan to return to Europe slips away year by year. After we enjoy our trip, I think the next thing I would do is be responsible and do things like pay off our debt then make some investments for long term financial benefit. From there, I'd invest some of the money into community and social groups that we believe in, investing a good portion of it into low income schools in our area. Then, if there is still money, I would definitely do more traveling around the world, really check off some things from my Bucket List.

The first thing am going to do if i happen to fall into a large pool of money, has not be seen or heard neither has it been conceived in the hearts of men. Depends on how much I have to be honest. If it's an absolute large amount that I know I can survive on forever without a job then I will start to enjoy life straight away. I would buy a very nice house, some cars and then give out a bit to my closest family members. If I had enough, I might even buy some stocks in some large companies to ensure that I continue to earn a large amount of money so that my kids can enjoy life in the future as well.

I don't think I'd live that much differently, to be honest. I am content with just buying a small place and staying put and I guess the major difference would only be that I would worry a lot less about my income, but otherwise I think I will pretty much stay the same. I am not that much into luxury items like expensive cars and gadgets, so at most I'll probably just spend money on my hobbies which don't really cost that much anyway, but it would be nice to have a bigger budget to buy certain software that can make my life easier when pursuing my hobbies like digital design and music production.

1) Start my own charity fund with my own management to ensure that the funds I'm contribution aren't misused.
2) Set up a trust fund for my parents.
3) Set up a trust fund for any future offspring.
4) Perhaps set up a trust fund for other family members or just give them the money in installed payments.
5) Investments (stocks and or just more education for myself).
6) Travel!

Those are my plans if I ever have a windfall. I'd probably still be working (depending on the amount), though I'd probably reduce my hours or at least learn a skill which would allow me to work not 40 hours a week.

If I had lots of money, I would buy my family a huge house. We're renting right now so that's the first thing I would. Next, I'd buy my dream car, the Chevy Camaro. I will also invest my money in business. I'll buy a franchise for 7 Eleven or Ministop so I'll keep earning money. Your money will not last you a lifetime so you gotta have a business that will keep you earning money. I will not invest in charity, instead, I'll ride my Chevy Camaro and look people along the road and give them cold hard cash and give them food from McDonals or something. Supposedly I have billions of dollar, let say maybe a hundred, the most logical and maybe the most practical thing I would do is use it to USE it to ease and secure not only my living but of-course the life of my love ones. After doing that, whats left with those money will be put on banks definitely lots of it for safekeeping and maybe time deposit investments. There are lots of business out there that needs a lot of funds in order to be established and for sure I'll try to find that to secure more earnings cause that money will surely deplete in everyday use.

My Approach would be to invest into better sources and retain those billions. I wanted to have happy family, car and stuff. But it seems like that dream is fading away. If I were rich. There are a lot of things that I want to have for myself and for my family. First things should be first and that should be tithing and volunteers works such as feeding the children and home for the aged visits. Secondly, I would want to construct a house that is designed by me. i would enroll my child on a better university and prepare an educational fund for her education. I love this question as it immediately takes me to an island in Jamaica where I can relax. How I handled my finance would depend on how I obtained it initially. In other words, if I won the lottery, the first thing I would do is nothing. An appointment would be scheduled with a financial planner to determine the best way to invest my money. Once I set aside a reasonable amount of money, I would then make sure that my family had decent housing accommodations and transportation. The homes that I provided for them would be of such that they could manage the repairs, taxes, etc. People make ridiculous purchases like mansions and expensive cars and when their money runs out, they end up losing everything. Once my family is taken care of, I would then pamper myself. If my financial wealth came from my business, I would handle things similarly; however, I would issue gifts and funds in smaller increments. In my world, responsibility always comes first and pleasure is secondary. You have to have a place to come home to after you've had your fun.

The thing I would do is build animal shelters around the world to give a safe place to all those stray dogs and cats before they find a loving home. Build a public vet hospital to offer cheap medical service to all the families who have pets but don't have much money for the appointments. I would travel around the world as well and live three months in each country I visit, maybe get some simple job to experience more things. I would probably become one of the most outrageous philanthropists of all times. Like king Solomon said in the good book 'All is vanity'. There are lots of good that can be done in the world by lots of people who can and know better. They always remind us that only a very small percentage of the world is filthy rich and sometimes or most times for that matter it all comes down to a single man owning billions of dollars while a group of destitute people or country is somewhere out there thinking where is the next meal or investment fund is coming from. I would definitely setup a task force to counter some of this haenous lethargy in our world of wealth distribution. The concept of scarcity is pretty much like the concept of delinquency. It is a systematic, socialistic flaw in our modern day economic and so called wealth driven endeavor. Just because something does not exist in a particular circumstance or a particular location where it should exist does not mean it's non existent and even moreso not in today's world where everything and anything is readily available worldwide at the touch of a key and via a quick message across the world wide web. Yet still we hear excuses after excuses about shortages and devastations and demise as a result of the unavailability of funds or resources while somewhere in the world someone had an exotic brand of food or beverage flown thousands of miles across the globe to entertain guests at a prestigious party and the same jet could have made an extra stop on the way to drop off a few bails of food or clothing or well needed funds to facilitate a much needed cause. When we think of some to the issues lingering forever and all it takes is a decision and some funds to spearhead a project, we wonder why there is such a proverbial Sahara desert created in the midst of our time on earth where our knowledge and outreach is at such a pivotal layer in our human existence. Imagine a delinquent person owing say 10 000$ over a five year period having time lapsed or paid short on one or two payments but still pays throughout the pay period. Of course there would be penalties but ironically the penalties add up and the payment of that $10 000 literally explodes to perhaps another 50%. This delinquent person is paying 15000$ on a loan when he only borrows $10000 yet he is delinquent which represents in some way his inability to pay $10000 but he in fact pays 15000$. By financial principle he is delinquent but the reality of the situation is he is quite capable of paying obviously the 10000$ plus. This delinquency is suspect in that there just may be 'delinquent people out there who are contributing more substantially than even non delinquent people' but under the systematic principle this is interpreted otherwise at least for small business groups who cannot see a bailout fairy god mother, that is unless a notorious philanthropist steps in a blows the whole policy clean and clear out of the small business and global financial sectorial frontiere! Honestly, I wouldn't like to be a rich person. Have a lot of money is not in my plans and I think a lot of money brings a lot of troubles. If I had a lot of money, I would use it to help other people who might be needing it. But as what you have also planned to do with that money I would also invest not 30% but 40% of my money in order to grow it more and make me become richer. Another Ms. Universe kind of question hahaha. If I will be given a chance to have a lot of money what will do to it, well basically I will used this money to change my life for the better, I'm a person who is dedicated to help my family to lift up our economic status so I will invest some of the money so that it can grow while using the others in starting my very own business since I'm a business major and I love to have my own someday hahaha. I will distribute some to the bank account of my father, mother and sister and will support my grandparents. I will also give to some charities and will do charitable works because I believe that you should help not only yourselves but also others in need. If I have billions, I will first spend 10% initially for a nice car, house, gadgets, and anything that I ever wanted to buy. Invest 30% of them on mutual funds, trust funds, and VUL. this is to have passive income in the future and have an insurance if ever something happens to me, I won't deplete my resources and my dependents will get more if I die. I also hope that the interest I get from the passive income would already be sufficient to cover most if not all of my daily expenses, assuming that I will not be very extravagant on my expenses. I will then invest 20% of it to a business. Just to keep me busy and earn more money since I don't plan to work a regular 8-5pm job. Finally the rest will go to charity. I wan't to build a foundation that will give scholarship to the poor kids. Because whenever I see one I always pity them because it's not their fault they were born poor, I wan't to give them a chance to have a better life.

I'd take some and invest it into my own business. Then invest a little into some stock, bank a sizable chunk of it, and then live off of the rest. I certainly wouldn't go on a wild spending spree. I'm too practical for that. I'd certainly do some traveling though for sure. The first thing i would do is donate some of my money on church and some charities. I love helping poor people, it makes me happy. The other money, I will put some business and invest to some big companies to keep my money alive. To be realistic, I dont need a lot of money. All I need is a simple and happy life with my family. First, I will do a budgetary plan on how I am going to spend my money, what to do, how long will it last, something like that. After all are set, I will fist travel the world. I wouldn't waste my money by just putting it inside some storgae but I will not spend it carelessly. That's why I've got a plan first. My travels expenses will be all assumed and If I just follow the plan, it will go smoothly. I will visit the places that I've been wishing to visit all the time. If possible, leave a remembrance of that place by having a wife and a child at each of that places. Maybe it will take some time to do it but I have all the time I need. After I travel the whole world, I will pick the best place that I visited and will stay there to spend my remaining days in the world. At the same time, the place that I would choose will benefit from my wealth because my child in that place will be my heir, so I guess while I am travelling, so my wives will do their best to promote their place and to persuade me.

If I were to be so blessed as to have lots of money, I would travel the world, I would stay in both luxurious hotels and cheap rustic villas. I would want to experience the culture of every place I visit. If I had lots of money I would want to help as many people as I could. Housing is one of the major lucrative business investment one would invest in today in my country and if I happen to own a huge amount of money, believe me 80 percent of the money is going into housing projects.

The reason I crave housing projects and investment more is because, it's a business that only appreciates with time. House rent never drops but rather it increases with time. Yes it's true the houses might need renovating at a time but it doesn't come too soon.

A well constructed building might take more than 20 years before it requires to be renovated. So that is why housing project is the best I see viable to dive into.

If I have lots of money I will divide it into 10%-20% and 70%. The 10%, I will donate to church to help those needy. The 20% I will give to my mother and my brother. The remaining 70%, I will invest again to a tool that will generate again money such as in stocks, bonds or real estate. Then the interest in that 70% I will divide again into 10%-20%-70%. Money can be easily gone if we are not using it properly.

Are we talking of billions of dollars here? Wow, that's a lot of money to spend. A million dollars would be fifty million pesos in my country and that is a lot already. But it really depends on how I will get it. When in time because of different investments and businesses, I accumulated billions of earnings, then I think my life is not in a complete turn around instantly, so basically, life just transitions as my earnings do. Therefore, my spending is more calculated than when I got it in an instant. But when I will get it in an instant then I have to plan . First, I would buy an island somewhere in Europe, develop it in a fancy hotel and a retreat for me and my family. This is where I will invite my family and relatives to celebrate my earnings and give part of it so that they too, will have a chance to improve their lives. A good portion of it will be placed to generate more income by venturing in investments. Next, I will go to a particular remote place of the native aborigine people of my country. I will develop their location in a more sustainable way by providing clean water and solar energy to them. I will build schools for them near their place so that they don't have to travel so far just to learn. Then of course I will help my local church. Then I will start up a trade school to help a large number of youths who are willing to learn a trade to help them and give them livelihood. I will also build a community for the elderly and for the animals who are abandoned and abused.

Afterwards, I will travel the world with my family. I will buy a farm and live there because that has been a dream of mine.

If i had millions of dollars I would not change anything that i am doing right now. I would invest 75% of the money into my children by setting up accounts for them and then I would live off of the rest. If i had lots of money, what would i do with it is i would give half of my money to my parents and the other half I would used it on starting my own business like a resto bar or t shirt brand business. I always dream of becoming rich. There is a list of things I would do if I had lots of money. First thing I would do is give 20% of the money to my family and close relatives. 10% of the money I would donate to charity. 25% of the money I would invest in stocks, mutual funds and fixed deposits. For me I would first invest into some profitable undertaking just to ensure some continuity of income as I use the larger percentage of my wealth in charity work. First, I will do and buy all those things that I always wanted but can't because they are too expensive. I'd go and renovate my small house and have a room each for my two daughters, a big master's bedroom for me and the missus, a small cinema (always been my dream) and a small office for me. I'd pay off my mortgage and put the remainder into my kitchen and bathrooms if I won a couple of hundred thousand dollars. I'd also take my wife on a trip and purchase her favorite attire and jewelry. The remaining funds would be invested, and I may get a new bicycle. I'd split the money with my sister, pay off my mortgage, renovate my kitchen and bathrooms to a much higher standard, and buy a pretty great bike if we're talking about a couple of million dollars.
